I cannot imagine what made the shop keeper here treat us as he did. First, we were followed around the store by some obese woman with no personal space boundaries. She might have well been crawling into my husbands back pocket. By this time I had my hands full with at least 5 items I wanted to purchase. We made our way down another isle towards the front of the store, fat lady still in tow. It was at the front of the store again when my husband looked up and made eye contact with a man behind the counter, who subtlely shook his head at him. My husband was so offended, he had me put down my selections and immediately leave. It wasnt til we were in the car that he told me what the man did, and with the woman up our backs, they were treating us as if we planned to shoplift. I am stunned by this. And saddened. I will never again shop there. Though it had been years since my last visit, I most certainly will never spend money there again. I can find the same knick knacks online, with better customer service, and probably better pricing.

Francesca's has been the source of probably 60%+ of my jewelry purchases. They offer both trendy and timeless pieces with earrings ranging from $5-$12 and necklaces usually in the $20-$30 range. Definitely not bad. I get lots of tops and dresses here. Scarves are another top seller in my book and I have one small clutch from here. I could spend hours just looking over the tables of knick knacks. The only drawbacks to this location are that it is very small. My husband normally will go anywhere shopping with me because he is a saint. However, he draws the line here because its so small and crowded that he feels awkward waiting around for me while I prance back and forth all over the store. And lastly, the sales staff is so hit to miss. Sometimes they are welcoming, accommodating, and friendly. Other times they seem to judge you if you're not looking your best and assume you aren't worth their time. In this case they continue chatting amongst themselves and completely ignore your presence in the store. Which can be really awkward when there's 4 of them and you're the only customer in the tiny space.

So then I called the manufacturing company and I went on a wild goose chase for customer service and never heard from them. Needless to say, I'm not saying Big Lots is terrible, but I would've appreciated more effort to afford me the new couch I paid $600 dollars for, instead of sub par quality. TL;DR I paid $600 for a brand new couch and I received a damaged couch instead and was unable to get a replacement.

This place has everything you need with reasonable pricing, except for a produce section. I got a full bedding set for only $49 and T-fal pots and pans for less than $50. Also, the international food section is always winning. I have found German sauerkraut imported from Germany not Georgia for $3 for a giant jar. Paper towel, toilet tissue, plastic and paper cups all a lot cheaper than you'll get at Walmart, United, and Lowes. Dry foods from American to Indian to Asian, they have it. Bob's Mill oatmeal and other meals for baking they have it. Furniture in the back of the store and even a great pet section. Cleaning supplies and also a big pack of printing paper for only $3. They sell fake gemstones and minerals that are priced ridiculously high for no reason. Dyed agate bookends that read, $75 for what it being dyed or it being "crazy laced"? Either way, dyed agate isn't worth a penny in the geology world. I've also seen geodes priced at $200 for a small quartz and calcite filled again both specimens aren't worth anything really. However, that's Marshalls ripping off naive people again. Another thing is the fact that there's either glass, fake plants, or lamps as decor is a joke. The lamp are ehh and cost way too much. The glass again is uhhh ok looking and the fake plants are ugh why would I spend this much for plants that don't give off anything for this price might as well go to the Dollar Tree or Home Depot. I feel as if this Marshalls caters to a specific crowd of people. Moreover, I don't like the fact that the customers don't know how to be respectful to others by saying, "excuse me". It baffles me that the aisles are already tiny and that someone rudely walks in front of you or into your personal space without using their proper manners. Additionally, the employees are fairly nice, but customer service is always inconsistent. First time, I shopped here I got a cashier that didn't greet me. Second time, I got a cashier that was bubbly. Actually the only good that Home Goods has is that you can get some good quality items on the clearance section. Yikes, I know, but it was her money. The next most expensive item was a set of Aura Buds TWS Earbuds my oldest daughter bought for $8. But it still has cool stuff for affordable prices on many items. The t-shirts were definitely picked over. Several aisles and/or sections were disorganized and rummaged through by other shoppers. The worst part was checking out... a young female employee checked out about half of my items then left the rest to me. Just go back to having cashiers if you're that worried about stolen merchandise. It was okay, but doubt I will be back unless the kids bring their own money.

I've been to a lot of comic shops, and this one is top of the heap. It's clean and well organized,…read morethe comics are in a logical order and easy to peruse. Prices are very fair for an LCS. But three things made it really stand out: 1) The owner Rob and I traded about a half-dozen messages on Facebook about issues I was looking for, and when I showed up two days later, voila, there they were. This guy had no guarantee that I'd be showing up, but he still held onto my books for me. 2) Rob asked me where my LCS was and I told him Duncanville Bookstore (about a 5 hour drive away), and he told me that he knew the owner Andy and that he'd helped Andy out at a past show out of town. Just says a lot about how devoted he is to the comic shop community. 3. He was tossing out a few damaged and coverless books and I asked if I could have them for my wife who is an elementary librarian. Not only did he give me those, but then he grabbed about 30 age-appropriate books from FCBD for me to give to her to use. I feel bad that I can't remember the name of the fellow who was running the register, but he was just as friendly as Rob. I'll certainly do business here again the next time I'm in town.
