The Starbucks here is just as worst, no one is never present to take your order. No no no. Why target do you only have one person working both Starbucks and the vendor side for food? Not sure why everyone thinks this Target is so great. I mean it's Target...with an oddly arranged parking lot and 800 million more suburban children running around than necessary. I don't generally post reviews for grocery or department stores, but my visit to this Target today absolutely warrants a review. Rarely do I get the personalized care and attention I received during my visit today. Yesterday I purchased a keyboard for my iPad Pro (from a different Target) and although it was not a keyboard specific to the iPad Pro, the salesperson assured me it would work. Not only was it incompatible, but also much too large. I came to this location today to exchange the keyboard. A huge kudos to Edward, who processed my return. The shout out is not because he was doing his job, but because he went way over the call of duty. While browsing the electronics section for a compatible keyboard, I heard Edwards voice calling me over! He actually left the front (he can do that as I later found out he is a member of the execution team), to come and assist me in my search. Together we found the perfect keyboard! Customer service is so simple, yet so many people miss the mark! So thank you Edward, for making this Target trip a memorable one! read more

Had terrible customer service experiences at this Target location. Today's experience takes the cake. I was browsing the baby section of the store and noticed a promotion for Honest Wipes 72 count. I picked up 6 and proceeded to self checkout. I rung two up and noticed the promotion didn't apply. I took my two purchased and remaining 4 in my basket. Target team member said the deal should be honored per the sign. She gave me the giftcard for the two I purchased at the checkout. Then rings up my remaining four and tells me my total is $20.17. As I was about to swipe my card the manager Lisa says that I cannot purchase the remaining four because the promotion is invalid and to leave with the two I already have. I replied I'm already in the middle of my transaction you can't just do that when the sign is up in the store. She said Target reserves the right to honor our signs and I'm canceling your transaction and you can't leave here with these wipes. I asked her for her boss's name. She said all you need to know is mine. I asked her to write her name down. She said I'm not writing anything down for you my name is Lisa. Very unprofessional add rude. This store needs a serious overhaul with leadership and training on customer service. She treated me like I did something wrong. I was trying to purchase the deal as stated by their sign. read more

I have 3 Targets right by my house but this is the one I go to the most. As Falicia mentioned, it had a makeover and it was quite a makeover! Before the store was small and did not have much to offer me, now it is double in size, has a frozen food section AND a Starbucks. My only complaint is that the shoe section is lacking at times. Rude customer service. There were only 2 lines open and 1 express line. Each of the two lines had two customers with a few items. I was like well it's a slow day and the express line is free. Let me go there. I had 10 yogurts and 4 small dog treat bags. I was denied because it wasn't ten items or less. It wasn't even a crowded day! The lady refuse to ring me up. I understand if it was busy and I'm trying to cram all my stuff in an express line then that would be me being an a-hole. For efficiency sake, she could of taken me and other lines wouldn't have built up. I stood in the regular line for 10 mins while she could of taken checked out my items in 2 mins. This is the only Target location convenient to me, and if I had other choices, I would avoid it. I find Up & Up items to be great quality for the price, which keeps me coming back, begrudgingly. However, after years of shopping there, I know I'm never in for a particularly pleasant experience. I can't really recount all the incidents I've encountered. However, the first standout is the Starbucks. Years ago I used to enjoy "Target zen," as I called it, where I got some Starbucks and meandered through the store leisurely. Now, more often than not, when I go to the counter, the Starbucks is completely unmanned. Once it took ten minutes and several different cashiers intervening to get someone up there. Once it took just as long, only to find out that they were all on lunch with no signage indicating so much. Last time I had to go find someone in the room behind the counter, as there was a line and no one seemed concerned. Then there's Juanita. She WILL NOT unload your hand-held basket. In my defense, I never realized this was a thing. If I was committing a serious faux pas by putting my basket on the conveyor belt, my apologies - I truly didn't know. But whereas in an establishment with good customer service, the cashier will merely take your items out of your basket and ring them up with a smile (maybe even a forced one), Juanita absolutely will not do so - she actually made me hand them to her one by one. I've observed others since my two incidents with Juanita, and i've found that even Publix cashiers put their baskets on the belts (they're also cashiers, so if it's a thing, I would imagine they wouldn't do that), and the cashier on duty unloads it with no complaints. I have never experienced anything like this particular cashier refusing to serve me unless I took my items out of the basket, and I've been around a third of a century. It's annoying that shelves get stocked during the day. I get that it might be a necessity for a little while in order to stay in business. However, if a large cart of items waiting to be stocked is in the way of what I am trying to get to, good customer service would dictate that the employee would say "I'm sorry, let me get out of your way" or "can I get something for you?" However, at this location, it seems I'M the one in the way. I have to bend and stretch to reach what I'm trying to get without any acknowledgement from employees, and I feel like I'm a nuisance for slowing them down. If I kept listing the annoying incidents I've encountered, I'd really sound petty. But other than those egregious examples, it's always something. Always something small or moderate that takes what could be a pleasant shopping experience and just leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Shout out to Buck. I almost feel bad writing this entire review because Buck is so kind to me every time I see him. He does none of the above, and I hate that his fellow employees might reflect poorly on him. Same goes for Latoya, but I think she's been gone a few years by now. She was always a ray of sunshine amidst the decline of one of my favorite places to shop. I used to love this store, and it used to be my escape when my kids were babies and I was able to steal a few minutes to myself. Now it's a place I tolerate because I can save a few dollars on certain items. I sure hope that they'll take feedback from their customers and really start to focus on the customer experience. read more

I have always loved Target, and the location is fairly close to me, so I frequent this Target about every 1-2 weeks. The facility is clean, and the employees are attentive and knowledgeable. This location has only boosted my love of Target, but I wish this location was a SuperTarget since the location on Venture Drive closed recently. read more

OKAY. The Target, as a place to shop for goods, was fine. BUT the photo desk area is atrocious. I ordered a photo book online 4 days ago. I received a confirmation email telling me to go to THIS store to pick it up because it was ready. I get there, and no one is at the desk. Okay, so I do some shopping and wait around for a bit until I realize there's a buzzer to alert the employees when someone needs help with the photo stuff. I ring the buzzer. This woman strolls over. I wish I'd gotten her name but I didn't. She didn't look me in the eye, she seemed extremely annoyed about me being over there, etc etc. I explained my situation, told her my name and attempted to give her the confirmation number. She says "ok i'm lookin" and starts randomly opening all the drawers in the area but doesn't actually LOOK in them to see what's in there. All the countertops were cluttered with shit, there seemed to be no organization at all. She says "you're just gonna have to wait" and walks away for 20 minutes. Next, she sends another woman over there who basically did the same shit. Sure, she looked at the drawers a little bit more in detail, but overall she seemed very unconcerned about the situation. She asks for my name like 20 times, keeps calling me the wrong name, and all the while I'm just sitting there silently watching. She tells me there's no record of a book ever being completed for me which, since I have a confirmation email saying otherwise, doesn't make a whole lot of sense but okay. The two women stare at the computer, contninuing to tell me that there's no record of my order (that i spent HOURS putting together btw). The only time I felt like anyone gave a shit about how much of an inconvenience this was was when a male came over to the photo area, spoke to me, and offered me 50% off if i placed the order again. i said no thank you because I didn't trust th book would even be ready and I'd already driven an hour out of my way. Long story short: the two women who were "helping" with the photo desk were ridiculous. They were rude, disrespectful and very unhelpful. I'll never purchase anything else through the photo app again with Target because of this experience. The guy was great. I've worked in customer service before so I knew there was no point to yell at them/be bitchy. I was mad the book wasn't ready but I'm also not so irrational that I can't get past a computer fuck up. what COULD be different is the way staff handled it. If I were manager, I'd fire those women and find someone who can at least pretend to give a shit about the customer. read more

It starts out with the entry being on the wrong side of the world. In this country one drives, walks and does most travel to the right side. Then one goes to Target and you go into the entry and get locked in between the doors. The first door on the right, where one normally enters, opens and the second does not. Then you just stand there until someone comes out or you go back out and go in the "wrong door". Next is the K-mart help. None exists. Go to another store and find life easier on your nerves. Workers here used to be really unfriendly and rude, but now they are simply WEIRD. They ask me questions or make comments about every items they are scanning. "Nice choice!"-after scanning first item. "Did you buy this as a gift?"-scanning second item. "It's always nice to treat yourself like that!"-third item. "Wow you've got some good stuff!"-fourth. "Good choice!"-fifth and continued while scanning the rest of twenty three items. Came in today for a online return, the lady (didn't get her name) lane 2, was not very friendly. I had to purchase a few other items and when I swiped my credit card the machine read error, this card has micro chip. I looked at the lady and she gave me no direction, I looked at cc machine and saw a slot on bottom to place credit cards with micro chips in them, just my guess. I was right. The screen says enter pin. I looked at her and said ma'am this is a cc I don't have a pin, she just looked and stared, like giving me no direction on what to do next. I repeated myself to her, this is a credit card. There is no pin. Finally she says press the red button. So i do and it cancels out the transaction. I said ma'am, that cleared it out. She said nothing, just waiting for me to figure it out for myself I suppose. Swipe #2 & Up pops the enter pin, I looked at her, repeating myself, yet again, and she said take card out, I said no it says please wait.. I figured out myself to press the yellow button for credit. She didn't know anything about it. Wasn't helping me or anything, just standing there like a mime. When I told her that, I said nicely. In order to run it for credit you press the yellow button not the red, she mumbled something and then said that these machines were new and that she was still trying to figure out how to work them, or something like that. I said okay ma'am I was just telling you that so you would know for future reference when you have another customer come along. (Since i had to figure it out myself and she just stood there like a mime, smh) anyways as soon as I looked up to grab my bag she had jetted off, leaving the front registers. I didn't even get a thank you, greeting, or anything. This target front end gets an F for customer service. Bad, bad, bad experience. Customer service is key people. This is the Target that I usually shop with and at times, I have found the customer service to be sub par. With that said, today was an exception!! I went to customer service to price match a toy for my grandson. The sales girl, Sarah, was delightful! Not only did she help me price match, she reminded me of my cartwheel app which I saved additional $$ on holiday lights. This took quite a bit of time to help me and she treated me as though I was the only customer in the store. She had a great attitude and was joy to work with. Too many times, people are quick to give negative reviews but not the positive. Today, I feel she deserves the 5 star rating! ( I also LOVE Josephine who works there too!)
