Hi everyone, I wanted to share our horrible experience with this Construction company called owned…read moreby Omri Nagar. Unfortunately we had a horrible experience with this company, particularly with the owner Omri. With time we also learned that we are not the only family that went through that with him. Omri is an amateur, unprofessional, and a greedy person that tries to cash out as fast as possible without taking responsibilities for his wrongdoing and damages. Just to list a few things that were done: He destroyed one of our appliances that we were very clear on our intention to keep, he painted our master bedroom that was renovated few months prior to construction and was instructed not to touch it, he removed one of the interior doors and placed it outside for days which caused it to rotten, he took 2 large pieces of our granite countertops without our permission and after we asked to keep them, he destroyed the new flooring by trying to clean them with a material that clearly states on the label that it is not recommended for this kind of flooring. On that last example on the flooring, he later confessed that it was his first time doing that type of flooring. That was very frustrating. He didn't finish the work that he was already payed for and just left the site. The best way to show his work is to see it. Images of his amateur work are attached. Update: I just read your response. Unsurprisingly, the way you handle this review as exactly the same way as you handle the low standard of your work, the damages and missing items throughout your project. I added images of the transactions showing some of the money I paid you. Readers with common sense and basic decency will judge by themselves if I was a customer or not.

I had an extremely disappointing experience with this construction company. They failed to complete…read morethe project, leaving several parts of the job unfinished, including the trim work, flooring, painting, and caulking. Additionally, the floor is detaching from the baseboards. To make matters worse, they caused damage to my dishwasher and took two large granite slabs from the property without explanation. This has been a costly and stressful experience, and I would not recommend their services. We are not surprised by your arrogance and denial, we want to warn others to be aware! I truly hope our house was your last project in your unsuccessful career as so called contractor. Lying and cheating will not get you far!

The owner (Jamal) and another guy came to my home a couple months back and did a job in the powder…read morebath, which went fine. I had the owner give me an estimate for another bathroom remodel since he was already there. He said it would be approximately $600. So, now I finally have the new vanity in my possession and called them to schedule the job. The lady in the office (Heather) told me that they now refuse any jobs less than $1,000. They wouldn't honor the original quote by itself, even though the owner of the company provided it while standing in my home. Against my better judgment, I asked them to come out and provide an estimate for some other work I know I want to get done...just so I can get the bathroom done. They only provide quotes on Monday-Friday, so I had to schedule the appointment between 3-3:30 pm on Martin Luther King, Jr. day. 3:00 comes, 4:00 comes, 5:00 comes, NO JAMAL. Finally, at 5:08 pm, I called and spoke with Heather regarding the situation. She appeared very surprised that he hadn't shown up and advised me she would call me back. When she called back, she said she had gotten in touch with Jamal and his car had (conveniently) broken down. The owner of the company never bothered calling a customer who has a paying history with his company AND who they're now attempting to strong-arm into authorizing a job in excess of $1,000. So Heather asked me if I wanted to reschedule and I informed her that I work during the week. The only reason I was able to schedule them on Monday was because I was off for the MLK holiday and that scenario wouldn't reoccur until the end of May (Memorial Day). Heather said she understood and was surprised and appreciative that I wasn't yelling and/or cursing at her given the situation. She admitted that she probably wouldn't have the sane self-restraint. She said she would call Jamal to see if he would just do the bathroom for the ~$600 he quoted me given the fact that they caused me to waste half the day. As you can probably tell by this review, I have not heard from Heather nor anyone else at Plano Home Remodeling since that conversation. I very strongly encourage anyone to do business elsewhere. If a contractor does a no-call, no-show for an estimate, what do you think he's going to do on a job? I wouldn't recommend finding out!

This is what nightmares are made of: Promised a 1-month project. It took them 5. The quality of the…read morework was amateur at best and catastrophic at worst. I never got a solid plan, they hard-sold me high, promising we would reduce it, just to make me sign the contract. (my first mistake) Of course, those meetings to discuss my priorities and reduce the budget, never came. My dream wasn't realized as they either vetoed, forgot or bumbled each feature of my design. Examples: I have a wavy wall, it took them days to correct the paint throughout the house, they flat refused to match my craftsman trim, they forgot my vented kitchen hood, vetoed my transom (they don't even know what that is), failed plumbing inspection three times and nearly blew up my house. (I'm not embellishing) Had to install the cabinets twice (ordered incorrectly and hung at the wrong height), the rough plumbing is so poorly done that the knobs don't sit right and turn lop-sided; failed to contain the renovation dust which covered even stuff inside cabinets and drawers throughout the house. The cleaning crew came multiple times and I still had to hire my own at a cost of $360, to get all the ceiling fans, fixtures, floors, etc. finally clear of dust and paint splatters. They scratched my hardwoods and damaged my stove. To top it off, they stopped paying the subs and one of them put a lien on my house, EVEN though, i was up to date on my payment arrangement. (Yes, that's totally legal, for some reason!) The drama continues as I need help correcting some issues that i don't feel I should have to live with. I don't have the energy to upload pics but maybe later. Just trust me; pick someone else. Signed, Exhausted, Angry and Broke
