Entire sections of pillows in every color of the rainbow

If you are buying a new home, redecorating, replacing items or in search of a gift for someone who is, this is your store! Yes, you have to search every aisle and because of the volume of daily shoppers, that often translates to a scavenger hunt, but you can find gems! Go with an open mind, with ideas of what you want, but be open to find things that aren't on your list. This is a store that even if you don't want anything, you will find something! I have found the exact same items from other upscale stores for 1/3 the price. Le crouset serving dishes. Faux fur pillows. Canvas art. Mirrors. Italian glass vases. Faux succulent arrangements. Home decor. They have a fantastic selection of kitchen, bathroom and organizational items, all at reduced prices. Even gourmet food items, although I don't feel the price of the food items is that good of a deal. While every store looks the same, I visit all three in my area, because the selection does vary, and shifts by what others are buying. Most get a lot of traffic and are always busy. During the holidays the Store is crowded even at 9pm! The HomeGoods at Jentzen Beach is hardly ever crowded so if you go to that shopping center, visit that store. My favorite section is the art. If you go often enough, and search through the stacked frames, you will find some beautiful pieces at a steal! Just this week I found a huge abstract canvas, 60"x40" for $125. It would cost that much to ship a piece of art that size! This past week we had several snow days. That meant hardly any shoppers so the staff had time to clean the store an organize. It became a shoppers dream! Everything was in its place making it so easy to see what was available. I made several purchases! If you see something you like, buy it. You can always return it. But this store gets a steady flow of traffic and items, especially the gems, go quickly!

I even wanted this and I don't sew! Most unique one I have seen.

**WC** One of the best stores ever seriously...I almost fear coming here because I will find far too many things I just can't walk away from. I also find decorating inspiration here with plenty of gorgeous things which inspire me. I feel like they really just have such unique items and I can easily roll through the whole store. My poor husband gets stuck with the cart though but even he loves HomeGoods!

If there was one store I go to for designer brand home goods, this is IT! I almost always leave with something fabulous for my own home or staging a client's. From high-end books, pillows, and towels, to insanely discounted lamps and baskets, Homegoods prices are hard to beat. You will most definitely find something that works for your space!

Home Goods, you rock! Okay shoppers, you've got to approach this like you would shopping at Ross. You can't come in here with a specific item in mind, because their inventory is unpredictable. However, if I am looking for something specific, I know that I'll just need to visit every few weeks, and eventually it turns up. Some of my favorite purchases: decorative globe, butter tray with cover, himalayan pink salt, waterford crystal champagne glasses, quilt, nonstick pan. This is where I like to purchase most of my non-disposable home items. You've got to be willing to sort through some junk, but there are lots of gems here!

$3 dollar rule - Silver Ball thingy that I adore. Also lamp pillow met my $7 rule.

I used to shop here all the time, back when I was in a nesting and decorating phase trying to make a buck stretch while still making the home look posh. Then my kids grew up, my marriage grew over and my life changed and evolved. I don't decorate the same way as I once did, but I still find 1 or 2 really unusual things just about every damn time I come in here. Which means I have to share my weird 'rule' I have about this place that I made up in the 'lean' years - I call it the SEVEN DOLLAR RULE - if it's 7 big ones or less, I buy the damn thing even if I have no idea what I am going to do with said damn thing once I purchase it. Also, that led to the THREE DOLLAR RULE which states that even if I don't know WHAT the damn thing is, I buy it. Cases in point. I have posted photos of the $7 dollar rule ($5 pillow with a lamp on it I scored today) and the $3 dollar rule (silver balls in glass thingy I scored 6 years ago). I love Home Goods whether I'm nesting, making up wacko rules or just buying what strikes my damn fancy. (*Disclaimer: Lots of items are more than $7. I have no rules about those).

    This chair tho.

Is the Halloween decor out yet? The one on tomahawk island barely has any Halloween decor out for some reason they're always running low on things ? Does anyone know if that's the case for this location?

Yes, lotsa, but it does sell fast.

Well, due to some rent issues, they ended up in a shopping center off of NW Barnes. I happened upon it while killing time before a doctors appointment. It's still filled with charming items for your home and garden, most with an old world charm - think urns, topiaries, trailing ivy, fleur-de-lis, iron accents, rustic wood, arched frames and mirrors. Also lots of furniture from accent tables to display units, tables, chairs, desks and more. The owner is so friendly and helpful. If you are looking for ideas, seek him out! Items are unique and affordable in an array of price ranges. While this style as perfect for my previous home and garden, there aren't many items that work in my modern condo, but I purchased some gifts for friends. During the Christmas season, I bought giagantic snowflakes, candle holders and lit trees. If you used to visit this shop when they were on NW 23rd, take the quick ride out to NW Cedar Hills area and continue to support them in this new location. I fear they no longer get the foot traffic; this shop is so special, we need to keep them in business!

It was a great shop to grab a gift for my mom as she seems to love everything here. I would drop in with her after lunching at Papa Hayden's.... So you can imagine that I was happy when I stumbled on their new digs! It has the same great stuff as their old place, they have the space broken into smaller spaces and good prices on stuff. So come look around. The staff are always friendly. You know I will be back. It just makes gift buying to easy!

I love just wandering around a home store even just to get some inspiration. Anything from new cleaning stuff to an arrangement of things in my living room or how to place decorations in my garden. I also like to giggle about the trends happening. Some are smart while others are odd and can be downright tacky. I expected another Homegoods type of store and did not realize that this store is mostly a trending furniture store catered to that group that is definitely not rich but far from poor. Unlike places like Pottery Barn, that have offerings for us mere mortals with less in our bank accounts to spend on furnishings that are into the thousands, they don't have a lot of accessories here. Even a small pottery piece was $68. Looking at a lot of the items and I felt like this is where people with a bit of money go to order a room so they look like they have some style. That's not meant as an insult as their room displays really are put together nicely. Most people can't really readily afford a designer and honestly the rooms are pretty cool looking with a nice mix of traditional and some modern flair. I could easily see a person walking in and saying that they want an exact room layout and changing one of the art pieces to suit them better. Pieces are thoughtfully displayed and by the look of it it is not really a cookie cutter type of furnishing place. So, you wouldn't have a friend come over to your house, look around and go 'oh didn't I see that somewhere??'.... I was cracking up at the liberal décor using horses... which would be going into homes of people who have probably never even been on a farm, like ever... and then the pillow that said 'Real Housewives of Beaverton'... yikes.... some real WTF winners see my photos for the evidence!) during my walkthrough were the Pollack style monkey lamp for over $900... seriously, I am in the wrong line of work and need to get into making insane looking lamps!!! If you want a labradoodle that doesn't actually walk around as your dog that you can sit on then they have the chair for you. There's also giant brass mushrooms, just one half of a horse lamp or perhaps a pillow for $163 that doesn't even vibrate... they did have some pretty incredible artwork for really reasonable prices and a truly gorgeous green velvet couch.

Even if the color is wrong. Even if the product can't physically be delivered. Even if the mistake isn't yours. We purchased two couches from this Joybird store. At no point during the sales process were we told that the orders were non-returnable. When the couches arrived, one of them did not match the fabric swatch we were shown in the store. The other one never even made it into our home--the delivery team could not get it up the stairs. When we reached out to Joybird, they refused to accept a return, refused a refund, and refused to take responsibility--on either couch. Instead, they pointed us to fine print on their website about their company policies. It would be one thing if: - The sales associate had clearly explained that all orders were final. - We were pointed to explicit fine print before purchasing. - The product delivered actually matched what we were shown. But none of that happened. There are many other furniture companies that treat customers far better and stand behind what they sell. I strongly recommend choosing one of them instead.
