I would like to recommend that anyone that receives promotional gift cards at Lemont Target verifies that they actually received their card. I was handed empty gift card and when I showed up to use it next week - told by front end manager that it is empty. Gift card that I had on my receipt was cashed next day!!! So, Target cashier literally gave me empty card and kept one that was for me. I ordered a shower head online. The store showed 2 in stock. Within 30 minutes of ordering I got an email stating the item was NOT in stock and they canceled the order. I went in hoping to find a different one and guess what I found? The shower head that they said was out of stock. Not just one but two were on the shelf. When I went to the customer service desk they did not care at all. They clearly didn't even look to see that it was on the shelf or not. No wonder Target stores all over are going out of business. They have garbage service and useless people working for them. read more

Here is a good low key/ quiet/ still of the night kind of store. Not too much is going on at all. Archer is just a way to get back from Orland Park back to Downers Grove or delivery trucks dropping off beer. It is not a hang out place so the store is off to the side really and quiet. It is a great way to run in get a pair of jeans, a t shirt and a coke when visiting family around the town of Lemont in case you spill on your clothes. Otherwise- why would one shop here- it does not have the destination appeal as say 4 Corners at 75th. I know the big box marketers are trying to get into every corner but hey- this is Lemont- which is still pretty much blocked off by German, Irish, and English neighborhoods- I know it is changing ever so lightly with the Hindu temple and Lithuanian World but it is still Lemont that has Canal Worker murals as the focal points. What I am trying to say is- Maybe this target, which is great to have in Lemont, is just a little too much to have in small Lemont. I could be wrong as I was just visiting family and not living day to day and working back in Lemont but still- no one likes change especially something that seems drastic but it is good to have a neighborhood quiet store to go to when one does need cold and flu meds for kids at 2 am. read more

The worse staff I will encounter at any target. They staff act as though consumes are a huge inconvenience to them. They can take our money but not treat us kindly. This Target location is great. Always clean, never too crowded, great layout and friendly staff. Plenty of parking is available and so many open check out lanes that you never wait more than a few seconds for your purchase to be rang up. Sammy, the store manager displays poor customer service I do not see how she is even the store manager. She exhibited poor leadership skills and said to hell with her customer service even after she seen that her team was wrong, I will never shop there again, she is rude and if you are Black and shopping with your family she figures you all live in the same household and would advise you to leave some product for the "other" customers even tho they are running a special of buy 3 get a $10 gift card and you are only purchasing 3. read more

This will be a quickie as this is a big box store. But as far as Targets go, this is my favorite in the area. There are a few around but this one has a nicer layout than the one in Orland and is better stocked than the one in Joliet. It's not a Super Target so you can't grocery shop, but other than that the staff is friendly and the location is kind of off the beaten path which makes fro much smaller crowds and lines. read more

This target has the best selection in clothing and shoes. Always end up buying something everytime I go. The lines are never long and the staff is super friendly and helpful. Only downside is they don't sell alcohol :( read more

Purchased 1 Christmas tree on a Friday and left the store. Less than 2 hours later, I realized after looking at my receipt I was double charged. Drove back to the store to get a refund. Apparently there is only 1 ... ONE... O-N-E ... person who can review camera footage to confirm that I only purchased 1 tree and not 2, and he left for the day, so the manager Bree took my name and number and said to expect a call over the weekend once footage was reviewed, and if it was found that I was double charged, they would refund my credit card without me having to physically go back to the store. Monday came with no phone call, so I had to call them and it was confirmed that I was double charged. Then I was told that I had to physically go back to the store to get my refund. Not only did I have to wait 4 days to get the money they stole, but I had to make 2 trips to the store wasting my time, my gas and my lunch break to get the refund. I did not even get an apology. It was almost as if I inconvenienced THEM due to the double charge. This is NOT how a corporation should operate. Absolutely ridiculous and frustrating. read more

I've always loved coming to this target with my sisters, until recently. We came to this target for basic necessities then we went to check out. A man in a black shirt with a Target name tag , I'm guessing he was a manager, cut through and raced us to the register and cut us in line.
