Review on the Target PizzaHut Express (P.H.E) within this Target store. Tonight, I came to shop at this Target and had a normal decent experience. BUT, the PizzaHut Express inside this store was a bad experience. After I made my Target purchases, i headed on over to get a pizza and breadsticks. I was second in line and the person in front of me was a female Target employee ordering food from the person at the cash register. They looked to be friends as they were talking very casual with one another. Then, the guy at the PizzaHut Express cash register decides to cough and yell out, "I'M SO SICK". At this point, i'm contemplating to myself if i really want to continue waiting in this line if the guy is yelling "I'M SO SICK" and handling food. May need to re-train this guy to be not so casual at work. read more

Ok (--standard Target store), but if you have an issue, it's a nightmare. They screw up at the register and make you work to get what they should have gotten right in the first place at customer service. My experience at this store last week was enough to end the 4-6 days a week I shopped at Target. I had several items where the discount did not come off, so I took them to customer service. The employees behind the customer service counter don't know how Target coupons work, let alone how to read basic coupon terms. I asked to speak to the store manager, but instead was told another employee was the manager, only to find out that wasn't the case. I asked for the actual store manager and thought I was dealing with him (which worried me because he, Robert, was inept), until I asked for the district manager's contact information. Suddenly he wasn't the manager and the manager was coming in later that day. I know these people aren't being paid a ton, but care enough about your job to learn the basics and don't lie to customers--the smart ones will catch you. In the end, corporate had no idea why Robert and his co-workers didn't understand a simple coupon, but they reimbursed me the whole $4 that Robert wanted to argue with me about for 50 minutes. read more

I come to this target all the time and it is always clean, well organized and has very helpful and patient staff members. Most recently, I went in with my gf looking for some patio furniture which was almost sold out. Rick helped us to purchase the floor model at a discount and then went above and beyond by getting us rung up quickly and helping to load it into the car. Service like this is really impressive and appreciated, especially given the current very stressful climate. read more

As others have mentioned, the Target Red Card sales pitch during checkout is very annoying. The cashiers frequently persist, even after I have politely declined the Red Card. This makes me question what kind of incentive structure is in place. I would suggest that management end the Target Red Card solicitation during checkout. If customers want the credit card, they can go and apply for it. At the very least, instruct staff to back off if the customer indicates they are not interested. read more

I am only writing about the department store part of the Super Target. I am not a fan of the food part. As was written before. This location has much more stuff than the Manassas Mall location. Its layout is a bit different, but that is to be expected. I have come here a few times already when I can't find something at the local Wal-Mart which is quite often. I found so many things that I just put off getting since I couldn't find them elsewhere. As far as the food goes, I will only get loss leader things since Wegmans can't be beat for food. read more

Went to clinic yesterday for the first time and it was such a pleasure. Couldn't get an appointment with my regular doctor and this clinic was in my network. From the front desk to the nurse practitioner, EVERYONE was so nice. Was feeling horrible and the treatment was very thorough. After my visit was done, the young lady at the front desk walked me over to the pharmacy where I didn't have to wait the normal time for my prescriptions to be completed. While waiting another thing lady saw me holding several items and found a cart for me. This, hands down, is THE BEST customer service I've received in a very long time. I love this store but will definitely give a second thought before buying food items here. The Store's main bathroom lavatories do not supply water correctly, I spent about two minutes just to wash my hands with soap. So what about the guy stocking the shelves or produce? Came here in hopes of finding sheer tights. I grabbed a pair and when I went to the front it rang up much more than it was labeled. The cashier called for them to check and the lady said "they're all $8... Oh wait I see what she's saying". Whoever stocked their store put them all incorrectly so the price I saw wasn't the price. The cashier said that's a big difference so these are $8. Even though all your product is sitting under a tag that clearly says nude tights and a different price? So now it's my fault your employees can't read to restock your items? She basically said oh well LOL. Great customer service target as usual. And I'm here late so even BETTER customer service than the day time. I usually have a good experience at target but tonight just seems off and I'm pretty disappointed. I always shop in this Target and never had a bad experience, until today! I bought two refills boxes of Enfamil Formula, but unfortunately my baby boy reacted allergic to it. I had one brand new and one opened. For my bad luck I couldn't find the receipt for the items anywhere. I swiped all possible cards I could have used and nothing. I bought them around 5-6 days ago. I wasn't sure if they would accept the opened one but I brought it just in case they knew what could I do. The lady, Wendy, was very nice until I said I didn't have the receipt, she turned very rude. Like tired of being receiving returns all day. She said they can't accept them back without a receipt because she doesn't know if I am doing formula fraud, since that happens very often. I couldn't even believe she actually said that. Insinuating that I was trying to do fraud. I just wanted to be able to exchange the formula to the one he is not allergic which is also an Enfamil. I wasn't asking for cash back. She said that people buy the formula use it and then return it. I even had evidence of the allergy my son had, and I wasn't only returning an used formula pack, I had a brand new one. I asked what could I do in this case and she said to call the manufacturer but with a tone like making me feel dumb because I didn't know. She also said that I could donate the formula, like I don't work too hard for those $80 I paid for it. I'm a professional of customer service, I've been in this field for over 12 years, and I have never treated a customer like that or implying that is trying to be fraudulent. For less than that I've seen pretty bad legal issues. She should watch her words when referring to customers. And if she is tired of receiving all the returns, she needs to change careers. I can't even believe this actually happened. It's my bad I couldn't find the receipt, but I didn't deserve to be mistreated. When she told me to contact the manufacturer, I asked of she by any chance knew about the process or how to contact them. Her response was: "I have no idea, I don't work for them". I kinda knew she didn't work for Enfamil, but she didn't have to play the smarty pants. She could have said that she didn't know or that maybe in the box they could have a contact phone number or so. But she was really annoyed, and I didn't treat her bad or went there with the attitude that the customer is always right, cause I don't believe that myself. I was very humble there and she was just explosive. She was moving her head with the very negative connotation. Was bad, pretty bad. Me or my family will ever shop at this location. This Target is my staple store since I live close by. I am here two-three times a week. I am obviously a fan. I know what I can find and in general the staff is always pleasant and lines are never too long. I like that the store is clean and organized. Occasionally I see chaos in the dollar bins but no complaining because I sometimes like diving for treasures or deals. I use their pharmacy and they quick to fill and have ready within 20 minutes. They also call my doctor if a prescription is out for refills. I am happy I can avoid that nuance. I will say things sell out here quickly and I noticed the clothes section is not as packed as Gainesville. I find many more styles there but good luck getting your shopping cart through. Since I don't buy a lot of my clothes here, it doesn't effect me too much, Definitely appreciate the basic staples I pick up here for my house and a great asset to have nearby. I am a fan of Target's grocery section. Not particularly this location but Target's in general. This location just happens to be the closest to my house. Walmart has cheaper prices on most of the household goods we buy and most grocery items too but there are a few Target branded items that are not available elsewhere. They have a cilantro lime rice mix that is outstanding and some flavored waters that are really good. They also have some Archer Farms frozen appetizers that are either hard to find the equivalents anywhere else or priced much higher than Target. I also think they have a better beer variety that most of the grocery stores in the area, except for Wegman's. I will continue to shop here for the occasional use items that we cannot find anywhere else. read more

We shop here quite a lot since it's close to our home. The store is very clean and rarely do we wait in long lines. The selection can be limited and sometimes they run out of the brands we prefer. But, the service is friendly and the prices are reasonable. In fact, we drive right past Harris Teeter (which is expensive) to get last minute groceries at Target instead. read more

I've been going to this Target for years. It's one of the largest I've seen. I can get everything I need in one stop, from groceries to dog food to underwear. I normally don't go during busy hours but the few times I have it's about what you would expect anywhere. I've never had any issues with the place. Never again will I go to this Target. This location has terrible customer service. When the sale promotions didn't ring up as I thought, I went to customer service. I was harassed by a representative who kept telling me I was wrong. Also she acted like I was trying to rip off target for the $5 gift card promo. When I escalated the issue to the store manager. Why can't Target sell shorts for girls that are not up their @$$crack? Not every mom wants to dress their little girl like a hotsy-totsy. The sexualization girls starts so young, it's disgusting. Over the last 10yrs this Target has never had appropriate shorts for young girls. Now adding that men can hang out in the ladies changing room and restroom and I feel completely alienated from shopping there. I had to go in for emergency things twice in the last year and they are always stocking the store around 10-11a.m. The employees will always have huge stocking carts right where I need to get products and they never say, oh, let me move this for a second so you can get your item. Nope, they just give you a side eye and do nothing to help you get around it. Horrible timing for restocking and poor customer service. They have 20+ checkout lanes but never have more than one or two checkout people at once. Overall I feel like I am invading some weird person's space instead of having a nice shopping experience. I use to spend quite a bit at Target weekly, that has dwindled to pretty much nothing now. Not a place I recommend. And the Red Card pressure at checkout is ridiculous, my own cash or credit is just has good and I should not be belittled as I make a payment. read more

This is a really great store. It is very clean and always stocked with items I use. I also like you can use coupons and their mobile app. The employees are very courteous, and one early Saturday morning last week, a Target employee (tall young man) helped me find several things. He was very busy stocking shelves, and stopped what he was doing to help me. Such a nice young man working hard and being helpful. I also like their bakery and deli and would recommend their pastries. Only bad thing is one (female) employee on several occasions I've found to be rude to me as a customer, and bossy with the other employees. Other than that......I shop here regularly. read more

The only problem is I go in on my lunch break to pick up a few things and there are only 2 lines open with over 10 people in each. I am super upset at the procedure that is taken place for returned items. I recently purchased a doc mcstuffin toy hospital cart as a Santa gift for my 2 and a half year old daughter. On Christmas morning as she opened her gift we realized that what was in the box was a completely different toy. She was very upset and I was too as I never expected this to occur. I went to return the item and asked about the procedures for returned items and was told the boxes are never opened if they looked closed. I have never had a bad shopping experience at this Super Target. The cashiers are always helpful and cheerful. They usually offer me the opportunity to sign up for a Target red card but don't try to shove it down my throat when I decline. The return process is simple and hassle-free. The store is always clean and just plain feels good. My only gripes are minor: the hardware and car care departments are nearly nonexistent. That's okay though, because since I know that, I know to go elsewhere when I need something along that line. I don't go to Target for everything, but sometimes I just want a more relaxed shopping experience and Target gives me just that. read more

I visited the Manassas West SuperTarget (store #T-2323) on the afternoon of Saturday, August 2, and asked to speak with the Manager regarding an issue in the women's clothing department. The "LOD" (Leader On Duty) is in need of additional management training classes (at the very least). While I spoke with him regarding my concerns, he kept rudely interrupting me and speaking over me me, so I stopped talking to let him talk, and planned to speak when he finished. When he finished, I asked him if I could now speak without him continually interrupting me and speaking over me, and his reply was "I've listened to you plenty." Excuse me?! He then said "I'm done talking to you" and rudely walked away from me! I then went to the Customer Service desk to get the phone number for Target's Corporate Office, as well as the store manager's name. He saw me standing at the Customer Service desk waiting to be assisted, and had the nerve to say to me as he walked by "Is there something else I can assist you with?" REALLY?!?!?!?!?!!!!! Something ELSE?!?!?!?????? What was the OTHER thing he had helped me with?!?!????? It sure wasn't my first inquiry, where he had so rudely interrupted me, spoke over me, told me he had listened to me plenty, told me he was done talking to me, and then walked away from me and given me no assistance whatsoever with my FIRST inquiry, yet instead was RUDE, DISRESPECTFUL, UNPROFESSIONAL, ARROGANT, and exhibited absolutely ZERO INTERPERSONAL PEOPLE SKILLS -- let alone Managerial Skills -- when he instead crassly interrupted me, spoke over me, told me he had listened to me plenty and was done talking to me, then walked away from me without resolving my concern!!!!!!! Maybe he was having a bad day, but Target personnel -- and ESPECIALLY members of Target management -- do NOT take it out on their customers! If you're having a bad day and cannot, will not get past it -- GO HOME!! The way I was treated by the LOD when I expressed a very real and ongoing problem to him occurring in the Manassas West SuperTarget store was absolutely atrocious. Hopefully Target Corporation will be able to correct this LOD's behavior so that no other customers will have to experience a similar affront. read more
