The installation team did a great job, hanging it at the perfect height to both illuminate the inside of the house and to add appeal from outside, through the large front window, at night. I purchased a piece of furniture from Persiano Gallery. It comes with shelves. But when delivered, it had no shelves. John, the owner of Persiano Gallery, said they were looking for the shelves in their warehouse and when they found them they would deliver them. I contacted John every week asking if he found the shelves for my furniture and he said they are still looking; "don't worry," he says. After two months I told John that he needed to deliver my shelves or refund me part of the payment for the furniture--the cost of the shelves. He said he would find them that week or make some new shelves for my furniture. At the end of the week, I asked John if he found the shelves or was making them. He said he would call me the next day. He never called me and has not spoken to me since. I have to submit a dispute with my credit card company to hopefully get some resolution. Do not buy anything from Persiano Galley and don't trust anything John says. It's a really bad business. read more

This review is about the lamp repair service. I dropped off my lamp in March with the promise of it being evaluated in 2 weeks and fixed in 4. After 4 weeks I called about the evaluation and was told the repair man was sick and they'll get back to me about the evaluation later that week. They never called back. This story is riddled with poor communication and one of the many reasons I gave them 1 star. After no call, I called them back to see how the evaluation went and when I should expect a report. The woman gave me a quote of $250 to repair the lamp, so I asked her for a detailed description on what was to be fixed. She did not have one, which I thought was odd considering they want me to pay $250 and couldn't even tell me what they were fixing. I asked her to email me the details after she contacts the repair man. Big surprise, I never received an email so I had to call again to get the email. Finally I have an email, Hello Lindsey, The price for your Floor lamp repair is $250 + tax. That includes Rewire, fixing the 3 small sockets, and the Top middle socket. I apologize for the delay. We will be giving you a call as soon as we have your lamp ready. Thank you so much. I decide to go ahead with the repair, it is still cheaper than buying a new floor lamp. I told them I accepted. Then another few weeks go by and I get no response. By this time they've already had my lamp for 3 months and had almost zero communication with me about progress. So I'm fed up, I want my lamp back. I drive 30 mins out of my way in rush hour traffic down to the store only to have to wait there another 10 mins until some one showed up. I ask to take my Lamp home. The owner was their and said the piece just showed up Friday so give him until Thursday to fix it and he'll knock $100 off. Then he said he'd call me if it's completed earlier. I said ok, one last chance and I'll pick it up Thursday. Thursday rolls around and I call the store to make sure my lamp is complete. The woman tells me it is ready. So I travel 30mins out of my way in rush hour traffic to finally pick up my lamp. I get to the store and the lamp is not finished but they still want me to pay $140 for it. I talk to the owner again and I'm enfourated! He didn't want to call me because he was afraid it would "upset me" what kind of customer service is that!? I'm MORE upset because you made a promise you couldn't keep, lied to me then made me travel 30 mins out of my way in rush hour traffic for an incomplete repair. I was done, I paid the $140 and took my lamp. The first picture is the incomplete repair I came home with. I had to buy my own socket covers then once I put the socket covers on and the bulbs in I realized the sockets weren't even the SAME SIZE. You can see this in the second picture. Then third, I turned on the light for the first time and it POPPED really loud but seemed to work (still timid about using the three sockets because of the POP) so I started turning them on and off, come to find out the three switch turns on two, then one, then all three, it's out of order! I can't post videos but it looks stupid. So long story short I paid $140 for a shitty repair job and horrible customer service. So how I see it, I didn't pay $140 for the lamp, I paid $140 so I never have to deal with this terrible place again. read more

If you're going to the Rockville Pike location, don't be fooled by the size of the store when you pull in the parking lot. There are several other showrooms on the same site and the owner, John, will take the time to show you everything you want to see. We bought two rugs there that have changed the whole look of our living and dining rooms. John's sense of design is great and his ideas were super helpful as we considered different options. He selected outstanding options, based upon my preferred style, that were appropriately sized to the rooms withan affordable price . The furniture he selected looks amazing in my home, and I could not have accomplished this without his talented taste. Can someone help us? We had a contract with them for purchase and installation of custom Master Bedroom closets back on 06/04/2016. The job was for $48,000. We made a deposit of $16,000. The job was supposed to be done in 4-5 months (by 11/04/2016). We made an inquiry on 11/23. No response. We made another inquiry on 12/02. The owner, John Hashempour replied: "Late december early January." Nothing by 01/12/17. We made inquiries on 01/12 and 01/16. No response. Yet another inquiry on 01/20. He said he would get back to us. He didn't. Another inquiry on 01/22, and now he said he couldn't do the job and the order was never placed with the factory (so he lied to us all along on top of breaching his contract). He said he would refund the money. Now, almost five months later (and one year since we placed the order and paid), he just told us today he would refund us by 06/22. I believe everyone would agree we have been more than patient and reasonable up to now. How can he simply not perform the work promised and not give back the money he took? What can we do and who can we tell in order to get the money back? We are extremely worried that he files bankruptcy before 06/22. We would 100% stay away from this place. Purchased a floor model chess table, but when brought home (under light) discovered a big dent in the middle of the table (not just a scratch, but a dent). The table needs wood restoration work in order to be used as a chess table. In the store, this dent was covered up by a center piece/vase on top of it. It also looked as if someone tried to cover it up with a brown marker. The dent/damage was never disclosed to us at the time of purchase. When I contacted John requesting to exchange this table, he replied stating that another table cannot be ordered, and that this was the last one available; therefore, they will not re-order it. At that point, I requested that Perisano Gallery refunds us $100 back - the cost of the dent repair. It has been over a week since my 2 emails to them, and no one had replied back to me. I am deeply dissatisfied with the fact that the damage was not disclosed at the time of purchase, moreover, it was intentionally concealed from us. Any requests to fic the situation, were rejected by Persiano Gallery.. Beware when byuing items from this store!!!!!! Make sure that you check everything thoroughly, because once you pay , that is it. You will get no response or service. read more
