This place has changed a bit over the years. I actually preferred the layout about eight years ago. That being said, they added a grocery section that was not there eight years ago. The selection when I went in last time actually seemed a little cheaper in quality department as well. My wife has fond some good buys on kids clothes here though and I have bought some miscellaneous items. I shop at the Farm Fresh next door so it is convenient for me to run in sometimes. They have a pretty good selection. I have had good and poor experiences with customer service tough hence the three stars instead of four. read more

Target - Department Stores Near Me - Virginia Beach, Virginia

Oh how I love target let me count the ways lol no but I like this location they just remodeled the front of store and it looks really great. During the remodel I came here a couple of times. And like target does by sticking to their bourgeois ways they had offered "luxury" port-a-potty's. Still an outhouse but with a lil flare lol anywho target is a great place that offers reasonably priced items for gifts and party planning. I shop at target for everything : clothes , food, toiletries etc. they do a great job at being a one stop shop. If you visit here a lot I would suggest their cartwheel app. It will show you what items are in stock and also offers coupons. I recently came here to pick up a secret Santa gift and was able to find everything I needed without any hassle. Accessories. I must comment on targets accessories and purse section. They have some very cute options for a great price. Earrings, sunglasses, purses, wallets all very cute and fun options to try out. So yes woot woot for target lol read more

This is going to make me sound pretty lame but this is my favorite Target because they have the best shopping carts. New, clean, quiet, and plastic opposed to the more common metal ones. They are light and easy to steer. The store was well stocked, clean, and plenty of cash registers were open. The employees were friendly and helpful also. read more

I accidentally dropped my keys in their garbage can and the employees were kind and retrieved my keys. Their customer service is impeccable.

This target is one of the good ones and by that I mean they usually have what I need. The store itself is pretty clean. Their little food court has a little slection of food which is nice and don't forget your popcorn whilst you shop! The frozen section is an area that I love because they have a nice selection of organic and meatless items that are priced reasonably. The store employees have all been nice and I've never had any isssues so far as that's concerned. read more

I went in the other day and the store was amazing! Their selections, their customer service, the Starbucks in the front AM I RIGHT?! I had such a great time, thanks a lot for all your help in housewares Kathy! The cherry on top was obviously the affordable prices. Unfortunately the store was busy and I had to park really far from the door so I'm leaving one star. read more

I agree with Kaitlin, the carts are pretty nice, but the service kinda sucks. I came here yesterday looking for some accessories for a party that I'm going to and I asked the guy working there, if these were the only bracelets in the store? He said yes. Just a couple of minutes later I found more bracelets somewhere else! Then I went to look for a water filter for my shower head. I went to where the shower heads are, looked and looked and couldn't find a filter. I figured they might be in a different area of the store so I went to go hunt down someone who could help me. I looked and looked for almost 10 minutes. I kept thinking, "Is there an app for this? There should be an app for this!" I finally found someone who works there and they told me to look where the shower heads are! Ugh! read more

Always a mess in this Target. Shelves unorganized, items on the floor, it's disgusting. read more

Everyone loves target, and I'm in that group! They have a great selection of everything from home goods to fruits and vegetables! This particular location always has an abundance of parking and of course a great women's clearance selection read more

Target has a lot of cute stationary items and overall I would come here for decor and clothes. It's those stores where you come in wanting to buy one thing then end up coming out with ten things from the appliance section. read more

Not a lot to say..... Store was very clean and staff looked like they enjoyed working here. Normal Target....We all know that I cant go anywhere without stopping at Target. LOL read more

Target is one of my favorite stores! However, my visit to this location yesterday was probably the worse ever! I stopped by to return some items. One item did not have a price tag on it and I told the associate that another item was scanned twice when I initially paid for the items. Instead of using the item that was scanned twice, since that was being returned as well, the associate rudely asked me to go get the item from the shelf so she could scan it. In all my years of shopping, I have never had an associate of any store make it my job to go back and get an item without a price tag. To add insult to injury, she said it more than one and motioned in the direction I should walk. I informed her she needed to scan the item that did have the price twice since that was done during the initial purchase. That seemed to be a novel concept to her. Her rudeness and lack of knowledge in completing the return surprised me. However, I'm sure her rudeness is an anomaly for a Target associate because I have always had great experiences in Target stores. I just may not be visiting this location anytime soon... read more

This is by far my favorite Target to shop at. Its in a great location close to home. Store is always clean. During my most resent stop, I had exceptionally great service from Sean at check out, he was polite and informative. He sets the standard. read more

This Target is always very clean and stocked. I prefer here than going to Wal-Mart. They have most everything I need and I like the candy selection. The checkout lines are much shorter than Wal-Mart and they recently added a self check out. Good store, I recommend it. read more

Very reasonable prices, especially in the health and beauty section. I like to use a shampoo and conditioner made by organix's and in NY is usually cost around $9.00 for each bottle. I was able to get my shampoo and conditioner for $5.00 a bottle. I also brought some other things as well but I was excited about the shampoo prices lol. Well I didn't walk around the entire store I was able to see that the store was clean, well stocked and organized. Staff was very visible in case you needed help. read more

I thought I would come to this target location as Im sure I bought everything at the Target on military Hwy closer to my house. This Target is crappier than the one on military hwy, imagine that. No Starbucks, filthy bathrooms, long lines. read more

So here we are in the cyber world talking about my obsession with Target. What store can you go for the perfect outfit for any occasion, fruit for your smoothies, and artwork for your new house all in one place?? Out of all the Targets in the area, this one is the cleanest and most organized of all of them. When there's a long line, the manager promptly opens other lanes to accommodate the sudden influx of patrons and the cashiers are quick and accurate. Definitely my go-to place! read more

I was in this particular Target today and had an unpleasant experience with a cashier name Linda all while her manager Chelsea stood by an allowed it all to happen. Apparently Linda closed her line but never turned her light off. She and her manager was helping another customer already in line. Since the light was on I got in Linda's line and she rudely said to me "I'm closed"...her manger Chelsea standing next to her didn't say anything. I responded to Linda "if you're closed then turn off your light" Linda the cashier didn't say anything nor did the Chelsea the manager. I got in the next line and the customer there told me Linda did the same thing to her. So how does two customers get in Linda's line while she has her light on but somehow she's actually closed and Linda is rude to two customers and Chelsea the manager allows it. What's wrong with this picture. read more

I am Not happy that Target has not opened up their fitting rooms. You're making us, have to buy clothing that may or may not fit us, or we may or may not like how we look in it, PAY FOR IT, TRY IT ON AT HOME, and then have to come back and return the shit we bought. Your dressing rooms are the SAME as the self check out machines. Why can't someone clean the dressing room and sanitize it between uses? Or at least after every few uses?!? You do it at the self check out! This is ridiculous!! You're scamming people! Don't even try and say it's because of COVID. BULL FUCKING SHIT. At this point, you're just being lazy. If you're SO worried about COVID, why allow people to return their clothes they bought? Hmm? You're just gonna "clean them" and put it the clothes back out on the floor for someone else to buy. SO WHY CANT YOU HAVE A STORE ATTENDANT CLEAN THE DRESSING ROOMS?!?!? ITS NOT THAT COMPLICATED. You're just being lazy. It's very inconvenient as a customer, to come in and not be able to try things on that I like. Sometimes I dont Have the extra money to spend on everything I try On. So it's frustrating to spend money, go home, try stuff on, and then come back and return my shit. ITS TOTAL BULLSHIT! Not happy with you target. NOT HAPPY. read more

Target is a great store to shop in period! Prices are reasonable, selection of items is really good and service always on point. RedCard and Cartwheel app are must have if shop at Target a lot, like I do. Stores like Wal-Mart and Kmart can't compare to Target. Kudos to Target! read more

Great Target, which was smaller than the one located at the Pembroke mall. The service at the pharmacy was fast and courteous.

Always liked Target...but they've made some renovations recently. The biggest change is when you walk in, the food stand (with hotdogs, soda and popcorn) has been replaced by an "uppity" Starbucks...??? Why? I loved what they had before. I stood in line for nearly 10 minutes to get a coffee (even with two barristers dragging their feet to assist customers). I said the heck with it and did my shopping. Target corporate are you listening? Get rid of Starbucks and bring back the down to earth food/snack cafe that your customers loved. read more

Cashiers Shawnee and Amanda were very rude and disrespectful! They gave me a hard time at checkout when I used coupons for my purchases. They scanned and re-scanned the items in the bags. They made it look like no one ever used coupons before. You have to train your employees better, Target! Or hire better people! read more
