I have been shopping here for over a decade and this was by far the WORST and MOST DISGUSTING behavior I've ever experienced in my 28 years of life! I was checking out at the self checkout around 9PM on a Tuesday evening. There weren't many customers around as it was a weekday. As I was checking out, there was a sales person by the self checkout section. I was paying by coins today as the machine gave me an option to pay by card or cash/coins. I usually pay with cash or card but since I wanted to get rid of some coins laying around the house to declutter my space, I brought some coins out to use. Then the lady, went up to me and asked me, "you're paying with coins?" I responded, "Yes, I am." She then said, "You can't put coins all at once or else the machine will jam." I respected her reasoning, I took notice, and I accommodated and slowly put in the coins little by little. She then had the audacity to tell me to "show her" my coins. WTF. Why do I have to show her the money that I was using to pay the machine to her. I am paying at a self check out. I directly asked her, "Why?" In no way shape or form was I going to let her step all over me and my rights to my own money. She made me felt so unbelievably uncomfortable. There was a camera in front of me and from the camera, I saw her in the background literally eyeing me down the whole time as I was paying. The funny thing was she an Asian middle-aged woman, probably in her late 40s or early 50s, had long black hair, and spoke perfect English. She targeted me, an asian woman, in her late 20s, and in no shape or form looked or done any illegal activity. I was well dressed, wearing a north face jacket, and a gym fit, long white socks, and a new balance sneakers with a duffel bag, since I wanted to do a mini target run after my gym workout. I have innocent features & appearance. I look way younger than my age, my hair was cleanly tied back. I had an open body language. I was only purchasing three things: frozen chicken nuggets and a bottle of ketchup and chitpotle sauce. I definitely don't feel comfortable coming back here anymore. Target, do better with your hires. You lost a loyal customer. I'm going to the one in College Point from now on. read more

I have to say this place is pretty deep if you're not close to the train that takes you there. I unfortunately had to come here because a hot item was sold out. This target was the only location that had it in stock. I was very shocked to see how huge this place was, everything was in stock at this location. The guest pickup was completely empty so I got what I needed. I decided to walk around. I didn't like that they had clearance randomly stocked on certain shelves. I felt that they should just have one isle of clearance, they didn't. The toy isles were very big. I wish my target near me had a toy section. I found it funny that this location still sold CDs. Lol what is this the late 1990s? The store was super clean. The service was on point as it always is in a target. Reviewing another Target inspired me to share my thoughts on this one as well (how funny). I'm generally a big fan of Target - seriously, if Target were a person, I'd probably be sending them love letters. I love how affordable everything is here, and it's definitely my go-to place to stock up on essentials like bacon and eggs (because who doesn't need a constant supply of bacon?). This Target is pretty great. It's big, like "I need a map to navigate" big (I have gotten lost here), and well-stocked, making it easy to find whatever I need. I've never had any negative experiences here, which is saying something in a world where minor inconveniences are plentiful. I don't really buy clothes at Target, so I have no idea what the dressing room situation is like. I've heard people have some not-so-great things to say about it, but I'll leave that mystery unsolved. read more

When waiting in the aisle for assistance on getting a locked item, they take too long, even when you use the sensor for help, another 10 minutes passes by and still no help. Target's getting a BIG virtual high-five for me for existing in this area, because I'm not sure I would have eaten much the several days I was in Flushing without them. Genuinely delicious and creamy coconut-based vegan Oui yogurt (which I haven't seen at my local Target), Love Crunch granola (the dark chocolate and red berries one is my fave!), some Vive organic immunity booster shots, and a gallon of water all for like $15. I was also feeling pretty under the weather, so grabbed some Airborne tablets and Dayquil; I didn't realize I was going to get carded for that, so going through self-checkout took much longer - the lady running it didn't seem particularly friendly. It wasn't the cleanest Target I've ever been in, and it felt a little claustrophobic with the narrow aisles and abundance of u-boats overflowing with stuff, but... there are vegan grocery items! read more

Staff at this location are all super kind and helpful but the amount of items locked behind cases is nuts and extends your shopping trip by however long while you wait for someone to come over and unlock a case (if anyone shows up at all!). The problem is not the staff, the problem is the sheer amount of these things set up around the store, they are unmanageable. This is only made worse by some cases no longer having a button at all! It was pretty quiet when I visited. Not many people working the registers but it seemed that a worker just so happened to be everywhere my kid and I were. Really unconformable to feel like you're being followed and watched closely. The Christmas areas they set up were bleak and depressing. Cosmetics aisle was scarce and it felt like ghost town. They don't even have a definite time. I see employees walking around the store. It's not rocket science to put an employee at the dressing room. I left all the clothing at the store and left. Holy moly, some of the GE light bulbs were on sale for $1.99 #score Thanks to the sales associate who assisted us in matching the right light bulbs...definitely third time's a charm because he was knowledgeable about the products! Woohoo, I totally struck gold finding Microban 24 Multi-Purpose Cleaner. Of course, Target still has a limit when you are purchasing any disinfectant products...only 1 per person! My mom loves to cook so she has been trying to find good knives. I Google J.A. Henckels International and it seems like a pretty good brand so my mom got a knife set. If you're looking for a terrible shopping experience, this is the place for you. First off, there are numerous cash registers located at both ends of the store, but only 3-4 cashiers man the registers on any given day. Given the lack of cashiers, customers have to resort to using self-checkout. People with shopping carts full of items are often seen ringing up their own items, which makes it harder for those who are purchasing only a handful of items to get in and out quickly. Also, no one supervises the huge checkout lines (on which everyone stands regardless of checkout method), so people cut to the front and pretend they don't see the dozens of people lined up. Some people even head straight for cashiers and self-checkout machines and no one stops them. I don't know how a big box store like Target can hire so few employees to facilitate the checkout process; it's not like they can't afford it. Second, the selection at this store is severely limited compared to nearby Targets. I understand it's smaller in size, so I'm not expecting the same breadth of items. But this store is poorly stocked, especially in the women's clothing section. Every time I pass by that section, I see so much empty spaces on the shelves and racks. Not to mention the same clothing items month after month. The only good thing about this store is that pricing is the same or comparative to nearby Targets. If you're in the shopping center and want to grab something, then you shouldn't have a noticeable price discrepancy. read more

Visiting from out of town and needed a few travel size items and cereal and non dairy milk for my son and this was just down from our hotel. It was similarity updated like some back home and I love target so this was no different, I do wish I could have found some NY things here that I couldn't find at home but I didn't see anything. Pretty big Target located on the third floor of sky view mall. I mostly come for my American groceries (produce, frozen aisle, pantry) but I find that the pricing of the items can be hit or miss. Often, 9 out of 10 times I end up paying more for 3-4 produce items (yogurt, milk, fruits) and for what? I try to buy when they have a weekly sale but I've noticed that some of their items have gone up $1. But you are better off taking the 7 train to Trader Joes, cheaper. To avoid long lines, shop on a weekday preferably mornings or afternoon before all the kids get out of school lol. They are well staffed, bathrooms are clean, glad they made a spot for extra baskets in the produce section. Sometimes all the baskets are gone at the front when you walk in and you're left holding onto your items. Today I went shopping at the hand soap aisle and a guy in a wheel chair asked for help getting dish soap but the brand he wanted was out of his reach. It was all the way at the top of the shelf. Perhaps be mindful of customers with physical disabilities, put some items out that are reachable? or assign some staff around these aisles? or install a "help" button for staff to assist? read more

This Target is in Flushing and can get pretty busy. It's located at the massive Mall on the west side of Downtown Flushing, and it seems pretty new. It's a little bit out of the way from Roosevelt & Main, as I said, located on the west side of downtown Flushing. It has your typical Target stuff and is basically a Walmart but smaller and significantly more expensive. It's still good for the people of Flushing to have this here, though. This is a good Target to go to if you know what you need and are willing to be patient. This isn't one of those Targets that you can just cruise and enjoy your shopping at and allow Target to tell you what ya need. This place is always busier than the other Target locations i've been to. There's also basically no phone service here. The one perk about this place is that the parking lot and the buses and trains are all very close by. The lines here are always long and the aisles have so many people shopping or just window shopping that it's hard to navigate with a cart. (who shops at Target without a cart, c'mon!) There is a wide selection of Asian food products here, which is much better than the Targets in Long Island that I go to more often. Had to claim some reward because I bought a few shampoos here once and the customer service line took 20 minutes. Don't come here if you're in a rush. read more

There is almost never an employee nearby when you need something. The shelves are normally stocked and organized. Items are sometimes cheaper on the app than in store. So i was looking for rain x blades for my acura MDX 2011. For starters they are difficult to find and dint mention the price per blade which goes anywhere $17.99 per blade. I been buying the brand X blades for my car but I noticed they do not last. Usually michelin blades or Costco blades loose shape quick, rubber does not adhere to the windshield and i end up getting a partially clean windshield during heavy rain. Of course they cost half of the price of the Rain X blades. I just finished taking the old Michelin blades off and I had to brake the blade as the components to lock them into place. While the blades are expensive, they work wonders and the glass stays streak free even under heavy rain. Getting the rain x products at target was a breeze, specially now with the quick check out process. read more

I brought some "Born Basic" Hand sanitizer alone with some other house hold sanitizing products from this store back in May. I started use one of them in July and it give me a terrible rashes. Read the news and it was one of the brand been recalled by FDA due to containing methanol. A chemical harmful to human body. I checked with Target's customer service online and confirmed I could return it to the store without a receipt since this is a recall product. However, that is not the case when I try to return it in the target Flushing store. The lady at the customer service desk refused to accept the returns because it was purchased in May and the item was not recall until July. (Does this make sense?) She refuse to proceed the returns even though I told her I was informed by the online customer service the recall items could be returned without a receipt. I call the target store customer relation Dept. They told me the same, target will accept returns for recall items without a receipt and over 90 days. They are not sure why the Flushing store is refusing to accept the returns. They issued a ticket for me #82475369. And one of the higher team member spoke to the store manager Terri. And Finally, after 40 mins , they finally issue a store credit for the hand sanitizer. So much trouble for so little things. I would not shop at this target store any more . read more

DO NOT waste your time trying to return your (online) orders here, save your time/gas/anger/risk of covid infection, and ship it back instead. During my recent attempt on Aug 18th morning, after I carefully explained the situation, the lady at customer service "inspected" (actually judged) my return by asking horribly judgmental questions like "How come the box is all good when it arrived damaged". Are we customers supposed to take a return exam like this? How unprofessional and unacceptable was that to question a customer about a damaged-upon-arrival item? Not only that female staffer declined my return by giving me the runaround, but didn't even mention I might be eligible to ship it back. How unhelpful and untrained was she being in customer service team who's supposed to meet customers' needs, not making customers feel like "the problems are all yours"! If that return had been accepted in store, I would've probably spent the refund right on the spot for some essentials, and it would've been a delightful win-win. But I left, contacted online service afterwards and got double-credited with no need to ship it back. Now who wins? read more

Employees here are super rude. They seriously have no respect for customers. Always blocking the way when you're trying to walk through the aisles and think you're stealing all the time. Instead, how about just asking if someone needs help or asking if they need a cart, basket or any form of help? A while ago (pre-covid), I had hauled a few online items to return in the store and was told I'm not able to return it because it was an "online item" but that is not what the invoice said. It clearly stated that I can return in-store or online and the customer service desk employee starts to raise her voice and told me to leave with my item because she will not return it. It's insane how unaligned this location is with the return policy. I've had another incident about 2 years ago where I purchased a holiday item (nail polish set) but no where in the return policy claim I am not allowed to return it. The set was still sealed with a tape seal and was unopen but they refused my return even though I stated their return policy that it is allowed. If you could avoid this location, you should. I unfortunately love going to Target but I will always try to avoid any form of employee as much as I could and use self checked also to save myself from getting upset with them. read more

The selection is great and the store is fairly nice and clean but I'm giving them a one star because they need to hire more people as cashiers to accommodate the huge customer base they have. Even on a weekday at 4pm the lines waiting to check out are insanely long, average wait time is 20-30 minutes. And don't even try to go there on the weekends or you'll be waiting there forever. I don't understand why they haven't solved this problem sooner. They have well over 17 cashiers but only 2 are open. Today this elder lady threw her Target food on the floor because she was so frustrated with the wait and then the worker just looks at her with an attitude. These places are suppose to have quick service. They're lucky they have no competitors in Flushing right now or else I wouldn't even come shop here. This is by far the worst Target in New York. 3.5 out of 5 Stars - This Target is OK, relatively good, but I prefer going to the Target located in 20th Ave, which is not that far away driving-wise, because that Target is much bigger. The Skyview parking lot is horribly designed whereas the parking lot in 20th Ave is much easier to park. The lines at this Target can get rather long because a lot of local residents shop here. This means that the check-out wait takes much longer as well. SO I suggest coming in the weeknights since Target opens late anyway. Some of the staff don't really know where certain items are. I asked them to help me locate a humidifier and this employee directed me the baby isle when it was right in the home improvement isle. Ehh, what? Then I asked another employee to help locate an item and received a "not sure" answer. Um, ok! Speaking of inexperienced workers. However, one highlight of this Target is that I can easily walk over from home whenever I want to get minor items. So the convenience is a plus. read more

Worst customer service ever in target. When I was here returning bottles, customer service told me they don't do it and go to BJ's when I BOUGHT the item here and they charged deposits! Service representative keeps telling me that the return machine is broken and they can't do it. I went to the check out and asked to return, and was immediately honored. Thanks Target for having a public restroom. One of the things I notice when I was playing tourist in Gotham city is there are no public restrooms! I mean with all these people and all these tourists...where do they use the loo? Luckily we were in Flushing and headed to find something to eat so we were able to come in out of the cold and use the loo. Didn't get to shop but but maybe next time! This Target is situated in Skyview mall. I still remember when the mall just opened and they charged for parking (now its free parking if you're only parked for 3 hours or less). Nobody really went to that mall, and the experience of shopping here was amazing!! It's still pretty amazing but it has gotten significantly busier. This Target is really organized and everything remains the same more or less. Except when they try to promote some items either because of the holidays or because they probably want to get rid of inventory. I've been to many Targets with the wife and this is the Target we keep coming back to because its organized and the team members are always willing to help. Downside is that there's no cell phone reception throughout half the store, but hey, its not their fault. Its the material that was used to build the mall. Its great that they provide fast and free internet. Just got back from Target! Another great experience! read more

My first time to this location. I moved recently and this one is one of the closer ones so I decided to check the place out and see if I would make it a regular stop. Its right on the Blvd so traffic can be hectic when you get close. The parking lot entrance is around back thought there is a small drop off traffic circle right in front. Keep in mind, like most Targets, there are other business sharing the same building. Parking is paid and I think it was $3 for 3 hours and then the longer you stay the more it costs. There are signs in the lot telling which way to head for which ever store you are visiting. Target is all the way on the top floor. I made the mistake of parking on a lower level my first time. There are elevators but they were pretty busy and it took a while. The store itself is large and laid out well. The aisles have decent space so you are not playing bumper cars with other shoppers. Stock wise they had pretty much what every Target has, clothes, electronics, household stuff, home stuff, and a food section as well. The only thing I couldn't find was a section for car stuff. They usually have a small selection of car maintenance items. Either I couldn't find it or they didn't have one. I didn't notice too much staff around to help but that usually doesn't bother me. Target is one of the reasons I like to shop at this Skyview Mall. Target in Flushing is a very large department store that will carry a wide variety of clothing for both men, women and kiddos as well. Stylish yet inexpensive Footwear for wife and self. You can find all sorts of Tech equipment here from TVs to cameras, laptops, xcetera. School supplies, outdoor furniture and yes even food. The Arts and Crafts department is great, I can always find poster board, 3M heat laminators or other specialty items I use in my advertising. Housewares, paper toweling, cleaning supplies and a large selection of makeup and cosmetics, shampoos as well. My wife loves to shop in the shoe department and swimsuit section here, she just found a cute leopard bikini made by OP, she says the pattern is really hard to find. Wife announces that there is a very large selection of cute spring and summer sandals available now, before they all get sold out. The customer service department is both courteous and accommodating. I had to make an exchange on an item without a receipt. The Exchange was done quickly with no problem and all smiles. Excellent! Love it. Hats off to the excellent security folks here, the same guy's been there several years. He always gives me a smile and a greeting. Don't forget to stop at the coffee shop on the top floor on your way out. Again, to keep my shopping experience Pleasant. I never shop here on weekends Enjoy your shopping !
