This place is a hot mess they were introducing the new rewards program which is cool but clearance was a mess. Not only that when going to ring up you can only go to the registers at 1Pm I wanted self checkout. Lastly while i was heading over to in store pickup two employees were standing talking and laughing while people waited in line also by in store pickup was about 10 carts full of merchandise and no one taking care of it looked messy. I find it unprofessional to tell customers not to use the self-checkout for having slightly more than 10 items, especially when there are only two cashiers working after 7 p.m. I shop here frequently, and it seems this has only recently become an issue. Additionally, it was uncomfortable having an employee stand next to me while I was checking out, as it gave the impression that I was being suspected of theft. I understand the principle behind it but there is definitely a way you speak to people and go about things. Plus I'm not the only person that was checking out that had to experience this. If you don't have good customer skills then maybe you need to find another job. read more

I love Target but will avoid this one due to stingy and terrible customer service. The young girls working there were too concerned about who was going on break and which boy to go on break with instead of dealing with the lines. One lady had a pile of clothes she was returning. They gave her a gift card and she was on her way. Why did I bring this up? Because this is what caused my review to be a one star. I had two maternity clothe items that were erre just a tad too tight that was bought for me. Like an idiot I tore the tags off but no big deal, I just want to exchange these. Right away the girl told me to move to the next register and attempt to find a gift receipt or something. I had to watch other people get their returns and exchanges honored. I simply told the girl what happened and she told me to give her a minute. She went to the back with the other girl and after a minute said "yeah we aren't going to take these back without a tag. We aren't too sure if these are stolen" I told them that shouldn't accuse me of stealing. The proof on my target app would back me up that I'm always shopping at target. I asked her how come the other lady was able to do a no receipt return and the girl just looked at me and said she was going to break. Whatever I will take my stuff and shop. Missouri City location never has given me issues. I found what I was looking for and saw it was cheaper elsewhere so why not price match? I get to the self check out and was told only guest services can do it so here I am going back now for a price match. The other useless girl at the service desk was trying to tell me i got the wrong model and she wouldn't price match. I showed her multiple times and even scanned the item on Amazon to show her that it was indeed cheaper on there. "I'm still not price matching this. How would you like to pay" Now I normally don't snap but I told her to just keep the damn item if she wants to be stingy and as I walked away she said "so you don't want to purchase it" Go to the location off 59th. I visited this store on 3/8 at 3:30pm. Store is nice but I came for 2 things: to pick up my registry bag and get popcorn (this is the ONLY store within an hour from me that sells it). Girl at the registry counter couldn't be bothered to look up from her phone to help me, I had to say hello twice and she didn't even bother to check if there was any bags, didn't look up, just said they didn't have any registry bags. The popcorn machine was empty, no out of order sign or anything. Good thing I didn't drive far for these things! Oh wait, I did. The quality was overall horrible in this store. Target, please add the cafe back so I don't have to come to this god awful store and cross my fingers hoping that someone did their job correctly. read more

Bad customer service. On feb 21st around 12:45pm I ran in with my son needing to be as fast as possible cuz it was his birthday and we had a appointment somewhere to keep for his birthday. Came in to buy a booster seat cuz my husband took the other one. I know sometimes they can be wrapped up tight with zip ties so when I went to self check out I immediately after buying asked the young black girl that was working there if she had any scissor so I could open it there. She said "oh I don't have scissors. Guest services dose. And I don't have to do that" I was shocked to be shooed away in such a manner. If I was her I would have said "oh sorry ma'am I don't, but unfortunately I can not leave this area but if you head to guest services I'm sure they will be happy to help you I know they have scissors" Crazy people have no manners these days. So I head to guest services and I'm say out of breath oh do you have scissors? Could you please open this up for me I have the receipt. Lady working there looks at me and say "you want me to open it??" I said I just need scissors I can open it myself. She hands me scissors. I open it and give her my trash and leave. It seemed like that was a crazy ask for her to help a costumer wow. Job orientation needs customer service handling training or something. read more

ordered and paid for the target edition of onyx storm early this morning. we had a big sinter storm today, so i waited until roads thawed before heading over to target. also they opened later than normal i suspect because i called a number of times and never got an answer. after i got there i was told they no longer had any stock of the book i had already ordered earlier and paid for. and that ordering online does not guarantee stock will remain in the store before i come and pick it up. whats the point of ordering and paying early if this is the policy of target. this is the dumbest, most deceitful, practice ive come across in a very long time. the fact that this is targets official policy, and that they actively condone and participate in taking your money and then selling the item you bought to someone else before you arrive, is theft. i get that its only a book, but im absolutely furious and this is criminal. never shop at this store, at a minimum, never ever try to order something limited online. they will steal your money and tell you "we can swap your order to something else". pathetic. i dont know if this is relegated to my store online or the entire target chain, but this is a disgusting abuse either way. p.s. in case there was any question, there WAS still stock of the book when i made my purchase, because online it tracks the number of copies left and tells you how many are left before you make your purchase. read more

As far as this Target store goes, it's one of the nicest I've ever seen. Newly remodeled, with all of the modern accoutrements and a fresh coat of paint on everything. The clientele leave a bit to be desired due to the location on 1960... Which is a healthy mix of nice and not-so-nice, and is under construction and will be under construction for the foreseeable future... But that's not the fault of the store management or Target corporation as a whole. They do a good job of keeping things put together in the high traffic areas and the grocery section. I actually really like the "super Target" model because it feels like the sweet spot between a superstore with just about everything and a grocery store with the vast majority of your sustenance needs. read more

Moved to this area a couple of years ago and this location is very organized and clean.

The customer service is absolutely terrible. God forbid you actually need the manager to do their job. The team loves to stand around and do nothing while all the isles and clothing are in chaos. They try to blame it that they are over shopped. Comparatively to stores that are on 45 that are as busy as this location or more so they managed to keep their stores, immaculate, and the managers and staff are fantastic in terms of their communication. The Atascocita location has no excuses. They are slower store with staff with idle hands staff that is actually getting their job done. Was overall the worst experience of my life, trying to get my items and get proper communication from the staff. Stay far away from the store unless you just want to ruin your day. read more

Seriously the BIGGEST pain in the a** to get a hold of. NOBODY answers the phone or if they do they hang up the phone and when you go through the automated system to reach drive up/order pick up, it's dead silent and doesn't ring to anybody. Worst target ever when it comes to customer service and this will be the last time that I do drive up at this location, as stated by someone else HUMBLE is right off 59 and I'd rather drive those extra miles to get good customer service and people who answer their phones. This location also ALWAYS has their drive up blocked off so I have to get all my kids out that are under 5 years old and go inside which was the reason I did drive up. First visit since remodel and it's not that great. Aisles are nice and wide but the layout makes no logical sense. It feels very empty as though Target is trying to sell empty space. Went today and something is going on here. A lot of empty shelves. No price scanners working. And a lot of sale signs that are misleading because if you read the fine print they've already expired a while ago. More like a Walmart, and not a very good one at that. To add salt on the wound (or pretzel), there were no pretzels either. Starbucks was in a little stand. Looks like maybe they're moving things around but c'mon guys. You're still keeping it open so have some standards so folks don't drive all the way over and waste their time there. I'm already a self confessed Target addict, but this Target is the bees knees! For starters, it's a Super Target so they will have everything from toilet paper to Grey Poupon and it's all so easy to find because the store is always immaculate. The shopping carts at this particular store are different from any other Target I've been to (and believe me, there are quite a few). They are futuristic looking and are made completely out of plastic, with a more rounded edge then your traditional shopping cart.. They are also super lightweight which makes for easy handling when you've got your Starbucks in hand from the kiosk near the entrance. Outside of the fancy carts, all of the aisles are always nice and clean and the store never seems to be too crowded, which makes a claustrophobic shopper like me very happy. I love the fact that I can come here on a Saturday afternoon and it not be so crowded I leave my basket mid-aisle and jet, like I've done at other stores (i.e. Target @ Sawyer Park). Now, I know most of you will never venture this far outside the Loop, but if you ever end up lost in the northern part of the metro Houston area, take a stop in here. You'd be surprised to find such modern shopping bliss in the suburbs! read more

Besides the awesome food, the people who work there are great people. Everyone is nice and polite even though they have had a long day. First time at this Target, but I will definitely be back. Restroom was clean, employees pretty friendly. However, I was mainly in the vision center for this visit. I had a new contact Rx and wanted to see how much my brand of contacts would costs. The last time I went to Target to get a price check, the employee saved me lots of money by informing me that most health insurances have a vision discount program. For example, your favorite eye doctor may be cheaper and require just a copay! Also, there may be a materials discount with certain providers as was the case for me using Target with Aetna insurance. Last time, I received 10% off my purchase of lenses using the health insurance. In addition, Target gives a 5% discount for buying a year's supply of contacts. Lucky for me, these discounts can be combined TOGETHER for some big savings! Instead of paying $34 per box, I ended up paying around $22 per box with a savings of $75. #score! The only downside is that they only carry 2 boxes of each Rx in the store, but they explained this as a way to keep the merchandise as fresh as possible--a plus in my book because I've experienced buying old contacts before--it's a waste of money! They will call you to let you know when the contacts arrive to have them picked up in person or they will ship them out to your address--whichever you prefer. This was my first time visiting this location. There was proper lighting while driving into the parking lot and it seemed clean. When me and my friend walked in we were immediately verbally welcomed by one of their employees. All the clothes and items were properly placed and organized. I'm going to be honest and say I do prefer Walmart as my primary shopping store for groceries and under clothes, however I will start going to Target due to my good experience. read more

SUPER Target, btw, not just a regular Target. This is a really huge one, and they've got everything! Plus the peeps are really nice. Probably because it's not young kiddos working here just temporarily, but on average I'd say it's older, Older adults who plan on staying as their careers (my own assumption of future plans based on age assessment, not necessarily a true fact). Don't quote me on that. The Target in Humble gets super crowded sometimes, but this one is remote enough that you can get in and out a lot quicker. I can't quite get used to the layout though, so I ended spending the time I save just wandering around. They have cool, space age buggies though, so that's kind of fun. Another good perk since it's a bit slower, everything moves a bit slower here, so if the Humble Target is out of something, chances are it will be in stock here. read more
