Horrible customer service. I ordered online to pick up at the store to save some time, both woman were clueless about my order, in the end told me that the item wasn't available at the store. I shopped for over an hour. Checking out there was a line 20 people deep. Finally I was called to check out. I was directed to a line that was closing but the woman in charge was directing another cashier there. I was putting my things on the belt the woman in front of me was at the end of the counter and the cashier pushed my stuff and said wait. she was rude. The new cashier steps in doesn't bother to say hello - checks me out and I am assisting to some degree with bagging. I had a large. very full cart. At one point Amanda the cashier hands me a bag and says aren't you going to keep helping. I said no. Perhaps if she wasn't so nasty I would have but then she proceeded take pillows that I bought and literally threw them on the floor. I asked for a manager who didn't turn out to be very helpful at all. he appeared very inexperienced. I will be calling to speak with the general manager who by the way nobody seem to know his last name. severe lacking of customer service at the store. I ultimately returned everything at $323 order and walked out! Lorenzo and aManda clearly need more training when it comes to customer service. You lost a good customer. read more

This location is like a hidden jewel in Springfield. Parking is plentiful and shared with Best Buy and Whole Foods. Its your typical Target but I have always been able to find deals here. I give it four stars because the prices are a little higher because of their location compared to the one in Union. Staff is nice and the store is kept pretty clean. There is a Starbucks in this location to get your coffee fix on. Recommendation to shop here is high just look for the deals and you will be one happy shopper. read more

Unfortunately frequent this target due to how close it is to my home..... but just like every other review- the store is in terrible condition, nothing stocked on shelves and instead parked in carts throughout the store. Really love when there are no carts for me to shop with and then see 100 of them parked in aisles of the store. Doesn't matter if I come at 9 am or 9 pm. Very disappointing. I love shopping at target but this location has really declined over the last two years. Not to mention I have been incorrectly charged multiple times for items and later have to reconcile through customer service/ have purchased damaged items to return. I'm so bummed about a recent purchase I made at target in Gilbert, Arizona. I usually have great experiences but I recently purchased their women's leggings and within one hour I had multiple holes in the leggings. The material was literally ripping and I promise, I was wearing the right size. The black pair was fine but the gray pair ripped as if the material was defective. read more

Typical Target. It's does the job. My girlfriend and I go here on a regular basis. It's pretty well stocked for our needs most of the time (restock that non-dairy Ben and Jerry's though!). I've been shopping here for six years - it used to be a good Target store, but it has really gone downhill recently. The shelves and racks are always a complete mess; there are shopping baskets and carts loaded with merchandise that either hasn't been put away or removed by staff, blocking access to shelves; and the Target app is useless here:if it tells you something's in stock and you drive across town to buy it, it's nowhere to be found. It's a drag, because it's a convenient shopping center with a Whole Foods and a Best Buy, that serves a large community. There needs to be some kind of intervention! The staff I've talked to are pleasant, but they are clearly overwhelmed, or just clueless. read more

For the past month or more there have been signs asking for our patience while they do renovations. Clearly management is delusional. The staff in this Target cannot keep up with their usual tasks. If you want to renovate you need to bring in an entirely different crew. Every Saturday morning the aisles are blocked by pallets for restocking, but there is no one actually putting things on shelves. On the rare occasion you do see someone working they are standing in front of what you need and oblivious. Last week I had to ask three times for the staff person to move so I could reach the orange juice. Also, check expiration dates carefully. Every week I find expired milk and yogurt on the shelves. That being said, the prices on cereal, muffins, and other staples are much lower than other stores in the area, which is why I return. read more

I am surprised to see such negative ratings for this target. We shop here regularly and have never had a bad experience. Great for of all the things you go to target for. I would like them to restock the vegan Ben and Jerrys ice cream more often - but that's my only minor complaint. Overall, a great target location. read more

Absolute nightmare.. more than half the employees don't want to be there, and they make you aware of that.. the other half don't even know they're workin! Merchandising is horrific, inventory is scarce, aisles are crowded and can't walk down.. it'd be okay if it were ppl that caused the congestion.. but it's carts .. 2 3 4 carts blocking a whole aisle. Just a nightmare. I shop here for all my underclothes and random hygienic stuff.. until today. I will not spend another dollar at this location. Oh! Not to mention the loss prevention kid following me and acting like he was busy with something else when I took notice to him.. for one, that's harassment, for two, I don't need to steal anything from anyone.. sorry target, it's over. This review is for the Electronic section. They are the worst ! I was lied too . The salesman told me the TV I was buying does not go on sale . I believe him . He was so convening . So I bought the TV . Then a few weeks later I saw the TV on sale for $400 less then I paid for it . So I went to another salesman who said I could not do a price adjustment. Which was another lie . So a few days later I went to customer service to ask and they said I could have done one . But the sale is over . I was told they are salesman they would say anything from customers service. I hate this place. I mean, it's totally convenient, but it's the only Target that I have often left empty-handed and depressed. Sometimes they are out of every single thing I need - and I am only looking for everyday things. There are often nearly empty shelves, pallets stacked in the way of shopping, and the place is so dirty. SO DIRTY. I have tried the bathroom twice - fool me once... it was the worst I have seen. This is the worst target I've ever been to. They never have ANYTHING you are looking for unless it's snacks (which they have an over abundance of) . It's hard to find someone to help you and sometimes when you do find someone their response is " Sorry,this isn't my department " . The lines tend to always be long so it's never an in and out visit. This is a very nice and new Target. It has a Starbucks in the Store. You can even use your Target credit card to get 5% off at the Starbucks. The store is generally well stocked. It also often has a ton of holiday items if you're into that sort of thing. read more

Worst staff ever. I came in to get an infant car mirror. I asked two staff members happily chatting to each other which direction the infant and baby things were. I wanted to run in and out as quickly as possible because the baby and my sister were in the car. I asked for their assistance and they told me to walk down and that I should just see it. Neither of them were helping a customer, they chose to carry on their conversation rather than give me suitable directions. After wondering to the correct aisle and not finding the item, I asked another employee, it wasn't his section but he did get another employee that worked in the baby section. When I asked her for the car mirrors for infants, she told me she didn't know what that was and that I couldn't find it because they didn't sell it. SERIOUSLY? She then showed me a sun screen to keep the sun out the baby's face. I tried to explain that wasn't what I was looking for. Again she adamantly explained they didn't sell car mirrors for infants. Then I turn and look to my left and there around the corner were the baby mirrors. What an awful experience. What a crappy training your staff. Honestly, I could have and probably will order from Amazon going forward. I didn't think asking for help, the bare minimum of their job description was "going above and beyond". The manager that I spoke with Gloria, seemed to think that it wasn't so bad and that her staff had been helpful. What a joke. And they wonder why their jobs are being phased out. read more

Tried the new Target Curbside service at this store. I couldn't get anyone's help curbside, so I parked my car and walked inside. There were five employees who all said they couldn't help - three were talking to each other and told me they could only help customers download the Curbside app, not help with orders. The Customer Service desk was the only team that could help. There was only one associate on the register - and two employees chatting behind the counter - with three people in line. Overall a very poor Target experience. read more

This is worst Target I've ever seen; they have carts of items all around the store. The shelves are not stock; items are missing and there's no sales person on the floor. The towels were all over the floor and clothes were not organized. Target should be ashamed of themselves. They want you to spend more & for what a lousy shopping experience. I love target! The workers are very nice. It is very easy to find wish you need in that store. It is clean and very organized.

I have more bad experiences than good experiences. Everytime I go in this Target I have to search for a good ten minutes to find an employee. Then when I do find one they never stop to help you find what you are looking for, they will point and give you directions and keep it moving. The last time I was there I asked for a manager none came. Then I go to the front to ask for a manager everyone just looking around lost. And don't get me started on them not even knowing what's going on in their circular. Plus recently I was on crutches and when I went to use he electrical scooter not one, it one was chargers. I said fuck it put my crutches in the cart, held on to it for dear life, and had to hobble around your store to do my shopping. I don't know if the corporation just forgot about this store but something needs to be done or better handled. Understaffed, overworked employees do not make for solid representatives for your company. What's so scary is that the managers know this but they don't care. It would be different if i didn't know what this Target was like when it was a good place to shop. The current state it's in from the ignorant barista I dealt with in the past, to spending half my shopping trip looking for any employee, y'all should be ashamed of yourselves. read more

Today 3/21/15 @ 6pm was my worst Target experience ever...I love Target & I usually go to the Target on route 22 but today I decided to go to the one on Vauxhall Rd, & boy do I wish I would have gone to regular Target...This particular store has a Starbucks inside, so once I had finished purchasing my items I went over to Starbucks & things went left from there...First I pay for my Drink and wait for someone to make it...the young lady makes the person that was after me drink first...I informed her that I felt very insulted by that and her retort was that it was a quicker drink to make and she didn't think it was going to be an issue...i informed her that I've never seen that happen at Starbucks before and I'm appalled. Her co-worker who was washing dishes began laughing about the matter and they began to discuss the matter amongst each other as I'm waiting for my drink...and I asked them to stop because it was over with & then one of the young ladies began speaking to very nastily that this is how Starbucks works...I told her it was over with and if she continued to go on and on I was going to get the manager and again in a very disrespectful manner she exclaimed go get the manager it doesn't matter...at this time a customer that was waiting for his drink and also an employee of Target began to converse with me & the 2 workers and I explained to him the issue was a done deal and as he continued to hold a conversation about me to the young ladies...I asked him to mind his business and he then became so belligerent that a Union Police Officer approached him in a aggressive manner and I demanded at that moment to speak to a manager...I spoke with Tim and he was very professional and aided me with getting in contact with corporate office...The 2 workers lacked professionalism and should be retrained...definitely not suitable to work at that location... read more
