The cleanest Target I've ever been too. Customer Service needs some work. I was trying to print a registry and after 3 tries, I asked for help and was told the printer was broke. Anybody ever hear of an out-of-order sign? When I can't find an item on the shelf, it's easy to find a team member to find it for me. read more

Love this store, great customer service, awesome selection of clothes for kids and shoes. Love the style of home decor, expecially bathroom decor. Not too expensive. And a plus that there is Starbucks in the store, makes me come more often. read more

They have the absolute worst pharmacy possible. The older pharmacy with the glasses is creepy and weird. They literally have a problem filling everything! I've transferred 4 prescriptions to another cvs and they filed it with no problem right away. This pharmacy is just really difficult and I highly recommend going to another cvs. For some really weird reason this pharmacy refuses to use good rx if u have insurance. They refuse it saying u have private insurance but sometimes a coupon is better. Once again with the good rx, the other cvs pharmacies around the Hammond area have no problem taking the coupon over ur insurance. This pharmacy always gives people a hard time where the surrounding cvs stores have no problems like this pharmacy. I hate even having to give them one star. Worst pharmacy ever! read more

The management at this particular Target really need to learn about customer satisfaction. I went in to price match an item. It was plain as day according to their price match policy. The customer service cashier called over the assistant manager and refused. Then I got the store manager (David) who did everything he could to not price match. Finally said it was his right to refuse to match. Saw the same item in stock in St. John. So, I went there. Not only did they price match, they did it for 2 of the items I wanted. My experience with the Target Pharmacy staff has been mostly negative. Most of the them are unfriendly. They act as if they are put out. They have acted in a resistant way when I have asked for price matching. I used to use this pharmacy all the time but now I go there only when I absolutely need to because it is nearby. I do like the store for the most part and the grocery dept. and the clerks at the check out are nice. But I DO NOT recommend the pharmacy at all. read more

Management rarely attends to the build up of trash in the southeast parking lot and on the east side of the building. It is a constant eyesore. As a teenager in my first job we were taught that the outside of the building needs to be as clean as the inside. During slow periods the manager would have us go outside and pick up anything that did not belong there. The Target manager needs to learn better retailing. First impressions matter. I'm surprised a town like Munster puts up with this. My yard would never be allowed to look like this. read more

We moved into Munster about two and a half years ago about a mile away from the Munster Target. We would go there at least two times a week whenever we needed anything. The store was always clean and well stocked. Well, how times have changed. It starts in the parking lot. Everyone just feels free to throw there garbage anywhere they please, just not the garbage cans. Thats not really target's fault, but they should have someone out there picking it up. Walking around the mens clothing department it looked like the clothes were taken off the rack and then thrown to the ground. Not just one or two pieces of clothing, I'm talking twenty at the very least. As I walked around some more, I noticed this in all departments. Another thing is the shelves look empty, nothing is ever stocked up. I've looked for items and shelf would be empty, would go back daily to get said item and never any luck. This store has really gotten bad over the last year and we have no problem now going to the target in highland. Little more of a drive but the store is clean and always stocked! read more

Huge fan of Target, but this store is a joke. The women's section in this store was absolutely a headache to look at. Every single section had different items mixed up and in all the wrong places! ALL of the folded shirts on the shelves were curled up and pushed back making the sizes impossible to find. I knew exactly what I was coming in for, had to look in about 5 different sections just to snag the right size. It's not a huge section, shouldn't take an hour to find something simple. read more

I love Target. I actually call Target my happy place. I love using cartwheel and my Target Red Card for the extra discounts and I always find what I need plus some fun extras. However, only go to this target if you have an extra hour to spare waiting in line. I've worked retail so I understand how staffing hours work, however do not have non cashier employees hang out around closed registers and crazy long lines in the lanes that are open. I tried in store pickup and waited (after I got my email stating my items were ready) for 40 minutes. I deal with it because it is Target and again I love Target. It was like Christmas morning when I saw the self check out lines ready for use but something always goes wrong and again I'm waiting and waiting while employees just look at me like I am having a good time. If you love Target and have the extra time to wait to pay go there it's a clean store and nice layout. read more

I've been to a lot of targets and this is definitely the best, not only because it is the cleanest (even after the floods) but also because it always has everything you need in stock. The fact that they have a pizza hut and starbucks doenst hurt. The prices are pretty low and they have great deals that save you more money. the lines are never ridiculously long so you can get in and get out relatively quickly. my favorite part has to be the dollar isle right at the beginning. Its just little do-dads but they make for fun gifts. read more

i LUV Target...... i could spend all day in here.... wait.....i have.... many times :-) ....yah yah there is a Starbucks inside but sorri but i stop at Munster Doughnut for coffee...... lets see $1.00 large at MD..... or $4.25 for same size at Starbucks ? no brainer.....oh and Pizza Hut inside,,,,,i was bummed when they took out the lil Target Cafe......if you ordered off the the Kids menu hehe you could get a grilled cheese with 2 strips of bacon on it for 99 cents :-) ....... now on to Target itself :-) so very clean...... everyone goes out of there way to help you....even the wannabe hipsters......check out the 2 little $1.00 aisles right at the front.... lots of cool tee's ........ cheap food gadgets which im a magnet for.....and the best part....Jones Soda..... $3.99 for a 12 pack of cans...... cant be beat.....make mine diet green apple please :-))) then if yur hungry after...... look out the front door.....what do yu see?? hmmm...... The pharmacy department could not find my prescription that i needed refilled because I didn't have the Rx number from the last time I had it filled. The clerk was rude and told me I had never had it filled there. I told her they filled that prescription several times. After further rudeness from the clerk, the pharmacist finally came over and filled the prescription and when I asked him if I needed to ask my dr. to re-write the prescription so they could find it he said no that I just need to bring the Rx label in next time so they can find it. ??? How did they find it the first time when I didn't have an Rx number???? This should not be required with the computer system. Anyway, it got even worse. When I told the clerk I also had another prescription that was called in by my dr. she got the medicine and said is it _____ (the name of the medicine) ? I said I don't know the name of the medicine and after a sarcastic laugh she said "you don't even the know the name of your medicine". I said no I don't, but if my eye dr. called it in and it has my name on it then that's what I want. My husband stopped getting his medicine at this same Target because his medicine was frequently short. I called and complained and each time the pharmacist said they have never received complaints about that. I told her yes they have because I have complained before. So if you get prescriptons filled there COUNT THE PILLS. I will never fill a prescription there again and will gladly pay more at another pharmacy instead of dealing with the rudeness of this pharmacy. read more
