Matt assisted me with a return on Saturday, February 6. I wasn't sure about trying to return some Philips wireless headphones since I purchased them two days after Christmas and the policy on electronics is 30 days. But it was just recently that they stopped working, so I figured I would go in and see if anything would result in some sort of satisfactory outcome. Matt was great and said I could choose another pair of headphones and while I did not find a wireless pair, I was able to get store credit for the difference in amounts. I mean, who couldn't use money for Target anyways, right? In short? Matt was a great representative of customer service! read more

This was a horrible experience especially during the COVID-19. Trying to go in and out of a store without much contact was almost impossible. The cashier was rude. She did not acknowledge her customers who were waiting in line due to her being distracted talking to another employee who was off the clock checking out at the cash registered. Touching and talking about their "NEW IPHONES and NEW IWATCH sires 5 " was more important than helping her customers. The worst part was, the store was closing in 30 minutes and yet she took 5 min talking to her coworker about the new stuff her coworker had purchased. The cashier rung up my items but she was too busy talking to her friend that she did not notice the screen to checkout had froze so my credit card was not going thru, so I asked her if there was something wrong. She then turn to look that the card was not going thru. Finally after 5 minutes of their conversation, she stared paying attention. she voided my things and rung me up again, this time she ran them too fast I did not get a chance to put in my phone number for my rewards. So I asked her if she could bring up that screen again so I can apply my phone number. She replied "are you sure you want to type in your number because i'll have to voided it again and ring it up one more time?" I told her yes, because my purchase was about $100 dollars! Sad to say, doing her job was not her priority while target is paying her to do her job. Conversing with her coworker on the clock was more important than helping the 3 customer standing in her line. read more

Ordered an item online that was guaranteed to be ready in two hours. Two hours later I received an email stating that it no longer was available and asked for me to review other shipping options. When I clicked to see these "other shippng options" I received an automatic response stating it would be shipped to my address and won't be here until Dec. 31... way past Christmas when I need it! I tried to cancel the order all together, but the system stated it is already in shipping process and will have to be returned in the store. I do a lot of online orders with same day pick up and this is my first time having and issue like this where shipping option changed without my ability to cancel. The product is still posted online as available for pick up today. Wish they would have let me cancel the order so I didn't have to return it as I will be finding another store to purchase it from before Christmas. Very frustrating. read more

Had the worst experience at Target today at this location. Was already having a crazy day and the customer service was lacking very much. Definitely disappointed. read more

This place has gone down hill. I get you have under paid staff and keep the workforce low but come on! Clean the place up. The men's department is just random piles of clothing thrown everywhere. Open boxes and packages shoved back on top of racks. I expect this from Walmart but target is usually friendly and clean. Very disappointing. read more

Ricardo from tech is the goat. I needed to change out my gate-opener batteries and he helped me out with finding the right ones and changing them out for me. We both struggled to get a screw driver to open it and even put it back together but this dude really spent 5 mins to put it back. thank you so much couldn't have done it w/o you!!! someone give him a raise read more

Today I went to pick up a drive up order only to have it screwed up again. There is absolutely no quality control of the GM is not there. Once again Amanda was left in charge and once again she felt it necessary to behave in a completely unacceptable unprofessional manner. No one ever answers the phone, the only way to get through is to go through electronics or HR. I told them I needed my soap replaced as the one they gave me was open. Amanda brought another open soap to my car along with a $10 gift card for the inconvenience. She was illegally recording me while I was in the stall as well as when I drove out of the parking lot. This is illegal in the state of CA without permission. She deserves to be fired immediately for her behavior. I'm sure the outside cameras can confirm what happened at around 9:32am on 5/25. Please check the cameras along the sidewalk next to the parking lot. I did not give her permission to record me and my minor children. The store manager needs to start holding her employees accountable for their atrocious behavior. read more

Target - This morning at this target used toothbrushes hanging in the aisle for sale.. read my review! - Department Stores Near Me - Sacramento, California

Dear Target on Consumnes River Blvd, I'm really struggling with the relationship you and I have built. Yes, you have a far better selection of clothing sizes, and I appreciate the both the layout of your store, and how close it is to my house. Alas... the fact that, on Friday and Saturday evenings at 5:00 PM, you only have two registers open, and lines longer than that waiting outside of a Tool concert... is continuously making it difficult for me to be with you. You simply NEED more support at that time. The last three times I've come to visit you... I've waited in line for OVER 25 minutes. God forbid someone has more than 4 coupons... because there goes another register. PLEASE REVIEW YOUR STAFFING. Thanks. (Pssst... this isn't really a letter. It's definitely a review.) read more

Target is my ultimate favorite store for everything! It's a cleaner, classier version of walmart. I love coming here not just to shop but just walk around and browse at stuff. Not only do they have quality household, food, skin care products but I love their apparel and shoes too! (which I cannot say about Walmart) They have every department from food to electronics. I love that target usually has Starbucks and some other fast food restaurant inside. (this one doesn't have Starbucks but they have pizza hut and there's a Starbucks in the same plaza) i know this sounds strange but I love the smell most targets have, that sweet popcorn smell, just makes me feel all warm inside haha All this target needs is more produce for groceries and I may commit all my trips to just this store :) read more

After shopping at Walmart recently I'm Elk Grove And shopping at the other Target off of Laguna I began to be more appreciative for this Target. Thank you for keeping hold products and where I don't have to push a button to buy soap amd have $3.47 behind a counter waiting for me in the front like the Walmart in Elk Grove. To carry brands that Walmart carry. I recently paid $33 for sumblock which I'm happy you guys sold because it was for the face and I've had friends who bought sumblock for the face and their face brick out even for sensitive skin. The two things that you could improve on is lighting in front of store. Too many times I drove up and seen people who probably shouldn't be hanging out in the parking lot only to be leaving the store and seeing the police out. Had their been security maybe then those people wouldn't have been around to get arrested in the back parking lot of your store. The other thing is make your Starbucks carry blonde espresso. Lol J/K but true. I can't shop and get my usual without having t stop at the Starbucks outside of Target. read more

Thank goodness this Target was built, esp at this location since it's close to my house. I hate going to wal-Mary because of the environment and crowdedness. You do get what you pay for. The service is good, price is like any other target. I just love how much quieter it is than the wal-marts in elk grove and south sac. read more

My go-to Target location even though I live closer to the Laguna location. It feels cleaner and my T-Mobile reception can actually survive in here. I think from growing up around this area, I learned to love shopping at Target since it's one of the only places open late (11PM!). read more

Incredible service from Ricky at the tech counter!!! I was browsing some games for the PS4 and the one I wanted, I needed an employees help because it was under lock and key. So I went to the counter and I wasn't the first in line, so I as waiting for a bit (not a big deal), Ricky recognized this, and made sure I knew someone would be with me shortly. Under the stress of a busy counter he kept his cool and tailored to each persons individual needs. And from his own experience with the merchandise, he was effectively recommending me new things to try and awesome things the store could offer me. Incredibly tough nowadays to see such peak service from anyone in customer service and Ricky puts many to shame. Hope to see Ricky there again when I return. read more

I wish I could give more stars. Today was my first day as a Shipt shopper and I went to two Target stores today. One on Sunrise and this one. The two stores are like night and day. The one on Sunrise was barely had any crew members on the floor was hard to find assistance but ended up finding assistance after a few minutes. Went to the Cosumnes store next and had to ask for some assistance and was given assistance finding flowers right away. Forgot her name but she was amazing. During the trip my phone started to get low and I asked Jackie where the portable batteries were and she showed them to me and offered to let me charge my phone there. I really appreciated their help especially with this being my first day with Shipt. read more

This place is still open but under construction. Looks like they are adding a produce section. I go to this Target every so often. I think it's just like any other Target basically a step up from Wal-Mart. read more

Staff is great and I only go to Target if I cannot find a Family Dollar or Wal-Mart. This location is huge and was down the street from a blow out bar I happened on Sunday. The parking lot was full of carts and they need to hire someone that will take care of this for them. I went here to find a toilet cleaner and had to ask 2 clerks. Neither knew where they were. Finally, a customer told me to go look by the detergents and I would have a lot of choices in toilet cleaners. He was right and thank goodness! I had some cleaning to do. I also had some detergent to buy and other household items. Target is pricey but it is also very convenient. I was able to get what I needed and the manager made sure that I got into a line that was short. Go Target! read more

I like how the entrance and exit is in the same area.. because you either park near the entrance or the exit.. or gardening. The newer locations like this one-- solved. The entrance and exit are next to each other. read more

Bullseye! My collections of target dogs are growing. Well I only have two but that's a start! This is a great place to shop for your every day use. The Up & Up brand is almost equivalent to the brand name items but at a more Eco-friendly price. I've been to almost all of the targets in Sacramento with an exception of a few. I will admit, this store is cleaner than a lot of other targets. It does get very crowded due to the surrounding businesses and schools. The location is very convenient because it's located right off the freeway and visible. The produce section is always up to par. Because target now accepts ebt, a lot of the merchandise tends to run low. I've made many people go to Target as their one stop shop which has made me very happy because now I have shopping buddies any time of the day...or night! read more

Target - This is disgusting!! Please let this reach management. This is not okay. I'm not buying the food here anymore. - Department Stores Near Me - Sacramento, California

This target seems to be better stocked than others and is decidedly cleaner (the bathrooms are great). They're usually pretty good about having enough registers open. I sometimes have issues getting the attention of whoever is currently in electronics but in other areas of the store I'm frequently asked if I need anything. There was another reviewer that said she has issues with using coupons at this location, but I think I understand why. This Target is in close proximity to the South Sac area and may be more susceptible to scam attempts. I have been in line and witnessed a customer trying to pull a fast one on the cashier, so I find it understandable if this particular location adheres to a strict policy. That being said, this store is very well kept considering the location and I've never had any problems here. read more

I choose this target over the Laguna location because it continues to be less crowded and usually has friendly and helpful employees. You must download the Target Cartwheel app (free). Recently I was purchasing a TV, and the electronics worker informed me that I could save 10% through Cartwheel. Score! read more

This Target has great customer service. I did my baby registry through Target (NIGHTMARE), but that's not this location's fault. The girl at customer service did everything she could to help me out. Corporate is the one I have the issues with! I was surprised though to find out from the BOE that they are, in fact, within the incorporated city limits and charge 8.5% tax. It is a bit of a pain to get out of the parking lot though. You must exit on the North end due to construction. read more

Target needs to step up their game in the online ordering because I was unable to change my address and credit info, so after half hour I gave up and looked elsewhere and actually found a better bargain at Walmart. Not only that, because of the delay in doing this, I lost out on my 20% discount because 12:00 AM came and I lost it. So very frustrated! However, I found a better deal at Walmart and had a MUCH easier time inputting my address and credit card Info. Sorry target - you're lagging behind. read more

This review is on behalf of a family relative's experience: Personally, I've had nothing but good experiences at this target. Yesterday. however, a close family relative had a very poor experience while in the customer service counter. In short, my relative purchased an Office 365 card. The number was invalid and on the receipt a 30 day return notice is printed at the end. When my relative went to return it the woman behind customer service (described as a white lady with blond hair) was very rude. At one point my relative asked if she could simply exchange it and the woman behind the counter said, "I don't care what you do, you can't return this." After bringing in two higher ups and having the woman in customer calling Microsoft to get to the bottom of it, the manager read the receipt FINALLY and said the store has to return it as it says so directly on the receipt. My relative did not get an apology after the return. To be honest I am very disappointed in this store. It has significantly changed my opinion on this Target. read more

Ok, I have officially had enough of this location today. I don't know what the hell is wrong with some of the employees that they hire. If I could have given them 0 stars, I would have. I went in earlier today to pick up a few things. When I had gotten in line to pay for my items (a total of 4), there was one person ahead of me. And he had forgotten his wallet. So the 2 items that he had were left on the belt instead of promptly moved out of the way. The cashier rudely told me to hand her my items. I would have been more than willing to wait the 30 seconds that it would have taken her to move them. After she scanned my items, she proceeded to scan the previous customers items. When I told her that they weren't mine, she gave me a nasty snotty look and was made some comment under her breath about me not putting a divider thing down and what not. I just let that slide. When I was entering my pin number to pay, I noticed that she had pulled her cell phone out and was in the middle of responding to a text. When I started to say something about it, she lowered the phone to under the counter so that it would below my view. When I was on the way out of the store, a manager happened to be standing by the door, and when I mentioned it to him, he just blew it off like it wasn't a big deal. Like it's a normal, part of the job type thing. Never shopping at this location again. read more

I've never had an issue here with items or customer service. This place is clean, has plenty of lighting, and lots of merchandise. One of the worst customer service at this particular Target! I asked for a price adjustment to an item I bought earlier the week and the customer service refused to do so! The older manager that has been at this location forever is the reason I will no longer purchase anything from this Target. His demeanor towards the guest in his store is completely based on his own preconceived notions. He says no without any basis. He prefers to complicate easy transactions. Without a doubt he is not meant to be in customer service. This store reflects his lack there of leadership ability. He is angry and in thoughtful. Promotions are not honored by him.. passports are not excepted by him as a form of ID for beer and wine. He does not read the fine print in coupons he just decides not to except. He limits one gift card for each of his gift card rewarded purchases. He doesn't allow cartwheel and coupon mixed purchases. This list goes on. I feel worse for this employees than I do for my experiences within this location. I'm not wasting my time there ever again. read more
