Overprice for contact lenses, 1 box (6 counts) $136, I went to the other optical, it's only $89.50. The employee who worked on 04/18 after 5:00 pm was unprofessional. I wondered if she was aware I paid for my insurance, it's not a free item. Please coach your employee, zero copay does not mean you are giving free items. Not recommended. Find other optical, better pay membership at Costco to get 60% of contact lenses price vs this optical. read more

I've only been to this location twice for something simple as eye contacts and I left both times feeling awful due to the customer service aspect. There are two ladies, one elderly and the other with ombré hair, an olive skin tone, and gold framed glasses, that made it hard to even stay a second longer due to their treatment. I was met with condescending attitudes and passive aggressive behavior throughout the process of trying out contacts and going over my insurance details. I can't imagine what the work environment is like for the other employees who were respectful and patient. For behavior like that to leak through to customers sends a huge message. If I were you, I'd just go else where that accepts your insurance. read more

Both my husband and I were given VERY wrong prescriptions. I can see better WITHOUT the prescription that was given by this place than I can WITH. There's no amount of "adjusting" to a wrong prescription that makes everything blurry. Not sure how this happens with the technology available now but clearly this place is not reliable. I do NOT recommend having your eyes checked here as it's a waste of time and money. read more

I really enjoy this Target Optical. Yes, you will be put on hold when you call in. Yes, they might be late in seeing you for your appointment. But when you are getting care, you are the top priority. My dad has trouble with balance, but he wasn't made to feel rushed getting in and out of chairs. Lisa was also very patient in explaining all the options for glasses and answering any questions we have. read more

I'M FURIOUS!! What a rinky dink operation!! I called and made my appointment at Target to get my eyes checked. They called me back (a female) and asked why would I want to do an appointment if per my insurance company I don't need one yet unless I want to pay $150. of course I don't but she said I'd need to go pick up my old RX so they can order my contacts. I was traveling all week and unable to go pick up the RX until today. I then take it directly to Target Optical only to be treated like a complete idiot because "your RX is expired and you need a new exam." Are you freaking kidding me?!?! I could have done it on my appointment last week THAT YOU CANCELLED BECAUSE ITS TOO SOON FOR MY EXAM....PER YOU!!!! So now I have no appointment, no contacts and my glasses aren't great. THANKS FOR NOTHING TARGET!!!! Patronizing female at the desk with dark hair and olive skin repeating to me how I need an appointment and it's against the law to help me! YEA, REPEAT IT AGAIN BECAUSE I'M A COMPLETE IDIOT!!! Thanks for wasting my time, infuriating me and creating this entire mess. Target Optical is a dream. It's the sprinkles on top of an already perfect sundae (because shopping @ target as is is already amazing, duh)! Dr Chang was amazing! Super friendly and beyond kind and attentive. She made my eye exam a walk in the park. Most of the staff was nice and friendly for the most part as well. They have a decent selection to choose from and their prices are reasonable. They offer online scheduling and text updates to notify you when your frames have arrived which is super convenient and helpful. I'll definitely be scheduling my next eye exam here again. read more

Got an email telling me I had a appointment that I didn't know I had. No big deal I was due for an exam anyway. I went in only to find out they had to reschedule me because their was no doctor on staff. My next exam was Saturday at 11:20. I showed up 10 minutes early for any paper work. I finished it by 11:20 and they said they'll take me back in a few minutes. My 11:20 appointment started at roughly 11:45. Nobody even apologized or brought up the wait time. The exam itself was straight forward enough. Only issue was the doc was the least professional looking one there. No lab coat and very little regard for personal hygiene. She was also in the middle stages of periodontal disease, which made the exam very uncomfortable. Other than that the entire staff was quiet and not very friendly. Honestly I probably won't go back there. It's not all that hard to make an environment warm and friendly. read more

Do not trust their online booking system. I had an appointment scheduled for 4:20 PM at the S Cotton location however I was informed it was actually at the Litchfield location somehow. Upon arriving at the Litchfield location I was told I did not have an appointment. I am disappointed with the service. The same mixup with appointment locations happened to my partner too. I wasn't sure at first about trying the target optical but This place was absolutely amazing!!! I had a problem with my insurance and Lisa the women at the front was so helpful! When I got there I didn't hate to wait more then 5 minutes. everyone was extremely helpful and nice. I got my eye exam the doctor was great everyone was very professional, they even cleaned and adjusted the glasses I have now. I will definitely be going back. I called and asked if they had the digital eye exam capability where I didn't have to answer to the "is 1 better than 2" routine. They said yes and they also took my insurance United HealthCare. I get a call the day before my appt at about 4 pm (my appt is 10 am the next day) and they tell me I don't have the specific kind of United Healthcare insurance that they take. I decide to keep my appointment and pay the exam cost out of pocket because after-all, it is suppose to be digital. I am getting my eyes checked and the O.D. test my pressure and then goes to the regular eye test..."Is 1 better than 2?, how about this...3 better than 4" I am pissed. I asked him about the digital test and he said this is all they have...SO disappointing!!! Never again! read more
