I went to Target this morning to pick up an order placed on line. This store is not taking any of the Coronavirus precautions seriously. Store employees are mostly not wearing masks. Employee watching the front door and letting people in was making fun of the store capacity and was just letting everyone in. This place is a mess, and I would stay away. read more

CVS Pharmacy in Target Amazing staff Tim was so helpful. I love in homestead and was evacuated because of hurricane Irma here I am at Gainesville with an allergic reaction swollen eyes and all!! Freaking out and tim helped me talk to my nurse and get a prescription. Now I'm just sitting here waiting for him to finish up so I can head to my family. Thanks Tim! Thanks staff. read more

Poor service in electronics department. I am not sure if it's corporate policy, or just poor management at this store, but I wanted to buy wireless Beats by Dre Solo and nicely and simply asked an associate to open the case so I could see what colors they had, and they told me they couldn't. They said I had to buy (before I could see them) before they could open the case and show it to me. POOR customer service. I told them I would just go to Best BUY and they didn't seem to care. read more

Target is always reliable... this location recently added the super-market section which is a bit weird... I like target clothes and their deals on other household items, but I'm not sure how I feel about buying food from them! If you need something and aren't sure where to buy it, try target first. :) read more

Great store. Target is target. It does not have a market but they are adding a Starbucks. Always check the endcaps for clearance specials.

I was shopping in this store when I asked for assistance I found this young lady her name was Angela she seem to busy to help me she was very rude I later found out from a cashier that she was a manger. She has no people skills who ever made her a manager made a big mistake.There are plenty of other store to shop at so thankfully I will not have to shop there again. read more

My son and I came in here to grab some batteries and have a snack. Pretty cluttered electronics and men's section made the shopping suck and the food bar was dirty and unkempt. The bathrooms were clean however. read more

This is the only Target in Gainesville, and hence the only place to get Target sales or items. This one is in Butler Plaza, which is the easiest large shopping center to get to from campus. As you might imagine, it's crazy to get parking then get in or out at certain times, like beginnings of the semesters or on football game days (but during the game is actually easy). Not a Super Target, but good size and has what you'd expect. read more

We have been coming here since we moved here 8 years ago and only ever had once issue. The staff is always very helpful and they actually take the time to walk you to the item you are looking for and not just point and say that way. Deals are usually pretty good especially when it comes to new release DVDS. All in all not a bad place. read more

First, my review. As an employee there it's an alright place to work, very laid back about tattoos and piercings, generally friendly management, most employees are helpful and willing to go an extra mile for "fast, fun, and friendly" service. Definitely one of the better places to work as a student. As a frequent shopper, I cannot express in words how much I love the stuff there. They have better prices on things like eggs and tofu and random foodstuffs than Publix and their clothing lasts. Bad experiences are few and far between. A response to Amanda G. about Frank: He played that trick on every cute girl he could find, bang 'em, and leave leave 'em... He checked out at my lane, gave me his number, and took me to Sweet Dreams. Turns out he has a girlfriend and has been cheating on her with random girls forever. I am totally addicted to Target. They have pretty much everything and they have a lot of fun stuff too (I just wish they would make it a Super Target and then I would be totally happy!). The store s always clean. They are open until 10 p.m. on most nights except Sunday when they are open until 9 p.m. Basically I have nothing bad to say about them and their staff is always super friendly. I hardly go to Wal-mart anymore. read more

Target forever lost my business when they tried to scan my ID for buying a can of air. They used some BS excuse of "it's the law" to which (1) there is no law requiring it and (2) it's pure crap. They want to scan your ID so they can track you and learn. Like Skynet. Anyway... my business is elsewhere and they don't care. Why would they? read more

This Target is on Archer Road in GAINESVILLE the biggest road in GAINESVILLE and is in a plaza with an old navy and an Ale House right in front of it.This Target is great but the only problem is the bathroom it was dirty blah.But the staff is friendly. read more

I'm from Pennsylvania. In Pa, the Walmarts are bad, and the Target stores are good. In Gainesville however, it's the other way around. It seemed kinda run down, the shelves were empty, and unorderly. (of course it was a week before classes started) I'll give it one more chance, and change my rating if need be. read more

I went to Target looking for a specific size of a Champion C9 product. The saleslady checked the store's inventory and said they didn't have it in stock. She then wrote down the product code for me so I could easily find it on target.com. I'm not used ot having such amazing customer service in a big box store! read more

Target.com guest services did not know what they were doing. Target store in Gainesville, FL was not helpful and had no clue what they were doing. I accidentally ordered the wrong diaper size and went to the store to exchange the diapers. Corina, the Target store customer service rep said they would not be able to exchange the item since it was a Target.com item. They tried to return the two boxes of diapers minus the Target gift card amount since it was purchased during a promotion. I advised Corina that I brought the promotional gift card with me and wanted to return everything since I was not able to exchange the diapers for the correct size. They said they would not be able to return the promotional gift card. I corrected them because the promotional gift card I received came with a specific letter which stated that I needed to return the gift card for the full value return of the items or I could keep the gift card and receive a discounted value for the return value. I advised Corina that I was following exactly what the letter said and they were not fulfilling the instructions of the Target.com letter. She said they had no idea and no possible way to return the gift card. Corina said the letter stated that I needed to "go to http://www/target.com/returns and follow the link to the online return center to print a store receipt for this gift card, as well as the item." I advised her the link is only a FAQ link and has nothing to full out nor print out. I came to the store prepared with my order forms, my promotional gift card, the letter accompanying the Target promotional gift card, and all the items. Amy, another Target store customer service rep called the Target 800 number and requested assistance from the associate side. What a waste of time! Taylor, the Target 800 number associate rep told the store staff that he forced closed gift card so that they Target store staff could adjust the price to the full return value, but now I had to wait another two weeks for the new gift card to be mailed to me since I made the original purchase on a Target gift card which I received for my birthday. I told them, this is worse than what the store staff had propositioned. I was so aggravated at this point since I was there with my infant son who was fussing since I was there over an hour! I told them I will not wait another two weeks for a new gift card, which I had already had in my possession to be replaced! I told Amy, the store staff to advise Taylor, the Target 800 number associate rep to email me the gift card. He emailed me the gift card, and then Amy, the store staff transferred the balance to a Target gift card which I received for my birthday which I had in my possession. Neither the Target store staff, nor Target 800 number associate rep could fulfill my request. I then proceeded to call the Target customer service number to file a formal complaint of my horrific experience. I advised the first rep that I only wanted to speak with a supervisor, but he insisted he could help. I told him about my experience and he said "sorry, I will take a note and send it to the team as feedback." I advised him that was not sufficient and that I wanted to speak with a supervisor to file a formal complaint...again, another Target employee wasting my time! He then transferred me to a supervisor, Sandra and I had to explain my situation again! She said sorry and said she has filed a formal complaint on the store, Corina and Amy, on the Target 800 associate rep, Taylor, on the Target promotional letter instructions which sent me to a link and said "Returns are fast and easy!", the Target customer rep who said he would help but only offered to submit my comments as "feedback" when I told him I wanted to file a formal complaint! She gave me a case number and then asked how she could remedy the situation. I advised her since this fiasco was a mistake on ordering the wrong size diapers, could she assist with fulfilling my correct order and still issue the promotional gift card which was offered during the original order. She said she was not part of the Target.com office but that she would transfer the call to a supervisor in the Target.com office to see if they could assist. I was transferred and the new rep was not advised of my situation and thus I had to go over and explain the whole fiasco AGAIN! Sandra did not tell the other staff whom she was transferring me to about my request, nor my complaint. I kept asking the current Target.com rep if she was in the supervisor level and she said yes, but she did not have any idea what she was doing and was not helpful. She did not appear to be a supervisor. She kept telling me to repeat myself; she wasn't following me when I was explaining my complaint and situation and request, almost as if she was doing something else. read more
