This is a brand new Target in a new suburban area of North Las Vegas. They started building this just as the recession started. The immediate area has miles of beautiful and unoccupied homes. As majestic as this store is, it's less occupied than most Targets. In my three previous trips to this store, they hadn't skimped on cashiers or service. The store is very clean, very neat, and well stocked-though this isn't a good descriptor during the holidays. Prior to Black Friday, they just were not very busy. I was concerned that their low sales volumes might result in a closure. But thankfully, so far, so good. During Black Friday 2009, it was great that it was super busy for the first time since it opened. Parking is usually easy, but 2/3 of the close to the entry spots were taken around noon. The employees do a great job of keeping the carts in front, and you can usually find an employee if you have a question. On this visit, I was just looking around to see the Black Friday specials, i.e. the large screen TV's. There were the usual picked over, messy displays by customers. There were some crowds as expected but they were civil. No trampling allowed. Snack bars and bathrooms are super clean. Though I came away empty handed, it was nice they were ready for the holiday rush. But the previous time I wast there during Labor Day, one of my relatives wanted to buy the display model of a BBQ. The employee working that area said he didn't think they could sell it, but he called the store manager, anyway. The manager couldn't leave his post, so the employee walked us over to him, and explained our request. The manager said the corporate policy is no sales of display items. But the teen employee called the next closest store and found out they had them. I had to look around and make sure I wasn't at Nordstrom. Wow, well spoken, service minded teen employees do exist! Checkout was 4 minutes tops. Overall a decent shopping trip. read more

Oh my Atlanta I love Target! I'm the biggest Target whore if there ever was one. I would like to argue that this Target in particular is the nicest Target in all the fair lands (or at least Las Vegas). It's in a great location - Winco, Teriyaki Madness, Firhouse Subs, and El Pollo Loco are all in the same parking lot. And, drum roll please....this location is now officially selling alcohol! WOOHOO! Target is awesome because they're just so damn coupon friendly. They have Target Coupons, mobile coupons, and now an app called Cartwheel that can all be combined on top of their gift card deals, sales, and manufacturer coupons. To answer your question, yes I'm a couponer! And by the way, Target now price matches competitors. The only downfall at this location is that there are always long lines with only 2 cashier's trying to ring everyone up. There response time for back up could use some improvement. Final verdict: Target is awesome. Go shop there for everything. read more

My experience with costumer service @ this target has always been great! Until this NEW LADY (In her 30's maybe) black curly hair (big hips) started working at this location I come every week and I berly started seeing her, She's always @ costumer service or self check out! Well this lady is very rude & unprofessional always have an attitude When I picked up online orders & I did another self checkout with her the other day and she completely ignore me and had no manners toward the situation. I really hope the manager at this location will take this into consideration with this new employee! If this doesn't change I will not shop at this location again. Never in my entire life Shopping @ target and Starbucks have I ever had a bad experience with costumer service/ any employee ALL are always very nice , helpful and great MANNERS all the time this is my first time with this new lady! No matter what time of the day you come here there is always lines! They only ever have one or two checkout lanes open. Today this was the case and their lines were about 30 people deep including self checkout. 2 of the self checkout registers were frozen. As we waited in line 2 workers stood next to the registers just talking as we all waited: the girl manning the self checkouts was so rude. I refuse to ever come back to this target!! read more

Whenever I stop by the nearby WinCo or Raising Cane's - both at the opposite end of this shopping plaza - it's usually also a good time to visit this still relatively new and large Target store with convenient parking. You can find most anything you need at Target and this particular store always makes for a quick and efficient shopping experience since it's not as busy or crowded as the competition. One of the household items that I inevitably always end up buying at Target is laundry detergent. They have recurrent sales on Tide HE detergent throughout the year. Whatever you may be looking for, Target is worth considering as a worthwhile and not infrequently better priced option than the elephant in the room, Walmart. read more

This used to be a great store. Now there's trash on the ground and the lines take forever. Open more registers please. I see employees hanging out in the back gossiping while 3 cashiers try to handle 50 shoppers. We used to come here all the time now we avoid it when we can. Please fix these problems. Update 1/12/17 I didn't think that this place could get any worse. I was wrong. If you're an employee and you're buying stuff and your employee discount doesn't work get out of the way so that your customers can check out and go. Also Mrs. Target manager if you sell alcohol and have minors working the cash registers who can't lawfully sell the product, you're solution of having a cashier of legal age come over to finish the transaction while the customer they were taking care of has to wait, isn't working. If they're too young to sell liquor maybe they shouldn't be working the register. And to the minor cashier in question, learn some basic human interaction. Please and thank you's will get you further in life than your eye rolling. We are never coming to this particular Target ever again. read more

Maybe it's the Starbucks inside the front door that drew me to this Target, but the convenient location and customer service keeps me coming back. I have purchased a few electronics at this location as well as discs for the computer. There has never been a long wait to check out and the employees have always been helpful in answering questions and offering assistance. I have been using the pharmacy at Target since moving to the Vegas area and have been using this location in particular since it opened it's doors a few years back. The pharmacy staff at this location is fantastic. They have all been very friendly and helpful. If it's something I need "now", they have been very accomodating and gotten it done quickly. I have even purchased a few grocery items at this location, however, it did take me a while to get used to a full grocery section inside of a Target store. I wouldn't do my regular grocery shopping here, as you can save money elsewhere, but the convenience is great, especially if you are there for other things and have to pick up a few grocery items. I have been to numerous Target stores and this is the cleanest and friendliest of the bunch. read more

So maybe I over exaggerated about wanting to go on a shopping spree at Cost Plus should I win the lottery because I would also spend my windfall at Target. From the clothing to the women's accessories like handbags and shoes, a girl could do some serious damage here. More fun to be had in the home departments such as bedding to furniture. Beautiful, modern updated designs. They now seem to have at least one person working in every department should you have any questions. This store has seemed like a ghost town in recent months unlike its rival Walmart. I prefer the better vibes at Target and the higher-quality items. If I'm going to buy electronics I'd rather do so at Target as you get what you pay for. I'm convinced that Walmarts products may not stand the test of time after purchasing a vacuum which only lasted a year. Now that I'm in the market for another Keurig, it will be purchased at Target. You have to be savvy when purchasing food here as some items may be less expensive to more expensive compared to other grocers. For instance a two liter of soda is $1.79 compared to a $1.00 at Smiths or Walmart. This makes it annoying to have to go to separate stores but when I have the time, I do. The last two times I have been here the snack bar selling Pizza Hut products has been closed. Wanting a hotdog, get.it together. I have never run in to a rude employee here. Ever. I may have encountered heaven on earth in the form of shopping. Just open the snack bar up for us foodies. Please. read more

This is one of the Targets I can keep on going to over and over again. Usually I would be greeted by a security, which is unusual but welcoming. Kind of weird to be seeing them take the carts in. Big and clean. I was excited to hear there were groceries in this one, but it's limited to a aisle of fresh produce and meat and aisles of frozen crap. Which means basically that I can't buy most of what the grocery offers. However, for all the usual stuff I would go to Target for, this one is really nice. The selection of clothes is good and there seems to be home goods stuff I don't see at smaller Targets. Also can't beat that it is also close to a large shopping center full of stuff including a Super WalMart and Costco so it makes for convenient shopping for those doing errands. read more

This used to be "my" Target; there are three within reasonable distance of my house (and two that are pretty much equidistant), and I always chose this one. Recently, the customer service has gone way downhill, and there are other amenities at other Targets (such as a functioning customer service desk for returns and self-checkouts) that have made me venture to other locations. I have had two major issues at this particular location. 1) There is a male checker that will take any and every opportunity to look at his phone. On more than one occasion, he pulled his phone out after finishing scanning my items and I had to point out to him that I had Cartwheel and needed him to scan his phone. If he sees that you're paying with a card, he'll play on his phone until your receipt comes out. That is beyond ridiculous. 2) On my last trip here the cashier totally blew me away. She kept commenting on every single item and quizzing me about it. She then got to a facial toner and asked if it was good, and I said yes and elaborated on it a bit. She mentioned that she may go back and look for it and said that she needed good face stuff, and I quote, "...because my face is F*CKED." I was at a loss for words. I couldn't believe that somebody would say that at work. I'm not a prude or easily offended, but in this case it was totally unprofessional and honestly, it through me for a loop. She then nearly double charged me for several items (after I paid) because she had scanned them and put them back on the belt rather than bagging them. This was the first time in a long time that I filled out one of the surveys on the receipt, and I did receive an email that they would talk to her. Nevertheless, I haven't been back since. I will give them some time and maybe try to come back in a few months. read more

Ok, I've been having some intense debates as to which is a better department store to shop at between Walmart and Target. After visiting this location, Target is the best department store hands down. This location was clean and peaceful, employees were quick to offer assistance, the entire store was very organized and fully stocked, and price wise they were a bit cheaper. I've also learned that you can write off everything you purchase from Target on your tax return as a charity donation because Target donates 20% of its proceeds to U.S. troops. That's amazing! Just know that everything you purchase isn't just benefiting you but its also benefiting our soldiers over seas fighting for our freedom. I am a big fan of Target after this experience. read more

One of many Targets in the area. Large new and clean. The layout is a little different that I am use to but over all easy to navigate. The groceries in this Target seem to have a larger selection than others, including some fresh fruits and vegetables. A few employees who I imagine were off duty or on break walk by us in a awkward way causing us to move out of their way. I made a comment that the employees are not as friendly as we are use to in our normal Target. But the checkout lady was helpful and loaded our bags in our basket for us, as well as the Starbucks employee was very friendly. Conveniently located near Costco and the new WinCo. read more

This Target is my go-to, it's close to my house and I'm here literally 5 days a week at least. I don't know what's going on but this place has gone down hill big time. It's so disappointing! Granted, it's the holidays and I understand lines will be longer and things will be more chaotic but the last two days have been terrible! The women's restroom was absolutely DISGUSTING. Clogged sink, clogged toilet, paper towels falling on the floor from the trash can, the white tile was black... The lines were so long and they had two cashiers. Self check out had TWENTY PEOPLE in line. I was going down an isle and an employee came around the corner really fast, almost ran into me. I say excuse me, even though I feel I didn't do anything wrong, and she just stares at me with a bit**y look on her face and kept walking. The customer service hasn't been great in months, the bathrooms have been gross for months... the busy holiday season has just magnified everything. read more

It has Pizza Hut and a Starbucks!! The store itself has lots of clean, well organized, well stocked merchandise. Every department has a bigger selection than any other Target I've seen. My cashier today was Cassie and she was just plain rude. She walked away during the middle of my transaction and then I guess she remembered me by asking the person in the next lane to finish me. This target location gets an extra star for convenience but that's it. They label items as on sale or as part of buy 3 get one free deals in the aisles but when you get to the register they don't ring up that way. When I pointed this out they claimed it must have been labeled wrong. However, the deal is listed in the weekly ad too. I think they are not updating sale info in their registers. They lost about $50 in business today due to that. The bathrooms and carts are also disgusting. read more

I really like this location because it's hardly ever busy- this also means it's not hard to find a parking space. If we're in the area, like at the Meadows Mall, we'll usually stop here too. The grocery section is really good- especially since there is a frozen food and refrigerated section now (most of them are remodeled). When one Target store, didn't have what we wanted, we came here (tv). The electronics department is fairly close to the grocery aisles. read more
