Mardel is much like Hobby Lobby - they just sell more varieties of predominantly Christian goods. The Mardel #14 store was quite large. I haven't been back to it in a long while. It was also tidy and clean. I purchased a decorative gold-framed picture of a bee ($16.23). Bees are so cool. The frame, like many items, was on sale at 40% off. Knocked off a star due to many employees stocking items, but never stopping to ask if I needed assistance, smiling at us, etc. Hannah, our cashier, was extremely friendly and efficient on 4.12.2025. Was in the store and the manager Margeret was one of the absolute worst people to deal with. She was very rude and condescending when asking questions. We took a very large and very sentimental poster to be laminated for a military graduation. The man doing it was very rude to my mother, then when she picked it up there were bubbles and rips. My sweet mother was too kind to say anything and cried in her car bc the poster was hand signed and could not be replicated- at the very least she should have been offered a profuse apology for the laminating work. read more

This is the best bookstore in town. If only it had a coffee bar! Anyway, nice staff, nice place to find even a bargain. NOTW clothing is great, especially for the 30 and younger crowd. Don't home school, but lots of good supplies there. read more

I enjoyed shopping here until I was followed around every isle I browsed. No kidding. Greeted at the door..cool. Looking down the borders isle, "can we help you find anything" cool. Looking at the nick knack isle, "ya finding everything ok"...cool...Shopping the clothing area with no associate in sight and as soon as I turn to step out I hear an "announcent" over the intercom and an associate briskly JOGS over to me and asks "can i help you find something"...no longer cool. I'm a certified educator I came here to PURCHASE not steal. Get off my back and watch the lady with 4 kids and a stroller stuffed with blankets. Mardel is great, but I don't always remember it's there. You can usually find decent sales there on most of their products, although sometimes you can find stuff cheaper elsewhere. The staff is always friendly and helpful. They provide free coffee while walking around their store. read more
