In wake of this pandemic, we still have to get groceries and this is the closest location to where I live. Target has been remodeling starting before all this mayhem and Let me say this whole thing has been rouggghhhhhhhh. This target location is trying their absolute best. They've restricted morning hours to help the vulnerable, they are TRYING to keep things as stocked as they can, and they agave upped security as people are losing their minds and trying to steal, and leaving their carts everywhere, which you cannot count against Target at all since they aren't the ones stealing and are keeping up in the chaos. This Target is close to my house, so I am a frequent customer! I haven't noticed anything that sets it apart from other Targets, so if you like one, you're probably going to like them all. I'm always able to find what I need and have never noticed a big mess or had a poor customer service experience. I HAVE forgotten my Target card before and they are unable to look it up for you, unlike many other store credit card options, which is frustrating, but that is a cooperate issue, not specific to this location. This is my go-to location, only due to its proximity to my home. The lines can get congested during prime hours or during the weekend, but they recently installed self check-out lines, which seem to have helped traffic a bit. It's just a regular, non-Super Target...whose Target mystique still sucks you into its overspending vortex, when all you wanted was an umbrella and some toothpaste. Pros: close proximity, decent grocery selection, 1st local place I could find Huy Fong Sriracha after "Sriracha Scare 2014", weird end-cap sales items, booze, cheapest high-quality beef jerky in town. Cons: "Womens" section has shrunk over the years and is currently abysmal, many service members more interested in chatting than assisting, BUSY, items frequently picked over or out-of-stock, Starbucks service & quality is sporadic. read more

Good 'ol faithful target. It's pricey on some items, but a steal on others! Came here hoping that they had ink for our office. SCORE! I didn't even know they had a 'ink section'. Its Target, though i have been to better ones.They sometimes run out of things. I cant think of anything specific but seems there is usually 1 item on my list is out of stock when i go. I have not interacted with any staff other than the checkout staff. They have always been nice, courteous and quick. I would though like to not be asked every time if i want to sign up for the credit card or debit card. The positives are that it is a great location for all of us on the near north side, The store also sells food and alcohol which is great and they do have most of what one needs at a Target. They also usually have at minimum half of the checkout lines open so there is usually very little wait once you get up there. Its more about convince and consistence. they have both for me so they will keep my business. read more

I love target, and this location is no different. My favorite (and least favorite) part about any target is that I can go in to look for one item and easily find about 10 other items I didn't even realize I wanted or needed at the time. This location has been fairly organized most times I've been here, as well as well stocked with friendly employees. They have a great market/pantry area which has a solid selection of fresh produce, novelty items, and a fairly decent beer and wine selection available. I particularly am a sucker for the self care and school supply sections which boast of a large selection of face care products, hand and foot care items, and everything a teacher could want or need within a few feet of each other. They also have a Starbucks inside which is quite convenient for shopping purposes. It is a bit slow and crowded most days, however the employees here are also very friendly which helps compensate for the wait time. read more

This Target is really going downhill, or maybe it's just what's going on with most discount department stores. We went in yesterday, the pharmacy was closed at 5:30 p.m. on a Saturday. No nasal spray at all, the shelves looked like they had been stripped. They no longer carry two of my favorite shampoos, although they were popular. And my favorite Shea body scrub, lemongrass and ginger. I had been buying it for years at Target, and a few months ago, I actually took the time to complain that they were out. The lady at customer service said, "we don't carry it any more..... it's corporate, can't do anything... You can complain if you want, won't do any good.....You can order it on line, then come in to pick up." So I actually did. They gave me such a short time to get it, just a few days, so when I got there, they had sent it back.... So, is it surprising that I've decided to move our prescriptions to Walgreens and order my other stuff from Amazon? read more

I normally wouldn't review a store like Target, but the weird/funny exchange I had with one of their employees yesterday made me change my mind. I like this Target. It is close to home, big, and has everything...or so I thought. Due to all the rain and snow we've gotten lately, my basement guest room has a big wet spot in the middle of the floor probably because the water table is so high. Not a lot of water, just enough wetness that I can see a 3 foot ring of damp carpet. I needed a fan to dry it out. My first thought was Target. Because I'm going out of the country soon, I also needed to pick up some travel size toiletries. I'm wandering around the store...picking up this and picking up that. I wander into the gardening supply section and see the hoses, sprinklers, watering cans, etc. but I hadn't found any box fans anywhere in the store -- thinking they'd be with the small appliances. I see an employee while I am in the garden area and ask him where the fans are. He looks right at me and says: "We won't have spring items for another couple of weeks." WTH?! I'm surrounded by hoses, sprinklers, and other gardening supplies...wouldn't THOSE be spring items? He just blinks...I sigh. I pick up a sprinkler for my yard and go to the checkout line. Well, fortunately, Lowe's is in the same shopping area as Target and I was able to run in there and pick up the fan that I needed. read more

As Targets go this one is pretty good. The parking can be a pain in the butt, what are you going to do? There is something about Target that every store is the same - you smell popcorn whenever you walk in. They make you hungry. This Target has a different set up in the home goods section - they have areas that actually look like sitting rooms so you have an idea of what a room might look like. It's a neat idea. This store is P Fresh so you don't have as much of a selection for food but there is enough to get one through. Lines can get pretty long and the staff needs to go a better job and controlling the flow - suggesting someone move to another lane, call for back up cashiers. I also find it interesting that this store has self check out - never come across that before. Over all it's a clean store, the staff is not terrible, and for the most part they have what I need. read more

Living so close to Target has been very dangerous to my bank account. Because let's be honest, who can really control themselves when they walk around a Target? Not me. I will walk in, only needing 2-3 items, and then leave with 10-15 items that I didn't intend to buy and spending more money than I anticipated. But, I LOVE this Target. This specific location is an older Target, so it is smaller than other Target's, but that means it is very easy to navigate. They have a very large selection of: furniture and home goods, seasonal holiday items, and their electronic section and associates are great! Their carts are always well organized and waiting by the front doors, the store is clean, and the Customer Services Associates are always extremely helpful. Now, that I have frequented this Target so often, I actually prefer it compared to the ones around town. read more

This Target was a great addition for Glendale. It really spurred the revitalization of the area. It's pretty clean (as are most Targets) and very convenient for me as I workout at the gym right across the street. It's not a Super Target so it doesn't have a full grocery. However, all Targets now feature a pantry and some fresh and frozen items so you can pick up some foodstuffs here for sure. read more

This is a solid get-what-you-need Target. I want to love this Target without reservation. It never totally disappoints me but it also never completely delights me. I'm sorry, but I have loved another Target more so it is difficult for me to give my heart to this Target. The shelves are sometimes bare before re-stocking occurs and I am never surprised to find my exact brand or size simply isn't in stock. This location lacks a little in inventory and organization but makes up for those drawbacks by having a good amount of food items and being centrally-located. Another positive: they usually have enough check-out lanes open. I would say that 4 out of 5 times I have visited this Target, the check-out lanes are sufficient and I am out of there and to my car in short order. Once I am ready to leave a Target, after 45 minutes of wandering the aisles for things I don't need, I need to get out fast! Having plenty of check-out lanes open is HUGE! read more

This is a pretty good Target store. It's a brand new design inside and has the expanded grocery section (still falls short of a Super Target, but has all the staples and some fresh produce items). As I expect from any Target store, they have a great selection of quality, trendy items and their prices are always decent. The staff in this store is always friendly and helpful. Compared to some of the other Targets in town, their front end tends to be appropriately staffed, so long lines to check out are more the exception than the norm. I will agree with some of the other reviewers, however, that this store tends to run out of items a lot, especially on weekends. They probably need to up the volume they ship to this store. read more

Today at Target a young man with his hair colored blue absolutely stole my heart. This young man noticed a woman in need of help, and after helping her she attempted to tip him over and over again, he was so grateful but explained he couldnt accept the money (it's hard to turn money down at times like these). At this same moment he saw an older man barely able to walk into the store, he stopped the gentleman and offered to get him a wheelchair. Moments later he returned with a wheelchair. We need more people like this in the world. Target is lucky to have this young man as an employee. I hope someone is monitoring this and gives him the credit he deserves. read more

This Target frequently is out of stock of items I want. Service is just fine, but I like to get what I came for when I go to a Target. The parking is good, the customer service is average, but I rarely have to wait more then a few minutes in the check out line. Super miffed over the visit I just had at this target. Went in to purchase 5 things - heart burn aid, Velcro, pure cranberry juice, popcorn, and shelves that I had previously bought at this target. I've also bought the cranberry juice and popcorn at this store. I left with 0/5 items. I could not find Velcro, which I was expecting. They were out of the medicine - this target is frequently out of things. In place of the popcorn I like to buy were either super-butter "movie" options or insanely priced organic options. Over four dollars for 2 bags of rosemary popcorn? I know how to use seasoning, thanks. In place of the pure cranberry juice were a million different versions of cranberry flavored sugar water. The most frustrating part of this trip was finding the shelves. I wanted another set of shelves that I purchased at this target. They totally reorganized the store and I wandered around for at least 10 minutes looking for the shelves. In that time I saw no employees to ask for help. I eventually found them in the home improvement section after walking up and down every single aisle. The shelving area was a mess. The same types of shelves weren't grouped together, some of the boxes were torn up, and they didn't even have my shelves. I rarely go here after my previous experiences, but this really is the last time unless I need a few cheap items out of their silly bins. Update: Also not a fan of this Starbucks location. Popped in to return some shelves and bought a cappuccino - it was half foam. I realize that foam is a hallmark of cappuccino, but this was ridiculous. read more

There always seems to be a lot of customers here, but I know where everything I need is for the most part, so I can avoid the crowds lol. Since the Castleton store closed this the Target I frequent the most. I loved the $1 section at the front, it is almost impossible to go in there and not buy something from that section. Clever marketing and placement strategy. Their grocery section is ok. I am not able to do my full grocery shopping there but it is ok for quick pick up of grocery items if you're willing to substitute in some brand favorites. Their boy's section is just ok. Not a lot of option in my opinion which seems to be common for boy clothes. The younger/toddler section is better. The customer service today was not very good. The young lady at the counter (I was doing a direct exchange with a receipt) was almost mute. I am being sarcastic but it was like she was doing her very best to process my order with as few words as possible. Example, I asked her 2x if I gave her the right receipt, she did not answer at all. She had a smug look on her face and continued to do her thing. I asked her again and another questions tacked on to it she, again barely answered. Sigh. Whatever. I got done with I needed but it was a strange interaction. I'll be back, no choice it seems as I don't always want to schlep to 116th street. read more

Just all-around lackluster customer service. The RUDEST lady was working the self checkout lanes. Empty product spaces all over the store. Nothing has improved since the last time I was here several months ago. The WORST Target I've had to shop at from California to Washington DC. Clean and nice store architecture but avoid this store if you love a normal Target experience. Meijer is right down Keystone or head up to the Carmel / Carmel West Target stores. Customer service is severely lacking in this store! I was visiting my niece and buying her some gift items for her home. As my cashier was ringing us up she asked about a dish drain I had and why it wasn't marked with a price. I said I didn't know. She then shouted she couldn't sell it to us! I incredulously asked her why not ask for a price check. She asked me what price was on it. I said I believed it was $1.99. She shouted again saying, oh no that can't be and I can't sell this to you! How accusatory! I again asked her to ask for a price check. My niece and I were very annoyed! She hollered for someone and a Fella came over and said he'd check the price. As she continued ringing my order she proceeded to question a few items pricing. All of which I couldn't help her and asked her to check. I said it wasn't my fault they were not marked. So I asked her to just not bother ringing some of them! Oh and she also bruised my bananas tossing them across the counter. So here comes the Fella with the pricing for the dish rack, which was one item on our list we needed, and it was priced at $1.99, just as I had told her. She made a smart remark and finished our order of over $200. I should have just canceled my entire order but since they were a gift for my niece, I kept them. I went straight to customer service but the Manager was not there. We explained what happened to the customer service member and she assured us she would relay it to the Manager. Hopefully they spoke to the cashier and educated her on proper pricing procedures and customer service. read more

This doesn't seem as large as the Super Target in Fishers, but they have a nice selection of frozen food/staples. No produce. The parking lot is so weird, though! It is difficult to see whether you are driving or a pedestrian. Look both ways! read more
