Trust Upholstery did an incredible job re-upholstering our dining room chairs. I found them on Yelp and they responded almost instantly to my request, asking for photos of the chairs. They were extremely responsive and helpful via email, and arranged to pick up the chairs from my house at a convenient time. The next day, they sent me an invoice and promptly answered my questions and took my payment information over the phone. About a week later, they dropped off the cushions and re-installed them into the chairs and they look and feel amazing. They were also very up-front about the costs and explained all of the options very thoroughly. read more

Trust Upholstery - This was my Grandma chair. I guessing at least 80+ years. - Furniture Reupholstery Near Me - Rockville, Maryland

The is the best place to have your furniture reupholstered! I had a good quality 40 year old upholstered club chair and ottoman that desperately needed updating but still exactly the right look for my room. I walked in with a few pictures and rough measurements, found a remnant that was perfect and was given an initial estimate of less than half what I'd been quoted at another store. Jake sent me an invoice an hour later with the final price and a turnaround time of only two weeks. Ten days later my furniture was delivered and it is better than when it was new! The workmanship is amazing, the exposed wood legs look fabulous, and it feels wonderful. Trust is my forever go to place now when I need something reupholstered! read more

We couldn't be happier with the upholstery work on my parents' 8 dining room chairs! The craftsmanship is absolutely gorgeous, and the quality of the fabrics they had in stock was excellent. The turnaround time was incredibly fast--we had our chairs back in less than a week and just in time for Christmas, which we truly appreciated. All this and very affordable! Jake was a pleasure to work with from start to finish: friendly, professional, and clearly passionate about his work. Highly recommend for anyone looking for beautiful, high-quality upholstery done right and done quickly! read more

I had been in search of a reupholstering company for years and found TRUST Upholstery. Jake was my service advisor and was very helpful in starting a project to redesign my living room. It needed a serious makeover and using old furniture was the way to go since I was not finding what I wanted at the furniture stores here in DC. Jake brought over patterns for me to choose from and although I picked out my own fabrics from another company for two of the chairs, all of them turned out the way I wanted them to. Jake and his team took their time and created new furniture from old pieces that I had that were still in good shape. Used furniture that I had located in an Airbnb unit that I was renting out. I am thoroughly pleased with the work that Jake and his team did to assist me in creating the room I desired. If you look for immaculate reupholstering, Trust Upholstery is a trusting company to work with. read more

I had 2 chair pillows upholstered. They matched the color and material perfectly. I do recommend Trust Upholstery and would use them again.

Jake initially did great work at a fair price recovering a soda bed but he took fabric to do additional work in July and with many texts and calls he has not responded ! I'm really concerned- being ghosted by a business that has my material isn't nice ! Maybe they are out of business read more

I tried Trust Upholstery to reupholster a wing-backed chair. I was so pleased I had Trust reupholster my living-room couch as seen in the pictures, with beautiful results and quick turnaround time. I continued and have my barrel chairs with them now. It was refreshing that Jake advised that my first choice of material was not durable and would not wear well. I appreciate that he steered me away from an expensive mistake. I also had them bolster seat cushions that had broken down on chairs that are otherwise in great shape. I prefer reupholstering my Made-in-USA, 1980-1990's furniture to replacing it. Their pricing is very reasonable and the quality is much better than if I replaced the pieces I feel great sentimentality towards. I'm a big fan of Trust Reupholster read more

Sadly, I believe this business is closed. I heard very good things about them. The gentleman came out for an estimate and I could never contact him again. He didn't return voice messages or texts. He was very friendly and seemed very confident up until the time I no longer heard from him. It's been several months and still no response. read more

Jake & Trust Upholstery have done several projects for me. All of them have turned out perfect. Jake listens to you when you have special requests. I will not use anyone else. Trust Upholstery - Upholstered my chairs.Did an excellent job! This is the second job he has done for me. The first was my chaise in my bedroom & I love it! - Furniture Reupholstery Near Me - Rockville, Maryland

Great service! Very friendly staff and patient as well. Would highly recommend at least giving them a visit!

We have been so pleased with the work of Trust! They do quality work and reasonably priced. Jake is helpful at all points. He helped with selecting fabrics and he is a strong communicator which included fabric delays or anticipated issues to be made aware of. So there were no surprises We worked with them on a number of projects including restuffing chairs, reupholstering chairs and tightening dining chairs. They pick up and delivery the items as if it was their home and their furniture, taking great care. We highly recommend stopping in. You are not paying for a fancy showroom but they are in a good Rockville location. Thank you. read more

I highly recommend Trust Upholstery. They reupholstered an office chair with a large rip in the seat fabric. Amazing work and very fair pricing! Highly recommend this business. They reupholstered two very old wing backed chairs we inherited, that aren't worth much, but have great sentimental value and they look brand new now. Trust took extra care in doing a very professional job and even touched up scratches on the front legs. They also picked up and delivered when they promised. We are very pleased with their work and professionalism and will use them again when needed. read more

Jake has reupholstered several pieces for us. Recently, we had two small chairs left to us by a beloved aunt. We used a special fabric design on a small back piece which was centered perfectly. Jake's team does terrific work. They have a good eye, and the work was completed timely. Jake is talented, responsive, and their pricing is fair. We will use them again, no doubt. read more

We cannot say enough good things about Trust! During the height of the pandemic with no guests, parties or gatherings, we thought it was the perfect time to reupholster all 8 of our dining room chairs. They allowed us to do the beginning phase of our project via pics, which was most helpful. Jake and Uncle in particular, but def all the team we met in person were courteous and responsive to our many questions. They are true craftsmen with an artistic flare, the price was very reasonable and the job was completed on time as estimated! Jake helped us to understand which grade of foam to use as well as allowing us to use fabric we had purchased a few years before. Not only were the chairs expertly upholstered but to our surprise, the subtly patterned brocade fabric patterns were totally matched directionally for all 8 chairs! Further, we were so pleased we had them also reupholstered an antique drum stool for my husband which is also beautifully done... We will be using them for all our furniture going forward. read more

Jake and Trust Upholstery are the best, but more importantly provide expert craftsmanship. Jake patiently outlined our options and costs once we had chosen a fabric to reupholster our 20 year old sofas. He noted that the fabric choice presented several options and we choose the matching one with a small seam. It is meticulously matched and the seam is almost invisible. With new cushions as well, we have brand new sofas! Could not recommend them more highly! read more

I came upon Trust Interiors completely by accident! While driving to a competitor, I made a wrong turn and stumbled into the strip mall that houses the best "mistake" I've ever made! Jake and the Trust Team of highly skilled professionals have turned what previously had been a dull and lifeless house into an exciting, colorful, and welcoming home! The transformation has been remarkable! In total, 14 pieces of antique furniture have been masterfully and beautifully reupholstered, and 4 new sofa pillows and 2 kidney pillows now grace my home. From the initial consultation, the exceptional quality and selection of fabrics, to the finished product and dependable service and delivery, Trust Interiors has provided excellent service with satisfaction guaranteed! Without reservation, I highly recommend Trust Interiors. read more

Trust Upholstery provided a wonderful combination of craftsmanship and customer service. I called this company just after Christmas and left a voice message. I received a reply within an hour from Jake who said they were closed for the holidays, but that he'd contact me when they reopened. In the morning of the first day after the holidays, Jake called and we set up an appointment that week for him to come out and scope out the job. Jake arrived on time and made some helpful suggestions about the work (a custom window seat cushion) that will prevent us from having issues in the future. The job itself was reasonably priced and was completed within two weeks, which was surprisingly fast. Jake called to schedule a time to install and arrived at the exact time mentioned. The cushion itself was a perfect fit, very well made, and looks great, but Trust Upholstery's superb customer service is the reason why I'm writing this review, my first on Yelp. I would definitely go back to them and would highly recommend them to anyone. read more

Trust Upholstery is seriously the best of the best. Please note that I'm pretty picky about these things... but for Trust, no amount of praise would suffice. We've gotten work done there countless times, and each time, the artistry was impeccable. Their craftsmanship is unparalleled. I've been to several other upholstery shops in the area in the past, but none got the work down like Trust. Service is prompt and very polite, with professionalism. We had several antiques go in, dubious of whether they could be restored. Boy, were we wrong!! Not only were the pieces polished and restored, they came out more beautiful than ever. You can really tell that craftsmanship is the most important part of this business. Each piece is handled and upholstered meticulously. Even the most difficult pieces to upholster can be taken in, and you can expect absolute PERFECTION. I have never seen such work in any other upholsterers. Like the other two reviewers below, I have nothing but good things to say about their work. Thank you, Trust!! Definitely pay them a visit; you will not regret it. read more

The Trust Team reupholstered our medical exam table with high-quality vinyl and did a first-class job! They even consider the details in their work such as isolating the fixture holes on the bottom of the panels for easy reinstallation. They offered the best price over 4 other competitors too. I highly recommend them. read more

Trust did such a beautiful and thoughtful job reupholstering my grandmother's couch! This couch is over 60 years old (antique yet?) and was worn out to the point that the foam cushions were crumbling and the fabric was torn in several places. I went to G Street Fabrics and ordered the job and fabric through them. They were running a great sale and had a straightforward pricing system that made it easy to accurately predict the cost of the job based on a photo and the measurements of my sofa. I was initially a little nervous about not speaking directly with the upholsterers about the fabric I'd chosen and how the pattern might look across the channels on the back of the couch. When I got the couch back this morning, I realized how misplaced that fear was. Trust Interiors had not only done a perfect job of alternating the medallions in the tone-on-tone fabric on the back of the couch, but had matched up the medallions on the edges of the seats with the covering below them AND with the dust flaps. There's even one that crosses the corners of the two seats where they meet in the middle. I may be using incorrect references to different parts of this couch, but the important point is that they did a gorgeous job and added extra touches of craftsmanship that I never would have expected or considered. They retied the springs and tightened up the frame as well - everything feels great! I can't wait to show my grandmother a photo! My mother, who grew up with this couch, has already had a preview over Skype and thinks it looks fantastic. This old family heirloom has new life, and I look forward to enjoying it for many years to come. Thank you so much, Trust! read more

I've used Trust Upholstery several times for sofas and chairs. They've earned their name every time, for every kind of work. Their rebuilding of a sofa and some chairs so broken down to be of questionable value was excellent. Trust does examine pieces carefully to judge whether broken down pieces can be saved. As the other reviewer said, their matching of patterns is marvelous. Their artistic judgement is creative and good. A whole-hearted endorsement from me. Also important for the customer, the people at Trust answer their phones, return messages, show up when they say they will and complete work when promised. read more

Recently, I decided I needed new drapes which necessitated visiting a number of retail shops & interiors' workrooms in the Rockville, MD to select fabric & obtain pricing. Because Trust Interiors had good reviews on Yelp, I decided to contact them. I spoke w/the firm's principal, Jake Kim. Although the quote provided was reasonable, the yardage amount did not match any of the other quotes I had received so I asked Mr. Kim to confirm the dimensions as well as the fullness ratio he had used & then requested that he double-check the yardage as I didn't want to pay for extra yardage I didn't need or end up w/improperly made draperies. And because I had never worked w/this shop & in order to accurately compare this quote w/the others, I requested a written quote. I also asked if he could provide the recalculated quote that day. Not only did I not receive it that day, I never received it. When a shop comes in w/a quote that is lower than those provided by everyone else & cites their turnaround time as half of what every other retail shop or interiors' workroom quotes & then doesn't come through w/a written quote, it definitely raises a red flag for me. Needless-to-say, I was glad to find this out before money changed hands & have since placed my drapery order w/a company I know & have always found to be responsive & reliable & most importantly, one who meets my comfort level. read more

Trust Upholstery has upholstered a sofa, loveseat, wing chair and ottoman, another chair and ottoman, and some small chairs for me, over the last year and a half. Except for the sofa and loveseat, I supplied the fabric. First of all, their work is just fabulous. Every piece has been done to perfection. The sofa and loveseat, which were quality pieces from the 80's but frumpy, now look both elegant and contemporary; they now look, in fact, like expensive pieces one might see in a magazine ad. I then realized I was dealing with artists and have been telling them to do what they think is right when making decisions about the upholstery. The most recent chair and ottoman (also from the 80's) were upholstered with a large scale pattern involving birds and branches and the matching up of the pattern on the base and cushions is just breathtaking. Further, to make the most of the pattern, they told me they needed to place a seam in a place where one would not normally find it. Well, that seam is invisible, it is so perfectly done. All this quality is available at a very reasonable price, and as another reviewer mentioned, they show up when they say they will, and they are very welcome in my home. You will be very, very happy if you choose Trust Upholstery. read more
