There are other offices in this building as well. There is a parking lot in front of the building, but I didn't see any reserved spots for Eyediology Vision. Instead, I parked on one of the side streets. We were welcomed by friendly staff during check-in. There is an area with water, soda, and coffee for patients. The office is very modern, clean, and organized. The technician did some tests and then I met Dr. Kriti Bhagat. Dr. Bhagat is the owner and founder of Eyediology Vision. She was very professional and friendly. My husband purchased glasses with Eyediology Vision and the staff were very helpful in the process. They really care about you feeling comfortable with the glasses. I am looking forward to my next annual visit with Dr. Kriti Bhagat.

Within a few days of my appointment I got something in my eye when walking outside in the wind. Dr. McMahon found a grain of sand had stuck itself to my eye and said next time to not hesitate calling to come in for a check. I was a patient at this practice for a few years and typically just scheduled annual appointments. That process went mostly smooth but if you have any question whatsoever it requires multiple steps of escalation and the staff are clearly annoyed and not properly trained. On one occasion I had an eye related emergency and the staff offered no emergency appointment or guidance for alternative treatment centers. That lack of assistance/guidance resulted in a $100 emergency room visit. The first question the ER asked me was why didn't your Optometrists schedule you for a sick visit? The last straw for me was when the front desk staff recently tried to cancel an existing annual appointment due to a VSP benefit being exhausted for the calendar year. The staff at no point asked if I had a secondary vision benefit (which I did) or if I still would like to keep the existing appointment with the understanding that the appointment fee would be an out of pocket expense. When I expressed to the staff that the customer service at this office is significantly lacking and that I would not be a returning patient the receptionist audibly sighed and said, " Yeah...ok" So for the above mentioned reasons I would no longer recommend this practice to others in my community.

However, that said, the people there went out of their way to be accommodating when I needed an eye exam ASAP. As an unestablished, new patient, they got me in the next day! Dr. Ni has a wonderful bedside manner. He puts you at ease while examining your eyes-- as this is not always the most comfortable experience. He talked to me about what was going on with my eyes and shared various options with me in terms of correcting my vision. After the exam his assistants helped me pick out 2 great pair of glasses and the prices were very reasonable. I was even given a discount because I purchased more than one pair of glasses out of pocket. I look forward to now having a great optometrist to establish a long term relationship with.
