So yeah, this is a great place if you don't care when your furniture shows up. Huge issues with this place. Went here with a relative who wanted to buy a new sectional sofa. A style was chosen. A deposit was given. The sofa is not in stock, so a 2 month delivery date was given. What?! What are they doing? Trying to grow the wood? Ok, so the 2 months go by and the sofa is still not ready! Apparently they need another 2 months. What? They need 4 months total?! I'm wondering when the 4 months are up, will they come up with another excuse why the sofa isn't ready. Good thing the old sofa wasn't thrown out yet, otherwise we'd all be sitting on the floor. Left a bad taste in my mouth when they kept stating how they gave a big discount on the sofa. Well the discount isn't worth it, if there is still no sofa to be had. DeRUCCI is a famous brand of high-end bedding & bedroom furniture all over the world. There is over 3600 retail stores in USA, Germany, Italy, Australia, Dubai, Korea, Malaysia, Japan, Hong Kong, India, Singapore and China. On the bright side: Their ergonomic sleep bedding system looks pretty amazing online where they explain the process in full detail. It took 4 years to develop and is the most advanced bedding system of its kind! This is probably something I might want to check into. It's too bad they have product and delivery issues. I was excited for my new couch but the sales reps made this experience such a nightmare. We purchased the couch and they "suggested" us to TIP the delivery guys an extra $120-$150 on top of the delivery fee ($99) that we had paid for, which we did not acknowledge that as it was a suggestion. Upon delivery, they forgot the couch legs and said they will deliver it the next day and assemble it. We said ok then we will tip you tomorrow and they said no, they needed it today, which doesnt make sense bc they didn't assemble anything, all they did was drop off the couch and unwrapped it. OK fine, we paid them $90 for 3 people, which is more than enough. Mind you, this is a TIP on top of the delivery fee AND a FULLY PAID COUCH! When we did not tip the amount suggested, the delivery guys called the sales rep to call us to complain why we didn't tip more. because I am receiving not up to par service... WHY AM I BRING HARRASSED ABOUT TIPPING WHEN I PAID IN FULL FOR THIS COUCH, GAVE THEM $90 TIP, WHICH WAS VERY GENEROUS. I HAVE ASKED AROUND BEFOREHAND AND THE STANDARD IS $20/PP for LARGE items furniture. The next day, I called the sale rep to make sure they are going to deliver the legs that day. AGAIN, she mentions to tip them. SO I HAVE TO TIP THEM AGAIN FOR WHAT????? At that point I am just annoyed and over it. The delivery guy showed up the next day, we just told him to leave the legs and we will install it ourselves. The sales rep calls every phone number they could reach us at and says the delivery guys want to come in to install the legs and assemble the couch to complete their service. My mom told her that she will install the legs and no longer need there service and they continued to insist on letting the delivery guys install it. After many "No thank yous" it is finally over. Not going to lie, every time i see this couch, it's an annoying memory that attaches with it. Some may think it is a minor issue, but to be constantly harrassing about tipping a certain amount when the service was not even up standard is ridiculous. read more

-100 do not buy from here i repeat do not. recently my mom got her bedframes and matresses delivered to our new house, as they were setting up the equipments in my moms room they stole around 2k from our bathroom drawers. how do i know? first of all no one has gone into my mom room not even her, second even after the bed was done they took extremely long to get out.. and it wasnt just one person who worked on the bed it was 2 so just imagine both of them getting a thousand dollars. we work for our money just like you, one of the guys pressured my mom to give him more than a 30$ tip, we ended up having to give him 70$ plus that 2k he stole fuck you because the bed was ass not good quality, overpriced. read more

This review is specifically about the Elmhurst location management, but overall, about DeRucci as a company. My parents had bought a table on 6/3/18. We paid a $500 deposit for this table on that day and were promised for it to be delivered in 5-7 weeks. We followed up multiple times after the 7 weeks and your store finally told us that the table is available at the end of August. By then, it has already been THREE months. That is double the amount of time that your store had promised for us to receive our table. Last week, I called the Elmhurst location and spoke to Daniel Bate. He processed the remainder of the balance on my credit card. He said it would be delivered on Saturday, 9/15/18. On Friday 9/14/18, he calls us and tells us that Saturday is no longer a good time for their delivery and so we rescheduled for Monday, 9/17/18. I told him that Monday is fine, I can have someone stay at home until noon, but not past noon. He said of course, he will let the delivery guy know to deliver as early as possible. I called him 3x after that rescheduling to make sure that the delivery will be made before noon. The morning of, he continued to promise this. I told him no one will be home after, so make sure your delivery guy knows. Noon arrives and our table is still no where to be found. I called him and he doesn't even know what to say. All I hear are empty apologies. How this is OK? We already threw away our dining table the night before because we were expecting you to pull through with your promise. Now we are without a dining table and you can't even provide us with an explanation or some sort of compensation????? HOW DO YOU POSSIBLY DO BUSINESS THIS WAY? Daniel puts his manager on the phone and the manager does not sympathize. I did not catch his name but he asked me who promised me that it would be delivered before noon. I told him his staff, Daniel Bate did. He said he should not have done that. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?? That's all you have to say? He then says we'll get our money back and passes the phone over back to his salesperson. This is unacceptable!!!!!!!!! We ordered a dining room table and chairs and they told us it would be delivered in 5-7 weeks. It was OVER 2 MONTHS late. We followed up multiple times and they kept delaying and delaying. FINALLY, on the day they told us they would deliver it, they gave us a time range for when it would be delivered. We threw out our dining room table and took off work to receive the delivery. Hours pass by and they didn't meet the agreed upon delivery time. After following up multiple times they told us that we just weren't getting our table and they CANCEL OUR ORDER. We now have no dining room table, loss wages from taking off work, and we're 4 months in and NO TABLE. How can a business screw up this badly? Can you imagine selecting a table, putting in a down payment and getting the runaround for 4 months just for the table order to be canceled? BIG WASTE OF TIME.
