I decided I wanted a Stressless chair just recently for a MCMish living room update I was doing, but I just didn't want to sacrifice comfort in a reclining chair just for the aesthetic. Stressless was the only thing I found that had the comfort I wanted while retaining an aesthetic style that was unique and appealing. It was about twice what I wanted to spend on a chair, but I decided it was worth it after sitting in some of them. I was visiting the area from out of town and just thought I'd stop in to check out some chairs with zero intention of buying one this weekend. But Brandon and then Brian helped me and talked me through the features of the chairs being super helpful yet never once did I feel pushed or pressured into making a purchase. It was less like they were selling to me and more like they were just happy to share what they knew about the chairs. And, after some informative discussions they gave me plenty of space to decide on my own while still occasionally checking in to make sure I didn't come up with more questions. Turned out they had a special on a chair that I really like at a price that was doable for me and I ended up placing an order for a new chair that I can't wait to get! So far I couldn't be happier with my experience at this store, very unlike many other furniture stores I've been to. If you want truly quality furniture with friendly and helpful, but never pushy, staff then Lifestyles is the place to go! As a former salesperson and a rather picky consumer I'm very critical of my shopping experiences and this is probably the best I've experienced. UPDATE - I've now received my chair and am happy to say I'm still just as impressed with Lifestyles. My chair was delayed a little from the expected delivery time due to the manufacturer but Brandon at Lifestyles was great and stayed in contact with me, let me know what was going on, and got me my chair as quickly as possible under the circumstances. I also received thank you emails from both Brian and Brandon after letting them know I received my chair. This is a store that really cares about providing great customer service and I will not hesitate to go back to them in the future! Oh....and the chair is amazing! UPDATE 2 - after 4 months or so I'm so glad I bought this chair. I couldn't be happier with it. Still looks like the day it arrived and has only gotten more comfortable as the leather and padding has broken in. Fits like a glove now. Best furniture purchase I've ever made and I'll be happy to go back to Lifestyles in the future for my other furniture needs.

They were very…read morefriendly and professional at the purchase time, ordered exactly what we wanted, no pressure to buy something more expensive, and it was delivered right on time. Recently I noticed the fabric showing signs of wear that I didn't think should be, so I took a picture in to Brian. He contacted the manufacturer right away, they sent out a claims rep, and long story short they are replacing the cushions without any hassle whatsoever!! We are very impressed with Lifestyles, and will not hesitate to tell anyone about them. Very good quality products and customer service! If we need furniture in the future will shop there first!

    Worst delivery ever! I paid them for delivery mind you, it was not free. They severly ruined my…read morefront storm door. They dropped the 400 pound box on the hardware for my storm door closer and completely ripped the closure out of the frame and told me it was messed up already. I can't keep the door shut now. I have two dogs that can push on the door and escape now if I do not have the door locked. I have to keep the door locked all the time until I get it fixed. I was trying to wait until the owner came and looked at the damages but I haven't heard anything from him. I called twice. I paid cash so I guess they're through with me. I wished I used a credit card so I can dispute enough to cover the damages. I had someone look at the damages and he said, to do it right we'd have to put in a new frame. The frame is a one piece unit so you just can't cut a piece of wood down and just plug it in there and patch up the ripped out wood. If I could add pictures, I would. I need a new frame to fix it correctly. My door won't stay shut all the way anymore as when they dropped the sofa it hit the handle too because it sits uneven now as the handle used to be horizontal. I called them twice and of course Omar said the owner is on spring break. Haven't heard from them yet. Also, what store owner leaves his business with no one in charge. The second in command should be calling me and checking out the damages. So it looks like they're just trying to avoid me. They don't want to take responsibility for the damages. Jeff was the salesman who sold me the sofa. He also was part of the 3 man delivery team. They needed four people. They should have cut the box open outside and brought it in piece by piece which probably would have been quicker and less dangerous for them and my home as they totally ruined my nice storm door. I tried to buy new hardware for the handle and I can't find anything that matches it. I'm so furious at them. Also I smelled alcohol on them and also marijuana. The reeked of marijuana. So they're driving the company vehicle stoned and delivering 400 pound boxes stoned.Therefore, they dropped the box on my doorway and now try to blame it on me and saying it was already like that. Would you believe that garbage. Jeff, the salesman was part of the delivery team too.. He did not look at me at all. He acted as if I wasn't there. He didn't say hello, nothing. I am a busy person and I don't appreciate that I had to sit here for an hour typing this up. This occurred at the 3536 North Brady street location in Davenport, Iowa. Yelp, I had trouble finding the correct location. I assume the same person owns both stores. I do not notice they pay attention to the reviews. But if this review is removed, that means they took responsibility for the damages.

    My furniture was delivered yesterday, and unfortunately, I was unable to be present for the…read moredelivery due to my work commitments. As a result, I missed the opportunity to oversee the entire setup process. The delivery team went ahead and assembled everything as planned, including plugging in the various pieces. However, I've run into a significant issue: my electrical recliner is not functioning at all. This malfunction is particularly frustrating because I was really looking forward to enjoying my new furniture, especially the recliner, which was a major selling point for me. To make matters worse, I've been informed that I will have to wait a full two weeks before a technician can come to examine the chair and determine what's wrong with it. I sincerely hope that the issue can be resolved quickly and that I will soon be able to enjoy the comfort of my recliner as intended. Reflecting on this experience, I've come to realize a valuable lesson: not every deal that seems too good to be true actually is. In this case, I feel like I've learned a costly lesson worth around $4,000. I had high hopes for my new furniture, and now I find myself dealing with unexpected complications. It's a reminder to be cautious and do thorough research before making significant purchases. I just hope that in the end, the wait will be worth it, and I will soon be able to relax in my new recliner.

They talked at me, complained and swore around my children and I'm pretty sure they were chemically enhanced when they showed up if you know what I mean. When my couch did not fit the spot I wanted it at, they never even asked me what I wanted to do, they just threw it back on the truck and left. Unbelievable!
