This is a used bookstore that is very reasonably prices at $3 for paperbacks and $5 for hardbacks with a few other prices in between. They do game nights and have board games spread throughout the store. I really enjoyed having D20 die to figure out a drink because I happen to be very indecisive when there are lots of choices. We ended up a red wedding (17) and a stygian jungle night (18). Both were really good and my friend and I cannot wait to stop at this store again when we are back in town!

don't pre-order books from them if you want to get them, Or want to get them with as much hassle as…read morepossible. pre-odered a book over a month in advanc, the release date came and went with no notice of book being shipped, called got told well the wear house has them but they take their time it'll ship when they want to and it is what it is. waited a few days still hadn't received any news on when it'd ship, went to the local store and talked to a manager who while helpful also got stonewalled and misinformation she was told that the book was on back order and it would ship when it was restocked, I told her to just cancel the order and she was informed that the order would not be canceled and would be held until the publisher didn't send more books.. with no timeline on when that could be. I was in the store for an hour trying to get this fixed. With no fix in sight I left with the manager saying she'd have them email me with the ultimate solution. They emailed alright with multiple emails saying everything they'd just said and then pulled the money for the book from my bank. At least I no longer had a pending hold on the money. And then the next day they said the book had shipped. it was never on back order, they just had it and didn't want to do their job until they had to when told they couldn't just hold someone's money in limbo. I had ordered the book from Amazon as I left the store when they said it was on back order and no timeline on when they'd ship, got it for less and it was shipped that day. No extra drama needed. To say that when bams book comes in it will be returned for the refund should go without saying. And I'm absolutely positive that getting the money from the refund will be as much of a hassle as just getting the book shipped was. I for one will never order a book from them again. But we have other book stores in the area to use too so it's not hard to say I might not ever even give them any business just because of how only 1 person in the organization seems to have customer service skills. To be clear, if they would have communicated in the first place and just done their job at the wear house in a timely manner they wouldn't look like trash scammer.

The inside was welcoming and there were a fair number of people sitting around drinking coffee and browsing books. My wife and cousins all got drinks and generally liked them. My kids founds a couple books that they liked and ended up getting one. I liked the vibe, and overall was happy with the visit. The only downside of the shop is that it is relatively small. They have an okay selection, but you are going to be limited in your choices. If your tastes align with the selection on hand you will be fine, but you could end up leaving empty handed.
