It is an OK target. It gets the job done. It's on the smaller side, the store is often messy and they are usually out of a lot of things that I go there to purchase. The least attractive department in the store is the fresh food and produce. It's usually slim pickings or things are close to being to their expiration date. read more

not a Super Target, boo! I drove far across town to search for Tabitha Brown products not carried by the Target within 1 mile of my home. This location is small compared to the Super Targets I grew used to in the DFW area. This trip I did not find Tabitha's popcorn in stock on shelves, but on a return trip I did. I came back a few more times to search dollar spot for holiday items carried by other locations, but left empty-handed. This store is slow to receive holiday and stock inventory compared to other small towns across TX. read more

Do not use online to order anything this place is so slow and the fact that I am trying to call and find out how long this order is gonna take and they don't wanna answer the phone don't click #2 and don't click #8 because guess what no one's gonna answer the phone but I guess that's the trick right keep us waiting. It's a Target, yay! The inside at this location is decent sized and has all of its regular departments. I did notice they have a plus size section here though which I though was pretty cool and I had never seen. Clothes were scattered around and some sections were weirdly empty. Encountered a few sales associates and none were friendly. The guy at the electronics department gave me a weird vibe. Looked through the makeup section and a lot of their items were out of stock. The bathrooms were dirty and toilet paper was all over the floor. Checked out at the self checkout and the two employees were too busy gossiping to notice that my "I need help" light was on.. I'm not the type of person to leave reviews often, and the only reason I'm doing it now is because I tried calling their HR line twice only for the phone to ring and then hang up. I'm absolutely appalled by the way I was treated at this location. I've never been so disrespected in my life. I don't live in Lubbock anymore and I haven't for about ten years, but I'm visiting on business. I know that it's a different culture and way of life out here than in more urban areas, but I'm still shocked at the way I was accused at this location. I was in this store for all of ten minutes to buy a pair of replacement sunglasses and decided to stop in to check out their cologne section because it's larger than the one closest to my apartment back home. One of the workers was a little obnoxious when it came to checking on me. She asked if I was finding everything okay, and when I said yes she asked if I needed any help. I politely told her no thank you, I was just checking out the different scents. After finding the one I wanted, I walked to self check out. Everywhere I go, I carry around a canvas bag. Maybe it's not typical for men to carry bags around Lubbock, but it's an easy way for me to keep track of my wallet, keys, glasses, etc. While I was checking out my two items, the same worker approached me and asked, "Do you have anything in your bag that you need to check out?" I was shocked. I turned around to make sure I heard her right and said, "excuse me?" She explained that someone working on the sales floor was "missing a few items" and they wanted to check that said items weren't in my bag. I know that I look different than some of the people in this town. I'm brown, I have a lot of tattoos, and a couple of piercings. However, I'm typically a shy and soft spoken person who tends to keep to themselves. I avoid trouble as best I can. Furthermore, I don't know what Target's policy is on shoplifting, but most places don't confront individuals who may be shoplifting because it puts employees in an unsafe situation. Additionally, what could possibly fit in a canvas bag that would cost more than $20-$30 that I could steal? Would it be something so valuable that it warranted public humiliation of someone without sufficient evidence that I actually had something in my bag? I didn't even visit any area in the store besides the accessories and the beauty department which are all located at the very front of the store. Anything of significant value that would fit in my bag would have a security tag that would've set off the detectors at the front of the store, but again, I never even visited those departments in the store. I proceeded to toss my bag on the counter and told the worker, "I carry this bag with me everywhere I go. Everything in there belongs to me. Go ahead and check." The girl looked through my bag and, shockingly enough, everything in the bag belonged to me. She walked away without so much as an apology for falsely accusing me of theft, humiliating me in front of every single other person standing at self check out, and singling me out. I spoke with their team lead, but I wasn't satisfied. I still did not receive much of an apology besides him telling me he "understood was I was saying" and he did nothing more to rectify the situation. I'm not the type of person to cause a scene often, but I really can't believe the way that I was treated today. I'm a successful young adult with one of the highest salaries in my company. I drive a nice car, I pay my own rent, and I work hard for everything I own. I don't like to speak on the kind of money I make because I think it's tacky, but I still can't believe how embarrassed I was made to feel when this happened. To this Target and their employees and the company as a whole - do better. If you suspect someone has stolen something, maybe do your due diligence in checking cameras and making sure the person in question has actually done something wrong before accosting them in front of all of your other patrons and falsely accusing them. I'm a loyal Target shopper and never visit any other store unless I'm purchasing groceries. All of my other day to day shopping needs occur at Target. I deserve better. I will not be leaving this here, as I plan on getting in touch with a district or corporate manager who can actually do something more about this. read more

been using this Target for decades--i'm so done. Received email saying my drive up order was ready--all items in stock. Went to pick up less than 2 hours later and upon checking order realized 5 items were missing. At that time i received email saying i was being refunded for items that I had canceled--which of course i hadn't. The extremely rude manager said obviously the items AND the backup items were out of stock--she couldn't explain why i received email saying order was ready and she kept insisting that i must have received a email saying items were out of stock. The only explanation is that they lost or gave away the order. Would not be the first screw up at the drive up but this was outrageous and she just kept lying to me. Then i tried calling all day to talk to someone else and they NEVER answered the phone. They lost their best customer without a doubt. read more

Went in because several websites said you could exchange gift cards from other retailers (we have some from a movie theater chain that doesn't serve Lubbock) for Target gift cards at a discounted rate. The woman at the Returns & Exchanges desk was very rude, saying the information was a lie and that Target has never done that. We double-checked the card pool website, it lists this specific Target so we called the store and found that the service is only done in electronics. So we went in and the employee tried, but told us that the system has never successfully exchanged a gift card. Disappointed in Target's terrible customer service and broken service systems. read more

I used to love going to this Target but now I will never go their again. I particularly used the curbs pick up service. Well, someone in their curbside pick up service department decided to they would go into my account and try to order an iPad and Airpods and have them picked up by someone else at a New York Target. Luckily for me I constantly monitor my emails and caught this suspicious activity. They did this when they canceled an order that I had not yet picked up. I already contacted corporate and I'm filing a police report with all of my documentation. Do yourself a favor and don't compromise your information. read more

Please update this place. Ive been to many Targets in my life and never have I seen one so trashy. They don't even have options of car seats for my soon coming infant. The ones they have are old fashioned. Ugg, and the baby girl clothes are all scattered all over the store, its literally impossible to find anything when your huge with two toddlers already. This Target has displayed amazing customer service time and time again. The lady who is always at the guest service/return area is so pleasant. She always welcomes me with a warm smile. Even last time when I looked like a crazy lady and returned a cat toy, kitty litter, and a litter box (My husband didn't think it was such a great idea to let "Porch Cat" live inside with us). The clearance clothes area seems to always be in tip top organized shape. I also love that this target is right off the loop, making it impossible for it to be that out of the way on your way to anywhere. I know Target is a huge chain, but like, I need it. I need Target. I would cry so hard if I was told that Target was shutting down. Don't even get get me started about how happy a well organized Super Target makes me. Target is home away from home. Let me explain, if I go all the way to some random city I have never been to I can walk into a Target and feel a little less lost and a little more like a bit of home is with me. It's target. There's not much to say here, it has a fairly typical smattering of home goods, clothes, electronics and food at slightly higher than Wal-Mart prices. The only thing I ever really like to get at target are their archer farms products. They are usually pretty good. read more

OMG my car charger died while I was out in Lubbock for work....ran in, thank goodness they are open late....the check out guy opened the package for me and hooked up my phone to make sure it worked....so sweet! Oh and they have recycle bins inside so I hold onto my bottles during the week and run in before going to the airport....I cannot find any place else in West Texas that recycles. read more
