Checked out this Target a couple of times in the past week. Parking was a breeze even though there were tons of people. The shopping carts were kind of stuck, so had to really jar them loose. Browsed around the different aisles and looked for items on sale, if there were any. Noticed the Electronics' section had minimized in terms of the space used and also the inventory. Earphones were in locked spaces, along with the PS5 games. DVDs/Movies were also locked away. Saw some Funko Pop figurines, but for regular retail prices. Apple iPhone Cases were on sale, but still pretty expensive. Walked around to see the drinks and food aisles, which had a good variety of things to choose from. Chips and gummies were on the expensive side compared to other stores. Bought some Organic Milk, which was $5.99 a gallon. Christmas themed clothes for the kids were intriguing. For Adults, there seemed to be some odd looking clothes for the Holidays, like the fabric and styles were eccentric looking. Personal hygiene and toiletries were adequately stocked. Saw some items on sale for the Men's Cremo products as well as The Rock's personal care items. read more

I've held off writing this review for years but this store is awful. Can't tell you how much time I've wasted attempting to call for an important quick question to be immediately put on hold for ages and then instantly hung up on without them ever saying a word or giving me a second to ask my question! I can't understand why so many businesses can't manage a simple phone line anymore but for an organization as resourceful and longstanding as Target this is beyond unacceptable. They're also terrible at handling product restocks, shifting inventory, and managing store policies. Many items are overpriced and low quality. The one "saving grace" is most floor level employees are friendly but that's the only nice thing I can truthfully say. Hopefully we will get some better alternatives in the area to shop at in the near future.. read more

CHOBANI CHOBANI CHOBANI!!!! Yes this is something new. CHOBANI you have did your big one with this flavor i usually purchased the caramel macchiato. Which is my old school go too favorite. I have even tried the cookie butter the cookie butter I just didnt really taste like anything. Not bad but to me it lack flavor. But this toasted coconut vanilla oh it is a ten out of ten its so good. I can actually taste the coconut and rhe vanilla when I saw this flavor was available at target I immediately went to target. Walked in straight to the back I went. And I did not see no toasted coconut vanilla, flavor chobani. I was so determined to purchase not 1 but two carton of the creamer after I ask the sales associate could he please look in the back. Refrigerator for me and he did just that i forgot his name but he made my snowy day Much better i really hope this flavor is going to be a regular flavor item. This year many of Target's shelves are low in stock. The shoe dept adults extremely low. In the past a lot of choices. Why?

Target stores can be dangerous to your wallet. I always start looking around with only the best intentions. And, then it happens, I find a shopping cart full of things that I had not planned on buying. But, there is so much variety in Target...whether you are looking for groceries, cleaning supplies, books, clothes, or electronics...Target has it all packed in one place. I did deduct one star because when I got up to the cashier, some of the things I thought were on sale, required you to have a Target Circle card to get the sale price. Did I put them back? No, I still think Target has good prices. Next time, I will take a list with me. But, I am probably not going to stick to my list. : ) read more

I would love to come back to Target - but so far I can't. I was a loyal and regular customer before they rescinded their diversity initiatives in January. I shopped there specifically because I liked their programs to support communities they serve and liked that they were inclusive and celebrated the diversity of our country. I don't know why they keep trying everything *but* bringing back to those programs to win back customers. I can't wait to come back - the moment Target comes back to its commitment to Belonging for all customers. Until then I am buying from Costco, direct from vendors, etsy, e-bay, the Grove, etc. The longer this drags on, the less likely I will be to come back. I love me some Target, but I gotta keep it real. The toy section and children's clothing sections need to be better stocked. Unless you're there when they bring out the new Hello Kitty t-shirts or new LEGO sets, you aren't gonna find what you are looking for. Size small goes like wildfire, and the toy section routinely looks sacked. If you know you have mass consumption for these items, year after year, why wouldn't you order larger quantities? read more

The store is clean and organized. Staff in facial ulta very helpful and in soap region last night. However, two ladies / staff were speaking ill of a customer who suffered some mental illness. Their judgement, words and gossip were very offensive to me and my family. Everyone after covid has some anz/ depression. read more

Unfortunately, I was unable to find what I was looking for at this Target. It can be a very frustrating experience shopping here. The parking garage has plenty of parking, but it can be a hassle to navigate in and out. I ended up purchasing three items and did the self-checkout. read more

This wasn't the best Target that I've visited, but it wasn't the worst. Compared to other (nice) Targets, this one was a bit dark and dingy. However, everything was pretty well organized, and I did not have much trouble finding things that I needed. Compared to other Targets in the area, the fresh food/produce section was a little lacking, but this location does have the basics. It's quite possible I've been jaded by so many lackluster Target stores that this Rockville location seems stellar in comparison. It doesn't even phase me when a Target is unorganized with unhelpful associates or is worn to a point where a renovation would do them some good but this location has none of those issues. Target of Rockville is not the traditional mega center Target often is, but it's spacious and things are generally easy to find. I also feel the associates are fairly helpful and I appreciate how clean the store is. This also includes the bathrooms. I've come to find that over the years that I've been lucky enough to score some deals here, especially for things that are sometimes out of stock at other locations. I think they're pretty good with seasonal items and their produce section is surprisingly decent. Parking situation isn't so bad, but it's kind of a nightmare when things are extra busy. I find that they follow all the COViD protocols with plastic dividers, masked up employees and frequent disinfecting of the registers. That in itself is a huge thumbs up. read more

One of the few Targets in the area that gets it right. Although they have parking garages for parking, try to use the buddy system always. Good customer service, where they really do try to help you. They have a few check out lines where real cashiers do their job. Cuz I'm not gonna work for free at Target, to check myself out. Store is clean and well stocked on most days. Their curbside service is helpful, where they bring your online orders to your car. Definitely love their Cartwheel app, they changed the name of it recently, but it's on the Target app. read more

This is an OK Target. I go there often because it's so close to where I live. If there's another one close enough, I wouldn't go out of my way to choose this particular Target and here's why. The garage is poorly lit in my opinion and I don't feel safe in it. There was an incident where a woman nearly got abducted by a man in the middle of a broad daylight. Every corner is a bit tight to drive around so you always risk getting into a head on collision. The garage recently turned most of the well lit entrance area spaces for a DriveUp spot. Which is fine and all except it now requires everyone to attempt parking on the 2nd or 3rd level which is even more dimly lit and sketchy feeling. Not to mention inconvenient as hell. Yes, there are some spaces still available on the 1st garage floor. However, not enough during peak hours to rectify the need to park elsewhere. The 2nd floor has no direct entrance into the store so you'd have to take the stairs / elevator (if it's working at all that day) upstairs or downstairs to get inside the store. If you park on the 3rd level, you can get into the store directly. But you will still need to take the escalator or the elevator inside the store unless you're only there for textiles, home goods, electronics, or baby/men's clothes. In short, it's inconvenient either way. And yes, Joy B. made a great point to park on the street and walk up and down the ramp. This is a great spot if it's sunny and not raining outside like yesterday evening and you are going alone or otherwise have no mobility issues. The store shelves itself can look well stocked but not have basic items available at the same time. Like bandaids or Benadryl. Distilled water by the gallons. Watch out for expired meat lurking in the fridge area. The ice cream selections used to be great but now it's mostly Target brand everything. Half opened lotions and missing inventory in the beauty aisle. I do like their Ulta beauty section, however. But it's better to just go to the real Ulta up the street. It's also annoying when the website says the items are in stock but it's not upon arriving to the store. An associate can attempt helping but disappear and not come back. What irks me also is the in-store pickup. It can either take forever, or the line is too long to go inside and get it. Or even worse, the items arrive looking beat up like the spatula I've once bought. So I just don't bother with it. I say this because the 4 times I've given it a try yielded into 2 orders being canceled because supposedly, the items were out of stock when it wasn't, or the pickup time was so long and it was faster to just go inside and get myself rung up at the cash wrap. And for holiday seasons, don't bother going unless you want to meet a mob of angry customers and super long lines.......but the place hardly sells any Christmas decorations or holiday anything. I am not even always sure where all the people came from! It totally baffles me year after year. In sum, I wouldn't call this place my favorite Target. But it does the trick in a pinch because I live close. read more

Love Target, this is one of my favorites. This time around, I was very dissatisfied. I preordered, in order to be in-and-out, as these are NOT the times to be hanging out in crowds. It took the better part of 45 minutes to an hour to pick-up my order. They are understaffed, they had returns, order pick-up and baby registry ALL in one line. I can understand, the reasoning behind that durning a slow time...but durning prime time hours, they should subdivide those line and have more staff on hand. Standing in a super long line, all but defeated the purpose of placing a pre-order, if ones trying to be cautions & safe around large crowds. It had been months since I last visited a Target, based on this recent trip, it might be that long before I go again. Target, please get your act together. read more

Things have been better here on my last few visits...construction is still on-going but it isn't so obstructive (ramps are fully open except for to the fourth floor--and people still drive too fast---but you can now park at and access the store from the third floor). The cashier who helped me today actually smiled and asked if I would like a bag...a nice and welcome change from before! But the up escalator was not working (and the down escalator for carts was stuck). read more

This location was very neat and clean and very well stocked I would recommend sometimes when you go to a target it is usually hit or miss not as nice and neat but this one was I would recommend. They Even have the Ulta area with all the make up that only some of them have. read more

This target is always messy and has a grimy feeling. Upstairs registers are rarely open which leads to downstairs self checkout lines being super long and one actual register open. It seriously feels as if a tornado went through there, that's how much of a mess it is. read more

I like coming to this location. It is 2 stories with the home section, electronics, men's clothing, and Starbucks being at the top and the bottom floor having groceries, women's clothing, beauty/toiletries, and return/customer service. There are checkout counters conveniently on both floors. If you need stuff from the second floor park on level 3. There are much less people who park on the high floors then level 1. They also have those cart conveyor belts for transporting your cart to the different floors as you go up and down the escalators. This target is well stocked as well, I have not ran into a problem of them being out of something that I needed. read more

One of the biggest Targets I have ever been to in Maryland and I beleive Annapolis is the biggest. A nice covered parking garage that protects you and your car from the elements. Though I think the people in the parking garage need patience and to slow TF down. The people that work here are organized and kind. A wonderful selection from grocery to clothes to home stuff and more with 2 floors. This is one of my favorite Targets when I am in the area with my clients. You guys are awesome. read more

I think I'm just gonna drive further, because I'm tired of them taking so long to bring out your order. When it's not even a lot of people. Today was my last straw. I was the first person there. I waited for over 10 minutes for my order. One of my items was already canceled. When the guy come out to my car is when he want to tell me my sweet kale Had to be canceled right then and there because they forgot to put it in my bag. How do you forget to put it or even look for it when y'all told me my order was ready therefore I drove here? This store is chronically out of stock on common items, even long before pandemic so this is not new. As a result, I often end up stopping at multiple stores to find items I was hoping to find at Target. Store shelves often look mostly empty, like when stores are having a store-closing clrearance sale, except that sale has been going on for many years. In December, when a ton of people are shopping, they close the upstairs self checkouts and have no actual cashiers helping anyone. Everyone has to use the 7-8 (depending on how many are working that day) self checkouts on the first floor. The line is ridiculously long and they do nothing about it. I used to buy clothes at Target when they carried Merona, but lately their brands and styles are pretty awful, especially the prairie dresses that ended up being a joke on social media. When it comes to value, do your research. While some items are reasonably priced, I often find the same items cheaper at a different store or online. Sadly, I often get the item faster if I order it online from a different store because of this Target's longtime issues with empty shelves. If I didn't shop in other Targets once in a while, I would have wondered if the company's going out of business because this store looks like they just gave up. Very sad. read more

I had a horrific experience at this Target trying to purchase a simple household appliance. The cashier had a rotten attitude and was angry towards me, for no reason whatsoever. Fighting and bickering with me because the computer did not ring up the merchandise with the correct sale price as labeled on the shelf. The employees here are perpetually lazy, half asleep or on sedative meds, low energy, and just not caring. Good luck trying to ask someone for help in the electronics section. I stopped by here to pick up some miscellaneous toiletries while I was out and about last weekend. This target has a multi-story parking lot, which is the only way to enter the building. They have checkout on each level inside the store, and the place was pretty quiet when I came here. The store itself was clean, and stocked ok. I found what I needed, then proceeded to checkout. Checkout was not hassle, I swiped my card and was out the door. This place is huge, and has a grocery section as well. 8/12/20 There was a time I thought Kohl's clothing could not be beaten. It was where I would buy all my clothing...okay, 96% of my clothing. The one place I thought had better underwear is Target. Target's underwear had a better cut, feel and fit. I wasn't into the tighty whities so boxer breifs would have to do. In case you ate wondering, thongs did not work for me either. I don't know how some women do it, but (no pun intended) kudos to you if you do. Then one day I discovered the greatest brand of underwear called A Pair Of Thieves sold at Target. I have recently gotten rid of most of my socks and replaced them with a Pair Of Thieves socks and now switching shirts slowly. The Merovingian said it perfectly regarding the French Language, but if he ever sampled A Pair Of Thieves merchandise sold at Target, he would say "Nom de dieu de putain de bordel de merde de saloperie de connard d'enculé de ta mère. It's like wiping your arse with silk. I love it. Merovingian : Choice is an illusion created between those with power and those without...." if he had been wearing A Pair Of Thieves undergarments, he would truly be in power and not be scared of Neo. The French would say "Vous devez essayer ça! c'est tout simplement magnifique." Trust me, the French ladies know about these things. Anyhow, I started stocking up on the Pair Of Thieves black and purple extended breifs. Eventually I will get rid of the Underarmour boxer breifs. Target also had a brand called #9, but I haven't seen this brand in a while. Would replace my shirts with them if I could. Oh well. Target is the place to go. read more

I've been going to this target since I was in high school, so its been about 15 years. In my opinion its the best target in this area. Comparing it to the Wheaton, Cherry Hill, Germantown & Gaithersburg location, this place is cleaner, the staff is nicer, and they have a better stock on everything. Coming here is especially convenient because A.) They have a parking garage with 5 levels, and entrances on the 1st and 3rd floor. B.) Both floors have registers, and self checkout. I'm never in this target longer than I need to be, unless I want to waste time just browsing (which is always an option). I also have my prescriptions filled at this Target, and it's because they always stay in communication with the customer, and they're fast and responsive. read more

I have been to this location a few times to get all sorts of stuff. I usually find what I am looking for and if I am not able, I have reached out to folks who have assisted. They have had sales here and there, but don't always assume that if an item was on sale last week that it will be on sale this week. I discovered this a few times that I have shopped here. All in all, I am fine shopping in this location. They have a parking garage that has 2 entrances off of Bou Avenue (easy in, easy out) and you can take the elevator to the next level (within the garage). They also have a few self-checkout stations (a plus for me) and several cashier stands that I have seen staffed when very busy. read more

Target in general is dangerous, I walk in with a list and leave with everything except for the items on my list. This Target is pretty mediocre. The first thing is location, if you don't know it's there you will miss the store. The parking lot is not as bad as other say, but it is intense on the weekends. Once you get inside I don't feel like the store is ever well stocked and more often than not the store is missing things I need. It's frustrating to continuously track down staff to ask if something is located in the back. I'm sure it's also super annoying for staff to have to stop what they're doing to go into the back. Luckily Target has the red phones that you can pick up throughout the store if you need help. A "team member will meet you at the phone within sixty seconds. I've also ordered online due to the store being out of stock and pick up doesn't run as smoothly as a typical store. I noticed that Target is now hooked up with the grocery delivery service Shipt which I love. I definitely recommend using that system when shopping at this Target. read more

I don't frequent this Target often, but a recent trip has convinced me that this is the best location in the area for drugstore make-up. First off, it's huge and well-maintained, well-stocked and clean. What more can you ask for when they see so much foot traffic?! The Target-obsessed are a cult, I tell you. What really sets this location apart is the beauty section. I know many stores are beginning to upgrade what this looks like and it is truly a good play by Target. This store has almost a quarter of a floor dedicated to beauty - omfg! It boasts an open-floor concept (not unlike Sephora and Ulta) and has sections dedicated to natural beauty products and beauty concierges/consultants. I believe you can even swatch products. What a dream. I found all the brands I was looking for in one trip: Vital Proteins (on sale), Thayer's, Winky Lux. I had to calm down because I wanted to throw everything in that infamous red cart. Damn you, Target (in the best of ways). read more
