This Target is going downhill. I was there on a Tuesday and there were two transients, right by the entrance, 1 was asking for money and the other was LITERALLY SMOKING CRACK, when I got inside, I asked the customer service clerk (her name was SELENE) to call security about the incident and she replied "ok. I will". I stood there for a minute or two while she fidgeted with the walk-in talkie and then she just put it down and called a customer. They either obviously don't care or perhaps the security can't do anything about it, but how about call them non emergency police? I wish this Target would finally get it! Customers do not enjoy being harassed by pan handlers every single time. You complain and they do nothing about it. They are not only at the entrance to the Parking Area, but at he entrance to the store itself. They get you when you enter and leave and as you wait to exit the parking area. They have several campgrounds by the riverbed on the 605 adjacent to this store. Close the store or get rid of the campground. They can be dangerous to your customers at worse and harassing at best. Show that you care please. You've spent tons of effort remodeling the store, yet things get bad the second you step out. Do something management! read more

I came here after experiencing 2 different pick up locations and they were the kindest staff out of all 3. We are in a pandemic and pick up orders are not easy during this time however, this was the only target I walked into and the staff was ready for its customers! They actually greeted me at the door and then asked if I needed help. Once I let them know that I was there for a pick-up someone went to get my stuff and another person asked if I needed any help .. Maybe it's my fault for being so trusting of Target employees and thinking they'd have their sh*t together. I mean, they represent the company after all. You'd think that they're very careful with drive up orders considering the world's current situation. This store has what I order in stock, sometimes it's the only store that has everything I need in one place. Silly me for thinking "cool, they said everything was in there." Only to find out of my two orders, only one is here. I love it!!! I don't have all the time in the world to go into the store, nor do I want to walk in. I am a target loved...but just not this location. The parking lot is shared with office depot and starkbucks...which you would think is sufficient parking. I was wrong. It was super jammed pack and crazy cars driving around like hell bats trying to get a spot. I entered the store and from the get go, the organization was not like any other target I had visited in the past. Even though there are nicely labeled sections, there were random products on the floors. Many store associates passed by the mess and did not even take a second look. They have nice display areas which were meant to be welcoming but the mess made it dumpy.. The store associates couldn't care less about customer service and take their sweet time ringing people up despite of the long line behind him. This location has everything I need and more. It was beautifully organized and color coded kind of reminded me of Target in Highland, IN without the snow gear year round. It was clean and fully stocked, the Bullseye playground spot was very neat and had their Halloween decorations out. I would have bought more but I need to be more disciplined and only buy what I went in there for. Their Starbucks inside looks like an actual Starbucks with plenty of tables and chairs. When I got my order there were only 2 of the six items I ordered, even though the other items were on the shelf. I know because I walked over and looked. I ordered a bicycle online. I get an email telling me to come pick up the bike. I get there and they say "The bike is here but we have no one to build it." Their new policy is that they can't let people take bikes that have not been put together. Fine. I come back 3 days later. "Sorry, the guy who builds these (builds these? It's just attaching the wheels and seat!) isn't here." Then the next day I get an email saying that my time to pick up my item has expired. Are you freaking kidding me? What a joke. I cannot understand how it would take 5 hrs to get orders together. If it weren't for the outstanding customer service by Melissa M., not to mention my Groupon deal, I would probably give Target Portrait Studio in Norwalk 3 stars. She wasn't our photographer, but Melissa helped us in all other facets. She's a 5-star employee. For our appointment in November (2014), we arrived about 15 minutes before our scheduled appointment... only to find that the family right before us was late, not to mention there was ANOTHER family waiting to take their pictures. Ha! On top of that, there was a single employee (Melissa) present to check people in AND take pictures. After we waited about a half hour more to take our photos, our children who at the time were only 3-months and 16-months-old were fairly cranky. We still managed to get a few good holiday pictures out of the session. A few tips... Be patient. Make an appointment when your children are typically bright-eyed and happy. Timing is everything with little ones. It sucks when plans don't go accordingly, but children feed off of your energy... refer to the first tip & get great smiles! Know what poses and shots of which family members you want & communicate them to the photographer. Otherwise, they'll try to take the opportunity from you. The actual studio room is small. It might get a little stuffy, but you have only about 10 minutes for your entire shoot. Right after photos, the ordering process is super rushed. Simply ask for more time if you need it. Their your pictures. Your money. Buy a Groupon deal. The one I chose was $29.99 for one photo shoot, including a "gallery-wrap print, free sitting fees, & 40% off additional portrait purchases, including the full-album CD." My Purchase Summary 16x20 Gallery Wrap (usually $174.99) Free Sitting Fee (usually $39.96) Album Image CD (usually $149.99) $50 gift (for the Portrait Studio) 6 free holiday cards Special Offer CD Credit = $-60.00 Grand Total = $89.99 The holiday cards were printed on photo paper. I use this target for drive up orders since the pandemic. They used to be on it here, orders banged out and ready in 2 hours or less. For the past year + they can't seem to get it together. Pickup orders take over 24 hours at times, never less than 3. It's very frustrating when there is no consistency in their service. Every other order is usually missing something in it that was the main item that caused the order to be placed. Stock status is often off. And don't bother going inside to inquire about your order that's in "processing", the staff here that deals with drive up and walk up orders don't want to hear it. Several occasions encountered rude associates before we could even speak our issue. Target had it figured out during the pandemic, but post pandemic it's a mess. read more

Splitting the difference. Had to go to this Target as my local Target in Pico Rivera has no optical. The service in optical was great. Quick and friendly, I was done in no time. I was actually impressed with the overall cleanliness and the friendly workers, until I got home and checked my receipt and saw that the checker charged me $11.99 for an item I didn't purchase. I'd go back and demand a refund if it was not for the ridiculous gas prices right now. So do yourselves a favor and check your receipts before you leave this store. read more

The rating is for EDGAR. Another customer and I were looking for an item that said in stock on the app but was no where to be found out on the shelves. We bumped into Edgar who was restocking in the food section and asked him about the product. Edgar kindly stopped what he was doing and walked with us. Took us to the area where the merchandise is usually at but none was there. Edgar asked an employee Marissa about the items but she didn't seem to care about us looking for it. She told Edgar that they should be on the shelves (which we had already checked with Edgar) she didn't seem nice when Edgar said oh it says we have 20 or 25 in stock. But either way Edgar Went to check in the back stock and luckily the product was found! Edgar is definitely the man!!! Best customer service. Well I can see why this target has low reviews. First off this is one of the dirtiest target I have ever been too. The restrooms alone are disgusting. Everything is such a mess and I don't think they have enough employees who care to keep the store clean. We were looking for some items and couldn't find them. It seemed as if employees went out of their way to not help us. I know that some people may just pick something up and leave it somewhere but I think that employees just don't care. I was at the Norwalk Target on Firestone Blvd. yesterday. I have not been there for more than a year. Things looked different. That makes sense to me due to COVID-19. No mirrors. No dressing rooms. That is just the way it has to be. After floundering around the store in the women's bra department, it was finally time to check out. This is when I met Errol Parot. He helped me every step of the way at the self-service checkout points. Not having a mirror to see if a blouse looked like it might fit, he assured me that would not be a problem. The return policy understands the new issues with returns. He also helped me get a gift receipt for part of the order. He was informative, courteous and very professional. Store interior looks nice but the parking lot does not feel safe. While I was there m, there was a man walking around all of the cars and looking underneath them. I also tried to return a pair of pants but was told I couldn't without a physical receipt because the location was currently out of stock on that item. Was told to try the Garden Grove Target, where I bought it. At Garden Grove they showed me that any store could have returned it using the receipt on my Target App. read more

I am writing this review do to my horrible experience I had with a target member named Kayla (Auth code: 072849) who was over seeing the self check out line. Her approach and demeanor was extremely rude and self righteous. I come to this target all the time and never once have I experienced such rudeness from an associate. There job is to help answer questions if a customer may have any. It is not there job to be condescending or malicious. I understand it is the end of the night and everyone would like to go home on time but that does not give an associate the right to act the way she did. I came here not too long ago to get some fish food for my sisters nephew's fish. Still the same Target I have come to known with its obvious qualities. -An eatery with hot dogs, ice cream, chips, beverages, pizza and that Target popcorn many love. -Plenty of well spaced aisles with neatly organized products -A glitzy looking electronic section and commendable toy section. -Shoppers who walk faster and stop less than Wal-mart shoppers. On some days/times you have to park faraway and if you need help you have to find someone. The service is typically good and overall shopping experience here is good. read more

I placed an order for pick up around 7:20 am and they had 5 items in stock. Once I placed my order, there were only 4 left. They took close to 4 hours to let me know the item wasn't in stock anymore. Other Target stores take less than an 1 hour to let me know. What's the pointing of buying it online and schedule for pick up if they don't acknowledge the orders and tell you super late that they don't have the order anymore. Horrible. read more
