Target is my #1 go to store to do grocery shopping and I gotta say that customer service here is amazing .

I went shopping at this store last Saturday. Since then, I have had to go back THREE TIMES to make returns for bad items. TIME WASTER #1: I bought a set of glasses for my kitchen. When I got home and opened the box, two glasses were missing because some delightful lovely person stole two of the cups and then returned the box and clearly Target did not check the box before they put it back on the shelf for me to purchase! TIME WASTER #2: I bought some sponges for washing dishes and when I opened the pack they were brown and moldy in spots and falling apart. GROSS! TIME WASTER #3: I purchased some ground pork (I don't normally buy groceries at target but I thought it would save me some time..ha! How innocent and naive I was) and when I opened the pack it smelled like rotten eggs. The expiration date isn't until tomorrow so...GROSS AGAIN! Basically, the days of quality control and taking care of customers is completely gone. Every time I made a return the teenagers behind the counter who helped me didn't blink an eye or seem concerned that what I was returning was as a result of either theft or rot. Don't waste your time. Amazon has everything that target has, and probably at a better price, and it gets delivered right to your front door. Target is the answer to everything. Need makeup? Food? Clothes? A whole bunch of other shit you didn't think of? Mmmhm. If you leave here spending less than $100 you're some kind of wizard. Can't feel bad though, because there isn't a site called People of Target. You're good. Five stars because one of the cash register gals asked me to come back and visit her. A very nice and very BIG Target.... Well laid out and easily half again as big as our local one in Beaverton. They seem to have all of the newest offerings from the Target guys, which makes you want to spend twice as much money. Everything is clean and well organized too... read more

Two stars, and that's 1 star extra because Manager Kaytelyn and Guest Service Julie provided fast and excellent service. I've been at this Target before: it's not the nicest, I have a feeling they're short on staff. Having said that:'it's close by and for the very few times I shop at Target, it does the job. Last week I purchased a lamp on sale, absolutely chuffed with my bargain. When I came home, the lamp shade didn't fit. A little bit of not-so-handy work, and it didn't fit at all. So I needed a new lampshade. Walked in today, wanted to tell the cashier I already purchased the lamp before anybody would think else while I carried it around in my bag. The cashier was unfriendly and told me she would close in a minute. Onward to the next one who smiled and said "not a problem." At the home improvement department I saw so many separate lamp shades and non fit. So I walked through the store trying to find someone, finally I found an employee who walked with me. I explained my problem. She pointed out the separate lampshades and said "here are separate lampshades." I explained again and asked for more help. Her reaction was "well, I don't know." My question is somebody from this specific department could maybe help was shrugged off. Well, how do I piss a customer off!! On to the Guest Services where Julie efficiently asked for help and told me to return to the lamp shades again. This time I was welcomed with a smile: Kaytelyn helped me out in under 2 minutes. When I checked out, the not so friendly cashier helped me. Well, Wendy "new team member," I think you've not attended "customer service" class yet. A smile opens many doors in life and even more so in a store when you like customers to return. So thank you, Julie and Kaytelyn. Your help is highly appreciated and worth mentioning! I'll be thinking of you when I enjoy the lamp and write the other experience of as just a bad day for those two employees. I do have a feeling this Target should pay more attention to customer service. And maybe let Kaytelyn and Julie explain what Real Good Service is. If it wasn't for them, I wouldn't have set foot in this store anymore. read more

I have never been in such a horrible store!! Clothes all over the floors, couldn't push the cart for running over new clothes. Sale clothing jammed onto racks so you couldn't look at anything if you wanted to. Went to try something on, clothes a foot high on the bench, plastic hangers all over the floors. Absolute pig sty. Grocery isle, empty boxes so you couldn't get thru. An absolute disgrace to the target name. This place needs a manager that can do the job. read more

This Target is a frequent shopping spot as it is on my way home from just about anywhere I regularly go, and is close to my house. Their prices for non-prescription meds and bathroom items is very reasonable. I like that I can get a lot of different items in one place. If only it was union I'd give it four stars. read more

Target - Department Stores Near Me - Tigard, Oregon

I went on the wrong day (post-Target hack, when everything was 10-15% off). It was crazy busy. Still, the checkout lines weren't very long, but even with just one person in front of me it took a realllllllllllly long time to check out. I also had to check out twice, because the first time, when I went to pay the system decided to die and everything had to be rung up again. Also, all their video games are behind security panels that you need an employee to open and get for you. Well, good luck finding one. I wandered around for 15 minutes before finding someone, who had a line of people to help, so I had to wait another 10 minutes. After they got my item, they put it up front where I had to stand in another line to check out. The problem? There are shelves of merchandise right in front of the check out area so you essentially have people lining up in aisles of merchandise that have no idea who is next because there is 0 organization to it. All in all, probably the least organized, most frustrating Target trip I've ever had in my entire life. read more

I shop mostly home goods, so this review is based mostly on that. As home goods go, they have a little bit of everything. I came here looking for very specific things and did find half of them here. The other half were nowhere to be seen whatsoever, and these are pretty basic home goods. Other than that, what I did find that I needed were reasonably priced and decent quality. I have however returned two items (one broke on the first use) and returns were super easy, the staff was courteous and didn't give me a hard time. I actually liked the item I broke (a bit of it was my fault) so I just bought it again. So far been working just fine. The staff are quick and no nonsense. They say hi, scan items, ask for payment. I like that because it's really busy and I want to get out of there asap. My only gripe is that they have tiny selections of things, only one or two of any of the items I am looking for. This causes me to buy something way more than I wanted, way less than I wanted, or just not get it at all. A bit of a hassle when searching for specifics but I usually find everything else I want at the other shopping centers. read more

I love Target because it's mostly one-stop shopping, now with grocery (which I hope keeps expanding), and the pharmacy. Also a very convenient location for me. I give it 4 stars instead of 5 mainly because when they are stocking in the aisles, it's often obvious they're annoyed I'm in their way. Waited in line over 10 minutes for an online pickup order. The system was one of the worst I've ever seen. Returns and online pickup signs all located in the front by a large counter. Two employees were at the register with a huge line of people returning items. Near the online order sign were two employees breaking down boxes with zero acknowement to anyone. I just gave up and decided to go somewhere else. read more

Really upset after my most recent visit. I had recently come in with my brother and boyfriend for new speakers + headset. We didn't know what we were buying so we had to compare different products in the two different aisles to make sure it was the right choice. Along the way I went looking for furniture but got the garden area confused for the furniture which actually was in the front. So I went near entrance to look but they had few options, then went back to electronics when an employee stopped me and my family saying "Just loitering the store today, guys?" When we had CLEARLY had items our hands we were ready to buy. This was so frustrating and I wish I had talked to him about it. So it's the smallest Target store I've ever been in. But it has a very straightforward layout: all the clothes are in the center and everything else (except some baby stuff is in the middle) is on the outside on the white tile sourrounding the carpeted area. The store is shaped like a square. It is actually secularized. All of the stereotypical femaleh's stuff is on the right half of the store (cleaning supplies, picture frames, home office, pots, decour, groceries, maternal apparel, young women's clothing, etc) and the whole left half of the store is stereotypical men stuff (electronics, sporting goods, toys, mens atheletic apparel, hardware, etc.) Maybe it's not and I am the person being stereotypical but I'm pretty sure it was designed that way. The service is somewhat slow but with the store's easy layout, you can usually find what you're looking for pretty easily. Sometimes the aisles are a bit disorganized but who could blme the workers when the store is always cramped and busy? The workers are typically well mannered and nice, but nothing acceptional. Things are pretty cheap and they have some good deals sometimes, but things aren't always actually in stock which is a huge dissapointment. read more

This Target's kinda rundown. My wife and I come to wander aimlessly, scour the clearance racks, and hope to get a fresh dose of that blue icee. It's like crack. I can't get enough. As a techno and mediaphile, it is fun to look for their ever shifting deals. It's like a treasure hunt and super rewarding to snag that blu ray for 10 bucks. read more

As a Minnesotan, I never known life without a Target. I like Targets a lot. However, I have a bone to pick with this location. The parking spots are too small! My tiny Civic practically takes up the whole parking space. What gives? My Civic didn't get fat; your parking spots got smaller! I hate to be demanding, but redraw your lines. read more

This Target needs renovation. It feels dirty and old. I like Target, but this one feels more like Wal-Mart. It's got all the normal Target stuff so you're not going to miss anything if you're a Target shopper and this one is the closest to you. read more

I really love Target and normally adore the customer service reps. Today was different, not the first time I ran in to this particular cashier, but found it odd how personal she got when she mentioned a discussion with a coworker about the need for another break after this "horrible day". As she once again tried to sell us a debit card and my husband politely declined, she asked me what I was doing on my phone and said it was rude of me to text at the checkout line. I was actually researching product reviews as I had planned on coming back to make a purchase on a new item. Seriously? I work in customer service and I know that was completely out of line. I understand she was disappointed that we weren't interested in a target debit card. But that was unnecessary. read more

Love this place and pretty much live here. Buy a ton of stuff for my kids and probably a bunch of crap I don't need. Staff is friendly every time and help when I need it. Clean. Sales are awesome. Right next to the mall get all your shopping done at once! read more

The best part about this place is the Pharmacy staff. Sometimes the wait time is longer than I would like, but that's life! The staff makes up for it by being so engaging and friendly. They greet me warmly by name and try to make sure everything goes smoothly. If there are any problems they work hard and quickly to resolve them. Love you guys! read more

Dang, so I was shopping with my husband last night and passed the maternity section and in the corner front of the section there are two sweaters hanging there. One is a poncho style, other was just a pull over sweater with the shoulders cut out DIRECTLY above these two hanging sweaters there is a sign that says buy one get one 50% off (great deal) but I was too tired to try them on so I decided to come back today. Grabbed them, tried them up (still has the sign hanging over them) and when we went to ring out both came up full price and I mentioned the sign and the lady called over a manager and the manager without even looking or checking anything said "those are for the pants " the sign did not specify it was for pants. Maybe the signs should be directly next product advertised. Signage is pretty important when people are shopping. I would consider this false advertising. The buy one get one 50% off is on about ten different racks In the maternity section. Not one being next to pants. Seem strange, huh? read more

I'm used to shopping at the Sherwood target which is a great store. My grandmother bought a baby swing that stopped working in the first week. I contacted the hall target to notify them that I wanted to return a product without a receipt and they told me that was perfectly fine. I was helped by an older lady by the name Deana. Deana told me I wouldn't get thefull amount for the product with no receipt. A little concerning but not a big deal. The problem I had was the fact that Deana was telling me how not bringing in a recipe is suspicious and how people take advantage of the system that they don't need a receipt. Then Deana told me that I need to "watch out" because my personal ID had a limit of no receipt returns. If this was the only negative experience I had it wouldn't be a big deal. The hall targets floor is always dirty, there has been a type of baby bottle nipple that I have been looking before my son was born and he is now six months old. Product is always disorganized and majority of the time I see holes where product should be. I don't know how the Sherwood target is a night and day difference from the hall target. The CVS pharmacy in this target is terrible. I switched my prescriptions to here because it's close but honestly I should have kept with rite aid. Riteaid always had my scripts done in 15 minutes no matter the line or sooner. Here at CVS it's always 45min-and hour and a half. I understand there's only one guy who can do it but why not have two people on hand? Why have 5 assistants in there and only one person to fill them? I got my wisdom teeth out and by the time I got my meds the numbing shots wore off and I almost passed out from pain by the time I got to my bathroom 5 minutes down the road with my meds. And I'm no wimp with pain. (Granted wisdoms shouldn't hurt this much either) It shouldn't take this long. If someone comes in with a mouth full of blood and gauze and a bruised face (or broken leg or clearly needing their stuff now) why not fill theirs first?? It would probably be quicker if I stayed at rite aid and drive the little longer of distance than wait here for something I need right now. Or Walmart or Safeway, or anywhere. This place just is taking forever! I'm not happy. Two stars just because I feel bad for complaining. read more

Greeted by the team member at guest service when we walked in - went the wrong way due to a weird One Spot layout. Walked all through the store to check out different sales/clearance. Passed several people in red and khaki - not a single one greeted us. My shopping partner mentioned how he hadn't been greeted since we first walked in within earshot of a team member - still nothing. Walked through seasonal, up to guest services still not being greeted or even acknowledged by a single employee. Made it self check out and got to listen to a tiny blonde behind guest services speak in a super condescending manner to the same team member who had greeted us before. Pretty sure I wouldn't be speaking like that to the only person who greeted me during a 15+ minute Target trip. What happened to guest service in this store? We literally passed 10-15 team members without a single word, smile, nod. As a former target employee - I would be ashamed if this was my store. read more
