Target, my home away from home. The Lincoln location is okay, just okay. The staff is usually pretty friendly but it can be difficult to get help throughout the store. This location has the highest prices of any Target in the area so please make sure you use the app to price match with target.com. You'll save a ton. They have a Starbucks in side where the line is usually short and the drinks come out fast but you'll never get a smile from the baristas. The selection are typically pretty good, I can usually find my families sizes in clothing and shoes and any household item I need. Finally, the restrooms here are soooo icky, avoid at all costs. read more

I used to love this location because my pick up order would always be ready on time, but for the last 5 or 6 orders I've had to wait 10 plus minutes and watch multiple customers come and go with their orders. 50% of my orders have been missing items and I have to drive back 30mins to retrieve the item(s) & I was told they're unable to return the item without you being there even though they can see the item that their associate forgot to put in your bag. Sometimes I wonder if it is possible to be a addicted to a store. I'm not sure if its because its so close to my house or because they seem to always have everything I need ( and some things I didn't even know I needed lol ) but I seem to spend a lot of time here. This location is always a mess! I shop the toddler clothes section often and it is so disorganized and clothes are always on the floor. It's really hard to find sizes and they are always out of stock. The best value/$1 section at the front of the store looks like a huge go-back pile...there is no use sorting through it. With a store that makes as much profit as they do... I would have a greeter and have them keep that small section cleaned up all day. When you're a nanny of 3 kids under 5, you get a lot of stares and "I can't believe you took them out in public" faces. But let me tell you something...this target has the best bunch of employees I've seen. 2 of the children could be having all-out meltdowns, and the cashier gives no judgement. Only understanding! One time, one of the men talked to one of my nanny-kids and the kid ended up calming down. He gave him a fist bump as we left the store and all was well. I'm a huge fan of customer service because it really makes or breaks the place for me. So let me tell you that if you're looking for quality, you might as well drive to this target cause it's worth it. It's fairly newer compared to some other targets, so it's always organized, has groceries, and I believe their clearance DVDs/clothing/accessories is better than any other location. I love this Target! Not only is it SUPER close to where I live, but they've got an awesome selection of merchandise and a wide array of groceries as well. But the thing I love most here is how laid back everyone is just shopping around. When I lived in Orange County people would be shoving you out of the way and mostly just acting like they were more important than you. Tonight I went into target with 1 intention and that was to leave with a PlayStation5. I called this location and asked if they had any ps5's in stock and was informed they were currently out of stock. I needed some things from the store so I thought I would might as well test my luck and see if they had any in stock in store. I arrived and went to the electronic section where there was no ps5's in site... until out of no where I saw a worker pushing a cart with a ps5! I asked the worker if I could purchase the PlayStation and he said that it was broken and they were all out of stock at the moment. I kind of got my hopes up, but then asked another associate by the name of Todd, who was gracious enough to search in the back of the store, where he found me a PS5 that I was able to purchase. Should have looked at his name tag but I assume he was some sort of lead or manager but man in the electronic area next to the cameras, horrible customer service, he notices me looking at the locked cameras and looking around for a worker, I took to google to try and answer my own questions and when I couldn't find it I was up to the desk, three of them in that area and none of them ask if I need help, And ask if I can get help, he just looks at me... doesn't say a word and looks at his coworker who then says yes, and actually came to help, as I stood there waiting for his co worker to find someone to price check it, he keeps looking up at me as if I have no business there and I'm not waiting for his coworker to finish helping me.... Shouldn't be working there if he doesn't have an ounce of customer service or can even say two words when asked a question by a customer. I love target and shop there all the time. I went in today to the pharmacy and stood there a good 5 minutes while the pharmacists were in the back on their computers. I get it, they have a tough job but there were no customers but me there. Once they saw me they didn't even walk up to the front where I was, they stood in the back still and rudely asked what I needed...I was like, ok I guess I need to shout what I need. So I asked for the Plan B, they told me it was out on front and that I can just grab it. Ok cool...went to get it and asked if I could pay for it right there at the pharmacy, because let's be real, who wants to walk around with Plan B and have people stare. Thinking it's a pharmacy and they would actually be sympathetic with someone trying to be discreet, I asked if I could just pay there in the pharmacy, one of the pharmacist, younger girl with long black hair, was about to say yes, but the other pharmacist she looked Hispanic, right away interrupted her and very rudely said, "no you have to be rung up front." I was shocked because I work in a store where it has a pharmacy as well and people can pay for their things there. It was ONE item and there were no customers that they were helping. What happened to customer service? Is it really that difficult for her to be a little friendlier? Worst experience ever! read more

Very bad service! I had to pay with two different cards because it wasn't for mine but wanted to do half on the card and the guy who cashed me out seemed he didn't know what he was doing! I told him I was going to do $30 on one card and the rest, I would pay it off. Once again, he kept saying okay okay yeah without inserting on the computer how much I was going to pay. It was Soo horrible! Please take him off that register. I will update on his name when I get receipt out of bag. Very very awful service, seriously do the job good! And pay attention, he seemed soo not into his job, find something else that fits your suit. We are customers!! Never, shopping there again. Crapiest service I've ever had .... worse than WalMart! I spent 30 minutes looking for an associate they, when I finally found one they totally ignored me, pretending like they don't know where is the item that I'm looking for just said sorry and walked away. Update: I thought I'd update my review because it's been awhile. At some point this Target changed management and totally changed. I specifically drive from Roseville to this target now. The employees are super friendly and helpful. They are now always well staffed and have tons of registers open. Best target around! Kudos to management for totally turning things around. I've been shopping at this location for over two years now and it's the same thing every time. Awful customer service on the sales floor and only one or two cashiers. They are way understaffed. The cashiers are always friendly but there is never enough of them. The sales floor and stocking staff are awful. They were out of a particular item on the shelf for over a month. I kept checking back and when I finally asked someone and they scanned it they had several cases in the back. The employee rudely asked if I needed her to go get them. She got them but they still weren't stocked the next time I came. I also notice things stocked in the wrong spot. I've also tried ordering online and pickup at store. There are two sides of the customer service line- one for order pickup and one for returns. If you stand on the order pickup side and there are people in the return line they ignore you when you're supposed to have priority. I've just left without my order several times after being ignored. Yesterday was the movie release for Gemini Man in BlueRay etc. Went to Lincoln Target to get it and couldn't find it. So, I asked the staff in the electronics area... at first they told me I was wrong, only the digital version was out. I showed them the two different release dates and they began looking again. Then they said "Oh... we aren't putting that out until the 19th because that is the date we update the DVD section of the store." So I left and drove down to Walmart and got the movie there along with the advertised Digital Extra of "The Return of Xander Cage." read more

I shopped at Target earlier today August 27, 2018. I put 2 50$ bills in my wallet, expecting to spend it all there. The self service checkout read $80.07 total. I put both 50s in the machine, but the machine registered a payment of $50. I immediately called for help, and he returned my first $50. I explained I had put two in. He emptied the machine and found one. He told me there was no way to count the receipts to the cost vs. what was in the machine, like you ca with a cash register. So he didn't believe me, I was about to call the police, but my husband arrived. We chose to leave the store without the merchandise or the 50. I said I would not shop at Target again, but I am still fuming. read more

During the COVID-19 pandemic I've used Drive Up option twice. While high demand items have not been available, the non-essential things I've been in need of are all being fill in full, the staff comes outside quickly, friendly, load the bags into my car, and I'm in and out in minutes! Wish I could give them zero stars. Went up to the store today, to get Pepsi and Coke 12 packs that are listed as on sale in their weekly flyer, since a family member mentioned a "good deal". Typical assumption - stuff is on sale Sunday - Saturday, as usual, except for THIS time, of course. Make sure to read the fine print before buying anything from Target, AND watch your wallet, since you may get gouged by them if you don't. Turns out, instead of 4 x 12 packs for $10, as advertised, it was now 4 x 12 packs for almost $24 ($5.98 a 12 pack, instead of $2.50). I'd planned on getting four each of the Cokes and Pepsis, and nearly coughed up a lung when the cash register rang up more than $50 for them. Highest price I've ever seen for a 12 pack, in any grocery store, or "discount" store in the region, thus far. Seems the sale was only for a few days for the items on the back page - never seen them do that before, and won't have to worry about that ever again. So, it appears the "Target" bullseye is on its customers, and they've figured out a great way to price gouge unsuspecting patrons, who may or may not look closely at the register total. I'm done with Target as a customer forever, due to this scam. Save yourself some serious dough, and buy them from Walmart, where you can get 24 can Pepsi packs for $5.98, instead, today. Heck, even Safeway is far cheaper than Target too, this week, and I suspect Raley's might be as well. read more

This store is always organized and has friendly employees. Inside of the store is pretty clean, but the exterior is a different story. The trash cans outside the doors are ALWAYS overflowing. I always come to this target cause it's super close and I like the fact they have a Starbucks. Had to visit this location twice during our visit with family to Lincoln and both times our cashier was this lovely young lady named Maddy. The first time she checked us out, our toddler was starting to get cranky and restless and Maddy was kindly trying to entertain my daughter as she rang us up. She carried on with friendly conversation with our other kids as well. Maddy asked if it was ok to give my kids stickers in hopes to maybe calm down and distract my youngest and it worked! Maddy was so kind, welcoming and efficient. What a treat it was to have her check us out a second time during our second visit. She remembered us and was the same, kind , amazing person. So, I love target, yet this one is so lackluster. I normally do my grocery shopping here, and the department is stocked well, though I consistently find out of code product. Yesterday I was in and three items I wanted were out of, or close to the sell by. These items included OJ, three were three days from, and one was two weeks past, English muffins, three that expired that day, and lunch meat which was three days from expiration. Also, the employees tend to look bored and generally need some coercion if you are lost. Had a horrible experience a year ago and found that contacting corporate is useless, you'll just receive an automated response... If these issues were fixed, Target would be the place to shop! read more

Found a Black & Decker stainless steel toaster oven model #TOD3300SS for $59.99 on the Target website in Lincoln, CA. Standard shipping would have taken a week, so I went into the store and found one with the EXACT model #TOD3300SS. Surprised to find that when the cashier scanned it, it came up with a price of $339.99. She also scanned the barcode on the box with her phone, and it came up $59.99, but because of the price discrepancy of +$20, she had to ask for assistance. Strange, because on the Black & Decker website, model #TOD3300SS is being sold for $69.99. The SAME model # being sold at Target with a markup of $280.00! Target profiles shoppers in the store. This Lincoln one in particular. My daughter was shopping here and they were CONTINUOUSLY following her asking her if she needed help. She kept telling them NO. She said she felt as though they were watching her for stealing. Apparently their Loss Prevention Team sucks at "theft profiling". Management needs to train their staff. I love Target, only because I'm too lazy to drive to Roseville to go to Wal-Mart. I go to Target for everything. I hate going to Safeway or Raley's if I know Target's grocery selection has it, I'm going to Target. Ok what has me peeved. Customer service isn't great. Either I get some creepy guy always bugging me asking if I need help, and not in a friendly customer service way, if you know what I mean. Or I get the chatty teenage cashier who wants to analyze my purchase. The other option is the grumpy old ladies who one time, refused to acknowledge my existence, rang me up, didn't look at me or say a word. Every now and then I get a really nice person who doesn't overtly annoy me. However, today I was annoyed. We all know the rule, we ALL KNOW the rule, if you are going on break and a person jumps in line before you turn off the light or put your sign up or you don't say anything to the person you're helping to politely ask them to let anyone who jumps behind them that they are your last customer because you're too busy ringing stuff up, then you have to help the next customer in line. So I get in line, the light is on, she's helping someone in front of me, then she flips off the light. I've been standing there, she doesn't look at me, then when the lady she was helping leaves, she tells me "my light is off, I can't help you". Umm yes you can, your light was on when I got here, and no one is behind me, it won't kill you, I have 3 items, all which have a sku, a working sku at that, I don't have coupons, and I'm not gonna count out coins....you can help me!!! I am a fan of this Target. It is usually well organized and clean plus it is a big one. Now with the Lincoln bypass it is easy to get to. They have items other places sold out of or clearance items that are still there on sale. They stock more of each thing too. The people are pleasant. There is a Starbucks inside. It is nearby to restaurants, Ross and Marshall's etc. This store has less of a tax rate than nearby cities. I am definitely a fan and will be back. read more

I normally like coming to this Target, but the service here is hit or miss. My visit today (a little before 2pm) was pretty awkward... I came in to do an order pick up at the guest service desk and when I approached the desk, the three young women there did not greet me. Two were engaged in conversation and looked at me like I was interrupting them... they stared at me and didn't even say hi. It was weird. Eventually the girl who was stationed closest to me looked up from using her smart watch and apologized. After some time trying to find my order the young lady (who was pleasant) helping me, gave me my last item, and ran off without saying goodbye or thank you... or anything. When I asked the two girls if it was ok if I left, they were not very nice. I asked if I needed a receipt and told them that I was confused because the person helping me didn't say goodbye, and one of the two girls said, "Welp, BYE." Honestly, only go here because there is no Walmart in Lincoln. Prices are a little high. but you can get a coffee at Starbucks. Selection is average, but Target is Target. That said, the place is always clean and the checkouts don't seem to crazy. read more
