They don't have many choices of teen glasses. They have about four different pairs of glasses. They gave me ones that squished my head. And they made me buy them even though I told them I told them they were too small. I Told them I needed a bigger size that fit me. They need to make more teen glasses in different sizes and colors. read more

I made an appointment to get my eyes checked. They have you fill out the usual paperwork except their form is done on a laminated sheet with a dry erase marker. I thought that was very odd. The last page they require you to accept to have 2 additional exams for more money. One for a retina exam and another be for a contact lens measurement. I didn't think this was necessary for my visit this time and turned in my forms. The person behind the desk said you are required to have that done. I said I've never heard of that requirement before. After some probing I determined it's this office that requires this to be done. I said I don't want to have this and was told the Dr. will not see you unless you agree to have these tests done. I left without getting my eyes examined. It's unfortunate since I've used other Target Optical on many occasions and had wonderful experiences with them. read more

Scheduling is inefficient. Asked to show up for an appointment and it takes over an hour to see the optometrist. The entire office is the size of a closet and the amount of awkward silence brings about the idea that you might be claustrophobic. 10/10 do not recommend. read more

I was told to wait for my appointment in the waiting room. I thought it would only be 5-20 minutes for a wait but it was over an hour. It was frustrating being told one time only to find that it was a significantly longer time than the one I had been quoted. read more

Been a patient of this office for years but will not be going back. The provider is great and very knowledgeable but dealing with the front office is horrible. Had appt today and was told I had no insurance coverage in their system wasn't even given a chance to verify before being told I couldn't be seen and had to reschedule. Funny how walking next door to the Optical side they were able to see I had insurance so wasted trip and no exam. read more

I do not recommend dr. mallorie lindsey. The way she spoke to me was very rude and unprofessional. The second encounter i had with her, she spoke indirectly to me through her co-worker when i was right in front of her as if i was invisible. read more

Be informed that Target Optical (where you get your glasses/contacts) and the exam office are 2 separate entities. I got glasses at the optical side a few years back and had no problems. So, when my insurance changed, I made an appointment with the exam side in order to stay in network. I knew my copay was $10, but in order to be seen by the doctor, I had to agree to an extra charge of $29 for imaging. I told the receptionist I had just had this done in October and didn't want/need it today and that it said NOTHING on their website about this being a requirement when I booked my appointment online. She said it was REQUIRED, and that the doctor would not see me without agreeing to have it done. I reluctantly agreed and then waited for my 10:00am appointment. At 10:22am, the doctor came dashing in with tote bag and purse in hand...clearly LATE at 22 minutes past my appt time. By now, there were 3 of us waiting in the TINY reception area for our appointments . Roughly 10 minutes later, the doctor called me back. I told her my interest was contacts, which I had indicated when I filled out the online appointment information. She informed me that I would not leave with contacts today. I would have to schedule a fitting...understandable (though I wish I had been informed of this). When I asked how long it would take to get that "fitting" appt, she said that it would be scheduled AFTER the exam, and she said it may be later this week or NEXT WEEK. I told her I needed the contacts as soon as possible, and she said...word for word, "It's not my fault you waited so late to come in." Although I'm not really sure what she meant, it was insulting and rude. I replied, "I think we're done here." End of story. read more

Get ready to make an appointment, show up for the appointment and have it not be on the schedule. Got there for my scheduled appointment that I made at the end of my last visit. Was told that I didn't "confirm" it soon enough. Pretty sure I confirmed it when I made the appointment, because you know, I'd say that's standard for making appointments. You would think a year would be enough time for them, but guess not. The staff told me they could work me in but there were no promises and were very inconsiderate of my time. I had to take an unpaid half day to make this appointment time. There is zero respect from this office and the employees. I will not be going back. read more

This Target. optical is great. the staff goses over and beyond. i really can't choose one person their all good. From the time you walk in till you leave there right with you. They help you pick out your frames to the options for your lenses. and if you need to go back for adjustment s they couldn't be nicer.. I love going to this location. Dr. Carr is extremely nice and professional. He helped me several times with different eye problems ranging from regular contact and glasses exam, to an infection in my eye, and then to a detached retina. The whole staff is always very welcoming and accommodating and make sure patients are well taken care of. I highly recommend. read more

Excellent service. I got their a few minutes late. They weren't mad and they didn't let someone take my spot. The paperwork was filled out and the exam started promptly once it was complete. The first thing they had me to do was the norm and that was looking out of each eye at the eye charrt. I had a tough time figuring out which line I stopped seeing at, but the nice lady there was extremely patient. Next up was some kind of flash machine. I believe the function was the same as dilution. It checked the parts of that you can't see. After that, I went to a machine that took a picture 99 my eyes. It looked like a red dot in the distance. I don't know what exactly the function was. I'm not if she told me and I don't remember or if she didn't say it at all. The last machine with her was a pressure checker machine. It blew a puff of air into your eyes to see the pressure. Not sure the actual medical reasoning. That didn't bother me. Later, I went to the optometrist. She gave me the usuals. The machines that actually check your prescription. There were tons of lenses to go through. Some differences were unclear, but the doctor was patient with me. At the end, she showed me the difference without the lenses and I was like woah, am u seeing the same chart? After my prescription was recorded, next on the to-do list was picking the frames. This was the hard part. The selection available to you feels endless and includes Luxottica brands: Ray-Ban, Oakley, Dolce & Gabbana. They also had extra brands which were DKNY,Merona, Mossimo, and Converse. They had lots of stylish frames. The people who are suppose to help you choose are patient and tell you what looks good on you which makes you feel good. I ended up choosing the Ray-8704 which were Gunmetal Black and made of Titaniums. They tell you lens options and pricing. The service was satisfying. The removal of one star was due to the wait being 7-10 business days. However, I still recommend it. read more

Doctor will write a prescription that won't be correct at all then on top of that give you trial contact lens and tell you there "80% your prescription." Then have you keep coming back numerous time to keep trying on new trails contact lens so they can hopefully get your prescription right. Place is a joke. DO NOT GO HERE!!!! read more
