This Target was nice. There's a Starbucks in there. I liked how well stocked and organized this location was. Spring has sprung early and there was a lot of spring items like outerwear, gardening and Easter items. Parking is spacious. I like how it there's plenty of spots! The cart return areas are in the perfect spots to help shoppers and when I was there they were collecting carts for inside. It's good to use the app. I like scanning when I'm in the store! There might be a good Target Circle item for a great value. This location is definitely worth checking out. read more

I like going to this one versus the laguna one because it's less crowded with the store and parking lot. However, customer service is hit or miss. I've gone to the customer service desk to ask for price adjustments. The first time, I had an amazing lady help me, but the next time I came by, I ended up with a guy who tells me he can't do anything in store and I have to request adjustments by calling or doing it online. Came by today for some quick groceries and some of the dairy fridge section seemed empty/sparse but I was able to find all the food items I needed. read more

This is about the employee who came over to scan my $15 reward gift card. I bought diapers and wipes, and the promotion was "spend $75 and get a $15 gift card." Target doesn't let customers scan the reward themselves anymore, an employee has to put a sticker on it and then scan the card. She claimed my discount had already been applied, but I told her it hadn't. The diapers were $57.99 and the wipes were $19.99, those are the original prices. She finally scanned the card and handed it to me without any apology. I work in retail too, so I know that apologizing when you're mistaken is something you can and should do. This is exactly why I don't shop in-store anymore and usually choose Drive Up pickup instead. read more

I will never shop at this Target again. After paying for my items at self‑checkout, I was confronted by a man claiming to be Target security about a beanie left in my cart. I immediately handed it back--it was clearly an oversight.Instead of handling it professionally, he got in my face and repeatedly called me a homophobic slur. Two other loss prevention employees joined in and did the same. They tried to intimidate me, escalate the situation, and provoke me even though I had paid for everything.I called the store from my car and reported it to HR, but I have heard nothing since.Being verbally attacked and harassed by multiple employees is unacceptable. I recently visited Target to pick up just two items--printer ink and a yogurt. The experience, however, turned out to be more frustrating than expected. First, I discovered that printer ink is now locked up, requiring assistance to access. After waiting for an employee, he retrieved the ink and took it straight to the tech register. I let him know I had one more item I wanted to grab and would check out when I returned. Fast-forward to when I came back with my yogurt--he immediately told me that I could only check out tech items at that register. At no point earlier did he mention this policy, even though he knew I was leaving to grab something else. Instead of allowing me to pay for both items in one transaction, I had to purchase the ink first, then walk all the way to the front of the store to check out for a single yogurt. Not only was this inconvenient, but it felt unnecessary. Whether this is an actual store policy or just the employee not wanting to scan my second item, it resulted in wasted time and an overall frustrating experience. If Target is going to enforce strict checkout policies like this, they should communicate them clearly to customers upfront. I really wanted to leave two/five stars, but decided to leave three just due to the fact that I do frequent here a lot and don't have a terrible experience every time. read more

Of course I was only there 10-15 minutes to pick up diapers for my baby but... They had a great price of $8.99 cents for a 36 pack of Millie Moon diapers :). Why I'm writing this review: They allow you to add a Starbucks drink or food order and the target employees bring you your drinks as well as your order from target. (Insert Happy Crying emoji face here) It's such a nice feature having drive up available! You can let them know when you're coming so that they make your drinks at the right time and they are still hot when you get there!! Target knows what they are doing. This Target is convenient for the bare minimum, but, not your typical Target. It's very messy, and is rarely stocked (Yes, even before the pandemic). There's always a shortage of cashiers, with lines that seem to get longer and longer every visit. The only kudos I can give is the CVS Pharmacy staff- they are always friendly, courteous, and patient with answering questions. My recommendation: skip this Target and make a drive to the Laguna Blvd location. You will leave here with a headache and bitterness in your heart LOL. read more

Service is great when doing drive up pickup. It makes it faster when you go during hours when it's not as busy. Target always has a wide variety of items to select from. I'm so glad they had the scented pinecones. I love putting them in a bowl to spruce up the smell of the house and give it a holiday spirit. The price was comparable to other stores. When I was going to Community College, this was the spot to hangout. I like how this Target is not as busy as the Elk Grove Target. The employees are nice and the store is clean, I would be cautious at night as this area is not the best area... However I would strongly recommend this Target if you need your daily essentials. On 10/03/25 at approximately 3pm there was a vendor stocking trading cards at the Sacramento SW location. There was a whole cart or boxes, approximately 16-17 cases or product where the vendor was stocking to the shelf and we were told it was going to take a few hours. A line had formed in anticipation for Pokemon cards as I happened to be one of the first few in line. After about an hour of waiting, a customer walked by and loudly exclaimed "oh my god the line is so long I am not waiting in line. I'm just going to wait for Jasmine to clock in to give me some." Now this is important because although I don't know what specific title Jasmine holds she is an employee at this location. Shortly after this comment was made by this passing customer to which myself and several other customers heard in line. Jasmine herself went up to the vendor and told him specifically not to put out any pokemon cards and that they will not be stocking any of that today and that they will not disclose when. Keep in mind by most people had already been waiting an hour or more and the line had reached over 30+ people. Jasmine has walked by several times because but did not say anything until this point. It has also a known fact in the Pokemon community she will withhold product to save and hold for her own friends. There were over 5 cases of Pokemon product withheld from waiting customers when the actual vendor was stocking but the very next morning I saw people posting on social media they were able to purchase Pokemon products 10/04/25 the following morning after the products were withheld from customers in line the day before. read more

I'm gonna get some heat for this unpopular opinion but I don't get the hype over Target. It's like Walmarts more expensive younger sister with a glitter bandaid on for some razzle dazzle. Groceries are noticeably more expensive and their clothes are mediocre. Toys and home wares are superior tho. I guess if you have the Circle App, and catch some deals it would make the cost a little more bearable. I've noticed at this location it's a tad more disheveled than others. The clothing and baby area are always a mess and same with the beauty section. On the plus side, parking is plentiful and rarely an issue and they have a Starbucks inside. Overall, since this is my neighborhood Target, of course I'll be back. This is generally where I go when I need birthday or baby shower gifts, but for basic needs or groceries, it's just not for me. read more

Ive always picked this Target location to shop at since it became the "Disney Store" location & because I love Target in general, I've never had any complaints. Starting with the good; this Target tends to have the more exclusive or limited stock items well in stock, like these fun cereal scented candles or the celebrity collaboration collections!! The negative; Consistently when I come here I find it hard to get any sort of help from staff. They will walk by multiple aisles and never take a look in. I came here to view the stock of Squishmallows toys and found MULTIPLE sets had been broken into, opened, stolen, and just completely a mess. It is well known the popularity of these toys and it is not well monitored at all. When it says it's in stock at the location and people get there just to see the aisle totally ransacked, it looks very bad. Please work on that! read more

My favorite wedge heels unfortunately broke on the strap as I was walking, literally we're hanging by the thread, so I had to wobble in purchase some replacements. Although they didn't have the exact pair, I found some nice comfortable flats in my size with studs in the same brand I liked! I have to give 5 stars to the woman who helped clipped my tags so I could wear them out and tossed the broken pair I was wearing! And of course their great selection! I would definitely recommend this location and I'll definitely be back to shop again, aren't we all addicted to Target? read more

I come to this Target every so often, but only because it's the closest location to my house. The last few times I've come here though, they did not have any shopping carts available inside the front of the store! It wasn't even a busy day like a holiday or payday, I came on February 25, 2023 and this happened. Very inconvenient as most shoppers need a cart. I didn't see an employee in the parking lot gathering carts or at least trying to rally some up. Again this has happened on multiple occasions I shopped here, so it's not like it was an isolated incident. In addition to that, many times when I come here things are out of stock. This includes clothing, cleaning supplies, and makeup. The only reason I'm giving this store 2 stars is because the employees are usually nice, and the parking lot isn't bad compared to how busy the Laguna location is. Be aware there are a lot of homeless people toward the back of the parking lot, but I haven't had any issues personally. read more

I was waiting checking out in the self checking line. I didn't know how long I had to wait in the line, but it is the long line behind me. Suddenly the old lady came over me and told me coming to the Cashier line which the long line I have to start waiting again,just because I had more than 10 items. I wonder instead of opening more line than walking around to check every customer, I never see any market that open the self checking just for under 10 items. I think it is bad customer service. The cashiers are mostly hit and miss. Mostly on the miss department. The people in the area know this, it's why the self check out lines are so long. Knowing this the manager should fix the problem with broken self checkout machines. But they prefer not to, so they can continue to employ their bad friends at the check out stands. Why are the cashiers bad? They don't bag your items correctly and make conversation a cringe. Making you actually bag the items yourself if they fail to understand how to fit everything in a bag. It's not hard, heavy items first then squish anything light on the top and or sides. Giving up after one try, is a new generation thing. Being rude is a new generation thing. This Target has great carts! This Target has terrible customer service. I absolutely detest this location. Slow slow slow. Lines for days, piles of stuff and incredibly understaffed. None of the new reset makeup displays had prices...weird. Clearance items tossed in carts that overflow to the floor, bedding strewn all over, crowded aisles. It truly appears that no one on staff seems to care, except if you are trying to get an item that is marked down or using the cartwheel app. Yes, Target's very own proprietary app. Warning...if you are buying anything on sale be prepared to have your entire purchase looked over by at least 2 staff members, your cart scrutinized and get ready for a cavity search. I'm kidding about the cavity search. Kind of. Did something happen here that makes the employees treat everyone like they are thieves in the night? When I went to return an item at the start of my shopping trip, one person was running the customer service/returns area. Shopping carts filled with items stood before me, all returns. After an eternity (15 minutes) I handed over my item, with a receipt. The woman asked me two times why I was returning it...I explained 2x it was the wrong product, sealed and never used. I had a receipt and bought said product 5 days prior. It was a $5 item. After shopping in the cluttered store, I had the pleasure of waiting in line again (to be expected...it is crowded) and was in the middle of a transaction when they stopped, switched staff members and then had the new person ask me if I paid yet. When she scanned a marked down item, they called for backup. When I asked (as per my cartwheel app) if I qualified for the advertised discount, chaos broke out. I guess I'm an undercover criminal? There is more to this "adventure" but it would take days to write the ridiculousness that transpired. It took almost 20 minutes and 3 separate staff members to complete my transaction. So, if you are in the mood for lines, ineptitude and scrutiny, then by all means - visit this location. read more

The store manager here is literally the worst person. It's a Middle Aged white woman with thin stringy brown hair. She walks around bossing peoples kids around. Telling them to sit down and pull up their pants, every time words come out of her mouth it's literally rude and sharp. Your job isn't to parent other peoples kids, I don't care if you're "just trying to help" ... I don't come to your house and tell your kids what to do. Had an issue with the staff on my pickup. The target staff member did not put my items in the bag I had setup in my truck. After asking staff member to place items in the bag he actually dumped my items in my trunk and on top on my bag. I had cold diary items along with dry goods and produce. I went into the store and spoke to Pam and Kimson and they both were very attentive to my issue and after asking to see my photo of the delivery they were very upset and concerned. I want to tell Target management they Kimson and Pam represented Target on a professional manner. The other person I hope was spoken too as he did not represent Target in a professional manner. In the four years of using pickup service this was the first time my request to put my items in my bag was ignored. read more

This morning we ran low on Iams cat food. The area Target is the closest place to pick it up. I have the day off so I drove there not only to buy that, but I saw they had TVs on sale and I'm in the market for a smaller set for the den. While I was there I stopped in electronics to see what they had. The associate working in that area asked me if I needed help, I told him what I was looking for and he referred me to "go to the Target website." I felt a bit blown off as he continued his stock work. I left the department and grabbed my cat food. While I was there I grabbed some diet Coke, and checked out some of the grocery prices which were very reasonable. It looked like I could save some money picking up some staples there. Only a few items in my cart I went to the self check out lane and waited my turn in line. Of 4 stations only 2 were open. After a few minutes a stand opened up and I scanned my items. When I went to pay I wanted to use cash so I can keep close track of my spending during the holidays. Their self check outs only accept card payments. I didn't know because their is no signage as you enter that lane. I spoke to another associate who said he was a manager, to politely express my disappointment that after waiting my turn I will have to wait again at the checkstands. Only 2 stands open, both with small lines but the baskets had a good amount of merchandise. There were 2 large baskets ahead of me. I didn't bring my debit card. I was frustrated and left the line, gave my basket back to the floor manager and I apologized and left. Its impossible to get any service or help anymore. These big box stores want you to shop on their app or go to their website and pick up at the drive up. To me, working service and retail all of my career our customers come first. Its hard enough to get someone to leave the house and come in to the store much less get then to return. Shopping for things you want should be a pleasure, and the interactions you have with the associates can make your day. The gentleman I was talking to at the check out area said he was a manager. He could see I was frustrated and disappointed. How hard would it be, instead of handing me excuses, to open a checkstand real quick and help me get on my way. I guess I'm to much trouble to assist. Thats okay. I found my cat's food at a pet store where I was greeted and brought to a register to pay for my merchandise. I'll just go there for pet supplies. I got help and was in and out very quickly. Another reason to shop small. read more

Decide to visit this store location because yesterday location at 4th Ave was horrible in customer service with no knowledge of the store policies when dealing with self checkout. But, here at this location was superb. Shopping was pretty simple. They had a good deal on laundry detergent such as Tide and Dreft. Buy3 get $10GC on eligible selected items. Not sure what items qualifies? Go on your Target app and scroll through the household items. The app also have .50-2.00 off (Tide & Dreft) be careful when selecting your detergent not all the detergent qualify for the GC. Nice sweet lady at the cashier was super nice! She was very nice and is very helpful. We were having issues with our items at the checkout. She was very knowledgeable and resolved our problem quickly. Young lady manager is also very professional and sweet. Due to our fault of not reading the fine print correctly. I apologized to both the ladies for my mistakes because I don't like to make things difficult for cashiers or anyone who work in customer service because I too, work as a cashier/customer service and I can relate. The manager did not get upset with us. She is very understanding and help fix our issue. Thank you so much! I appreciate it very much. It def made our family day a happy Sunday funday! I would recommend coming here. The staff are very knowledgeable and very professional. On top with their sales and their promos. We also was grateful for another young lady at the self checkout. We did not know that self checkout no longer accept coupons because we had an issue at another location yesterday and they couldn't explain why we couldn't use it but, it turn out that Target no longer accept coupons at the self checkout but, only at the checkout register. read more

Hello I wanted to acknowledge this gentleman at 1:10 today. He was very nice greeted very sweet. I appreciate him nor my condition just getting off the hospital and get them about my body back to. There was a lady that I went to first and her and another lady were just talking and taking forever just you know, it was very rude. I understand they were first, but they were just carrying on like she didn't have nobody else, I want to Teknowledge the gentleman I really did he was awesome. He also joked and was patient with me with my gift card in my little bit of change I have I don't know his name but he was really nice and that was his last customer I just wanted to acknowledge him and let you guys know he was amazing. I don't usually shop at this Target, but I was nearby so I it was more convenient that the Sacraments East location that is closer to home. My first stop was the playground for the cute bargain bin items, which are mostly seasonal and there is always new and useful items. A lot for school kids, but something for everyone. This particular Target had quite a bit of empty space in that section and I wasn't excited about most of it....then I spotted a clear acrylic laptop stand for only $5. Yes, please! Or so I hoped. Unfortunately, they neglected to put this item in my bag with several other things I purchased and I didn't realize it until I arrived at home. It was past 10 pm, so I tried calling about 45 minutes after they opened. I tried 4 times, and 4 departments and not a single person answered. So now I wasted time calling and will have to waste more time and gas driving out to this store in 106 degree heat because of their lack of service on multiple levels. Thanks Target, won't be returning any time soon. I'm only giving two stars because it was a convenient location, but only once when I was in that area of town. read more

I won't be shopping at this location anymore. I usually have no problems shopping at target. But this particular day as a African American I was racially profiled and followed around the store by another African American. There's this tacky looking loss prevention African American man who's dressed in tank top and biker shorts (you know the type of men who workout and they're trying to show off their muscles but they neglected the lower part of they're body, so you're forced to look at a muscular chest and skinny chicken legs with no muscle). He's probably trying to be a cop. I say this because when I worked for Ross and Target in the past this what the loss prevention workers were trying to be. I think the people they hire are stupid or something. People who steal don't shop to the point where their cart is full and then go to the cash register to checkout. Not only is being racially profiled offensive but to be followed by an eye sore Is even more offensive. To top it off he wasn't even wearing a mask. During this trip to Target I had to fight back the irritation, annoyance and being forced to look at this tacky, creepy and disgusting looking person while I shopped. I've worked for Ross and Target in the past and I know and any intelligent person knows that they have cameras (that can zoom in & out and that have facial recognition). There's a back room with loss prevention watching so there's no reason for someone to follow someone around the store. Get a life and hire some non racist intelligent workers. Drive-up to pick-up!? Probably the most genius thing target has done in awhile. I was in dire need of an item that was only available at this target out of like 4 others in the Sacramento area. I tried out their new drive-up feature last Saturday night & I was so happy with my experience!! First off, this is super convenient for those who are looking for a quick trip without having to get out of the car. Second best, you can notify the team when you're on the way to the store and when you get there. This way the process runs through quickly! A few minutes after clicking, "I'm here" Sienna walked out with my item. She was super friendly, verified my order and sent me on my way with a complimentary goodie.
