I've been coming to this Target in Flushing for some time now and it is inconceivable that I have not been to this one inside Sky View Center. This Target location is very organized of wide aisles inside Sky View Center. Customer service may be nonexistent but staff are not Big Brother to scrutinize patrons like criminals as I was able to freely roam about reviving the joy in shopping. The beauty care department contains a good selection of varies brand names including Almay eye makeup remover. This Target presents a fresh grocery department of produce, fresh fruit, frozen foods to met one's food supply needs. It resonate reasonable prices without the tale-spin decline of one's savings to become bankrupt. In typical Tar-zhay fashion they carry major brand name of Proctor and Gamble but NOT the entire line as Target prefer customers choose the Target brand. Pizza Hut and Starbucks are the only source of food in their so-called Cafe near the exit. A private parking lot is available in Sky View Center. read more

Target on the F level in the Skyview Mall. Has it's own parking on the top floor, have yet to figure out how to get there, but also has elevators down to the rest of the decks and other parts of Skyview. Free parking (a plus!). There are two sets of check-outs, and most of the regular food & household items are generally well-stocked (although I don't normally get fresh produce here, just random canned goods etc.). Staff is noticeably absent in the day. Most of the time I only see the cashiers and the security guard up front. read more

I always enjoyed coming here. I know what I plan to buy and where to get it. Target makes it easy for the consumer to find items. The isles are brightly lit so you can see the products better. I like the convenience of the sections separated by category yet remain connected (men's wear flows into the technology section, cleaning products flows into the kitchen section). I like the how Target is family friendly. When taking a break, shoppers can stop by an indoor Starbucks and rest their tired feet. Located in the Sky View mall, shoppers can go to other stores such as Bed Bath and Beyond, or Old Navy. A great place to chill. read more

Last night, I had the most horrible experience of my life at this Target store. I paid for a shopping bag at checkout, but it was broken(no strap). So I had to transfer my items to another bag. A short-haired lady manning the self-checkout counter approached me with a rude and unreasonable tone.She rudely ripped off my receipt and accused me of stealing Target's shopping bag, even though I had paid for it. She said things to me like "How many shopping bags did you buy? You only bought one, and you didn't bring your shopping bag. Please take it out; it's not yours, it's ours." She is making me feel like a criminal and not a consumer. She publicly humiliated me, accusing me of being a thief for steal a 5 cent shopping bag! Despite my request for apology, she was dismissive and provocatively told me to complain. As a frequent customer, I was shocked by the way Target treated me. By far the worst Target I've been to. Associates had no knowledge of anything on the floor and kept shifting questions to other associates who had about the same knowledge as the first person I asked. Most associates were like robots stocking things as if the were inanimate objects. Seems like they don't want to be bother and just pretending to look busy. What's worst is that during weekends lines can get long and some genius decides to leave the self check out lines closed. Moreover, told an associate to close her kiosk. So instead of having 2 checkout lines there was one. So you can imagine how backed up the check outs lines were. Thanks for providing -1 customer service. They need to better train the store associates. But I can see a downward spiral of this company already. This target is on the 6th floor of the Skyview Center mall. More or less a typical large department store. Plus pharmacy, groceries, a Starbucks and a Pizza Hut. The merchandise could be more organized. Lots of space here, which is nice and definitely a contrast to the rest of the Main St area. read more

Shopping at the Target in the Flushing location was surreal during this Covid health crisis. The end to the mall was closed but I was told that they were open until 10:00PM. I saw a man with a Target bag and I asked how did you get in? He said you need to go to end of the block and go into the public garage and find the elevator to the sixth floor. Navigating that garage with moving cars was interesting. I got to the sixth floor and there is only one entrance to Target. BJ warehouse was open but I wasn't sure about the other stores in the mall. Target was very quiet. There were people shopping and the store was adequately stocked and staffed. An sales associate directed people to the registers. Every sales associate was wearing a mask. It was strange that the store was so quiet with people shopping. How many people were shopping? It was like a mid week afternoon crowd. Nothing negative to say except I wish they put a sign directing people to go to the garage at the front of the mall. read more

I really wanted to like you, Flushing Target. I was so excited to visit, but only to have all my dream shattered and smashed into pieces. So the store is big, well organized and yes, you can get all your toiletries and things here. They even have produce and chinese noodles and lumpia wrappers. So wow. But really? Did the check-out have to blow again? We waited over 15 minutes so that the lady in front of us could check out with WIC stamps. The cashier obviously did not know what was going on and so she had to call the manager. And of course, all the lines get really long. Great, just great. I don't think I'll be coming back. Sigh. You might as well make a day out of this place since it's a part of Flushing's (kinda) brand spankin' new Skymall (SO misleading, this mall isn't ANYWHERE near the SKY, ugh) which has a bunch of retail stores and food stuffs under one roof without the madness, obnoxiousness and (to a fault) the variety of dealing with the Queens Center Mall(s)...I pluralized that because it's technically a mall made up of two completely separate buildings and thus - TWO malls. I've only been here about once or twice (I forget) but both times were positive experiences and I'm sure I'll be back to pick up more stuff that I don't need and need simultaneously. TARFAIL. I'd hate to bash Target because my shopping experiences have generally been smooth but this location makes me lose all hope for Target. Everything on sale here is always (especially the first 2 days of the promotion) wiped out like Black Friday, items are always disheveled and messy and the layout of the store is quite weird--it's like a maze once you pass the clothing section because you can easily get lost to the home section or the food section. There's also less items than you'd find at other Target stores and there is much less inventory. So, if your desired item runs out...chances are, you'd have to wait weeks (or even months) for that item to show up. Inventory does not get restocked quickly. To make it worse, staff here aren't as friendly and hardly show any professionalism. I asked at least 3 staff members if they carried shelf-stable Almond Breeze and all I got was "no." Surprise, surprise...I found them at the bottom of the most random, irrelevant aisle! I prefer going to the Queens Plaza location because it's more spacious and more pleasant to shop at, though transferring subways is quite painful. read more

When this place first opened up, it was an amazing Target.. Everything was clean and organized. The lighting was bright! I really don't know what happened to this place. It's really dirty, it doesn't look like it's well stocked. It's really crazy here sometimes (more than the 20th Avenue location). It might just be me but I feel like this place became very gloomy. I really don't understand why they have so many cash registers but only two employees working them despite the long lines. I've made the wrong choice by waiting for them when I should have went to the self check out. You'll see more than ten or maybe even fifteen customers going through the self check out before you go through with an employee. I'm not going to lie though. If you're commuting with the 7 train or the buses, it's really convenient coming here. It's not a long walk from Main Street but it does get crowded! read more

This location has everything. It's capacious and they have everything and anything you're looking for. The fruits, veggies, and meat are always fresh. They have a lot of beauty products. They have pretty decent amount of clothes to offer as well. I love that they have a book section- hope it never goes away. I also love their arts and craft section. It's no Michael's or what an art store has to offer but they do have some options. They also have the electronics and kitchen products section which is pretty neat. They have pretty good deals on air-fryers right now. Promise you that it's worth the investment lol. It works wonders. I think having a Target in this area is very useful. read more

We were lucky enough to make it here before this Target location has been pillaged by the mass population, like so many of the other Target locations in the area. Even though we were visiting on a Saturday afternoon, the isles were still not crowded an the shelves were totally full of goods. The affordable bounty of groceries almost brought tears to my eyes. Since moving to NYC, I have not seen so much affordable-ness. Then, I sank into depression from realizing that there is no way we could buy everything that we need and carry it all home with us. This Target has more Asian and Spanish grocery items than any other location I have been to. No rare finds, just the basics of these items. The main thing that is a huge price difference from anything in the city is the frozen meals section, much cheaper here by 50-75%. The produce selection is not that vast, there is only about one brand choice for each type of item. I wish that I could find any other brand than Dole bag lettuce. Yes, people love zip cars, but it would take cost us about $50 just to drive it to this location from our house. So that is no an option. They are very well staffed and were even handing out store maps when we arrived. It beats Duane Reade any day! I clip coupons, which actually works to my advantage here because the prices are already much better. read more

The positive about this Target is that it's in Skyview Center which allows you to do other errands such as get some Chinese groceries, get a haircut, get a new cable box etc. There's 3 hours of free parking which is a pretty sweet deal. The other thing to note is that there's only one floor for this Target, so it does not have the variety as most other Targets, it's not far behind though since it's a pretty big floor. There's 2 entrances/exits, one in the front that gives you access to the rest of the mall and another in the back that gives you access to the parking lot. Which means there's two check out areas. The one in the back is usually a bad idea, since they only have 1 or 2 lanes open most of the time, so estimate a minimum of 30 minutes for check out. The front check out is almost as bad, there's usually about 4-6 lanes open but there are 4 self check out counters, which interestingly enough are all on one side. *Hint Hint* Create 4 more Target... Just note that you cannot buy alcohol at the self check out. Do not expect to be able to get in and out of here quickly. Even if you are just trying to pick up 1 item and go through the self check out, you will need 10-15 minutes. read more

Avoid this place if possible during the current pandemic. This review has nothing to do with the staff - which is great. My review is based completely on how the whole mall operates. The only way to go in is through the parking lot and get in an elevator with 6-8 other people. On top of everything else, the app & website said Lysol was available but it wasn't because all the street vendors had bought it and were peddling it out on Main St for $15 a can. Sadly Target can't be held responsible for this but what's the point if if coming here means you might actually get Covid from the elevator ride and can't get Lysol products. It's a rare occasion when I have access to a car and can make a Target run, and I take full advantage when I do. I spent a LONG time in this Target recently, and though it was predictably crazy in there on a weekend day near the holidays, the experience wasn't as bad as I was expecting it to be overall! First of all, there's a very large garage for parking and though it does get jammed, I was able to find a spot right away. Though the Target was packed I was still easily able to find a cart and besides the holiday section which was insane, the aisles were pretty neatly kept. I really appreciated the employee who was taking the time to line up the ornaments nicely on the shelves (though I felt bad for him because I knew they were going to get destroyed immediately). The checkout lines were long because only about half of the registers were open on a Sunday afternoon, but they did have a pretty quick moving self-checkout area with an employee on hand to help out. Lastly, the bathrooms. Oh, the bathrooms. They're pretty nasty but hey, at least they offer bathrooms I guess! read more

I do enjoy buying at Target. What not to like about great pricing for everything. Almost anything and everything is on sale, but this location is not one of my favorites. The wife and I stopped by Christmas Eve Day, and it was a hurricane setting inside. Everywhere you walked, there was a disarray in departments. Merchandise on the floors. Shelves a complete mess. Just a complete neglect of the store appearance. Now, I know it was Christmas Eve, but we went to the Target on 20th Ave down the road and it was completely spotless and organized. Yay...... This location always seems to be under staffed. Not my favorite location. Overall, this location seems 2nd tier. It does not have the shine of other Targets that I have visited. On 12/9/2021 at approximately 9:30am - 9:45am my wife while on FaceTime with me, shopping for my daughter and other christmas gifts was asked if she was married by the store's general manager. I called to place a complaint about it to later be called by the district manager stating that it was the other way around. My wife supposedly asked him about his marital status. I made her aware that I was in the phone with her via FaceTime and she continued to disagree with what I heard. He walked up to her on three different occasions first to ask if she needed help at electronics, then approached her when on the phone via FaceTime with me showing me items to purchase and my opinion, asking her if she often visited the store and her marital status. The third encounter was to apologize because he didn't see her ring. My wife then approached other associates of the store asking them who this gentlemen is and ask if this is a normal practice at this Target. They do not want to investigate the matter. I go to Target for basic groceries... juice, frozen items.. just things I can't buy online. I don't like their clothes and I kinda think it's overpriced for the quality and style so I've never looked in that area. I'm not even sure I've ever seen women checking out that section the few times I've been to this location. Shopping online at Target is so convenient since it's easier to find products and their customer service is great when there's an issue. Sadly they don't ship every product so I do have to shop in person sometimes. Once a cashier told me I had to scan my products myself for some extra discounts and we were both perplexed. Literally the app says to show my phone to the cashier to scan.. so I told him... No. I don't have to. It's literally his job to take the scanner and take the 2 secs to scan my code. I highly doubt most customers even bother or are aware of Cartwheel but either he was damn lazy or assumed we were both "ignorant" but this happened perhaps a year ago. Whatever.... Other than that, I've never had an issue with Target. read more

This is a newly built Target located at the new Sky View Mall. What I like about this Target is that it's huge, and never crowded like their other locations. It's very clean and easy to move around (unlike the Target in College Point where people keep bumping into you). They also have a huge grocery/produce section. There's also a Starbucks and Pizza Hut when you first enter this Target. What I dislike about this Target is that they charge $3 for parking at the Sky View Mall for the 1st hour. Can I tell you I love Target! Prices are always reasonable and they got me good on the layout. It makes you wander the whole place almost going to every aisle just to check out the display or to see if there's something on sale. This particular location gets crazy busy especially the check out line but I always find what I need and I do my fair share of perusing in peace. So that's why it gets four stars from me. I've rarely asked for help to find something but from what I've seen, they are fully staffed both at the register and on the floor. Can't blame them for being busy. Tip to share: if you find an item with a clearance tag (red Barcode sticker), be sure the one you're buying/ taking to the register has that tag. Per previous experience, and cashier confirmed, if there's no tag, the sale price doesn't ring up. And trust me, once you've spent an hour in there and on that check out line, the last thing you want to do is go get the same item with the sticker. So grab the one you want but be sure you grab one with the sale sticker to get the price. read more

I've been shopping at this Target for certain groceries off and on for about a year now because the prices are pretty good, but this particular Target is ridiculous. It's messy, there are never enough shopping baskets (where do they go?), and as many people have said before me, the wait times are crazy. They'll have maybe one or two registers open, plus the self checkouts, and then a bunch of workers standing nearby and chatting. Or hanging out someplace else, and chatting. I've waited 40+ minutes in line here. I'll still come back sometimes... but I'll never really be thrilled about it. Before there were any Targets built in Manhattan and in Bensonhurst, my fiance and I would always go to the one in Flushing since we spent a lot of our weekends in Queens. This Target is massive and has everything you would pretty much need and there's a Starbucks inside so it's pretty convenient to grab a coffee or tea and shop. Customer service here is pretty slow and low. There never seems to be enough cashiers working at the registers. They have self check-outs, but all the way on the other side of the store where Starbucks is. I I've never been here on the weekdays except for on a Friday afternoon and Saturdays. I would highly recommend to not come here during the holiday season especially when Christmas is inching closer, getting through the toys aisle is hell! The store itself is somewhat organized, but there are some aisles that can get messy. I also like that they sell some Asian products at this Target. Overall, probably one of the better Targets I've been to and haven't had a bad experience here unless it's waiting on line for 5-10 minutes to try and pay something especially when you're waiting for a cashier. Wow... just wow. If you look at my past reviews, the only Target I'm used to going to is the one in Brooklyn. I thought that one was ok, but that was before I went to the Target in Flushing! First of all, it's huge, well-lit, and doesn't look like a place people go to commit suicide (like the one in Brooklyn). Not a single empty shelf, and every section had a great selection - board games, candy, air mattresses, furniture... you name it. My only complaint is that there were two checkout lines on a Friday night and it took forever. I also had to return something, so I went to the customer service line and the cashier was talking to the guy before me about her car (who had already finished paying) and pretty much ignored me for half a minute while I was next in line. read more

Lemme start off by saying this, I injured my knee so when I had come into this target I asked for the sitting cart the one you can drive. As I was in an aisle one security member by the name of kevin had came up to me and started to interrogate me as to why I'm using the machine and what had actually happened that I had to use it. At the end of my time there when I had got off the machine he stands behind me and says that, oh you don't need crutches or anything?. Also had another encounter with another middle aged Indian worker who was rude when I slightly hit the side of an aisle by accident with the machine. To that skinny dorky punk from the video game section. This review is for you. I went to go Target to purchase MLB the show 18. Currently on sale for $20 since the 2019 edition is coming out later this month. I saw this Asian staffer nearby, I asked him kindly for some assistance because the show 18 was on display but locked the display shelf. The staffer said to give him a minute. Which I did, several minutes passed, I walk around seeing him do inventory. Ok, he's busy, I get it. Give him another minute or two, maybe he needs to get the keys. Next thing I see, he was ringing up someone body and helping another fella after me at the video game counter. After he rings up the customer, he goes back to his inventory cart and strolls away one aisle away from the PS4 section. I thought ok, he's on his way to open up the shelf. Nah, the dude went to next aisle pretending to organize. I shouted and asked him when are you gonna help me? No response. The guy go about his own thing, totally ignoring me. I look directly at the loser, he continues to pretend I'm invisible. I walk over to the counter to find someone else to help. The next staffer was just as useless as he was. Dude opened the shelf and told me he can't sell me the brand new sealed MLB the show 18 because it's the last one and it's in the display box. I keep trying to explain to him, the game in the plastic display box is for sale!!! There's an actual game in there you idiot! It's not one of those paper cut out boxes to advertise the game. It's an actual this time you moron!!! Then the dorky loser comes around from the next aisle to do some more inventory right by where I'm standing. Avoiding eye contact with me at all times as if I never even asked him for help in the first place ... Then I keep asking this other staffer why can't you sell me you last game.
