This target is my general target that i do go. Its very convienent for me since its about a half mile away from my home. The staff here are generally nice and helpful. Come here during the non rush hour times because the intersection here is very very busy because of CRC being across the street. The parking lot is sized okay but can get busy and crowded at times. Matt assisted me with a return on Saturday, February 6. I wasn't sure about trying to return some Philips wireless headphones since I purchased them two days after Christmas and the policy on electronics is 30 days. But it was just recently that they stopped working, so I figured I would go in and see if anything would result in some sort of satisfactory outcome. Matt was great and said I could choose another pair of headphones and while I did not find a wireless pair, I was able to get store credit for the difference in amounts. Incredible service from Ricky at the tech counter!!! I was browsing some games for the PS4 and the one I wanted, I needed an employees help because it was under lock and key. So I went to the counter and I wasn't the first in line, so I as waiting for a bit (not a big deal), Ricky recognized this, and made sure I knew someone would be with me shortly. Under the stress of a busy counter he kept his cool and tailored to each persons individual needs. And from his own experience with the merchandise, he was effectively recommending me new things to try and awesome things the store could offer me. I wish I could give more stars. Today was my first day as a Shipt shopper and I went to two Target stores today. One on Sunrise and this one. The two stores are like night and day. The one on Sunrise was barely had any crew members on the floor was hard to find assistance but ended up finding assistance after a few minutes. Went to the Cosumnes store next and had to ask for some assistance and was given assistance finding flowers right away. Forgot her name but she was amazing. During the trip my phone started to get low and I asked Jackie where the portable batteries were and she showed them to me and offered to let me charge my phone there. Yes, you have a far better selection of clothing sizes, and I appreciate the both the layout of your store, and how close it is to my house. Target is my ultimate favorite store for everything! It's a cleaner, classier version of walmart. I love coming here not just to shop but just walk around and browse at stuff. Not only do they have quality household, food, skin care products but I love their apparel and shoes too! (which I cannot say about Walmart) They have every department from food to electronics. I love that target usually has Starbucks and some other fast food restaurant inside. (this one doesn't have Starbucks but they have pizza hut and there's a Starbucks in the same plaza) i know this sounds strange but I love the smell most targets have, that sweet popcorn smell, just makes me feel all warm inside haha All this target needs is more produce for groceries and I may commit all my trips to just this store :) read more

Thank goodness this Target was built, esp at this location since it's close to my house. I hate going to wal-Mary because of the environment and crowdedness. You do get what you pay for. Staff is great and I only go to Target if I cannot find a Family Dollar or Wal-Mart. This location is huge and was down the street from a blow out bar I happened on Sunday. The parking lot was full of carts and they need to hire someone that will take care of this for them. I went here to find a toilet cleaner and had to ask 2 clerks. Neither knew where they were. Finally, a customer told me to go look by the detergents and I would have a lot of choices in toilet cleaners. He was right and thank goodness! I had some cleaning to do. I also had some detergent to buy and other household items. Target is pricey but it is also very convenient. I was able to get what I needed and the manager made sure that I got into a line that was short. Go Target! read more

Bullseye! My collections of target dogs are growing. Well I only have two but that's a start! This is a great place to shop for your every day use. The Up & Up brand is almost equivalent to the brand name items but at a more Eco-friendly price. I've been to almost all of the targets in Sacramento with an exception of a few. I will admit, this store is cleaner than a lot of other targets. It does get very crowded due to the surrounding businesses and schools. The location is very convenient because it's located right off the freeway and visible. The produce section is always up to par. Because target now accepts ebt, a lot of the merchandise tends to run low. I've made many people go to Target as their one stop shop which has made me very happy because now I have shopping buddies any time of the day...or night! read more

This target seems to be better stocked than others and is decidedly cleaner (the bathrooms are great). They're usually pretty good about having enough registers open. I sometimes have issues getting the attention of whoever is currently in electronics but in other areas of the store I'm frequently asked if I need anything. There was another reviewer that said she has issues with using coupons at this location, but I think I understand why. This Target is in close proximity to the South Sac area and may be more susceptible to scam attempts. I have been in line and witnessed a customer trying to pull a fast one on the cashier, so I find it understandable if this particular location adheres to a strict policy. That being said, this store is very well kept considering the location and I've never had any problems here. read more

Target needs to step up their game in the online ordering because I was unable to change my address and credit info, so after half hour I gave up and looked elsewhere and actually found a better bargain at Walmart. Not only that, because of the delay in doing this, I lost out on my 20% discount because 12:00 AM came and I lost it. So very frustrated! This Target has great customer service. I did my baby registry through Target (NIGHTMARE), but that's not this location's fault. The girl at customer service did everything she could to help me out. Corporate is the one I have the issues with! I was surprised though to find out from the BOE that they are, in fact, within the incorporated city limits and charge 8.5% tax. It is a bit of a pain to get out of the parking lot though. You must exit on the North end due to construction. read more

This review is on behalf of a family relative's experience: Personally, I've had nothing but good experiences at this target. Yesterday. however, a close family relative had a very poor experience while in the customer service counter. In short, my relative purchased an Office 365 card. The number was invalid and on the receipt a 30 day return notice is printed at the end. When my relative went to return it the woman behind customer service (described as a white lady with blond hair) was very rude. At one point my relative asked if she could simply exchange it and the woman behind the counter said, "I don't care what you do, you can't return this." After bringing in two higher ups and having the woman in customer calling Microsoft to get to the bottom of it, the manager read the receipt FINALLY and said the store has to return it as it says so directly on the receipt. My relative did not get an apology after the return. To be honest I am very disappointed in this store. It has significantly changed my opinion on this Target. read more

Just got my first phone bill for a phone that I don't even have and was supposedly deactivated. Had to call AT&T to cancel the charges. DO NOT by a phone from target. The older manager that has been at this location forever is the reason I will no longer purchase anything from this Target. His demeanor towards the guest in his store is completely based on his own preconceived notions. He says no without any basis. He prefers to complicate easy transactions. Without a doubt he is not meant to be in customer service. This store reflects his lack there of leadership ability. He is angry and in thoughtful. Promotions are not honored by him.. passports are not excepted by him as a form of ID for beer and wine. He does not read the fine print in coupons he just decides not to except. He limits one gift card for each of his gift card rewarded purchases. He doesn't allow cartwheel and coupon mixed purchases. This list goes on. I feel worse for this employees than I do for my experiences within this location. I'm not wasting my time there ever again. read more

I like the fact that this Target is near by and not busy like Walmart. The only reason I give it a 3 star is because of their dining area. I usually come for the breadsticks but I don't even want to sit down most of the time because it's almost never cleaned. Leftovers from customers are never thrown away and crumbs are left on the tables. I'm not blaming the associates because I always see just one person working behind the counter so I blame the management for not keeping the dining area in shape. read more

Ok, I have officially had enough of this location today. I don't know what the hell is wrong with some of the employees that they hire. If I could have given them 0 stars, I would have. I went in earlier today to pick up a few things. When I had gotten in line to pay for my items (a total of 4), there was one person ahead of me. And he had forgotten his wallet. So the 2 items that he had were left on the belt instead of promptly moved out of the way. The cashier rudely told me to hand her my items. I would have been more than willing to wait the 30 seconds that it would have taken her to move them. After she scanned my items, she proceeded to scan the previous customers items. When I told her that they weren't mine, she gave me a nasty snotty look and was made some comment under her breath about me not putting a divider thing down and what not. I just let that slide. When I was entering my pin number to pay, I noticed that she had pulled her cell phone out and was in the middle of responding to a text. When I started to say something about it, she lowered the phone to under the counter so that it would below my view. When I was on the way out of the store, a manager happened to be standing by the door, and when I mentioned it to him, he just blew it off like it wasn't a big deal. Like it's a normal, part of the job type thing. Never shopping at this location again. read more

I've never had an issue here with items or customer service. This place is clean, has plenty of lighting, and lots of merchandise. It may be more expensive than Walmart but at least the store is well taken care of. The women clothing section isn't too bad either. Lots of cute stuff every now and then. Same with shoes. read more

This target is my least favorite and for many reasons. It is always a mess, everything is unorganized and out of this place (Walmart is more organized and that's sayin somethin!), prices are different from receipt vs the tag, and my main concern LOSS PREVENTION. Excuse my language but loss prevention gives no FUCKS, they will follow you and profile you if you're browsing for too long and that's "suspicious". I'm a very long browser I like to take my time shopping and the fact that I get followed every time I come here is irritating, especially because I basically blow all my money at target. Normally I don't bother reviewing big chain stores because they're largely the same, but this store is so horrible I feel compelled to warn people. First off, the store is trashed, and I mean TRASHED. It looked as if the store had been vandalized, that's how bad it was. There were actually people snapping pictures of the mess and sending it to people. Half of the clothes aren't on hangers, just piled all over the floor, spilling out onto the aisles, with dirty shoe prints and cart tracks on them. None of the shoes were shelved, boxes were just emptied out all over the floor, and people were crouched down going through the piles to find what they wanted. I tried to find a matching pair but got sick of digging through mounds of shoes. Hardly anything was matched up or organized. The whole junior's section looked like one big clearance rack. All I wanted was a pair of shorts, because they were supposedly on sale, but there were basically no shorts- just a few pairs in unusual sizes mixed with random other clothes. The fitting rooms were the same- no attendant and piles of clothes and hangers all over the floor. I've never experienced anything like this at Target, but I know I'll never be returning to this location. The clerk was also super rude and refused to honor a promotion after I spent nearly an hour hunting for shorts in my size. read more

What can i say? It's just your regular and average Target, but i can tell you this, though, it is better than the one in Laguna. I always find the things i need from here, so no complaints there. Horrible target experience the manager with the short hair is so rude. I had pants that were on clearance that came up at a higher price then what was on the sticker. She instead of giving it to me at the sticker price decided to rip off the sticker and let me know that I had it wrong and that it was the higher price as she walked away.
