I brought my teenagers here the other day and they loved it! You definitely need to learn the system of waiting for new bins coming out and the protocol. You can easily identify the regulars here. Pretty sure they spend all day there and sell online. All the workers are really laid back and friendly. Definitely a chill environment.

This was an interesting place. This isn't your typical thrift store. The Goodwill Outlet is a place where the stuff that's not sold at your regular Goodwill store is sent too. There are no shelves or hangers that items or clothing are on. There are just bins. Everything is just thrown in bins. The process is you dig through the bins to try and find an item you want. There is no organization. They try I guess to have a clothes and a shoe section and then miscellaneous items but everything gets all mixed together. The problem with this is, you need time. Time to dig and move things around. In the miscellaneous items, there are so many broken items. You're moving 10 broken items to find 1 good item. And when I say good item I'm just saying it's not broken. It doesn't mean that it's something you would ever want. It's just not broken. I highly suggest if you visit this place or any Goodwill Outlet. I hear there are more out there, that you wear gloves. Again, this is stuff that is unsold and rejected stuff that wouldn't be put in the regular stores. Some of this stuff looks and smells like it just came out of the hamper and sometimes worse. Just be safety conscious. This isn't a Covid suggestion, this is beware of the filth that people wanted to get rid of and they didn't care what condition it was in when they dropped it off. There's a reason the staff wears gloves all the time. And this was before Covid. They know the risk of random used items from people. You never know where it came from. As for the staff. The greeter was very friendly. The cashier was great. I felt sorry for the people on the floor. I watched the floor staff just keep going up and down the isles constantly cleaning and picking items up off the floor because inconsiderate (expletives) just throw stuff on the floor instead of moving things around in the bins. They just take items out of the bins and right onto the floor to make room. The problem is, these lazy people don't put it back in the bins when they're done. They leave it for the floor staff to pick it up. The other thing is the kids. Oh the kids. I don't know if the stuff comes in prebroken or if the kids break it. This is like a playground for the kids while the inconsiderate parents are digging through the bins. It's a free for all. Kids play with stuff and leave it laying on the floor. People, this isn't a playground, it's a place of business. Be freaking responsible and watch your kids! The pricing structure here is you purchase by the pound. It's $1.39 per pound. They have scales at the checkouts. Books, cd's and dvd's are $1 each. I believe heavier electronic items are priced differently also, I just don't remember how those are priced. After all this, we did find a couple of items, but all in all, I don't think we'll go back. The staff were great but just the cleanliness of the items and bins is something I don't want to deal with again.

Parking is convenient and easy to access, though some spots can feel a bit tight. What stood out most was the quality and variety of stores. I loved seeing favorites like Calvin Klein, American Eagle, and Bath & Body Works, along with many luxury retailers. It truly feels like there's something for everyone, no matter your style or budget. Overall, this mall offers a wide range of shopping experiences and does a great job catering to different tastes so I'd definitely come back.

So let me get this straight: Not only are you now charging $13 for parking that was free for years,…read morebut you've outsourced the 'experience' to a tech company that tracks my every move. It's transparently greedy. We all know you're too cheap to install actual kiosk boxes, so you've offloaded the work onto the customers. You think it's 'convenient' because we don't have to download an app and can just 'text to pay,' but that's just a clever way to link my phone number and credit card to your invasive computer vision surveillance. Standing in a drafty garage, scanning QR codes, and handing over my personal data just to spend money at your stores is not 'innovation'--it's a data-mining chore. Between the constant plate-scanning and the 'AI' tracking my vehicle, you've turned a simple shopping trip into a privacy nightmare. I'll be taking the 'convenient' route of shopping online or driving to a suburban mall that still understands what 'free parking' means and doesn't treat its patrons like test subjects in a tech lab.

It's clean, easy to navigate, and has a great mix of stores--whether you're looking for budget-friendly deals or brand-name finds. I've scored amazing pieces at places like Nike, Old Navy, and Bath & Body Works (and the clearance racks be rackin' ). One thing I really appreciate is that it's not overwhelming. It's a chill shopping experience with wide walkways, plenty of parking, and restrooms that are actually easy to find and clean. It's not a "huge" mall, but it's just right when you want to get out, walk around, and treat yourself without driving too far or dealing with crowds. Great for quick stops or a slow weekend browse. Definitely a go-to for our household!

Date of visit: August 30, 2024…read more I tend to visit this outlet mall far less than all the others on account of not heading this direction as often as I am towards Pleasant Prairie or Oshkosh, but also because this mall is much smaller than the others. And not having been in a few years, I can see that it is considerably smaller yet due to the number of closures at the mall. There are easily a half-dozen empty storefronts here, and the buildings themselves are definitely not being kept up, either. I do not think this mall will be around in a couple years unless management steps in and revitalizes it. Don't even get me started on the danger of trying to cross the street between the two sides of the development, either as we witnessed multiple cars run the stop sign in our short time there.

Knowing all this about it, and knowing that half the mall was demolished a while ago to make way for Woodman's, I paid it a visit for the first time in my life out of boredom and random curiosity in June 2024. I was, bluntly, expecting a quick power walk through a depressing, barely-there interior that would only take a few minutes. Instead, what I got was...fine? Make no mistake about it - it is very much a dead mall, with only like 6 stores remaining, a (quite good) coffee stand, Auntie Anne's, and a Planet Fitness accounting for most of the cars in the parking lot; but it's...well-maintained? I noticed a maintenance worker squeegeeing the windows around the entrance on my way out, there was ample security, and the interior is well-lit and clean. The stores that do exist are similarly cared for, staffed by friendly faces, and honestly feel like individual trips back in time 20-30 years when Regency probably had more life to it. Throw in the fact that Spencer Gifts still has the old neon exterior and you can practically hear Tiffany playing as you walk the mostly-empty halls (or not, because the piped-in Muzak on my visit really, really liked Bon Jovi). I could keep going on about how bizarrely okay my Regency visit was, but I'll end it by saying that I feel strangely optimistic for its future. If Woodman's actually gets built, the apartments and hotel actually follow, and Microsoft actually sticks to their promise of a data center in nearby Mount Pleasant, the remnants of Regency may yet have life ahead of them as an anachronistic, enclosed strip mall surrounded by other big-box retail. I'll be rooting for them; they seem like fine folks.

I've been shopping this mall for years and it's a mixed experience for sure. It's painfully large for one thing, you need to plan ahead. If you think you want to just walk around the mall to shop... wear good shoes because it's a trek. I recommend driving to different sections to take some of the burden off yourself. Selection varies constantly. They keep a few outlet stores I like but a lot of stores I enjoyed simply came and went. There are more high priced shirt stores than any one mall needs, I'll say that. Service varies by store so quite a bit. I like the vans store, always helpful staff in there. This mall still has a rainforest cafe! Pure nostalgia and a good place to take kids. There's really plenty to eat here, and plenty to eat adjacent as well. They've got some movie screens and though they aren't the cleanest they do get some fun exclusive events too. This mall has its ups and downs for sure. It can be kind of magical to shop here during holiday time but the rest of the year you definitely should have a specific destination in mind.

But yesterday was the first time I ever ordered the Irish Reuben. My wife and I were trying to decide what to have, when Louis (our favorite bartender) gave us the details on the Irish Reuben. This is not a traditional Reuben (there is no Sauerkraut or Thousand Island Dressing). The Corned Beef is baked in brown sugar consommé, Tullamore Dew Irish Whiskey, and Guinness Stout. It is served with Guinness Braised Cabbage, Caramelized Onions, and Swiss Cheese. It is incredible. This is on my Mt. Rushmore of sandwiches. It is that good.
