We were in target when we got a tornado warning. We wanted to check out and leave and the employees started bombarding us and yelling at us to get to the back of the store and refused to let us check out. They told us to either leave our items and leave or go to the back of the store. We left and came back a bit later after the storm had passed to get out items cuz we still wanted them and in the front of the store the employee said we can check out now so we go to grab our stuff and a different employee stomps up to us and says "What are you doing you need to get to the back of the store." so then my sister explains how the employees at the front said it was lifted and we could walk around now and the employee says "No they didn't." and told us we are lying and then proceeded to tell us we have two minutes to get our stuff and get out. We ended up getting our items but the entire shopping trip they were practically harassing all the customers to get to the back and were very rude. There was barely any tornado either it rained for around 3 minutes. read more

Great selection of items with helpful staff. Prices are pretty good from my point of view, and I always come here instead of walmart.

This Target is nice as it's not too crowded during the off season when the tourists haven't started flocking to the area. If you buy groceries here, make sure to check expiration dates and mold. read more

This store strictly enforced social distancing. Hand sanitizer is available for all customers, and wearing of masks by customers and staff is also enforced. Carts were wiped down as they were returned for use. The store is clean, and the staff is very courteous and attentive. Their Halloween aisle was fully stocked with holiday merchandise. I saw a lot of shelf stocking going on as I shopped. Some of their items are very pricey, compared to their competitors. Their check out is quick and lines are organized for quick and easy processing. I usually have an enjoyable time shopping at Target. Definitely a return trip. read more

I would like to say that I am a mail and even this pissed me off. Target try to make so many fun swimsuits that nobody can wear because they don't have any sizes for anyone large or small. I'm one of the few that just don't care for target. Not that it's bad per se, I just don't care for it. This one in LG is good, it's clean, and has what very other target has. I could do without the aisles blocked with carts of stock and workers with their radios on volume level 11. Get in, get what you need. read more

What qualifies giving a target 4 stars? The fact that they are never out of stock of what I need and the people are friendly. I've been going here for years and this is has that small town feel meaning folks are nice and helpful. It's always clean and organized. The Starbucks up front is a welcome relief when I am shopping with my teen. Really like the redesign of the Spot's dollar section up front. I don't buy groceries here but everything else is part of my weekly trip. Well sometimes it's more than weekly depending on teen needs which never end. So glad this store is here- other stores don't always have the same selections or prices. read more

Can't say much for this Target. It's clean and spacious. It's slower than the Walmart down the street and I almost exclusively shop at the Walmart down the street. When they first opened, I noted the prices were slightly higher than at Walmart for certain goods, but I can't compare now. That's why I shop the Walmart here in Lake Geneva. In the city of Chicago, I almost always choose the Target over a Walmart though because they are cleaner and more orderly. read more

I stopped there to pick up a few things during my lunch hour and to get a quick lunch to take with me on my way back to the office. OMG. I grabbed a cheese personal pizza. While waiting to pay for my food, the person who was training another person was putting her very long hair in pony tail to pull through her cap all around food that was being prepared She made me wait while she trained the person on how to make pretzels. Then she came over to the register, without washing her hands and allowed me to pay for my food. She then went about her work. YUCK! I didn't eat my pizza. I was tempted to tell her and her manager but I thought I would go about it this way. I will never eat there again or get coffee at Starbucks either. They should have to wear nets and basic restaurant hygiene is not followed. Gross read more

I have always been impressed with the customer service at this location. They are always kind, and helpful. While the selection may not be as varied as other Target locations due to it's somewhat smaller size, the store is always clean and pleasant to shop in. It's somewhat of a "home" for me and many others. It's always a pleasant experience! read more

Other than Its Entrance is too far to get to using my Walker from the Hdcp. parking.. I love the place.. Its not Filled with alot of Super Old Greeters that Look like Zombies and Poor Fat People Like Wal Mart is.. and there is always parking in their Hndcp spaces. Being a Hndcp Veteran ..but Making $60k yr, Its worth it to go to Target.. It attracts more Upper Class People and not Trailer Trash and Rednecks. read more

I was shopping this morning for two elderly high risk family members and stopped at Target for paper products. All they needed were paper towels so I went to the checkout with two packages of Bounty paper towels. I was stopped and informed I could only purchase one due to the short supply. When I explained that I was shopping for high risk family members who couldn't get out it fell on deaf ears. The employees and the manager were both rude and showed no compassion or understanding. My wife and I have not hoarded during this time and instead shop as we need showing respect for others. I am appalled at the lack of understanding and total disregard for my health that this store and their employees showed me by forcing me to make another trip putting myself in harms way while only trying to be a good person. This place is pretty clean and nice, I don't often frequent this one. But when i do i always make a check in the toy section (Hotwheels mostly) and it is almost always empty. so i think they could stock the shelves more often. Other than that this store is usually pretty quite. read more

Extremely disappointed in the customer service here! I asked a random employee to help me find something. I was looking for pencil grips in school/office. She pointed to school/office like I'm some dummy who didn't know where to look. I informed her that I had already looked there and, that the area was so cluttered that I wasn't sure if I had overlooked it. I just wanted to know if Target even carries the item. She didn't know (didn't offer to help me look) and, sent me to customer service. I browsed a bit before heading to customer service. There, I find the employee I already spoke to chatting with an employee behind the counter. I was told, it would be a minute. There were no other customers in sight. She asked what I needed after a minute. I told her what I was looking for. Again I was asked if I looked in school/office. YES, for goodness sakes! Will you please just tell me if you carry this item. "Hm, I dunno. Look in the dollar spot" What? That's even more cluttered than the area I was in previously! I'm not wasting my time digging through stuff just to find out it isn't even carried at the store. I plan to complain to a manager. Guest Service my butt! read more

Went to Target in lake Geneva tonight after work. Today is Black Friday. I got to there at about 7pm and they close at 10. The crowds were definitely gone by then but there were still the typical amount of people shopping as they would any other day of the year. I shopped for about a half hour in the clothing department and then started looking around the other departments. I asked my boyfriend where all the door buster signs were. Nothing was marked. He told me they started taking them down and he saw a manager tell the other employees to start taking them down. This was at 8:30 and that's being generous it may have been earlier. I was a little irritated. I worked all day servicing other Black Friday shoppers at the store where I work and this was my time to find a few deals before they closed at 10. I went to the checkout at about 9:45 and only knew if some of the items were deals but hoped other things I gathered were too. I asked woman at the register why they took down the doorbuster signs early and she couldn't give me an answer and just shrugged it off. As I leave the parking lot I leave this review. read more
