I've literally witnessed how many people buy out inventory but I catch 2 restocks in my entire life and they literally make new rules. It's hard not feel some type of way. Also, the excel employee almost definitely is selling the information to scalpers. Fully convinced the staff do as they please. Candace or however you spell it from asset protection will talk just to make herself feel powerful and waste your time. Im 100% certain they are back dooring now... I was so excited when Target opened on the North Shore. But I refuse to shop this location ever again and will now drive 20 minutes out of my way to a different Target (or while I'm at it, just shop Costco instead). Customer service at Glendale is non-existent. Yeah, it's that bad. Take a tip from the other Targets in the Milwaukee metro area, and realize that customer service means SERVING THE CUSTOMER. And if you don't like doing that, get another job somewhere else doing something else. read more

Buckle in y'all, this is my first review for 2025 and I'm coming in hot...this review was inspired by a morning visit on a recent Saturday morning. It was not unlike any other visits- meaning I arrived hoping for a relaxing day but left frustrated at well, everything. Let's start with the parking lot. Who decided that was a good idea? The parking spots are tiny- I mean tiiiny! One visit a poor girl came up to me in tears because she thought she had hit my car. Sure, they have the parking garage too but the entrance that's closest to the parking garage closes after a certain time. Moving on to the layout. The home and kids stuff is upstairs- why?!? I love the home section but I don't love it enough to go all the way upstairs. Also, have you ever shopped with kids? They see an escalator and all they want to do is go up and down it, which means I rarely get to go upstairs unless I'm by myself- and again even when I'm by myself, who really wants to go upstairs? The only good thing about the home section being upstairs is that after a holiday the clearance section is still full because guess what? No one else wants to go upstairs either. I guess you can call that a positive aspect of this review. Let's move on to inventory- is it just me or does it seem like the shelves are always empty? Sure, they always seem to be restocking but then why are the shelves always empty?? Also, when you try to do curbside, stuff is always unavailable...why?? Don't even get me started on Starbucks- if you like long lines THIS is the spot for you. Do yourself a favor and walk away, all the way to the Starbucks in Whitefish Bay and by the time you come back I bet you the line you were thinking about standing in will not have moved. I am not exaggerating. Now you're done shopping- you've tried to get what you need and have to pay for your things. They have 3 different places to check out- but guess what? Usually, only 1 checkout area is open,- it's at the main entrance, Fine, there might not be enough people to staff all the checkouts but I absolutely abhor the set up of the main checkout area. It looks like they have so many lanes BUT hardly any are actually open. There is also NO room for all of the people checking out. Did they forget that people will have carts and have to stand in line?? They tried to cram so much in the area that they forgot about the people that actually have to stand in line. In conclusion, if I have the time I would rather drive 15 minutes to a different Target. So why not give them 1 star- why in the world am I giving it 2 stars? Because I don't want them to close- I'd rather soldier through a visit than have to drive to a different Target because as terrible as this one is to go in to, I can still do curbside. read more

Service and staff are RUDE! This review is not about a one visit one time experience, it's the consistency and over the course of a few years. There is NO accountability and they all do what they want, with an attitude and a chip on the shoulder. Management isn't much better and it's apparent sales have tanked, it's blaring obvious when you only see a few customers in the store and or occasionally someone else coming in or going at the cashier stands. I only go in out of convenience on rare occasions these days, but do drive across town for better service, just to avoid this Target and CVS. Selection is limited. Value isn't there when tagging isn't accurate, wrong place and most items are wrong by the time you make it to the cashier overall it wastes time, I'm willing to pay for service, convenience's and less of a selection. You all just need a major upheaval in staff, they aren't there to do their job anyway, but they gather together, chatting being rude together and perceive a customers interrupting them with nobody in the departments. This location is perfect for so many, without any big box stores even remotely close, we all fought for a long time for you to be here, save the sinking ship before it's too late! I'd rather spend 25 minutes getting to the next closest location. In regards to CVS that was a one time experience, great if you never expect to get a return call or your Rxs in less than a few days. Again it's a waste of time, I'm better off going across town and taking the extra hour to do it. Then rude to defend themselves by saying we have been short handed, oh my goodness, who hasn't been. Customers don't ask that much. Be kind, have a little bit of common courtesy and don't be rude... and shouldn't be a rare occasion that your posted prices are true. I've never made complaints on retailers, but this location I have and is the icing on the cake. I'd rather buy less and Shop Local at independently privately owned stores or go across town. read more

This store sucks. Target was one of my favorite store. But will be void caughting this store indefinitely . Would rather take my business elsewhere. The employees are very disrespectful and rude. The dairy area always has expired items of more than 3 months and they still sell them. I encounter and employee and told them they had a bunch of expired items in the dairy area and he didn't seem to give a rats ass. The prices are to high I prefer Walmart overall. I sincerely hope this store closes indefinitely . I won't give it any star because they don't deserves my stars. I guess I had to give it the 1 star even though they deserve 0 stars. read more

Ya'll it was my dream come true when they opened a Target in the north shore. Honestly they most convenient location and it filled a void in the area that was just really needed. However, quickly decided that it's not my favorite location. The parking lot is a messy maze, something I genuinely never notice about a place unless it's like this. It's all enclosed, apart from the one spot that loops around awkwardly to get out. It could definitely use more exit points. The store itself seems a small footprint than any other Target I've visited, but perhaps it's because it's two stories? The inventory on-site also seems lesser than other stores, in all departments. Often empty shelves or just overall smaller sections. Accept for the grocery area to be fair, that's of good size! All in all, it fills the void and has a majority of what you head to a Target to look for. Maybe it's just the layout that has me a little off-put. All good things to say about staff here each time I've come! read more

I wish I could give this Target ZERO stars as giving them one star is one star too many. I will no longer patronize Target after I was verbally abused and disrespected by multiple male employees at this Glendale, Wisconsin Target I patronized while visiting Wisconsin. I reached out to Target to inform the corporate office of what I experienced on July 4, 2024 and I believe the response was completed by artificial intelligence. The response was so light hearted and ended with "we'll see you at your next Target run" that I was left in just utter disbelief. Just such an unexpected careless response to an astonishing situation that I was subjected to. My traumatic experience was dismissed and not taken seriously as it should have been by Target representatives and the corporate executives alike. I was briefly in touch with Michaelina Blake, the Service Engagement Executive team leader at the Glendale North Shore Target store, when she reached out to me--yet she never followed up or replied when I inquired about video footage that should evidence their employee being threatening and belligerent towards me--a longtime Target customer. When a Target employee threatens a customer and says they would "go back to prison to handle them" that is a threat not to be taken lightly, like at all. Then, to make matters worse the team lead, Tony, who falsely introduced himself as a manager with his right brown tooth and meth infused facial blemishes adds his two cents in defense of this disrespectful felon of an employee and then further allows him back on the customer service floor WHILE I'M STILL CHECKING OUT as if this moody, disgruntled employee just didn't threaten me and absolutely disrespect my service dog and I was absolutely mind blowing and unfortunately led me to just feel defeated in a situation where someone should've stepped up to make all the wrong--right. It was a very traumatizing experience and I was horrified that it went as far as it did and that not a single Target representative was empathetic to a customer who was trying to make a purchase and leave the store. Well, actually the Target cashier did say she liked the way I didn't let those male employee goons continue to disrespect me and try their best to intimidate me. I did not bite my tongue after being verbally provoked initially by 1 male Target employee and finally by the additional 2 male Target employees. Nonetheless, I left feeling very disrespected, bullied, traumatized and utterly defeated. This happened over a month ago and to this very day I think about what could've happened differently to avoid such a traumatic experience and honestly nothing on my part as I was in a good mood anticipating celebrating the 4th of July holiday with family and friends. I wanted to wait a while before visiting this new Target location as I had heard many negative things. I thought to myself, this cannot be half as bad as what people are saying. For reference, I visited the Target in Grafton on Friday. Here are my honest opinions: Parking Lot: As bad as Trader Joe's, if not worse. There was no redesign of the old Boston Store parking lot at all. It is far to small for a big "box" store. Yes, there is a parking structure adjacent to the parking lot but it is definitely not easy to access from the southern end, it's oddly positioned to the entrance of the store, and I wouldn't feel comfortable walking from the structure to my car after dark because it isn't well lit, it is too enclosed, and it is rather far in relationship to the store entrance. The Store: 1. I always felt that the the Bayshore Boston Store, specifically, had oddly low ceilings for a department store. Target took those low ceilings, put up some dangly florescent lights, and call it a day. I'm not claustrophobic but it was noticeably uncomfortable to me. And the floors - they did not even change the flooring. It was just weird. 2. They have a CVS pharmacy but it was closed. So I could not purchase the OTC but still behind the pharmacy counter medication that I needed. It was clearly operational as I heard a few "Pharmacy Call" notifications from people calling. 3. Inventory - seriously, what is up?!! I gave it ample time to become a fully functional store. Yet, a decent 1/3 of the shoe department was completely empty, the OTC medication and Health & Wellness aisles look like they had been ransacked, and the overall presentation was in need of help... A "C" grade at best. The Service: I only interacted with 1 employee when she had to check my id to purchase Theraflu. I guess you have to be 18 yrs old + to purchase it (??). She seemed happy and was joking with me. I had no need, or desire to look upstairs. I went here with an open mind. It is conveniently located and, when compared to the Walmart on East Capitol, overall okay (hence, the 2 stars). However, I would much rather stop at the Grafton location than Bayshore when on my way home from work. I went in with 0 expectations and was, overall, sadly disappointed. If this Target location was an onomatopoeia, I would say it is currently "bleh" at best. Come on, Target, you can do better!! read more

Date of last visit: 3/22/22 Having a Target in the North Shore has been a desire of mine for nearly 15 years, but this store is really souring me on Target altogether. It's been open six months but seems poorly run. I thought for sure that as soon as it opened, you'd never catch me in another store, but I still find myself at Meijer more often, even though it's not as conveniently located. I do appreciate the variety of items at the store, knowing that I have another place to grab a gift at the mall besides Kohl's is good. Yet in the several times that I have visited, team members pay zero attention to the customers (I know we are referred to as "guests" but if this is how these folks treat their guests, I'm glad we're not friends or related!), which my experience today summed up perfectly: I checked out upstairs after perusing the first-floor grocery and liquor areas before making my way to the seasonal area on the second floor and not finding what I needed up there. The Self-Checkout area was wide open, with just the team member, Nia, visible, on her phone. I went through scanning my purchases and entering my Target Circle number. The last item I scanned was a bottle of wine, which I knew would trigger a visit from an employee to approve the purchase. I looked up and Nia was still on her phone. I waited a few seconds for her to notice that I needed help, but she did not have eyes for me. I called out, "Hello!" and she came over, logged into the register, scanned my driver's license, and walked away, the entire interaction not worth a single word. I didn't get any acknowledgement as I exited past her, either. Really, if I wanted this kind of experience, I would just keep going to Pick N Save, the food prices are cheaper. read more

Who doesn't love Target? When we moved to this area, I was SO excited that there was a Target nearby, until we came to shop here. First off - parking. Who designed this parking lot? Trying to get in/out, never mind cross the street (with little kids) is like playing Frogger. There needs to be another entry/exit from the lot. Next - where's the stuff? We've been here a few months now, and this store is picked over, like always. Empty, empty shelves,. How is this a thing? I'm not a logistics person, but if the shelves are always empty, can't you get more stuff? There are people filling the shelves whenever I've been there, yet they are always empty at the same time. It's crazy! The grocery area does seem to be better stocked, minus the snack foods - but BEWARE - check expiration dates on perishables.- I got expired lunch meat (by almost a month - slimy smelly turkey was not the surprise we were looking for on Monday am making kids lunches) and expired yogurt (by about the same time line). Cart elevator - super fun. Kids like it, along with the magic stairs (escalator). Decent selection of home and seasonal items. The footprint of each department feels smaller than a "regular" Target I'm used to. Online ordering has been good, and staff have been friendly and helpful.Overall the store has been clean and tidy when we've visited. read more

Worst target experience. Staff was friendly but pointed me in the wrong direction to exit to the garage at night. The told me to go back to the second floor to exit to the garage; once upstairs they told me I had to back downstairs and exit through the east side rather than west. I had to walk around the parking lot/building to get back to my car. Poor signage in garage, hallways and entrances. While in the store, the grocery cart escalator was making a high pitch beep sound for the time I was in the store and you can hear it across the store (rather annoying) Also, Items are spaced out somewhat oddly; after zigzagging around the store I decided I'll tackle my list another day. read more

Shoelaces. Went to this Target for generic white shoelaces. The website said "Aisle F5." Could not find Aisle F5. Asked numerous employees (mostly only found at the front of the store near the entrance). None knew anything about Aisle F5. Of the five employees I got to ask where the shoelaces were, I got five different answers, none of which was correct. Finally, one employee showed me a pathetically small display on an endcap saying that was all they had. There were six or seven different shoelaces- none white. By far, this is the worst Target I have ever been to. The store looks unfinished. The inventory is in the worst disarray of any Target I have ever seen. It looks like the aftermath of a Zombie Apocalypse liquidation sale. Once again, I am forced to buy from Amazon. Thanks Target. read more

I hate this Target. The employees are so rude and do not give a care about anyone but themselves (a growing trend within our society sadly). They don't know where anything is, the store itself is grimy and the construction is half done. Someone really said, "Meh! Good enough!" and called it a day. Well, it's clearly "good enough" for the people it draws. I really don't want to be a jerk, but I'd rather go to the Walmart on Capitol- you generally run into less weirdos there, which is really saying something about this Target. If you're familiar with People of Walmart, that site DOES NOT HOLD A CANDLE to this place. I almost went back in to grab some bleach so I could forever unsee what I'd witnessed. Unfortunately, I didn't have the time. So instead, I live with the images of Walmart-level "shoppers," back fat and beer bellies spilleth over. A true freak show galore. This Target is an epic fail for so many reasons! (And I love Target)! Apparently, the second level entrance is pointless because costumers are no longer able to take their cart load of stuff out to their cars. I was told this decision was made because the staff is unable to collect the carts. Really? I saw several employees that were doing nothing who looked capable of retrieving carts. Where is the costumer service? We have been overlooking the stores lack of design because of convenience but that has been taken away...Thanks Target! read more
