He was super friendly, honest, was there when we needed him and gave us space when we needed to think about things. We set up a delivery and the gentlemen who came were Zeke and Carlos. They were extremely friendly, helpful and professional. Also very strong, they couldn't quite make it up our long driveway so had to carry our furniture a good bit of way to the house. They handled our furniture with care and also didn't let the extra work of carrying our furniture get in the way of their friendly demeanor. They also took our old furniture out of the house for us and carried a rocking chair to the basement. Overall excellent customer service from the time we walked through the barn doors to the time the delivery guys left our house. We got a great deal on nice furniture, I would highly recommend this business to anyone needing to purchase furniture.

A place that…read morecannot put prices on their website, trying to pressure me to call is about all I need to see. They may be great, but I don't need to be told to call and jump thru the hoops of some salesperson just to get a price. I am already considering over an hour drive to go get a recliner. I would like to have more than just a catalog picture. Price as well as what fabric options before I burn a tank of gas to get there. Now they may have a wonderful staff and service. I do not know yet. The website and it's lack of information on the pieces I was interested in and the "call for best price" and "request more information" forms to be emailed what I need to know (and giving them my email address in the process) was enough to put me off. Until that changes, I will look elsewhere.

I bought a split king bed with 2 different mattresses and an adjustable base. I purchased new pillows, sheets, and mattress covers, along with a professional massage chair. I paid the full amount in cash when we checked out. Fast forward 3 years, almost to the exact date, and I had to make a claim about my purple mattress that is completely ripped on the bottom(underneath) part of the mattress and on the top of the mattress the entire left side of the mattress is completely separated. It has a foam side that is against the purple portion of the mattress. I filed a claim with Big Sandy's and Purple to get a new mattress. Purple agreed that the mattress needs to be replaced. I spoke with a staff member who told me I had a couple of different options. I could keep the mattress and do nothing,or I could exchange it for the same mattress, or I could bring in the old one and get 60% of the amount spent which would be $1340 out of $2200 and go somewhere else or last option would be pick out a mattress there and if it was more than $2200 I would pay the difference or if it was under the $2200 then I would get the difference in cash. I told her that I wanted to talk to my husband about it, but I was sure we would be in very soon. My husband and I went to Big Sandy's and talked to the employees there at the time and went over what I was told and that we wanted to pick out a new mattress. The employee we we're talking to said that she didn't know anything about what I was told and that they don't usually give cash refunds, they do store credit but I could go pick out a mattress and she would talk to someone else about it. I picked out a mattress that was quite a bit cheaper than the other mattress, so I would have a difference of a little over $800. We talked to the girl from check-in and I believe a manager of the store. We told him everything we were told previously from an employee over the phone, and he stated that they don't do cash refunds only store credit. I told him, but that's not what I was told. He responded that it didn't matter what I was told. I then said I have nothing I need for my home, nor do I have room for anything. I told him that I didn't want the mattress, but they were not giving me options. I told him I wanted my money back to go somewhere else where my mattress would last longer than 3 years. I told him I spent over 7k that day and paid over 2k for something that was completely ruined in 3 years. I also stated that I want to buy from a company that not only stands behind their products but stand behind what they tell their customers whether it's wrong or not. I said that regardless of whether the staff member was wrong, they should do what I was told and deal with the employee about the information that was wrong with just that staff member alone at a different time. The manager said he would ask a higher up what to do and also talk to corporations and see what they said. We were informed that they would call us and let us know. About a week later, they called us and told us that they still have to talk to corporate, but our options are either to keep the trashed mattress or pick out a new one and have store credit. I myself don't want to get anything from them, but what choice do I have. I can either sleep on a mattress that is ruined and deal with the pain from sleeping on it, or pick out a new one and hope that the new one lasts longer than 3 years. I will never go there again and I will tell anyone that will listen not to go there and waste your money because they don't stand behind their products or their staff.

He gave me all of the things I needed to know about the mattress in question, including price and delivery. (I did all of this one the phone from down state) I told him that I would get back to him. I went and called other stores, both here up North and down state. To get prices and delivery and the same mattress. Turns out Big Sandy was the best on both. I called Andrew and placed my order. Now is was wait and see on delivery because every one else was longer than Sandy. Well. Sandy was right on target. They delivered when they said they would. I am very satisfied with my purchase and would buy there again.
