FANTASTIC EXPERIENCE! Although Dr. Henry was not my regular eye doctor, he will be now. My regular optician was closed for the holiday weekend, and I needed an appointment ASAP. I went online and made a same day appointment. I called to confirm since it was less than an hour away. I spoke with LAURA who was helpful, friendly, and knowledgable! When I arrived, I was promptly greeted and ushered to fill out my paper work. Dr. Henry saw me right on time, and was even able to get me a pair of loaner contacts as a temporary solution. I couldn't be happier with my experience at Target Optical, with Dr. Henry, or his staff! A huge thanks for their professionalism and availability! read more

Not sure why this optical has bad reviews. Everyone is very sweet and helpful. It didn't take more than 10 minutes for my eye exam and my glasses were ready to be picked up in less than 7 days. read more

EXTREMELY SLOW Most of the places I got for my eyes takes 10-25 minutes average, this place TAKES HOURS and you can see why. They chat a lot read more

Made online appt a few mos ago that I am trying to change. I wantd to go back there even though my favorite eye dr has left. There is no online ability to change, no one answers the phone, and the voicemails are full. What??? My issue began the night before when a member of their staff called me to take my insurance and said "I was good to go". Little did I know, I was not good to go as they did NOT fully accept my insurance. You would think any business running an ethical practice would have told you that from the start, but no. I go in the next day, they are friendly and helpful, everything you would expect. I finally go take my exam after waiting almost an hour, (I wish that had been the most of my worries). I say I am here for new frames and the lady asks if I also want contact prescription. I suppose my second mistake was not asking how much extra it would be, right behind my first mistake not asking on the phone if I was fully covered after I was led to believe I was after I was hit with "good to go". She does a basic eye exam super quick, nothing extra done by her to take extra time to do a 'contact' exam. I go out to pay, expecting to pay my $10 copay and it turns out I'm being charged $80....for no extra service provided minus checking a box that says 'contacts'. All I wanted were frames and at NO POINT, did anyone tell me that 1. I was not covered fully (they told me I was part of an 'open access' because they were to afraid to tell me I was out of network) and 2. that a contact exam (that really did not take place or exist) would cost me an extra $70. Needless to say, the staff and management running this place have no ethics whatsoever. I called in and spoke to a so called manager who placed all the blame on the doctors side of things. As much as that is probably true, no one, absolutely NO ONE took any accountability for ripping off someone living paycheck to paycheck. They're just here to make their money just like any other greedy business. read more

We had another great experience at this optical location at Target. We were picking up our glasses and Jeremy was awesome in getting them aligned and perfect. Also Jade, on our previous visit, was great in giving us the options when we placed our orders. Wonderful location. Andy is an excellent manager at this location, very friendly, personable, and informative. read more

I booked the next available appointment online (about 10 days away) for an exam (contact lenses). I answered every question accurately (including that I never wore contacts). I get a call the day before stating that the doctor has a policy of not testing any newbies for contacts on Saturdays because of how busy it is on Saturdays (gotta keep that $$$$$ rolling in, to hell with the health of some jerks eyes). They then shamelessly ask me if I'd like to reschedule. I'd rather gouge my eyes then do any business with Target ever again. I'd rather burn my money then spend another dime with this unprofessional company. read more

Very unprofessional and unorganized office. Was called and had a VM left informing me to call back to confirm appt. I called back, spoke with a guy and confirmed it. I show up for my appointment.. first thing they say "we don't accept your insurance." (Mind you.. on target optical website it clearly states that they DO accept my insurance even though its out of network, it's one of the 2 out of network insurances that they DO accept). So I ask the receptionist.. why wasn't I told this when I confirmed my appointment? Her answer... "I don't know who you talked to". Really?? What a waste of time. I will happily take my business elsewhere! Don't come here.. honestly Walmart optical service is better and that says a lot. read more

Andy is absolutely amazing! I have never been to a target optical before today, and after dealing with Andy, I will never ever go elsewhere. He has made a lifetime customer out of me! Thank you Andy! read more

Ordered sunglasses and reading/computer glasses. First off the sunglasses hit my cheeks when I got them (they just didn't fit) and after 3 weeks of waiting for my reading/computer glasses had to cancel because they just never arrived, every time I called they said it would be in this week and finally after 3 weeks, I ordered them online and received them within 5 days for about 50% of the cost. I have been going to Target Optical for several years and I have noticed that the service seems to be getting worse each year. I called to speak to the manager about my experience and they never called me back. You have lost a customer for life..... Tired of paying too much for crappy service. read more

I have been using Target Optical for the past 7 years for my annual contact lenses exam covered by me employment vision insurance plan. Recently a new doctor has taken over the practice and the staff is nice enough but clueless other attempting to up sale over priced glasses. The new doctor is personable and friendly and they did provide the an extra set of contact lenses for my vacation while I wait on my order to be delivered. The reason for a 3 star score is related to new shady insurance billing practices. Over the years I have only been required to pay for the contact lense exam which is 100% covered by my vision insurance plan include my visiting to this Target Optiocal over the past years. Today they chareged me a $40 contact lense fee and only disclosing the fee after the exam was completed. I explained a fitting should have been included in the standard contact lenses exam and they insisted that the extra fee was to check my vision again after I put the contact lenses in my eyes. My prescription did not change from the prior prescription and the brand did not change from the brand I have been wearing for years. It appears to me they are padding the bill by charging additional fees that are not standard, required or covered by your insurance plan. Internet research and a conversation with my insurance company confirmed they should not have charged me the fitting fee and billed my insurance for a contact lenses exam. Be careful with this location and be knowledgeable about your insurance coverage. They will not disclose the correct fees prior to the exam being completed, then try to strong arm you into paying additional fees. read more

I purchased my contact lenses at Target. They told me if I did not use the contacts I could bring them back no questions asked as long as they were not opened. Today I drove 40 minutes to return the contacts that were not opened and they would not take them back. Needless to say I will not be using Targets service ever again. And the employee was very rude as well. read more

T.O. offers a cheap anti reflective product for your lenses and then they make you feel like you're the cheap one for buying it. The male sales person made me feel like I made that choice because of my insurance. Little does he know that I do pay for my insurance and the $299. For deductible, so they were not cheap. They take your $25. Every time they have to replace them. Poor customer service. Also, when your product gets there, they never call you. You have to call them to find out. Too bad I love Target, however Target vision will never see me there again! read more

I've been buying glasses for me and my family here for the passed few years but lately it's not like it used to be. The quality of the lenses and frames are really bad, And when I come to complain the stuff always asking for the warranty. It's just a bad glasses, it has nothing to do with warranty and the stuff there don't understand . They lost me as a client. read more

I come here for my annual eye exam and yesterday was my second visit. I made an appointment online which was very convenient. The whole staff is amazing... They are very welcoming and fun. They are all super nice and absolutely helpful unlike other places I've gone to before where everything was just so "routine" , almost robotic. They have beautiful frames to choose from. This time around i decided it was time to get contacts. Dr. Henry gave me a pair to try. That evening, when i removed the contacts, i noticed my eyes were bloodshot. i figured it was irritation from the contacts. I thought to sleep t it off, but the redness didn't go away. I called first thing in the morning and was able to be seen that afternoon. Dr. Henry prescribe some eye drops and told me to come back in a week to try a different brand of contacts. I would definitely come back next year. read more

Absolutely terrible experience. Appointment was made 4 days in advance and they canceled it even though I confirmed it. At the time I made the appointment face to face they did not tell me about having to call to confirm my appointment or it would be given away. I was then told to wait an hour as a walk-in. No apology, nor concern. Never going back. read more

I went to this Target optical to get my spectacles adjusted because they were too loose on my face and it was busy. I was attended to by Meyling. She was prompt in fixing my spectacles and very kind. The thing I appreciated the most was the fact that she dropped her bags (she was clocked out and on her way out) when she saw me and still attended to me. Most people will walk out once they are clocked out but she was very kind to help me out. read more

Great when inside the place, customer service not so well. I'd give it 5 stars if they improve Custer service over the phone.

Terrible experience!!! I ordered contacts on 3/2/2015 which I still haven't received. I call several times inquiring about them. The response I received each time I called was "They aren't in yet. We will call you when it come in." I went in today in person because I was completely out of contacts. When I spoke with the manager she told me the contracts were there all along and I would need to setup an appointment to get fitted. I ask can you fit me in today since you screwed up. She said, no. I told her I just want money back and I will go somewhere else. Please people do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. The customer service at this location is terrible. read more

I am usually not the person to write bad reviews or complain on these apps; however, I hope this can be viewed as a constructive feedback. I picked this location to get my contact lens exam because it is near my home. The first appointment that I made was rescheduled because the optometrist couldn't make it in on time. The scheduling team was very apologetic towards this situation and I understand that there are unforeseen circumstances at times so I went ahead and rescheduled it for another day. When I finally got my trial contacts, I was sent off to try them at home without a follow up since the brand of my contact lenses didn't change. Although I understand the theory, the optometrist did change the prescription and it would have been helpful to try it on at the store with the optometrist upon pick up. The new trial contact lenses were giving me worse vision than my previous prescription. When I called to schedule a follow up, they didn't have any availabilities until two weeks out from the date I called. I made an appointment two weeks out but I had to cancel this appointment and reschedule due schedule conflict that came about a few days later. I rescheduled for 4:15pm; however, when I got to the appointment, they told me my appointment was at 3:45pm. When I was scheduling the appointment, I made sure to record it on my phone under my calendar as I was getting a verbal feedback from the scheduling associate. To resolve this issue, I was told to wait and see if they can get me in; however no one approached me to do so. I am very disappointed in their service and will not be coming back to Target Optical in Hunter's Creek in the future unless it is more organized and true to the verbal promises. read more
