Too often the one item I come to the store for isn't shelved, and the staff will swear there isn't any in the back. I've learned to pull out my phone and schedule a pickup then and there then go window shopping for a few minutes. My item is always ready in a blink. I think Target is trying to push customers to pickup orders and deliveries, so staff are afraid to take their attention away from fulfilling orders to help in person customers. The only exception to this behavior is in electronics, when you can actually spot staff in electronics. The store has gone downhill. read more

The store is a mess and the check out line is awful. There is no order or associates. It takes 20 plus minutes to check out. There are copious amounts of associates around but no one seems to be doing anything but walking around. The cashier was phenomenally inept at ceramic items. Literally dropped it on the metal part of the counter and then when it didn't break, dropped it into the mini garbage we were buying that I was loading items into. When it dropped again, the cashier intelligently advised me that I should put the item in the beanie I was buying for safe travel. These assholes wouldn't help me and my friends late at night, the manager is a total jackass. if i could i would spit right on him. i've never been more disrespected and me and my friends were stranded. The story is that we bought an Uber card it was $25. we didn't even leave the store I peeled off the sticker like you should when you get a gift card from Uber The whole back was ruined the card number was ripped off and they wouldn't let us return it. we knew that the card wasn't returnable but we were still in the target when we ripped off the sticker that shows us our gift card number there was no number and there was carvings in the gift card and we weren't able to return it we wasted $25 and just to be disrespected at 11PM. with three females not to be sexist or anything but it's not fair three TEENAGE females. The managers name is Richard and the other guy I don't know but he was a jack ass. I don't like this place anymore. they ruined my whole experience with target. i don't think I will ever go back to the galleria target mall again. One word. disrespectful. actually four words. disrespectful pieces of shit. unfair and totally unnecessary for the kind of attitude they gave us. no remorse, pity nor care whatsoever. In general, I'm a fan of the Target line of stores. This one is just OK. They recently remodeled and honestly...it's worse? They closed off the hallway attaching it to the rest of the mall, which is annoying. There is a separate hallway, I think, between the arcade and Target that can be used, but that means going outside if you're already in Target. Not sure what the point of that was? This store has seen better days. I suppose it's likely some of it can be chalked up to staff shortages, like many places. Couldn't say. But the shelves were messy and disorganized when I recently visited. The new makeup/beauty care area is strange. There's a big wide open area with awkward shelving units/tables, and then a couple of regular aisles. It just doesn't really flow that well. The selection of clothes has gone downhill (though I'm sure this is attributable to the brand and not just this Target). Overall, I kind of just miss the way this store used to be. I feel I'm less likely to spend as much time and money here now. read more

This is the most disorganized and ransacked target I've ever been too. It gives me anxiety to walk around this store- it is so messy, their home decor section is always barren - I always see other people around the country post their targets on social media and they're gorgeous. The 2 stars is strictly for their employees. There was really nothing in Stock in their makeup department. The employee did tell me they were marking down and lots of clearance and to give them a week. I'll be back to check on it. However the cashier super friendly and quick! Honestly the mall isn't huge but I love coming to this target. Came in the other day and the staff all had masks and when I came in I was greeted by staff cleaning the shopping carts and when I had a question the security was super pleasant and kind, I think her name was Ari and she was helpful along with the guy cleaning the carts, Brandon. Huge fan of target but I went in today to get my bill fixed after the cashier failed to scan my coupons. The woman helping me seemed very annoyed that I had waited 5 days to come I instead of when I had first noticed it (sorry I work lady) Then she proceeded (eye roll after eye roll and huff after huff) to tell me that she would return my most expensive item to buy it back with a 15% discount to compensate..when she found out that I had already returned those items that day she looks right at me and says "UGH! I was trying to find a necessary kitchen appliance yesterday. I called Target to see if they had any in stock. I was astounded when I got a lazy female on the phone who basically told me that it was too much trouble for her to go check to see if any were in stock!!! She told me to look on the website. I told her that the website never represents what is actually in stock. She actually said "oh, it would be so much trouble for me to go all the way over there and look and come all they way back to the phone". Is she for real? That's what store empoloyees are for, it's part of their job to tell customers what items are in the store and how much they cost so they can come pick them up. I'm shocked at the level of sheer lazy and the fact that this "employee" would feel no shame in basically stating that she was just too lazy to do her job. Now seeing the amount of one star reviews, I see there is a serious problem at this Target. When I went there, I witnessed the employees that could only be described as "a problem". Oh, and the item I wanted was not in stock so a trip was wasted. Target seriously needs to fire this staff and start over, there is a bad problem here. I don't know where to begin. This target has gone down hill in the last few months. Today was my breaking point. I came in looking for batteries and instead found a mess where the batteries were. They were all over the place, not in order and mostly piled in a heap at the bottom. I didn't find what I was looking for. I got 2 more items I was interested in only to get to the registers and find a line of 15+ people waiting with only 3 registers open. None of these employees thought to look up and call for more cashiers?! The line was so long that everyone was blocking the walk way to get across. This is the third time I have abandoned my cart at the registers because I'm not waiting 30 minutes to check out like I did once before. I'm better off ordering from Amazon or going to Walmart. In the few minutes it took me to write this post in their parking lot, two town of Wallkill police officers pulled up to the store with lights and sirens on. I love that the staff was wearing masks and gloves but no one was reporting people not wearing masks properly IN THE STORE if it was tiny kids I would understand that but it was grown adults wearing it on there chin not even covering there mouth, and if it was they were only covering there mouth not nose. read more

So here I am, pushing my items in a cart that I paid for the exit and the cart locks up on me. I am still in the Target btw and purchased a ton of items so I at least wanted to be at the entrance (still inside). I stopped a lady and told her if she could unlock the cart so I could at least get to where the other carts are. She shrugs. I repeat, she shrugged. Then pointed to someone whom I assumed she was telling me to speak to. I explained I didn't want to leave my items unaccompanied. She again "shrugged". I took the risk, walked to the counter and let a young man know my cart was locked. He walked over, looked at my cart and was like "it's locked". I can't make this up. He then said "That's odd it shouldn't lock up inside the store". He walked away. At this point, I'm wondering "ok, so do I wait for someone to unlock it?" I got fed up, loaded every single bag on me, an Air Fryer and my pocketbook and managed to lug all the bags to my car. Over this Target and its LACK OF CUSTOMER SERVICE. read more

I will no longer be shopping at this store. Each of my last three visits to store have been extremely disappointing. The aisles are an absolute mess, shelves-messy and bare, and teenage employees congregating and goofing around (one of them not disabled but erratically driving a buggy intended for persons with disabilities quite fast while holding onto a tall cart covered with merchandise almost ran into me). His coworkers just laughed about it. I called and reported it to management, but it was clear that my complaint fell on deaf ears. read more

Great location, shelves are never stocked, and online store pick up items are never ready on time or lost. Several times I have gone to pick up an online purchase, when it was wrong the employee tried to say I ordered it wrong then after showing her the receipt she then blamed it on the online system. When the order is lost instead of just saying its lost or was never filled they give you the run around after insisting it was never ordered or it must have been picked up already. If I had time to spend an hour in the store then I would not be doing online pick up. read more

I think every Target, Walmart, K-Mart outside of the city is enormously huge. We came to visit a friend in Middletown and stopped by this Target and it was friggin huge as hell. Aisle after aisle of stuff and everything is so well organized in this one compared to the one I usually goto (Elmhurst, Queens). We bought some condiments and some Topps baseball cards. I do wish that they placed their trading cards in a different area. It's along a wall right next to the cash register so you're kinda squeezing between the people on line with their carts while you're browsing through their display of cards. read more

Management doesn't care about their customers and are unwilling to speak to their face or assist in resolving issues. They just hope you go away. I would not recommend purchasing any higher priced items because if you do they refuse to assist you if there is a problem with the item. read more
