JULIE AND SHANDI NEXT TO HER
Lana S.

This associate Julie needs to be fired IMMEDIATELY for profiling, unprofessionalism, lying and sheer rudeness. I will be calling corporate first thing Monday morning. When walking towards checkout she physically blocked us from going to a register and let us know "they're closing them" -- mind you each register has people at it, all open. She proceeded to huff "fine just go" given there were multiple people behind us that walked up to a register with no comment from her. From that moment, as we scanned our items, she was standing directly behind us, watching every scan. We spent $250 (extremely frequent shoppers) only to be followed towards the door. When walking out, a group teens walked out with us and the security lights went off on the bars before the door. We of course stopped and started swinging our bag to see if it was us, it was not. When the manager walked up, she said "do you have any electronics?" Before we could answer, Julie runs up and says "YES THEY DID, LEGOS AND EVERYTHING ITS THEM"....we had no electronics and were standing there completely shocked at her raising her voice. When we swung the bag again, no beep, and told her we had no electronics, Julie wasn't letting it up. We said "Julie has been stalking us our entire checkout experience" where Shandi the manager said, "we don't stalk here, sorry you feel that way" and started walking away while Julie made a rude face smile and waved at us...as if we did something wrong. We said how unprofessional and rude that was, considering she's the manager and we did absolutely nothing wrong. Mind you, self check out is still full of people. This was a horrible experience, ruined our evening all while buying legos and diapers for our kid. Shame on you Julie and Shandi.

A quick trip in for a few supplies on our work trip to the area, this Target matched most any other. Fluorescent lights, a bit dingy from patronage, relatively organized, and fair prices for staples, especially from the house brand.

Its not even 8:30 and there are ZERO cashiers usually there's one so im not sure why im surprised

Placed my order 9 hours ago.

This is probably the worst target I've ever been to. And I've been to some really bad Targets. 9 hours for them to fill my order & it's still not done. I placed it at around 12:30pm today to pick up after work at 5:30pm. It's now 9:30pm. Still not ready. This isn't the first time this has happened, but usually I just cancel the order after 4 or so hours & go get my items myself. The employees want nothing to do with you, their cosmetic section is NEVER fully stocked (or even close to it) & they added an "Ulta" that had maybe one aisle's worth of product. The employees there don't seem thrilled about it, either. The idea was awesome but the execution sucked. Not to mention the milkmaid clothing that seems to be the only option for the past year or however long. You get milkmaid, gym attire, or 12-year-old in the late 90's attire. Just awful. Target's either gone downhill or this location just really sucks.

No sign so anyone can park there

I came here 4 days ago. Handicap signs were in place. Today some clothes closest to store have been removed. This is showing to me that they are inconsiderate to handicap people. Some Target stores have do not park in wheelchair white lined spots, not this store. I see people parking in the wheelchair loading/unloading and this Target store doesn't care. Shame on them I won't return to this one. 6 signs up 4 signs removed. Shameful

Updated to have more of the department store feel. Pretty inside, just not really *Target* anymore.

I can't fault target for updating their stores. But it has made it really easy to walk out and not buy anything. Good for my wallet, maybe not so good for their bottom line. The updates are nice, upper scale. I don't think anyone has cleaned the restroom this week. The people were nice though. Pick your own battles.

A variety of sizes!

Not a terrible store. The prices are alright but could be better. I still prefer Walmart.

I've been on the prowl for this item for a while so... Nice folks there and I gather some or all of the staff is family. The quality of the furniture on display looked to be good and certainly stylish. This is not one of those high-end crazy expensive places where only the elite shop. What I saw is the sort of furniture that would fit nicely in any average middle class or young couple's place. Nice. Sturdy. Affordable. just the sort of store I would be patronizing. They are in a very easy to get to area right at 217 and hwy 99. North side of 99 just west of 217.

BOTH disabled parking spots (we have a permit) were blocked by a food truck. We were able to maneuver to get in with a wheelchair and let the salesperson know it was probably not legal to allow disabled parking spots near the door to be blocked. Reese, the salesperson said he understood and that it would be moved. We looked at bedroom furniture sets and discovered the custom made furniture that can be painted any color a customer chooses according to Reese. We liked the look but had one more store to look at before making a decision. After looking elsewhere we called Reese later that day (his phone # was now in our contacts as we were very serious about making a purchase) and spoke with him on the phone about the custom furniture. He sent us some photos of the different pieces. My wife replied by text and asked for more information....NOTHING! She texted him again and asked for more information....NOTHING! No text, no call....NOTHING! Two days later, we texted Reese and asked him to have the owner, Trent, call us. NO call. The next day, I called, got voicemail and asked Trent to call me that I had a concern I wanted to discuss. NON return call! It appears when you are at Broadway Furniture they pay attention to you, attempt to sell you furniture and are very responsive. IF you try to contact them for more information, to ask a question, or file a complaint, they ghost you and don't seem to care about you as a potential customer. Following the bad experience with Broadway Furniture, we called NW Furniture Mfg., the company that Reese had showed us their high quality furniture that we wanted to buy. NW Furniture Mfg. gave us the names of two other stores that can order custom furniture in the Portland area. We contacted one of those furniture stores, were encouraged by the salespersons professionalism and so we drove to that store. We looked at custom pieces and placed an order for a $10,000.00 bedroom set!!! (see receipt) Hopefully, next time someone asks for additional information on a product, Broadway Furniture will respond to the customer and save the sale and their reputation. Or maybe better yet, find another store who will treat you as a valued customer!

I won't be back, but glad they finally listened. Buyer beware, please! I am sorry to have to detail a customer service nightmare unfolding. This store appears to be a great place, with helpful associates and a decent selection. My experience has proven that after you've made your purchase, if there are problems, you won't be treated fairly or with respect as a customer. I have many years' experience in the past as a co-owner of a respected upholstery cleaning company and I am familiar with upholstery construction and how various fabrics hold up over time. I bought a Flexsteel recliner in August 2025 after many hours of consideration for the brand choice and especially the fabric. My sales rep seemed helpful and kind as I asked about the most durable fabric I could choose. I settled on my choice after that discussion and was told I'd made a good choice for my concern of durability. He had also mentioned in passing that some fabrics in the past from Flexsteel hadn't been durable enough and had been pulled from the lineup. I was told these recliners will last 30 years. The recliner arrived in October. Shortly after, I started seeing significant issues. 1) The chair squeaks and groans loudly when returning to a seated position; 2) the fabric started pilling heavily after only a few weeks in my home; 3) the batting is insufficient--this was confirmed by their 3rd-party repair service man who inspected the recliner in my home; 4) the interior of the piece reveals very shoddy workmanship, with stuffing coming out of unfinished seams, missing staples and lining fabric not attached where it should have been; 5) the right armrest fabric is noticeably crooked and their customer service rep insisted I try to work the fabric into place myself, which is impossible to do--I've tried. The repair man did not have tools when he entered my home and I thought he was there to assess, not actually do the repairs. He agreed there was insufficient batting in the recliner. I told him that if they are going to insist that I use a pill shaver to remove the pills every couple of weeks for the duration of owning this piece, and if I would have to accept the extra piece of 3rd-party batting he said he could stuff into the back rest (with nothing to be done, apparently, for the seat and footrest) I was not interested in keeping it and would ask for a refund of my purchase price. This recliner has failed the most basic of standards for a piece of any quality. I could have spent at least 6 times less on a disposable piece of furniture from Costco instead. Worst, I was now told by Barbara in customer service at Key Home that I have refused the rep's help and that therefore my warranty case is closed. I am now looking at taking this issue and my many photos (with metadata) and documentation to small claims court. I recommend, of course, that you shop elsewhere.

Salespeople were practically waiting at the door, clearly rotating on who would approach next. It was overwhelming right from the start. Despite the initial discomfort, we actually found a couch we liked. It came in six customizable pieces (for an additional cost), which would allow us to build exactly what we wanted. We spoke with Cesar and explained our preferences. I also asked about upcoming Labor Day promotions, and he said he'd work up a quote and email it to me within the hour. While we waited, we decided to check out another local furniture store for comparison. Two hours later, still no quote--so I called to confirm they had the correct email. I was told they were "very busy," which felt odd since there had only been one other couple in the store during our visit. I was promised the quote would be sent by the end of the day (7 PM). We ended up liking another couch at the other store, but before making a final decision, we returned to Ashley to compare one last time. Again, we were intercepted by the rotating sales team until they realized we had already worked with Cesar, who was available but still hadn't sent the quote. We were the only customers in the store for the first 5 minutes. By this point, it started to feel like numbers were being shuffled to make it look like a deal. I asked a different employee about delivery and installation, and was told it would be $119-$159. When I finally received the quote, the pieces were discounted, but the delivery charge was $229, a $359 protection plan was added without discussion, and the configuration wasn't even what we requested (which I understand--mistakes happen). I emailed back with questions, and while Cesar did "honor" the lower delivery fee we were told, it was still on the higher end. From the start, the entire experience felt less than transparent. Even though we genuinely liked the couch, the service made me uneasy. When you're spending nearly $4,000 on furniture, you want to feel confident in both the product and the people you're buying it from. Unfortunately, that just wasn't the case here.
