YES... only if these two individuals are there to help. They didn't miss a beat, made pleasant conversation, helped me find exactly what I was looking for. I always have looked past it because I like the quality of the clothes. Today however I had an incident that may make me not return to the store or even support Torrid further. I am in the store and purchase an item. Then I ask the girl checking me out if they price match the online prices. At this point the sale is complete. She says they can but I would have had to do it before checking out. So I ask about exchanging the item for the lesser price. The manager comes over and says something about no they can't do that because of how the receipt runs in the system. So I left the store, I then turned and when back in to just return the item...I was told no, I can't return the item because their system won't have it processed for 24 hours. I left very frustrated. Number 1 that is the worst possible policy. So you mean to tell me if they made an error and rang something up twice and I catch it after I check out, they can't correct it for 24 hours? I find that hard to believe. Number 2 I called another store and was told the information I was given by the always unpleasant manager in McHenry was a LIE!! So needless to say, trying to scam your customers doesn't gain you any.

Unfortunately, I didn't find anything else in the store that I liked, and the other items were significantly more expensive than my original purchase. As an out-of-town visitor, a gift card was useless to me, which the sales associate was aware of. This situation was handled poorly--when a product breaks right away, I should have been given a refund. Will not return.

Some of the things I've bought from here don't always last long, but you get what you pay for. Make sure you try on jeans and shorts before buying; they definitely fit differently than they would at other stores. At this particular location, the staff has always been friendly. I've been going here for years, but I can't remember a time when I've felt that the people working weren't genuine and kind. You can bring as many items as you want into the fitting rooms. Sometimes there's an attendant that will ask if you need any other sizes, but often times, you can just walk right in. They have an equally large men's section for clothes, which I haven't found often. This is nice if we're shopping for my brother, or if I'm looking for clothes for my boyfriend. They have a lot of selection. This is one of the best Old Navys I've been too, and one of the best places to shop in McHenry!

Their answer is always, "We can order that for you". No, I don't want you to order me a $100 pair of shorts I don't know how they will fit on me because I was totally unable to try on because you have none in the store. If I wanted to look at a picture of something and order it, I'd stay in the comfort of my own home and order all of my clothing online. P.S - The awful, country music you're BLARING in the store is hard to listen to. I cannot concentrate because the music is so loud. I can't stand inside the store more than 5 minutes before I feel compelled to run out the door. Which is why when you ask if I want to try something on, I'll say "no, I'll just buy it, try it on at home and bring it back if I don't like it."
