They helped me with fabric selection based on what I shared, sending me a variety of links to view the many fabrics and designs that they had to offer. I also visited the shop in person and had the opportunity to view and touch all the different materials. They left me borrow their sample book so that I could share with my team before finalizing on our selection. Emmanuel was awesome both in store and via emails. The response time in getting our order completed was excellent.

They were extremely responsive and helpful via email, and arranged to pick up the chairs from my house at a convenient time. About a week later, they dropped off the cushions and re-installed them into the chairs and they look and feel amazing. They were also very up-front about the costs and explained all of the options very thoroughly.

I had 2 bar stools that they did a nice job on. I had 2 banquet cushions that needed reupholstered and they did a bad job. There were buckles throughout. I returned them and was promised that they guarantee their work and would fix it. When I went to pick up the cushions it was actually worse. Buckles still there and a crease down the middle of both that wasn't there the first time. The daughter said to send pictures. I sent them and never heard back from her. I would have hoped for a return call and an apology or some type of credit but there was nothing. I don't recommend this small shop.

ABJ did an absolutely fantastic job on my sofa and loveseat! They were able to transform my…read moreoutdated and tired old sofa/loveseat into a chic, fresh new sofa/loveseat. I'm going to enjoy the sofas for years to come. The craftsmanship and the care taken was an A+ job! I can't wait to send more furniture for them to reupholster! The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because sometimes the communications with Mike were a little ambiguous. For example, He underestimated how much fabric I would need. That delayed the job a little bit (because i had to order more fabric) but also i THINK it could have been an issue if the first piece of fabric that I had ordered were not long enough. Luckily they were able to make due with the two separate pieces of fabric. You also have to know exactly what you want. I initially didn't plan on getting new cushions, so that later increased the price a little bit. Also, I kept my old love seat cushions but ordered new cushions for the sofa. When the two pieces of furniture arrived, I realized that the new cushions looked a little more box shaped, whereas the old cushions were more rounded. So I asked them to put additional batting on the new cushions, to round them out. These are all little details that you don't initially think about, but I wanted to share tiny learnings with you. I hope you'll use ABJ. I highly recommend them!!!!

He picked the table up and returned it. For those of you who do not know what a drum table is, the center of the table goes around. Mine was badly broken causing the top to be very tilted. I told Mr Burkett, if he could not fix the table to turn and just have the top be connected to the part that turns, I would have him do the job. He came over and looked at it and said he was pretty confident he could fix it. I also have my grandmother's secretary and one of the doors was too warped to close, he fixed that too and now it closes perfectly.

Lisa is very skilled and knowledgable as she offered to make arm covers with the new upholstery. However, through research and trying new sofas that offer higher seating, I decided it would be best to go with an option where I would sit higher, making it easier to stand back up after sitting for a while - that's not as easy as it used to be at my age now. I was already attached to the chair and wanted to make sure it was repaired correctly. They did an amazing job! They took my chair apart, re-glued it, reinforced it and repaired one of the legs, that was barely hanging on. They also gave me some ideas about reupholstering it. I got a good lesson on why not to try filling my little chair with down feathers and I'm very thankful for that. For the work they did, it cost $150. That may seem like a bit much, but the work was quality and I really do love my little chair. Take a look at the pics. The one where it is just wood is what it looked like when I got it back from being repaired.
