The bathroom was pretty messy. The trash can was overflowing, there was toilet paper and trash all over the floor, and the sanitary product receptacles were coming off of the stall walls. The store was organized, but I miss the women's clothes being on the left instead of in the middle. I know the set-ups have changed in all stores, but it's still worth mentioning. I went to this target to purchase an iPhone for my wife. I went to the electronics department and inquired about purchasing a brand new iPhone 12. I was looking to purchase this iPhone outright. I was helped by a customer service person named Ann. She was extremely rude and condescending when I inquired about purchasing a iPhone. She asked me if I was an AT&T customer and I told her I was a Verizon customer. She proceeded to tell me multiple reasons why she could not sell me an iPhone. I told her my wife purchased and iPhone for me at another target with no problem whatsoever but she continued to insist that did not happen. I asked her if she could help my by contacting another target to see if they had an iPhone in stock that I could buy but she refused to help me. I found this very frustrating and I will not visit this target store again. I wish target hired employees who actually want to help customers instead of employees who have no intention of doing anything to help customers. read more

Why does Target want me to shop at Wal-Mart? Last year Target re-arranged the Seekonk store and removed most of the signs in the aisles indicating product categories. Since then it consistently takes longer to find anything. Wal-Mart does label more of their aisles so that is where I shop now. I value my time and Target does not. read more

Target is a nationwide chain, and well, it's hard for me to give more than three stars. The Seakonk location is no exception, but it earns those three stars for providing consistent customer service (friendly, nothing over the top) and a clean and well organized store. I did experience a lady at the fitting room counter that appeared to be busy on personal calls the two times that I went up to try on clothes for a new work wardrobe. One plus was that the last time I came to this Target, they were having really good buy one, get one half off sales. Not sure if that is for this location only, but I'm sure it was probably nationwide. I always use my Red Card to get 5% off. Oh, and it looked like they were adding a Starbucks to this location. I'm giving this an update because, as a new mom, Target is a necessary evil. Bottles, bibs, toys and tubs, they have just about everything you need for you kiddo, and then some. Of all the Targets in the area, this one is by far my favorite. It's clean, there is always plenty of parking and I usually find exactly what I'm looking for. I do love that I can pick up baby-related items, laundry necessities and makeup all in the same place. Need a humidifier? Throw one in the cart. Grab that birthday card you need while you're at it, and a pack of socks, to boot. I get it now. Target is the place to go when you have 30 minutes and a million errands to run. I have yet to have an unpleasant experience at any Target store around the country. These people know what quality-seeking shoppers want. When it comes to this Target location in Seekonk, MA; the staff is genuinely helpful and happy. Aisles are well-organized and UPDATE: They just recently (March 2011 I think ?) opened a grocery store inside this Target. Oh man, it felt like I'm shopping at Whole Foods with Walmart prices! Seriously, they had everything from organic yogurts to specialty cheeses for much less than the Stop & Shop I usually do my groceries. Congrats Target team! I've been to several targets in the area & this is by far the worst. Not what I've come to expect in terms of service, speed and cleanliness. Only two registers open around 5 PM, and only three self check outs working, led to a line about twenty people deep. Items I intended to purchase were scanning in at prices not matching the signs on the pegs they were found on. This store is an overall hot mess and not at all fun to shop at. read more

I ordered something early in the morning and when I called about it the associate said it had 11 minutes! It didn't get done on time and for an order made at 6:23 am not be ready because they're so backed up is appalling! An absolute disaster. There is no longer an accessory isle. Instead they have tucked in a few accessories here and there. Mixed in with clothes etc. Obviously part of the marketing plan to get us to add on to whatever we came in for. Searched half the store for a baseball cap. Everyone knows I love target. I generally go To the one near me but I happened to be in Lincoln I made a return and it was hassle free and pleasant. I always find something to check out there. I got some great pajamas , some Easter candy , even some groceries. Prices are almost as low as Walmart without having to deal with the clientele that are there. It's nice not seeing people in pajamas when I shop ! This place has it all. Starbucks , clothes , shoes , groceries. I find the grocery prices are way less than a grocery store too. I love nature valley bars. Grocery store charges 399, target had them for 249. Score ! My Only gripe is that they are not a store where you'd find awesome service. I'm generally there a good Two hours and not one staff member said hello or offered help. It may just be my service background but that's something I expect. And the lines. Lines are long. There aren't many registers open so you will wait for sure. They will call for backup but it's usually too late. Despite the service I love the assortment and love the prices so I will continue to shop there. Just not when I'm strapped for time. read more

This is in reference to the bathroom. It was the dirtiest, most disgusting bathroom ever. There were paper towels overflowing all over the floor. It was like the place hadn't been cleaned in a long time. The floors in the stalls were dirty. Only one stall was somewhat clean but still had trash scattered. I would expect this at Wal-Mart, which is why I don't shop there but not at Target. So disappointed. Not sure I will ever go back to this location. read more

I love this Target location. It's definitely my favorite in the area. It's always clean and well-stocked and I've only had pleasant experiences with the staff. They're currently undergoing a major renovation/reorganizing, but it's fully operational during all this. In order to make the transition smoothly, they've even thought to place floor plans of the store at the front entrance. I was in here over the weekend and it seems like they're moving the aisles around to create more space for the "value" area where you can buy things like 30 packets of instant oatmeal for $6 and giant jars of peanut butter that will last 'til June. There's ample parking and the check-out process is usually pretty painless. If you're anything like me, you'll run into Target for laundry detergent and wrapping paper and leave with at least $75 worth of things you didn't even know you needed! read more

Lost receipt with Nintendo download code worth $60. Had all information to provide to store to get a reprint just for them to tell me the receipt does not re-print with the game code. I was told online I needed to return to the store I bought the game from. Target online information was wrong and In store clerk lacked any care. Told me I had to purchase another game and no refund would be given. This is a terrible business practice. More importantly, the person that checked me out did not point out the game code necessary to access the game was on the receipt. read more

I went in earlier today to return something and met a young man and woman by the name of Nathan and Madison. These two were the kindest employees of any company I have ever came in contact with. From the 2 targest I know of (warwick and this one) I much prefer this one. The popcorn is always good! I seriously don't think I have ever had to wait in a line at this target. The cashier's know how to split a bill. (Walmart can't do that!) My one and only complaint - I saw a guy at the electronics department steal an x-box item (like an expenisve one) and I told someone - and no one did anything about it! It was that day when everything was tax free. Perhaps it was expected but it upset me! But I still shop here, and pay for my items! read more

My best advice for anyone wondering if they should go to this target: don't. As a Brown student, this is the closest Target to me, but I needed some things I couldn't get locally so I made the uber trip out there. I bought a flat iron, but as soon as I got home realized that the iron in the box was not only used, but completely broken. When I attempted to return the iron, Tonya at the returns section was extremely rude to me, walking away from me as I spoke to her and even flat out ignoring me. As someone who has experience in customer service, her attitude was completely unprofessional and inappropriate, leading me to question whether her attitude was inspired by racism. I have been a Target shopper for as long as I can remember and will most likely be returning to Target in the future, but I will never in my life be returning to the Seekonk Target. Used app to let them know I was on my way and my order was in my car in seconds !!!! Store looked very busy, but I didn't even have to deal with it !!! I will be shopping like this again !!!! Target o' Target - How many trips have we made to the red and white bullseye of Target? I can't even begin to count how often Target has been part of our regular rounds of weekend shopping. Perhaps not perfect, goofy ads, but a quality chain nevertheless. WHY GO TO TARGET INSTEAD OF WALMART? Ever see the classic Star Trek episode called 'The Enemy Within' where Captain Kirk during a transformer malfunction, is split into two - one being an aggressive, bearded, brandy swilling party guy, and the other Kirk, all things gentle and quiet. Well, Target vs Walmart is kind of like that...ok maybe not exactly the best example because I always kind of admired the party guy Kirk in that episode, and this was the only way I could work in the Kirk drinking brandy reference. So forget that comparison and try this one: Ever see the BBC sitcom Keeping Up Appearances? Well, Target is kind of like the place where Hyacinth's husband Richard might go to shop for a gift for some friend of his (probably not Hyacinth), while Walmart is the kind of place where Hyacinth's sister Daisy, and Daisey's husband, Onslow would frequent to get that extra large underwear. At Target you have designer created ephemera at working class prices, all situated in a neat, clean and friendly store with best of all, wide aisles. Meanwhile, Walmart is all things opposite: crowded, clumsy, tight aisles and a little too much NASCAR merchandise for sale. Ok, to confess I may sometimes go to a Walmart for say, some cheap snacks or an extension cord, but usually Target is the preferred stop. This particular Target branch is located in Seekonk, MA / Rt. 6 which these days is a fairly busy area, although still not as jammed as the North Attelboro, MA / Rt. 1, MA or Warwick / Rt. 2 Bald Hill Rd sections as far as traffic. What's to like about this particular Target that makes it unique? Well, the plaza it's located in has a Best Buy (again not as good as the Warwick or Attelboro Best Buy stores); a Kohl's (these days a great place for really good sales which reminds me of the now gone Filene's); a Home Goods for low priced uh, home goods; a GameStop; and a Showcase Cinema. There are a few more decent food options in this area of Seekonk then you will find in North Attelboro, such as Vinnie T's or the great Portuguese restaurants you'll find over in neighboring East Providence. Actually, Richard might go over to Home Goods where he can get some beautiful porcelain china for Hyacinth at a sixth of the original price, but that's for a different review... read more

I give this location 4 stars. I think that they make a valiant effort to make the store is presentable as possible. I think they have an awesome makeup department, and it's always on point. I love that they have the expanded food section. It gives a nice alternative to fast food in the area, when you looking for something quick to eat. I nearly always find the what I want and the Seekonk store is our Target of choice - due to the fact that the Seekonk location is one - close to home, two - is in MA (sorry RI) and three - and most important for shopping purchases has recycled products in its paper (towels,napkins TP) selection. (I'm looking at you Warwick and Attleboro locations). My main complaint - nearly always buy something not in the list - oh Target. You are crafty. read more

I've had my credit card number stolen 3 times in the last 2 years, all 3 times by Target, and this is the only Target that I ever go to. There are giant charges (between $750 and $1000) that just show up on my credit card a month or two after I go there that specifically say that they're from Target. If you have to go here, use cash, but I'd just avoid them altogether. read more

Even though they opened a brand new clean and shiny Target in my town last year, this is my go-to Target. The prices are lower, selections are better, etc. The store is usually very clean and the staff friendly. The one thing that makes me crazy though is that they never have an express line open at checkout. I run in here for one of two items so often and always have to wait in longer lines. read more

I love this Target and find myself there at least once a week to pick up basic grocery items (bananas, yogurt, frozen veggies, etc.). The store is quiet, clean, uncluttered, and the associates are pretty friendly. Checkout is a breeze too as I never find myself behind more than 2-3 people at one time. This target is pretty good. Always clean and huge. Obviously having a 2yr old his favorite aisles are the endless toy aisles lol. While mom enjoys the prices in the clothing dept. you get a great bargain on jeans and shoes. No seriously you can buy an outfit with shoes for under $80 adults and under $40 for children which this day in age is hard to do at the mall. They also have a great freezer section with fresh meats. The fruit is good however goes bad within a few days so watch for that. I've tried their chicken and steak for last min dinners. Not bad tasty needs seasoning but good for last min meals. They have everything from buttons to DVDs, sneakers to chips and always a holiday section in the back right corner of store. Sometimes it's over whelming with people shopping and gets stuffy especially on weekends and end of November-Dec so I try to stay clear because the checkout lines are super long and people behind you get tiffy waiting for you to unload your carriage. Prices are decent in my option and things last longer then most stores that start with a W lol read more

I've been to a few other locations and this one is by far the best!! I did have trouble with 1 rude associate, but usually they customer service is extremely friendly! The beauty section is to die for :) they have all the products I could want lol they are a tad bit pricey, but 97% of the time I go in and find exactly what I'm looking for! Oh, and to make my experience that much better, they sell my favorite smoothies in the Cafe (Jamba Juice) can't get any better than that!!! read more

I think this is the one that is closest to Providence even though it is out of the state. It takes little time driving there. I need to highlight that they have a huge collection of travele size shampoo/body wash (and other essentials under that category), which is one of the market's huge strengths. The staff are all very helpful. The restrooms are quite clean and there are enough rooms in the event of more people. However the CD collection is a little bit poor, there should have been more CDs IN STORE (not just online), especially TARGET only edition. read more

I love Target, but I avoid having to exchange or return any times there. I went there to exchange mascara I had bought a couple days prior because I grabbed the wrong color by accident. I had my receipt, but the associate insisted that it wasn't on my receipt and she couldn't do the exchange. 1. I HAD MY RECEIPT THAT SAID COVERGIRL MASCARA RIGHT ON IT! 2. All I wanted to do was an even exchange. What's the big deal?? But no, she wanted my ID so she could give me store credit and I would have to rebuy the mascara. That is such a pain in the ass and she wasn't even nice about it either. I'm a customer service manager and I work at a customer service desk every day. I would never give a customer such a hard time over an even exchange. Especially if they had a receipt. I understand that stores have their policies, but come on.. what kind of customer service is that? read more

As a new mom I never knew how much I needed target!! Its my one stop shopping!!! Baby formula, diapers, wipes, toys, clothes and household things as well! Overall, they are clean and organized. There has been a few times where there was no formula on the shelf! I have had a bad experience, no horrible experience with an employee while checking out. The manager contacted me however nothing was done besides an apology on his behalf. This girl is notorious for being rude to customers. Other than that I love this place! read more
