If you need any BLS/ACLS/PALS certification, this is your place!!…read more My group and I had to do our PALS training (Pediatric Advanced Life Support). It was super easy to schedule our course via phone/text. Marco, our instructor, made it as painless and efficient as possible. We learned all the important and relevant details without the extraneous fluff. They made it so easy. Thank you! We'll be back in 2 years!

My sister and I wanted to get recertification on our First Aid/CPR class since ours expired years…read moreago. Our instructor was Curtis. Right off the bat, you can tell he was going to be a cool and laid back teacher. Curtis is a professional and was professional in this course. He made sure that before we moved on, that we were confident in what we just learned. Any questions we had, he took his time on answering it. We never felt rushed. Curtis also had a great sense of humor because I was struggling on tying a certain knot. I didn't know the class was watching me struggle. As I tried my hardest to mimic Curtis' knot, Curtis jokingly said, "I'll be grading you on your knot." I would have failed. Great course! Highly recommend!

I have done CPR/FirstAid/AED training 2 times before (this was my third time) and I can honestly…read moresay that this was the best training I have ever done! Not only did I learn more in this training, but it was more enjoyable and a better use of my time (didn't drag on). The best part was that this was a hybrid course and I completed the majority of it online first - it is official Red Cross online training (you can even go back and access it later if you want as a refresher). The amazing part about it being online was the online training was very informative - it was very simulation based (like a video game) where you had to assess the situation and make different choices. I learned more this way than I ever did before because it was actually practical knowledge that I got to apply. Then by the time I attended in person we went over everything we learned online using the in person training aids (mannequins, AEDs, first aid bandages/wraps, etc.) and that was such a great reinforcement of what I learned online that this time the knowledge really sunk into my brain and I feel more confident knowing the skills than I ever have before. Also, in person the trainer, Brenden, was very entertaining and such a wealth of information. In addition to the training, he shared with us real life examples and stories to add to our knowledge which was very helpful. Because it is Covid, we wore our masks the entire time, sat 6 feet apart and had our own materials to work with (we didn't share and we didn't work with a partner). I felt super safe and I learned a lot! I highly recommend Key CPR to everyone! It is sooooo much better than other programs I learned in the past!

But also worked with the trainer Kathy once I started managing a division for an OC security company. Both times I did training with Kathy was a great experience. She would assist me with new hires I'd send over who didn't have a guard card and be sure they got the training they needed. 5 stars - Outstanding LASD CCW training with Hansen Firearms Training…read more I recently completed my initial 16-hour Concealed Carry Weapon course with Hansen Firearms Training for my Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department application, and it was an excellent experience from start to finish. The classroom portion was thorough, well-organized, and engaging. The instructor did a fantastic job covering everything required under the current California standards while keeping the material clear and practical. What stood out most was the hands-on instruction on the range. The instructor took the time to teach proper firearm grip and handling techniques drawn from his prior professional training experience. These methods made a noticeable difference and helped build real confidence with the firearm. The Long Beach training location was very convenient for me living in Lakewood. Scheduling was straightforward, the process was efficient, and everything needed for the LASD paperwork (Certificate of Completion and Shooting Proficiency Standards form) was handled smoothly and professionally. Overall, this was high-quality, no-nonsense training that prepared me well for the qualification and the rest of the CCW process. I would highly recommend Hansen Firearms Training to anyone going through their LASD (or other Southern California) permit. Great instruction, solid facility, and a positive experience all around.
