Worst target. Everything is always out of stock even though it says available in store online, shelves are always empty and never restocked. If you want the item, you have to do a pickup in store option online and it will be magically available but if you try to go to shelf, nothing will be there. So it's like they force you to do pickup if you want anything or they have bad management that doesn't care to stock shelves. In addition, all the cashiers are so slow that you are always waiting in line for 20+ mins even at the self-checkout. There's only like 4 self checkout machines whereas other targets have more than double this amount. I've tried to go all different days of the week and hour and it's always the same. There can be 3 cashiers and a self-checkout and you will still be waiting for over 20 mins to checkout. You will never be able to do anything here quickly and get in and out. Even down to the pharmacy service is slow. There's always only two people at the pharmacy. One that's working in the back and one in the front. You're better off going to a real CVS if you can because these guys don't even know their own aisles of what they have there as if anything behind their counter is Target and not CVS so they don't know anything. They directed me to the wrong aisle and the pickup line was slow and all the over the counter medicine on the shelves have to be pulled out in such a way that you have to smash the box to get them off the shelf. I've never wanted to comment on a big chain store before, but this is the absolute worst and I really wish they'd do something about it here. The ONLY good thing is the pickup/return area. I don't mean to compliment that area on being quick or anything. I only want to compliment ONE woman in particular there that is always cheery no matter how many people she is dealing with a day and has to walk all the way to the back of the store herself to get your pickup because there's no one else to help her. This area is always a one person job. Someone needs to give her a raise because of how positive she always is whenever I see her and how great she is to each and every customer. read more

We went to this Target and we were super impress at the Manager on Duty, name Mark De John. We had an issue in regards to a return/ exchange and he assisted us. Mark was extremely patient with us. Big Target, and though the parking (angled) was designed to cram more in, the people casually strolling through the lot ignoring that they're holding up people from parking/leaving the parking is more annoying than anything else. Inside, standard Target with the registers ahead and most of the store to the back and right side. The displays up front at the time were related to Harry Potter - some cute stuff, but really difficult to find sizes sometimes. Rolled to the back and found some sandals and supplies for the beach at a discount and headed out - check out was ok, could be faster. read more

Chess and his pickup team are wholly incompetent. They gave our order to the wrong car. They insisted they did not. They then spent several minutes trying to retrieve it, which didn't work because they gave it to the wrong car. Chess the manager says he put it in the trunk. Trunk is opened and what do you know. The order is not there because they gave it to another car. Chess is dumbfounded because there was another car that looked like ours. No kidding. More than one white SUV? You don't say. That's why he is supposed to check the confirmation code and the sign number. 30 minutes after arrival and all this goes down until they finally admit they gave it to the wrong order and start assembling the order. Just decided to leave because these people can't be trusted to deliver a bag to the car in front of the correct sign so how could they take on a task as complicated as locating several items? I only used this store for drive-up because the store is such a headache and the parking lot is always so crowded but I'll just use Redondo Beach Target forever. read more

This is by far the worst customer service experience I have ever received from a Target. Like okay I get it, you're not Nordstrom. I should know, I only worked there for 6 years. So I guess you can say I know something about providing excellent customer service. But here, I literally got the bare minimum. I came in to purchase Call of Duty Cold War on the PS4. While I was up at the register, I asked if they also had Assassin's Creed Valhalla and the Spider Man game of the year. Just because Target is currently having a Buy 2 get 1 free deal on select video games. I was first given a look as if I was stupid, followed with a "the new spider man game isn't part of the deal." I responded that I know and that's not the one I want. Then I asked if I could do a price match with their local competitor Walmart. I just want to make this known, that I read their whole entire "price match guarantee" policy prior to coming in, so I wasn't making stuff up in my head. When you work in retail, you would also want to know about policies prior to asking anything. So I wanted a price match on Call of Duty Cold War & Assassin creed Valhalla, which is both $49.94 each at Walmart. I was told I am only allowed one item for price match. No where in their policy does it say that, trust me. When I agreed to the one price match, I was then told I would have to choose between getting the price match on the game or getting their promotional deal. Also want to match fact that it doesn't state that in their policy either. So I said just price match me on the Call of Duty Cold War and I'll just get only that game, since I had already purchased the other two games at another target to do this deal. Then the employee tells me that he cannot price match me as it doesn't show up the price in his scanner for the different price. I literally show him on the Walmart app that the price showed a different price and even if you googled the game, it would show the price. He was adamant that it was impossible to give me the price adjustment. So let me give you some insight about their policy. Their price match guarantee says that if we see a different price for an item in a local ad or advertisement or even online on another website, we just need to show proof of this. That is what I provided and the employee refused to give it to me. He said I can talk to customer service so we walk to the front and the next employee doesn't even make eye contact with me and tells me I need to go wait at the back of the line for help. Like do these people forget that customers are human? After fifteen minutes of waiting, I was still told they weren't going to give it to me. Which obviously made no sense after a whole ordeal of almost 40 minutes. What happened to just taking care of the customer? Because I definitely did not get that at this location. And I just want to point out that this location and employees were incredibly rude and unhelpful. Because I went back to my regular target store to just check the availability of the game. The employee helped me find all three games. I asked if he would be able to price match the games for me, I showed me each game on the Walmart app, and he adjusted the price for me without complication. Then I also asked if I would be able to do the two price adjustments together or separately cos this Gardena location one told me they couldn't do both. But this employee at my regular target simply just said, "let's do it all on one transaction to make it easy for you" followed with their promotional deal. So everything I originally asked and was told no at this Gardena location, I was told yes and was taken care of at the Signal Hill location. Also Signal hill has was lower tax percentage, so I saved even more. So what would've been almost $140 on three games, I only paid $109 for at the signal hill location. I definitely will not be returning back to this location regardless if it's the only target that has the item in stock. Save yourself the trouble and literally go anywhere else read more

Absolutely pathetic Target. Went to pick up an item that I placed online and was ready for pickup. I usually never shop at this Target. Manhattan Beach or Redondo for me. It was out of stock there so picked this in stock location. In stock is a joke. Went there and the customer service person rather talk to fellow CSRs about the upcoming Niners Lions game than coming to the front to help me. When they finally amble their way to the front they say they can't find my item and need to send someone to look for it in the aisles. Takes 5 minutes to find someone. This person then disappears and after 10 minutes of waiting I'm super annoyed. Asked agents and they don't give a flying F. They tell me I need to wait as "the store is big". Lazy incompetent fools. Store is actually one of the smaller ones I've been to. Finally after 5 more minutes they tell me I can leave if I want as they don't know where the guy is who went to look for my item. Stay away from this store if you want to retain some sanity. read more

It's nice but my complaint is the parking lot was quite packed and we had to circle around and eventually parked near Raising Canes's and walk across. They also have spots designated for people picking up items they ordered online. Inside the store is the typical Target with its home decor, electronics, clothing, and so forth. It is very reasonable and fairly clean. There's also a restroom if you need to use it. They also have fitting rooms if you want to try on clothing. They have self check out and there was a line but it wasn't that bad. I bought a dress and used a gift card without any problems. If I needed to pick something up, I would return to this store. read more

This Target store is on the corner of Van Ness Avenue & Redondo Beach Blvd. There is always plenty of parking space so you should be able to find a parking spot without any difficulties at any given time. I am so glad that they have recently renovated this store. Some of their product showings are now much more effectively displayed. And at the same time, their interior including the restroom are cleaner than prior to the renovation. Wait times at the check-out lines are usually reasonable albeit it may depend on your visiting hours, but they also have four self check-out machines and sometimes this option may be much faster to complete your purchase transaction. Finally, as with most of their other stores, this one also consists of Starbucks inside so that you can enjoy a cup of coffee either before/after your happy shopping. Their customer service has also improved as many of the employees are now much more friendly and polite than before the renovation. As such, only other improvement which they can try to make may be with their parking. There are some trashes visible on certain time of the day & certain parking area near the store is sometimes closed-off. Since I started to shop from many of their stores in the late 80's, I am so thrilled that I am still able to shop at Target in 2018! So done with this Target location. The Drive Up orders take 4 HOURS minimum and we your order is finally ready, its wrong. Last time I ordered Donut Shop Coffee K-cups and they gave me a completely different brand. Almost every one of my orders has at least one item get canceled. The Hawthorne location is excellent with Drive Up. Their orders are ready in under 2 hours and they don't make you wait another 20 mins when you get there. read more

YELP 100 CHALLENGE 2018 - PART 2: 96/100 Bought a car seat from another Target location only to learn it's not the right side. This was far closer from my location at the time, so I decided to do a return/exchange here. No problems with returns. I found what I needed (I had three options, in fact) but was told NONE of them were available at their store. That was kinda irritating. They shouldn't be displaying things they do not have. But the lady who helped me was kind enough to locate one of them at another Target location and that they would have it held until I get there (same day, of course.) So, yeah... Costumer service are awful. I have took my dog to this store for almost 2 years and has barked all of the people on that store but nobody has said anything within the past 1 year in a half. Yesterday I went to go buy something my dog was of course barking like always and this old lady told me that I was disturbing the people and that I have to leave. This target is the absolute worst!!!!! I come here out of convenience because it is the closest location to my house, but I dread coming here. The management is visible all the time however they help in no way shape or form when it's busy. The cashiers are either super nice and friendly or they are rude and won't even speak to you as you check out. It's bad enough that the parking lot has been taken over by the new canes location and the ridiculous area for drive up, but now they never have more than one or two cashiers open and the lines are all the way down to the cosmetics area. Renovation here definitely makes the store looks nice and bright. It is more modern and placement of items definitely highlight the modern and advertisement goals that they are trying to reach. There is a Starbucks inside this Target, like most Target. I seldom to visit this Target​ because I also like the Redondo Beach Location. The check out lines are never long and there is no wait even with the self-check​ out. Perhaps I go in the morning hours and not the busy hour? The cosmetics aisle​ was clean and neatly placed. I purchased the Pond's cream here, and the prices are not bad. It is cheaper than CVS and has​ a wide variety of products to choose from. I did purchase some items here before such as a gift card and browse through some areas of the store. Advice: Some bigger household items and even cosmetics they can be found at Bed Bath and Beyond. I prefer to buy it there because I can use my 20% off​ coupons and it would be cheaper than Target. I have to agree with the other reviews here that the parking lot still needs​ some work. There are​​ debris and trash in certain areas​ and they blocked off some sections when I went to paint new lines. Which is a start?​ read more

The two guys in the tech department wearing the blue shirts that say " tech " on them have no customer service skills whatsoever. Whoever hired them should seriously reconsider ! On my visit to the store I asked for Help from them they said someone would be right there although they were both just standing behind the register not helping anyone. So I don't see why I had to wait. And on top of waiting while they're there doing nothing , my mom went back and asked if anyone was coming politely and one of the guys yelled at my mother saying " hold on someone's coming " I don't appreciate nobody yelling at my mom. I found a decent parking spot and was happy I didn't have to walk far in the hot heat. Yaay!! I was disappointed to see so many shelves half stocked. Our checker was awesome, her name was Jasmine, thank you for your courteous service, My problem is with the store's policies, seriously the guest services cannot print a duplicate receipt??? explanation from the guest services was they would have to look on the security cameras to find out my total. The receipt had a blank spot all the way down the middle as you'll see from the photo she told me it would take 30 minutes for the security to go over the video to get the total. The store was FILTHY! I get that it is the end of the day but there should be a certain level of standard upheld to ensure in all aspects the side is on TARGET! So I asked the employee watching the self check out station and he tells me that they are under-staffed. Realistically, poorly managed and not short of employees because there are several employees standing around watching customers shop.
