I'm with David T., I'm not real impressed with the selection and price of the groceries, except that they carry Laura's Lean Beef products, and that is a HUGE plus! Everything else seems to be a little more than Walmart, but again, not as much selection. I noticed that of the frozen low cal meals I buy, Target has four varieties and Walmart has eight.... I do like the clothes and the other items in the store. The candy election is HUGE and they now carry Godiva. YUM. But since I don't NEED Godiva, that's not really helping me much...lol I do like the little dollar section of fun item; definitely lots of neat things for stocking stuffers or little birthday gifts, or maybe even for rewards for teachers to give out. They are more expensive than Walmart, but definitely a lot nicer and cleaner place. I just wish they had more of a grocery selection. Oh! And the sodas at the front by the cash registers? Ice cold! When shopping here, there was a product (along with others) that was misplaced, but I didn't know. When I asked the employee to confirm the price, it wasn't the price marked so I took her to see why I had told her that price. She said this happened a lot, so she said she would mark it as the price we originally thought. She told her manager, Juan, to which he insinuated that I had placed that product there on purpose to get it at that price. At that point, I was shocked that he had said that, I began to tell him to forget it that I didn't want the product anymore. I told him that I didn't have time to move the product along with multiple other ones. When I told him I didn't want it, he tried to force me into buying the product, even told the cashier to ring it up for the price I originally thought it was. This is my Go-To Store. My mom & me visit here on regular basis. Love the dollar section & I can actually find clothes that fit me. I'm giving a 4 Star because I have issues with WIC. Not sure if it's all Targets or just this one. Got some reason it doesn't accept the formula but accepts everything else. I have already written corporate & talked to the store manager. And they are unable to help. Hope it's fixed soon. But won't stop me from shopping there. read more

It took me a little too long to get here, but I had to come back and talk about some exceptional customer service. Last November, my wallet disappeared suspiciously while I was shopping and trying things on. Vickie, Brittany, and Brandon were amazing in making me feel heard, and helping me try to figure things out!! I want to file a complaint On a very RUDE MANAGER (ASHLEY)! While I was going through the self checkout today, there was an issue with the price of one of my items. I requested the help of the lady working the self check out area which was very busy might I add, she was unable to find the price of the item in her system so she asked for assistance with verifying a price difference. I overheard the lady on the walkie talkie ask ( Joyce I think her name was) WHAT do you need, the cashier replied I need help in the front, the manager then raised her voice aggressively and said WHAT DO YOU NEED JOYCE very Rudely. This embarrassed me and the cashier. What a horrible manager to talk to her employees like that, and to know she is on a radio where the customer could see her lack of caring to help her customers and employees. The cashier was very apologetic for what I had overheard and helped me complete my transaction and for that I am grateful. The employee should not have to apologize for the supervisors actions. This manager needs to reprimanded and retrained for her horrible customer service. read more

Every time I come to this location, the cashier is so pushy with the Target Red Card. Today, when I politely declined the card (because I always use my travel card for points instead), the cashier named Saima ROLLED HER EYES at me and completely stopped talking to me. Was pleasantly surprised when browsing through electronics when one of the staff came up to me to ask if I needed any help finding anything. Most typically, employees know how to spot and avoid customers that need help, and will go up to customers that clearly do not need help. The staff working electronics went through his whole department and asked everyone if the needed help. I thought that was cool. read more

Customer service/return on this Target was real bad, It would be nice if the customer service counter will listen to customers feedback on why we are returning an item, I was told by the manager that they just work there and won't listen to my concern and feedback about the item I am returning. Please take note of your customers concern and feedback, you " just work there" is not a good excuse. read more

I visited this particular Target location today to purchase groceries and other items that I needed. When finished, I got into one of the checkout lanes. I was greeted by an extremely rude employee who's name tag read "Charlie." During the transaction, I asked her a few questions and was immediately interrupted by her with a rude, short response. She then grabbed three small travel-size antibacterial wipes that I had placed on the conveyor and said, "You can only have one of these" while angrily tossing the other two under the counter. I understand that times are stressful, but as a business owner myself, employees are to provide the highest level of customer service regardless of their mood. Several people became unemployed because of the pandemic. She should at least appreciate her employment status and understand that she's in a position that many would love to have. Been shopping her for a while now, moved near it 2 years ago. I feel like the store is never flooded with people like a Walmart usually is, it's very welcoming to shop around and not feel rushed. My only real complaint is about expired food in the fridge and freezer section. If this only happened to me once or twice I wouldn't make a deal out of it, but its happened multiple times. And I'm not talking about just milk, even things that are good for many months. My last encounter with this was frozen cheese cake, which is good for almost a year. When I got home and tasted it, I knew they got me again, it was over 2 months expired! My habit when I shop at this location now is always check the expiration date, on everything! On the bright side, they will refund you with no hassle, it's just annoying to have drive back down there. read more

Compared to Walmart, Target is cleaner and the staffs are friendly! I enjoy going to Target even when I don't need anything. I like to look at their clothes and clearance items. Their $1 section is fun to browse around too. I do have one complaint though. I bought the Neiman Marcus wristlet/pouch there and was unable to return it because there was a different deadline to return "holiday" items. I wish they would specific it on the receipt. How am I supposed to know that it has a different return deadline than their regular return policy? Disappointed with the one aspect of customer service, so I will knock down one star. read more

Clean store. Is target more expensive than Walmart? Yes. You pay a bit more for certain items however target will price match Walmart and Amazon.com. It's never super packed, there aren't super trashy employees or customers at this store like at Walmart. I don't mind paying a bit more when I am given a clean, professional and enjoyable shopping experience. read more

I consider this my local Target and I visit quite often. Sometimes I am disappointed in the quality of the store- for example, today the shoe section was a TOTAL mess. There were shoes everywhere, no order, all over the floor. The women's clothing department seems to be the only department that is consistently clean and organized. The store is usually well stocked, but I do not buy produce from here as it doesn't always look fresh. There is usually staff around the store to assist as needed. The pet section usually has everything we need as well as the toiletry section. Of course, Target is one hundred times better than Wal-Mart, so I can't complain too much. This store also finally upgraded their carts to the new, fancy version. Overall, I love Target, like that I can get 5% off every purchase with the debit card but would like to see the store in a more organized condition! read more

This is my absolute favorite Target hands down. They always have items stocked and are always fresh. Bob T. Is a cashier here. He works mainly mornings. He is a true joy to be around. Always a smile on his face, and the voice of a movie announcer. :) Bob is the reason I come here. He is what makes this store different from all the rest. I know how I will be greeted and how my items will be taken care of. He is quick to tell you of any promotions going on and always offers the red card. There is also a young guy that works the starbucks counter. I am terrible with names but he wears glasses and works afternoons. He is always friendly and makes my drinks perfect. read more

I love this location! The associates I've been helped by have all been very helpful and some even recognize me and call me by name which makes the whole customer experience so much more elevated and personal. The electronics department is great and I love this nifty little button you can press to call for assistance and a team member comes over right away. I did have one issue when trying to take advantage of the price matching policy but the issue was resolved quickly and professionally. Have been using the target since they have opened and do not plan to go back again. They are terrible with coupons. Tried to use a buy 2 get one free coupon and it did not work at the register. So I checked out and went to customer service to get the discount from the coupon and they could not get the coupon to work on their computer. I had the correct merchandise. The coupon was correct but they could not get it to work, at customer service and the manager said they can't do it because it does not work on the computer, all managers I have seen will override and give the discount, Nope not here. I shop by my coupons and if the store cannot handle running coupons then why are they in business read more

I bought a couple of vintage skirts at the target at Kemah and I had to buy two small sizes in the T-shirt hoping that it would work for my son but they were a bit too small so I went to the Target on Bay Area with the two small shirts in the receipt that I had paid cash for at the Kemah Target and I was shocked that they wouldn't accept the exchange they said it takes 24 hours before the receipt shows on their computer system what do you mean you took my money you took my cash sale and I have to wait a whole 24 hours before I can return the item unless I go back to the store that I purchased it which they did have the shirt size that I need totally ridiculous that is why my friends I rarely rarely shop at Target and I have decided after today two totally not ever step foot in a desolate deserted Target that really doesn't carry anything I actually need their stores might be clean because there's nobody in there shopping their clothes are pretty mediocre there grocery store actually really really sucks I bought vegetables that have gone bad within 8 hours of purchase I've always disliked Target and now I know why their company policy pretty much sucks in my book they definitely need to upgrade their computer and sales technology to show this sales really you took my money but money does it show up on your books for a whole 24 hours what kind of crap is that read more
