They sent text after text to get my husband and I to schedule and then when we finally did, constant, repeated reminders. They called 3 times in the span of a week to confirm, not to mention text messages. We were late to the appointment and was told only one of us could be seen, which was me. When we got there for the appointment, the first thing I was told was I was not due for an exam until April next year! I was truly upset! If the front desk was worth their paychecks, they would have confirmed this at the time of the appointment! So, I've lost out on a morning of work for nothing. So, check your policies before making an appointment, because they don't.

All online. Realize that Dr Bever isn't accepting new patients, and try to call in for another appt / clarity on who the Dr would be. Called 6 times. VM every time. Called on a Monday (they are off) and left a VM. Got a text this morning, which I've asked not to be texted. Email or phonecall. Called 4 times today, saw an appt available for 1:45 and wanted to see if it was actually available and who would be the Dr. (I've called about 6-8 times since my initial booking / referral in 2 weeks) Randomly called about 20 mins ago, got someone abrupt and rude who was more about getting me off the phone than to address my questions. Made me feel stupid that I 'didn't see the note while getting set up for the appt'. You'll be put with someone else. I ask ok... is it always this hard to get someone on the phone? I was told there are 2 people at the desk all morning, my phone is the problem (yeah, calling from 3 different devices that all didn't connect right?). And when asking about the text? "Oh that was me, its easier so I don't have to call people 'that early' in the morning. The text was received 9:38am, your business opens at 10am. What are you talking about? "Aside from all of that, do you want to book with Dr So and so or not?" I choose not, thank you. And never again. I see the majority of these reviews are nonsense - I wanted clarity on what I was booked for and the person on the other end of the phone decided she was going to wake up and said "I choose violence' apparently.

Long story short the Dr and Staff made sure I received all benefits that my insurance coverage so not Out of pocked would be minimal. Appointments were very convenient and they worked very diligently to ensure I had the correct description. These are your eyes don't skimp... Best to everyone...

I've never needed glasses before, but as I and getting "less young" i have…read morenotices some need to have my eyes checked out....I called a few places to compare rates on comprehensive eye exams and ended up making an appointment here because they were competitive and their website described the technology they used which was not lacking. I was able to make an appointment for both my son and I within a few days. We arrived for the appointment and were quickly seen. The office was nice and tide (and had some really cool art......animals w/ glasses anyone? :) ) fDr. Tran was kind and he explained everything along the way. They use non0invasive technology that did not require that we have our eyes dial aged and also provided the doc with lots more info to review. Dr. Tran brought me around the screen to show my images of my eyes vs. what a "bad" eye issue would look like. He was upfront and where applicable he reassured me with what to expect and what was normal. We had planned on ordered int classed online to keep cost down, but the location has an optometrist with a selection of glasses. To be fair, there prices were not bad at all, just a little above the online guys....which would be expected. Of course they definitely recommended that we ordered from them n order to use the professional optometrist for measurements, etc.....understandable and fair.....but they were not overly pushy. We left with our prescriptions and when I was ordering classes I decided I needed a "reading only" paid and it was easy to call. Them back and get a Reading only prescription. They use a patient portal that I was easily able to log into and retrieve my prescriptions too. .

The staff is friendly and were extremely helpful in helping me pick out my new frames. Dr. Macdonald is nice and takes his time to explain to you what is going on with your eyesight and possible options for you. The frames and contacts are a little pricy but you are at least supporting a local business rather than a big name company if that's something you find important.
