Last time...Oceanside store, and the salesman from hell continued to talk over me, despite my being clear as to what I wanted. "Today only, sale gone tomorrow", blah blah blah, and NOT answering my questions. I walked out...a woman chased me sort of apologizing. Tried again today in Lake Success. Lone salesman in empty store...he should have been happy to see a customer. He sort of answered my questions and when I asked for his card, he told me he hadn't any and to take photos of any of the mattresses I was interested in. Is this company interested in selling beds anymore? Seems like not. Weird.

I even snapped a few pics of the things I liked, because the setup really was gorgeous. The lines were moving quickly and everything felt super organized... until I needed actual help. I asked a lady with a scanner if she could check the price of a GUESS bag I was planning to purchase. She looked me up and down, rolled her eyes, and told me she "doesn't work in that department"... then continued scanning bags. I said, "Okay, then get me your manager." Suddenly her whole attitude changed: "How can I help you?" At that point I said, "You know what? I'm not spending my money here." Told my sister, "Let's keep it moving." And we left that store. Sam is much more like a sleep enthusiast than a salesman. We have bought many items here and always a good experience. This time we needed a new TV ASAP. Upon entering we were looking for the last salesperson we bought our refrigerator from but he was off that day, so Steve helped us. We looked at several TVs and choose a 43" LG Flat Panel. Before we purchased the TV they took one from store room in a box, opened it to test the all was ok and we found the TV did not turn on, only distorted pixels. This is their new procedure because sometimes the items are taken home, damaged, usually by being dropped and then returned and state it came out of the box like that. It's also good because in my case I would had to return it, another trip back to the store and set it up again. So of course they brought another out, tested ok. Then paid for it with my PC Richard Credit Card, no interest for 12-24 months. We also purchased an extended 2 year warranty. For pricing I asked for their best and I know they did because we receive special pricing with my union for PC Richard and called to verify the union pricing and what I paid was less than the union pricing. We also received lower pricing on the last item we purchased. It's been almost 3 weeks and TV is working fine. I would highly recommend this PC Richard, a neighborhood friendly store. I had a very disappointing experience at the New Hyde Park P.C. Richard & Son. We were forced to stand outside in the heat and direct sunlight even though there was room to organize the line more reasonably inside. When customers tried to ask simple questions, the manager was dismissive instead of communicating professionally. The manager also told everyone there were only 12 Prismatic Premium Collections available. However, employees showed us the inventory on the computer, which listed 16 Prismatic Premium Collections and 6 Unova Poster Collections in stock. Despite that, the line was cut off after the 12th customer, and only 12 Prismatic Premium Collections and 4 Unova Poster Collections were sold to customers. While we were waiting, the manager asked employees if they wanted any of the Pokémon products before they were sold to the customers who had been waiting outside. After customers were told there were only 12 Prismatic boxes available, the remaining case of four boxes was never offered to the line. I don't know where those four boxes ultimately went, but from a customer's perspective, it appeared that an entire sealed case of Prismatic Premium Collections disappeared after employees were offered product first. To make matters worse, employees indicated there was Pokémon stock available, while the manager told customers there was no additional stock. The conflicting information and lack of transparency only added to the frustration. Overall, this was one of the worst customer service experiences I've had. I opted for the Yogibo Max (bestseller-can be used as a chair, recliner, bed and couch) and chose the turquoise color cover. I tried it out and it was surprisingly really comfortable & comforms to your body (reminds me of my Tempur-Pedic mattress). It's $269 +tax. It also comes in smaller sizes and a bigger one (Yogibo Double for $449). The girl who helped me out was so friendly and helpful. After you pay, they build your bean bag chair in the back (put the cover on & into a plastic bag), it will look just like the display models. The Yogibo Max took up my whole backseat (about 4 ft tall & 20 lbs). My son absolutely loves it and had been on it all day. Made inquiry on Yelp for carpet steam cleaning, and this company contacted us almost immediately and were able to schedule a cleaner within a day or two. Cleaner called an hour before arrival, reviewed the site and discussed the price. Initial steam cleaning for the living room/dining room and hallway was one price. Additional shampoo, sanitizing, deodorizing, etc treatment was an additional price. We agreed to have everything done. Cleaner brought up his equipment and finished the project in less than two hours. Happy with results of our clean, almost like new carpet. Two days after drying, we noticed stains we hadn't seen before or during the cleaning process. Called back, sent photos and they said rescheduled within the week for a return. Midweek they called with a definite return trip. Cleaner re-cleaned the area. Very satisfied with the results! Saved us a lot of time!
