Our first sets of frames and lenses were fine, even though my clip-ons were too difficult to put on while driving. The service was fine. However, when I updated my lenses, I got the lousiest lenses I've ever bought. The expensive coating began to scratch and peel within 4 or 5 months. This was during the pandemic, so I didn't really have any recourse. I'll not buy light-changing lenses ever again. Today my wife went in for a replacement of her magnetic clip-ons and they told her they had no record of her buying them there. We haven't shopped for glasses anywhere else since 2018. They suggested my wife forgot that she bought them where we get our exams. It was all on my wife, not on the store. We failed as customers. The clerk was very pleasant and responsive, but the manager couldn't have been less interested. She wasn't curt; she just didn't care. We'll not be going back.

I'm not taking it down entirely because they couldn't explain why their prescription was so different from Lenscrafters. So, while I'm happy I got a refund, I'm not happy with having no good explanation for the difference.

Staff was unfriendly and Dr. Broussard was probably the most gruff medical professional I have ever met in my life. When I scheduled my appointment, I made it clear I wanted both a glasses and contact exam. I got into her office for the exam and told her this. She was apparently unaware, and bluntly told me that it was going to be an additional $50 for the contact exam, which is silly because anyone with a good job has eye insurance. Staff could not recommend specific contact lenses to me, and eventually became frustrated when I was asking questions about specific lenses. After the exam, I was charged an additional $40 for "new imaging" instead of dilation. The doctor mentioned this technology but did not disclose that it would cost extra. That is not acceptable. Patients should be clearly informed of any additional charges before services are performed. When I raised the issue, staff did not provide a clear explanation or attempt to address the concern. This was not transparent and did not meet basic expectations for patient communication. I would not recommend this office based on this experience.

I was checked and had an appointment with the ophthalmologist who told me I had the option for a small prescription as I still have 20/20 vision. Then the sales lady pressured me into getting some glasses that I was assured would be free and covered through my insurance, where they then proceeded to charge me over $400. Needless to say I was unimpressed with their tactics. I did opt for a cheaper lens made out of like plexiglass or something. Still costed me over hundred dollars out-of-pocket. Also, the sales associate who checked me out, did nothing but talk bad about working for LensCrafters the entire time and insisted I hook her up with a work from home position like I have. Was very unprofessional. Right after I left I called to just cancel the order because the glasses were optional and not really needed and they basically said no after an extended hold. So I'm sure that if you go they will you over sell you on something you don't actually need and you'll leave regretting ever going.
