This location is always my go-to, one-stop shop target store since it's near my house and items I am there to purchase are always in stock. Tonight was a weird experience for me as I was shopping for duffle bags for my weekend trip. I had a couple, big duffle bags in my cart as I am shopping for other travel and home items. Then I got lured into looking at pretty artificial plants at the in the new home brand set up towards middle/back of the store. While I was choosing from different succulent plants, I notice a tall hispanic guy observing me from the corner of the other half aisle. I am usually bold, so I stare back and be pretends to look away. As I continue to shop in that area, he continues to "observe" me, then moments later, he literally runs down the other aisle. People are bored these days, so my thought was like wtf,okayyy, whatever. I went to pay for my travel and home items. I exit the target store and as I am pulling out, I see the same hispanic guy walking back into the store with their target security guy. I soon come to the realization that the tall hispanic guy was frkn watching me in the store to see if I was shoplifting. I bet that is what it was. I mean what other reason can it be other than he was a creep. But, he obviously works for target with security. Uhhh...just because I was shopping for big duffle bags, doesn't mean I was stuffing that shit was stolen goods. What a disappointing discovery as I exited the target lot. I'll take my ass the distance to go to the laguna target from now on so I can spend my $100 in peace. Disappointed. This is just your typical Target. It's got all the stuff as a normal Target except that it's the only one within a 10 mile radius. So yes, that means lots of people, little parking and long lines. Other than that, It's just another Target read more

Great place to shop with less traffic meaning its not too crowded. I hate shopping at places that are filled with people pushing, shoving things and people around (Walmart). I love that this place is clean, easy access to things and great service. I had one cashier helped me save money by using some of the coupons on the items I bought and the coupons I have on hands which I didn't know I can combine them together to make the items cheaper. She also introduced me to coupon apps etc. which is helpful because I'm trying to do this coupon thing and budget. Overall, this place is cool even though it doesn't have a Starbucks like other target but they do have Pizza Hut. read more

They need to pick up the trash in the parking lot and clean off all the food and candy stuck on the ground. A lot of boxes of the merchandise are damaged or have been opened. The shelves are in disarray and have items, from other departments, that don't belong there. The employees walk by and won't look you in the eye hoping that you don't ask them for help. Service is a joke there, literally, as they stand around joking with each other having a jolly-ol-time. I'd fire them all from the janitor all the way up to the manager. read more

I go to target to avoid the ratchet ness & rude customer service at Walmart. So far all the target employees have been great to me, except yesterday at this location. I usually never come to this location because of the neighborhood right over (center parkway) but I was at Cosumnes river college so I stopped by after class. So I'm at self check out on 3/1/18 roughly 7:15-7:30pm. If you roll back your cameras you'll see me in a long black pea coat & scrubs so anyways I walked up to a African American employee at self check out, she had her back turned to the customers I said " excuse me can I have a bag please?" She ignores me. I said it again "excuse me can I have a bag please?" She said "I heard you don't you see me doing something hold on!" Whoa, so I said "ok" then like 20 seconds of standing behind her cause mind you she never looked at me or even turned my way so I never got her name tag, she says "you can just get it yourself, it's right behind me" I said"just grab it are you sure?" She said "yes" so I got it & went about my way. She had her back turned against me the whole time I was talking. I come to target to avoid these kind of employees that work at Walmart but I see this target location hires rude people. I'll just take my business elsewhere. Btw hope a manager reads this. I just love Target, I mean who doesn't? Clean store to buy a variety of items. I feel like by now everyone pretty much has their own opinion of it so there's not much to say other than this location in particular being cleaner and not as busy as the one in Laguna. There also seems to be a lot more in stock here. read more

I used to frequent this store 3 or 4 times a week. But now that I can only spend cash there due to their credit card security breach, my visits are down to once or twice a month. What a shame, I really enjoy shopping here. read more

This is a great store. I go to the pharmacy often to pick up up my mom's prescriptions, the staff in the pharmacy is always friendly, never had a bad experience with them. The only complaint I have about this location is that one day while shopping a guy was riding a bike in the store. Not testing the bike to buy, riding his own personal bike. He almost ran into the cart I was pushing with my son in it, almost hit a few employees and no one said anything to him. I saw him ride by several employees and not one person said anything to him. One response we got when we said something about it to a female employee, was If security doesn't care I don't care. What next someone gonna drive a motorcycle through there. read more

The prices are no bargain. Household cleaners, paper products, beauty supplies all seem on the high end. Same with the food; there are not enough choices. I once purchased a top that fell apart after one washing. There's not enough choices in Plus Size clothing for women. Worst of all is the pharmacy, but I guess that would be a separate review under CVS. Wait times are often long; one pharmacist in particular was very rude. They run out of a certain medication and don't even bother to try to get it for you at a different location.Stay away from the pharmacy and avoid extreme aggravation! read more

It's a busy Target and can be messy as well. The service is ok. Their inventory is generally in stock but it does move quickly.

This target is a bit larger than the one on laguna. They seem to have a bigger selection of merchandise, but their food court seems a bit lacking with a missing starbucks. BUt regardless, whenever i'm looking for something the laguna target doesn't have, i come here next (only b/c i live closer to the laguna one). The only gripe i have is that i wish they had more trees for shade on those hot summer days... but that has nothing to do with the store inside... and they do have a HUGE parking lot. :) read more

I bought a Linksys Wireless adapter at another Target and when i got it from it was broken so I decided to return it to the nearest Target which was this one. When I tried to return it they refused to accept it even though I had the receipt. Why? Well When it rang up it said "Belkin" which owns Linksys and Cisco. The Box was labeled as a Linksys product, but the actual product in it had a Cisco logo on it. The associate got her manager and didn't even know what was going on with it or why it was ringing up a Belkin product with a Linksys box. She got her LP lady and they went to the electronics department to get the same product. They opened their product and theirs happened to have Linksys on the Wireless adaptor instead of Cisco. They told me they would not accept my return even though I had my receipt because they said someone did a switch-a-roo and told me to go to the Target I got it from and have them check cameras. It is terrible that these people do not even know their own products that they are selling. If you are a manger you should know how to handle these situations if you don't know about your product ask someone who you hired that knows about it. This target is cleaner than most of the ones I've been to. The merchandise are usually stocked and they have a decent selection of items. Reason why I give this store 3 stars is because the front lead is extremely rude. As a couponer, I make sure I know the coupon policy for every store I go to just in case the cashiers doesn't know what they're doing. Today was the first time I ever got rejected for my manufacture coupon. The coupon was able to scan in the register, but the front lead (GSA) (5'7 short hair female with glasses) void the transaction because she thinks my MANUFACTURE coupon wasn't legit. I told her this coupon is valid and I even brought up the coupon policy. She tried to correct me so I ended up calling the corporate. Corporate honored my coupon and even talk to the front lead, but once she hung up, the lead decide to decline the coupon AGAIN. I asked to speak to the manager but she rejected my request. I stormed out because I literally spent 45minutes of my life with someone who is rude and unprofessional. She even gave me an attitude and even rolled her eyes at me! Eventually I called the store manager once I got home and told her the entire situation and she even said she'll honor the coupon and apologized. Personally, it's not about the coupon, but it's the way the team lead treated me. As an Army Veteran she's lucky I was so calm with her. This target will be my last option. I never thought ill ever say this, But I'll rather chose Walmart on Elk Grove blvd than this place. read more

In the war between Target and Wal-Mart retail stores, I pledge my loyalty to wal-Mart. This target location is extremely close to my residence but I pass by in favor of our nation's largest retailer which is another 5 miles away. When I'm asked "why not target?" my reply has always been that the blue signage and "rollback" prices lead me to believe that I'm receiving the best deal by shopping with Wal-Mart. This target location has proven to be useful as many of my friends have registered gift ideas for baby showers, weddings, and housewarming. I appreciate the cleanliness of the store both inside and out, and I find the staff to believe courteous, and efficient. While my" retail allegiance" remains with Wal-Mart I can appreciate the service, standards , and quality of the product carried by target. read more

So my daughter and I went to Target yesterday to pick her up some jeans. These have been her go to for years. Mossimo have always fit her really well and are made fairly well. They have a new brand, limited styles available and the stuff was garbage. I was really disappointed in Target. You use to be able to spend a chunk of change on tee shirts, handbags and shoes. All of the above is their new brand with is cheaply made. I have never gotten out of that store for under $150.00, yesterday we bought 2 pairs of flip flops and rubbing alcohol. Well I guess that is one credit card I can retire. This will now be the last store we go to until they reconsider this new brand. Plus this one is close to my office, so if I'm having a hellacious day at work I can come here at lunch and get some much-needed retail therapy. I been here many times, as I go to CRC which is not too far from the school. A few blocks. Easy and convenient when I need something from Target, I would go and drop by to get something. Target is a good place to go when walmart is over crowded. The store is much cleaner vs walmart on elk grove. The prices are a little more but it's worth not having people bump into you and bad service with the workers. read more

We shop at Target on Cosumnes River Blvd at least twice a month. This location is always well stocked and a lot cleaner than the other locations we've been to. We've never had any issues locating an employee if we have questions and they all seem genuinely friendly. Plenty of registers open to check you out even in the busy season. read more

Honestly if I could just leave a 5 star for Lina/Linda at register 9 I would! She's awesome, amazing, cheerful and so helpful! If every associate was half of her I would drive from West Sac just to shop here. Esperanza, at guest services, was the exact opposite. She was overal slightly rude to customers before me. When it was my term a dvd rung up $12.99 even though it was posted in the dvd section title and priced at $5. She didn't even offer to have anyone look she just said "sorry someone probably stuck it there" I stated there was more than one. Shrug. So when I decided I did want it she called someone in electronics and asked me to step aside. I did so nicely no problem. I heard it confirmed on the walker what I said was true (mind you I was really nice to her as I work retail and understand how it goes sometimes) the person said to honor it and apologize to the guest. I kid you not she didn't say a word to me just rung me up and handed me my change as if it was my fault that someone had marked them wrong. Someone needs some customer service training ASAP. She honestly made me feel as if I was stealing a $5 dvd and hadn't just spent $350 there. read more
