Customer service at this target has gone downhill. Last night was the last straw. I waited in the customer service line for 15+ mins. When it was my turn, the associate barely listened to what I had to say, was already walking away before I was finished to grab my order pick up. I was trying to tell him that I have two so he would avoid having to go back out to retrieve the second one. When he FINALLY came back (I had only two bags in the order) then also had the nerve to say he couldn't ring up one $3.00 bin I wanted to purchase. He said he had a "long line" and told me to go to the check out line after I had already waited patiently in the customer service line. I have never been turned away and told this. I could understand if I had a cart full of things to be rung up but it was one item. Everything about this associate screamed LAZY. From the moment I walked up to the counter, his attitude was poor. I don't need a customer service associate to have a lot of enthusiasm or go sprinting off to get my order- just don't be LAZY. Be professional and do what you are getting paid to do. Customer service has definitely gone downhill. This just solidified as to why curb side pick up is preferred. I don't write reviews but this young man really pissed me off enough to do so. read more

What a fancy Target, they have here. And that makes sense because it's so new! I remember when they first started building this Target AND when it first opened. They have a really unique selection of items in comparison to the Livermore and West Dublin Targets. Plus the staff is all super nice. It's really fun browsing through the clothes, but I must say, Livermore has this Target beat on clearance items, because the ones here are not quite as cute or fashionable. So interesting how these stores can differ from location! I come here with my friends every now and again to look at the accessories and movies, because clearance is different at all Targets and we don't like paying full price (lol). 5 stars for a clean, and welcoming store. :-) read more

My favorite Target in the area by far. This store is always well stocked, clean and the staff is super friendly. I'm not much for returning items due to the hassle but the few times I've had returns at this location everything was seamless. It's also quite refreshing that they keep the self checkout registers up and running with an employee always around to help if needed. Keep up the great work y'all!!! read more

The electronics department clerk who works there on Sundays was very rude to me after I purchased a very expensive item. He demanded I return my shopping cart to the front of the store. I am a customer who pays their salaries by buying their products, and I have to be intimidated and told what to do? That electronics clerk needs to learn to respect the customer. read more

I went to buy some something while returning the Similac Pedisure today. For my baby tried it once but didn't like it. The lady in the customer service told me that she needed to ask her manager because she wasn't sure if the formula can be returned. A few minutes later, she came back and told me it can be returned. And I told her, my baby tried it once. She said she needed to asked her manager again if it can be returned for it was open. I told her that when I brought the Similac first time, I was told that if the baby tried it and didn't like it or felt drew up or any reasons . I can returned it. After a while, the manager came to the front, she still told me that the formula can be returned. Not because of the money, but for the promise. If it can not be returned, please let the customer know. Then I went to the Target in Amado Valley, and asked the lady in the front if I can return the Similac that was open. The lady told me of course. So I returned it in another Target. Why can be returned in another Target but this Target? It's ridiculous. I won't buy anything in this target anymore. read more

Summary - I feel unsafe and unwelcome in this store. 2800 Dublin Blvd, Dublin, CA 94568 This is the closest target to where I live. Have been shopping here since 2015. Always thought highly of this place. But yesterday, after spending more than an hour there, trying to find the best deals available in store, I picked up 14 pieces of a certain item. Shelf price was clearly marked to what I would consider a good deal. Then at the cash-counter, the items did not ring up at the shelf-price, so I tried to explain to the cashier that they were marked as such on the shelf. By then, I saw the security guard moving from the gate towards this checkout isle. Also the store manager came over (not summoned by me) trying to explain that the system price takes precedence over shelf price. So I decided not to buy many other related items from the store - returned two bags of items that were already rung. This much was within the normalcy of a typical unpleasant shopping experience. At that point the cashier clerk asked to check the 3rd bag. This bag did have an item that I did intend to buy for my kids. The tone in this clerks voice was so rough - that it made me very uncomfortable. I almost felt like she was accusing me of sneaking in /stealing an item. As self-respecting individual, I returned all items, and came home empty handed. My kid sobbed at the back of the car, for not coming home with his toy. I wonder now, after having slept over this last night if it was the color of our skins that alerted the security guard to move closer, and the cashier to use such stern voice in the presence of my kids. This review here is not a rant about item pricing, its about the rudeness we experienced at this store. This store probably needs a racial bias training - just like Starbucks had in 2018. read more

This store is clean (especially the bathroom) and the employees are friendly, however the prices are, in some cases, 10% higher than the other Targets in the Tri-Valley. Just for that reason, I will be sticking with my local Livermore store. Also, the walk from the parking lot to the store seems far. Is it me or does this store have a ginormous parking lot?? When this Target was new, it was clean. Now, in the ladies room, the first stall had urine on the floor, the second one had defecation on the toilet paper dispenser and on the ground, the third one was broken, the fourth one I didn't want to look at. The restroom was disgustingly filthy. As for the store, the store floors were clean and the shelves were pretty well organized. The parking outside is ample, and well spaced. read more

I loveeeee this Target, it's clean and everything so organized. I don't care I have to pay more for the location, this Target is one of the best. Staff are great, customers are classier, place is spotless! I go every other day just for daily items and it's so convenient. The ladies at the pharmacy are great, very kind and helpful. The young security guards cracks me up, they follow people around and hide between aisles peeping. At least they are on top of it! Lastly, lines are never more than 5 mins!! read more

Disappointed. I called this store to ask if they had an item in stock. The operator put me on an 8 minute hold. She picked up the phone (because you can hear the phone make noise and some background noise) and then hangs up on me! I call back and the phone was ringing for another 3 minutes for them to answer and they didn't. If the phone service is like that, it makes me not even want to go into the actual store. read more

This new Target just opened up yesterday. It has everything stocked and ready to go. All the shelves are nicely laid out and full. I was thinking making my way through the store that I should do some Xmas shopping here since they have sizes in all I need for my kids. There is a nice grocery section and pharmacy. The only thing I didn't like is that the sale of course is not up yet. I guess people have to start coming in before they bring out the sale items. The girls' section doesn't have a lot of clothes and that is in the front of the store as you walk in. The accessories are very well stocked and pajamas for kids are abundant. Shoes! All the shoes you can't find sizes for at other Targets are all here! Also I did notice that each and every Target employee I passed said hello or greeted me. Friendly and amicable. This has been my favorite Target store since moving to Northern California. I moved to San Ramon and still drive out to this east Dublin one because I like it. Today was the worst experience I have every received at any Target in my life. One of your extremely racists/prejudice workers, Megan, kept yelling at some of us in the self check out line telling us to go to the cashier that just opened. Some of us did not want to go including myself. I like self check out because I don't have to interact with anyone and it's one less person touching the items I'm buying. I also needed to make 3 separate transactions because I needed the recipes to be separate and wanted to make sure I did it correctly. Megan kept yelling so close to my ear to "go to number 3 go to number 3!" I gave up and went and nothing against the guy that rung me up but what the heck is that child's problem?! I have never been forced to go to a line I didn't want to go at any store ever. This interaction felt like a targeted incident against me specifically. Why did we need to be the one to go over? I was the last person in line at the self check out, if anything the people in the front should get helped first since they've been waiting the longest. Worst experience ever. It wasn't even busy for her to be yelling and directing the lines, she was on some power trip! Completely disrespectful and rude. I've never been so insulted and upset at a worker in my life. I've worked years in retail before, she had no business acting like that. Worst customer service ever!! She needs to be reprimanded!! read more

I camped outside for 5 hours at this Target for their Black Friday deals. When I first got there, I thought it was pretty well organized with barricade fencing along the side of the store and shopping carts lined up outside. However, as people started lining up more and more and people filtering in and out, I wish they had security start earlier than they did because it was up to those in line to enforce the crowd. People started cutting in when it was a couple hours from opening. Additionally, they didn't even hand out numbers/tickets for those doorbuster items advertised in the ad -- this just added to the potential for stampedes and injuries! Once the opened the doors, they let in 30 people at a time with only about 20 seconds in between crowds. It was a mad dash to the TVs and it's a miracle no one got hurt! As with most Black Fridays, there was a separate electronics line that took us another hour to get through. We were then escorted to the main line towards the front of the store. Now that I think about it, this probably added another 30-45 minutes to our trip because we had to wait in another line instead of being checked out at the electronics line like everyone else, even though we had gotten to the front of that line just to get our Xbox! Throughout our visit, I did notice the staff had a good handle of the crowds once inside, so I'll give them that. Seven hours later, I had a 46" LCD TV for less than $300! It was worth it! read more

I can't tell you how much I love Target, but specifically hate this one. I spent almost an hour looking for what I needed and a staff member to help me. After finally giving up I just decided to go to customer service for help. The guy told me they only had 3 in stock and if they weren't in the spot they're supposed to be in, that it could be in any one of the fully stocked carts that are sprawled across the entire store. Yo wtf. I just walked out of this target location at about 5:40. As I passed by the electronics section, an employee yelled across the aisle as he walked towards me, "Can I help you find something sir?!!" I replied no, as I knew where I was going. He continued to walk by me and says, "Cool glasses man, I can see myself in them." Commenting on my prescription sunglasses (that are needed to see with...). He then walks to the other employee stationed at the consumer electronics center, and starts talking about me as I walk alway. His buddy said, "I wouldn't think being able to see your reflection is a good thing bro," and the other one replied, "yeah he totally looks like a tool"... all this as I walk away and they thought I couldn't hear them. They kept on going and I couldn't make much more out as I walked away to pick up my basketball I came to get. I now USED to be a loyal target shopper, red card & circle app member, I had bought a bathing suit and wanted to exchange the same one for a different size which should be an even exchange. I showed the lady the receipt and she wouldn't honor the price I paid. I did not want any special treatment or ask for much but just to SWAP the Exact swimsuit I already paid for. The manager named STAR was very rude as she yanked the swim suit out my hand and said " I'm not changing the price , either but this at this price or get out". Who talks to a customer like that ?! I will not be coming back and will be telling everyone I know to never shop here. She was the rudest person and should not be in customer service. read more

This is my go to Target at the moment. I stopped by for some specific items and they were all stocked and ready for purchase! It was easy peasy! I went through self checkout, which was painless. I do have to say that the employees seemed completely disengaged. I came across at least 6 employees that didn't even say a word! No hello, no nothing! As I was leaving I said goodbye to the attendant at self checkout, she looked directly back at me, said nothing in return. Geez people, smile! read more

A well managed Target store, they had Christmas mark downs that were great! Good variety of clothing and great prices too from clothing to pantry items. The check out was quick for the Christmas crowd, extra cashiers on duty -yea! They have early Hours (7:00 am) and open late for the Christmas holidays- so convenient. Ample parking too read more

Huge fans - customer service was a non-issue. I had a return to make for a defective item that I'd already removed the tag I explained my issue to the service person & I received ZERO hassle. She took it back & didn't even confirm there was a defect - just took my word for it........awesomeness! They have a little bit of everything but a small selection of it - found what we were looking for so wasn't a wasted trip & for me, that's always a good thing! This place inventory is ridiculous! Their shelves are empty, prices don't match the items, items are in the wrong place. This place is a disaster. I drove 30 minutes for items online- showed were in stock, and customer service dept. verified before I got there, just for the items to be out of stock. Not one of the items I wanted was there. A waste of time. Then they had 7 30lb dumbbells advertised on the shelf for $25, got to the register they were $40, tried to show someone they didn't listen. A mess. A hot mess. If you think ordering online for pickup at the store could save you time, think again! You might be in for a very frustrating experience. I purchased some items online on April 30 and had to pick up the light bulbs in store as it could not be shipped. Received "Your order ending in xxxx is ready for pickup at Dublin East" email on May 1. I went to the store on May 3 to pick up my order. Despite showing the lady "Your order ending in xxxx is ready for pickup at Dublin East" email, the lady could not locate my order in the system. She came up with lame excuse such as "When did you place the order? It's not ready"(Hello, you're looking at the order is ready for pickup email); "You are at the wrong store (No, this is the Dublin East store, again look at the email). Also, even though I was showing her my name and all she had to do was to read and enter the data, she repeatedly typed/spelled my name wrong, multiple times. She never noticed her mistakes and kept on saying she couldn't find the order in the system. I had to point out repeatedly it's because she entered my name wrong yet again. I wish I could just take over and enter the data myself! Why are you here if you can't even read/type???!!! After much wasted time, she finally found my order in the system. She then went off to the back for over 10 mins and came back empty handed. She simply said "I have to clock out, bye" and just took off. No explanations, no apologies, no nothing. I was completely shocked by her customer service and work attitude(or complete lack of). Upon her departure, a nice guy took over. Even though he also had trouble finding my item and took a long time before he ultimately located the item, I could tell he was trying really hard and he had a good attitude. He was polite and apologetic about the unnecessary delay. That made me feel a lot better. It would probably be 10 times faster if I had just went to the store and grabbed the light bulbs myself, without placing the online order. Hope Target would improve on customer service and weed out underperforming employees. read more

Consistently out of stock of items I need. Every time I go there's at least one item it's anybody's guess what the price is. Employees not too sure where things are. Broke down and drove the further distance to Walmart, they had both items and the clerk knew where both were. CVS is good though. Next day, it's 3 times as far to Walmart, so I tried target again. 3rd time in a row out of stock on 3 different items which were my main reason for going there. Once again, no prices on what I did buy, had to get them at the register. Classic case of retail mismanagement. Once again, Walmart had what I wanted, and it had a price. read more

I was there to return Cat and Jack shoes and dress, my understanding is you have 365 days from day of purchase to return the item. It doesn't matter if it is worn or used, Target will refund you if you have the receipt electronic or paper. The employee opened the box of boots my daughter wore and didn't like and said "ugh these are used" I can't give you a refund I can only give you store credit. I said they are Cat and Jack and I've returned used items at other stores and they have refunded me. The employee said "you have 90 days from date of purchase to return unused items and you will get your refund ". I told her other stores have refunded me, she asked her manager and then returned to the counter and said "my manager says we can only do store credit" . The employee was rude throughout the whole experience and was annoyed at me and my used items. In the end she gave me store credit and she wasn't going to refund me at all. She didn't even give me the option to speak to the manager. There were buckets and wet towels throughout the entrance, not a good impression. read more

***This Target is a big, clean and new one that feels less expensive than the Target stores in and around San Francisco; it is also conveniently located right off the freeway (easy to get to this Target when exiting the freeway and easy to get back onto the freeway); this Target seemed to feature very friendly service too with the cashier casually ribbing my Coke purchase in the morning as "Emergency Coke" (referring, of course, to the carbonated beverage)--a lot of friendly and smiling faces on the staff here*** This Target, like most Targets, has its own free parking lot; the parking lot is huge and it is easy finding an open space. read more

Big and beautiful, like me! Ok so I am embellishing the part about me but this store is BLOW YOUR MIND huge! Came here to find some maternity clothing with my sister, no it's not for me thank goodness!!! I'd be a really b**chy pregnant dude anyway but I digress. This store apparently doesn't have the greatest selection as it's sandwiched between the petite, regular and plus size sections of womens clothing. Luckily she was able to find a few things and resolved to this being a cumulative effort. Of course once we were done I had to pull her over to electronics to get ideas for a new TV. Clean, big, organized, right next to my house, not crowded, and has a Starbucks inside to the left. Shopping here is like a mini vacation. Side note: I found a twitching, almost dead cockroach on the floor inside the women's bathroom last time. I've stopped at this Target twice coming into and leaving the Bay Area. It sure feels like its at the edge of civilization. You can get your cleaning supplies, your Starbucks, a new pair of shoes, and your cash back all at this one easy stop off the freeway. Plenty of parking outside, not too crowded inside. This is the main target I go to and I have to say I always pretty much find everything I need. I like the wide isles and the cashiers are generally friendly except that girl Marie. This is the Target closest to my work. Sometimes I go here with coworkers at lunch time to pick up random supplies. It's laid out very similarly to other Target stores, so it's very familiar. The food area workers are very fast and efficient. Also, there's always plenty of parking and no lines when I go during the middle of the day. I suppose it will get more busy as more houses are built in the area. read more

This new Target is clean and modern. Since it's new in an area all to itself for now, it's my Target of choice due to the lack of shoppers. I'll go out on a limb and say this Target has the youngest, prettiest cashiers around. I swear there's eyecandy at every checkout aisle. But oh no, that has no direct correlation with this being my favorite Target store... Since coming here, I've actually started to browse the grocery section more. They carry Gardein meat-like products and beer & liquor . What more do I need? The prices are usually pretty competitive as well. The LED lighting is pretty trick in the freezer section. I sometimes walk down it just to watch it light up as I pass through. With a BJ's going up in the parking lot and Paragon Outlets (scheduled to be open by Black Friday 2012) coming along nicely, I'm sure "MY" Target will be soon be brimming with customers. read more
