I was greeted when I walked in and I had fun browsing the shelves. The displays were full and welcoming, and I found some titles that I want to read this year. The selection seemed pretty good for a smaller store, and I liked the different local products for sale (candles, stickers, etc.). If you buy one of their tote bags, you can get $1 off your purchase whenever you bring it back-- I love this idea! I didn't end up buying anything, but any day that I get to visit an independent bookstore is a good day!

They have used clothing, shoes, purses; books and movies; kids clothing and toys. All donated, items and all workers are volunteers. They fund a free preschool for 3 & 4 year olds at the Presbyterian Church. Donated things are processed carefully- only clean clothing in good condition are put i the store. They take some consignments. Frequent sales, very good prices. Paperback books are 50 cents and hardbacks $1.00. Shoes $1 a pair. Childrens books 25 cents. Dollar racks for some clothing. .

Just a buyer beware. We gave a deposit for a buffet and I understand the paperwork said it was a…read morenon-refundable deposit. However, the paperwork also said it would be 6 months to get. Well, 6 months rolled by and we were told it would be at least another 2 months. So I finally decided to cancel the order and asked if they would split the deposit with me (I was only asking for 1/2 the deposit amount back) - they told me no. I can't imagine the person making it had it made and/or not even had the wood yet for the project and even if they had the wood, it could have been used for another order from someone else. Just make sure if you purchase something you really want it and are willing to wait for it for a long time. We were very disappointed that they would not work with us at all on the partial deposit refund. Not good customer service or way to keep a potential future customer.
