Take pictures of things and model numbers/names and buy it online. Be sure to look for the cost on whatever website you choose to shop from... I'm sure it'll be right there front and center. Some guy won't need to run off and find a calculator, then scribble some mess out for you to try and decipher. (Yes. That's actually what happens in a store made by and for adults.) I have to recommend you shop at almost any other store. If they exist, find one without commission based sales people. Especially one where they aren't so obviously desperate. Or just do the right thing and buy online. Be your own sales person. Even if you want to shop from Colders, buy it from their website and save yourself the price is this or that fiasco. IT WAS. After helping the deliverymen struggle for an hour to get the mattress and spring up the stairs, we found out it wouldn't fit my bed, and I wasn't about to have them haul it back down. I had to have custom footboards made for my bed NOW THAT ISN'T THE MAIN ISSUE A year and half later, the mattress has turned to jello, with no support. When I purchased the mattress, I was told I had to purchase their mattress protector in order to receive the warranty. They sent a technician out to look at the mattress, and there is a small blood stain the size of a quarter on the mattress, which according to them, voids any responsibility they might have. I would have to contact the mattress protector company. They don't have a phone number for the company; only an email. I ve looked on the company's website, none there either. I emailed the company; no response. I ve contacted Steinhafels 2x and asked to speak to a manager; none have gotten back to me. Am I out of line to think that if I am to required to buy a mattress protector through them (at a hefty markup, I m sure), that they should have contacts at the company, or work with me? First of all, their furniture selection is amazing! M&R has every style you could ever want. I can't imagine anyone walking in and not being as impressed as we were. We could tell just by looking at the furniture that it was all very high quality. And then when we sat down on it, there was no doubt in our minds that this store is committed to selling some of the finest, well-made furniture you can get your hands on. We worked with Michael, who was very attentive to our wants and needs. We have a unique living room configuration that is a little difficult to work with, but Michael came up with a great suggestion that gave us more seating than we had or thought we could ever have. We are so grateful that he had that vision and that we followed his advice. We honestly feel silly for not arranging our LR that way all these years. The furniture we selected was very different from what we had had in the past. I was a little nervous of how it would all come together. When it arrived, all my fears were allayed. The pieces are beautiful! Everything looks and feels amazing! There is an accent chair that Michael nudged us a little to consider and recommended a certain leather. He said it would really pop . . . . he was right! It is a stunning chair! Although people who are seeing our furniture for the first time compliment all of the pieces we got, everyone is just wowed by that chair. We are so glad we listened to Michael. He has a great eye. It is our favorite piece! And we would be remiss if we didn't mention the impeccable customer service that M&R offers. I found that they had been here for over 60 days, so the price was now 25% discounted. Yay for me! As I checked out, I was told that pillows were on consignment from a woman who got them for a new couch but found they didn't do what she had hoped for. So she sold them unused. I believe it, as they were in perfect condition with no smell to them. The pricing here is appropriate, and unlike other consignment shops, the items do not smell old and used. The variety is good, but you have to keep checking in to make sure you don't miss a good item. Things come and go quickly. The rooms are not stuffed full which is nice.

This is a serious topic -- hunger and poverty. I recently fell on hard times and had to rely on…read morethis food pantry for groceries and I am swallowing my pride to write about this experience in hopes it helps someone else out there. Don't be afraid to ask for help when you need it. There are still kind people in the world who will help and not judge you. Family Sharing Food Pantry is a wonderful non-profit organization that helps people, like me, when they need it. I was able to call and ask for the help I needed. When I arrived I felt welcomed by friendly volunteers who chatted with me and my service dog. They were kind and pleasant. I was nervous and very ashamed. Nobody made me feel like a charity case or like I was less human. It was just like going to a grocery store. I walked through with a volunteer and got to make lots of choices about the foods available on the day I arrived. I was given so much food that I sat in my car and cried for 20 minutes before I could drive away. I sang songs of praise and gratitude at home because I didn't have to worry about food for an entire month. The Panty sets out to give each client 2 weeks worth of groceries. However, I received so much that it lasted me an entire month. Every meal I made was something that I thoroughly enjoyed. I even received toiletries and dog food for my service dog. I know there are people out there who need help and shy away from asking for it. I know there are people who are ashamed of going to food pantries. I would not brag that I needed help but I would brag that there were kind, considerate, compassionate people at Family Sharing who helped me without making me feel any less human. I am happy to share this review with those who find it. I hope you will share it with someone who needs it. I used to be a teacher. I used to be a soldier. I used to be a social worker. I worked for the City of Milwaukee. I've worked for the City of Chicago. I've volunteered for the Red Cross and I've helped many people all over the world. I've driven food boxes all over the State when I could. I never thought I'd need help myself. I've seen the effects of hunger on children and the elderly. Don't stand by and let someone you know struggle with hunger. Please take them to the kind of people I found at Family Sharing. If they won't go, find a distribution site that gives out boxes and pick up a box to take to them. You could save someone's life and you might not ever know you did so! My boyfriend woke me up at 6am, unable to sleep. He told me we were going to a flea market that…read morewould be open already. I grumbled. I wanted sleep. We could get up and drive to the burbs for some flea market after I'd had my full 8 (read: 12) hours of sleep. After loading myself up with coffee, we were on our way. He was right. Go as early as you can. We rolled in around 7ish with all of the other sleep deprived, unshowered flea market goers. I was in absolute awe of how big it was. It would take a few hours just to glance at each booth. There are two indoor components too. They have food for cheap. I shamelessly ate a brat at 8am, which fueled the rest of my deal hunting morning. It's also worth noting that they were selling beer... and people were buying it. Pretty sure it was only High Life and Miller Lite, but still. There were plenty of fairground appropriate food options to choose from. With the two hours we were there, I don't think we saw half of the booths (granted we did take time to sift through all of the 90s Packers jerseys). No pets. Bring a cart or something to haul your treasures around. Get there early. No need to dress to impress. Bring cash, duh.

The amount of dealers that set up there compared to a few years ago doesn't really make it worth…read morethe drive. Not sure what they're charging dealers to set up (that could have something to do with it). I have attended twice this year. Last weekend the weather was perfect. Not worth driving about an hour to see the same 70 or so dealers that you can see at most of the other flea markets. I would guess that maybe 20 percent or less of the dealer spaces were filled. Don't see any reason to go back to this flea market, It's a shame, this used to be one of my favorites.
